Fun facts about Twisted Wonderland Oc’s lets go

Ren Yū is capable to overblot, it’s not the whole self sacrifice thing they do in the STYX chapter but there is a chance.

Yuuko and Yuuki have been referred to a nickname in their home town surrounding around the Japanese urban legend. They’ve been compared to Hanako due to some seeing Yuuki cosplaying the character from toilet bound Hanako Kun a couple of times and one halloween Yuuki being the manga adaptation while Yuuko went more realistic to the actual legend.

Ophelia has a laugh similar to a witches cackle as she developed it from watching hocus pocus a lot in the human relam. She even dressed up as Winnie for halloween multiple times.

Jadiel is just a yandere like a more of yandere that is very charismatic and can charm people into getting what he wants and it usually works (except on Azul, Sia, Ami, Lilia, and Rook)

Sia and Ami love to watch rom com anime series, they tend to binge multiple shows and sometimes lets Ophelia join in. Vil is very disappointed but can’t stop them. Trust me once he’s tried to get in the way he almost got punched in his beautiful face.

Yui Poppins has lived a long time like Lilia and has met Lilia before. Being the mysterious teacher for the Princesses and Great Seven and just disappeared when they all learnt a good lesson that the teacher thought each needed to know.

Pirate Captain! Yuu has played multiple tabletop games and dice games, would definitely join the board game club.

Erza is not actually human,one day he was created out of frosting and gingerbread and a bit of fairy dust and fae magic and boom. Erza learns quite quickly and was just dropped off on the Clover family doorstep but keeps his last name of crumble.

Twst!Eret is definitely a decent of Belle/Beauty or Meg because our queen definitely deserves it.

Twst!Hannah she is the one that tends to the botanical garden and would join the Mountain lovers club because yes.

Twst!Puffy is obviously a decent from Captain hook, and no one can convince me otherwise and would just join a boating club.

Twst!Ranboo often is referred to as Mallus’s long lost sibling. just because they act similar and are intimidating at the same time. Ace and Deuce both screamed on the top of their lungs when Ranboo went into enderwalk for the first time being there in their full form just clinging onto their friends saying said word happily in ender. Cuddling up to the braincell duo acting similar to a cat with a slight purr coming from them. It definitely took the Heartslabyul dorm by surprise to see this odd creature before Puffy came in and claims it to be Ranboo.

Author notes: this takes place the year before wednesday arrives, i've only written the first part and have no idea on the direction just yet so any ideas are welcome in messages!! This is also the first fic i have ever actually posted - let me know what you think :D

The rain had just started, you could see specs across your window as it slowly covered the entire pane, the moonlight shone through, creating patterns of light throughout your room, you were sitting at your desk, doodling across your homework. Your favourite class was definitely botanical science with Miss Thornhill, but at the end of the day homework was still homework.

You flicked your pen back and forth, glancing around your room, looking for any distraction. Unfortunately your roommate had to leave the academy earlier in the semester, leaving you alone. You usually loved having the room to yourself, but some nights it really did feel lonely, you could hear every creak from the footsteps above, laughs from the corridor and rooms next door, it was maddening.

You decided enough was enough, you were bored and needed to do something stimulating. Thankfully, your species allowed you to keep entertained fairly easily - you were a poltergeist.

You died at a young age, but your bloodline had worked closely with witches, a spell allowed your parents to bring you back to life, but not quite as they imagined.

Your powers allowed you to do things many couldn't, you could pass through things such as walls, levitate, turn invisible (which you called ‘cloaking’), and you had a certain way with pyrotechnics. Your parents believed when you were brought back that you changed, your mood, attitude, whole personality even, mischief (which poltergeists are known for) seemed to overtake your new life. It was difficult at times - even the outcasts viewed you as weird. An outcast in a school of outcasts. You had a handful of friends here and there, but no one made you feel really safe and included.

You left your homework and pushed away from your desk. Nevermore had a curfew of students in their dorms by 10pm on weekdays, but it wasn't rare for students to break this rule. You cloaked yourself and passed through your door, your nails dragged across each door of Ophelia Hall as you left the building. You loved that you could torment people and they would never know it was you.

You had already explored most of the academy, so this time you decided to explore the woods. You followed a stream leading you deep into the woods, listening to the sound of flowing water, the further you went into the woods the creepier it got. The once light drizzle was now getting significantly heavier, owls were hooting, while the wind whistled and then suddenly a snap. A branch. Something or someone was behind you. You turned quickly but to your surprise, no one was there. As you turned you noticed a shed through a clearing, there was a dimly lit light glowing from inside. You walked towards, curious as to what could be going on.

You appeared outside the shed, you noticed an open padlock and chain hung around one of the door handles. You could hear loud music playing inside. Someone was definitely in there. You made sure your cloak was on and passed through the door, once inside you noticed drawings, paintings, artwork dotted everywhere, the walls were plastered, each desk had a sketchbook and some sort of material to be used, even the floor was littered with crumpled up paper and pencil shavings.

You looked towards the end of the shed, where the light was focused, you could see someone sitting on a stool, encased in their drawing, they were oblivious to you in the shed, being invisible did help. You looked around slowly at the artwork, you decided to flip through one of the sketchbooks closest to you, gently moving the pages so as to not alert the individual with you. One of the drawings caught your interest, an ink drawing of a statue, not just any statue, the Edger Allen Poe statue, you knew where this one on campus, the interesting thing about the drawing was that in the background there was an array of books, almost like a library behind the statue, but you knew this wasn't the case, you had scoured most the academy.

You decided to tear the page out, forgetting you weren't alone. The individual spoke out. “Who's there?”, they asked. You dropped the page and turned, you could now see the individual's face, it was Xavier. You and Xavier had a few classes together, mutual friends, but not much of a conversation ever existed between the two of you.

“I said who’s there?” Xavier asked aloud again.

You remembered you were still cloaked, you decided it would be more fun to mess with him instead of reveal yourself. You walk towards him, making your footsteps heavy so they bang on the floor with each step, you drag your hands across the desks, pulling drawings across the floor, you do your best ghost impression and let out a long ghostly moan, you even let out a few giggles on the way. Xavier looks scared, shocked, confused. You move closer to him, levitating slightly so you are face to face, all within a moment you uncloak yourself and let out the smallest “boo”, Xavier shouts and falls back into the easel behind him.

You drop to the group and apologise, all while laughing so much it hurts.

“Not cool, Y/N”, “What are you even doing here?” Xavier asks.

You offer out your hand to help him up, Xavier rolls his eyes and takes your hand.

“Maybe I should ask you the same question, you know it's past your curfew Xavier.” You say back to him. Xavier scoffed.

“Tell me then, what even are you?” he asked.

“What am I? Can you not guess, I think that would be much more fun.” you replied.

“You're a pain in the ass for one thing.”

You looked up at Xavier, his eyes seemed glossy, like he had been crying, not that you would say a word to him about it. You glanced at the drawing behind him, walking towards it, you brushed your hand across the canvas, it was a vase of dead flowers. How morbid you thought. Xavier pulled his hand over the drawing, bringing one of the dead flowers out of the canvas, he gave it to you.

“I'm a poltergeist by the way”, you said trying to diffuse the situation, not many people responded well when you told them, which is why it was a secret you usually kept to yourself.

“That's cool,” Xavier responded.

You and Xavier didn't need to say much to each other, he invited you to hang out in his art shed, which you happily accepted given your love for drawing. You spent the evening sharing glances, drawing, and giggling. For some reason you felt like you could trust Xavier, he was open and honest which was rare for students here. Everyone always seemed to have some sort of mystery about them.

Welcome our 2nd year dormhead of Ghost Grove Ophelia Botān

Once the Headmasters found Yuuki, Yukko, and Ophelia’s way home only to find them to come back next year, Ophelia takes responsibility of the the dormhead role to give Yuuki a break from it and serve as vice.

welcoming in the new freshmen to the dorm with a creepy ghost greeting, making it a surprise for all of the staff and students unsuspecting their arrival and all

basically they realized where they were and snuck off to the dorm quickly and quietly and waited there with the ghosts of the dorm and began the creepy aura of the ’haunted dorm’ and freaked out Crowley and the students assigned to the dorm before coming out of their places.

COUNTESS ELEANORE’S SPECIAL WEDDING ENSEMBLE HONOURED GENERATIONS OF ROYAL WOMEN

As more photos of Countess E’s big day are released, online sleuths and royal enthusiasts everywhere have been on the case to try and look into the many special details of the wedding, especially E’s wedding ensemble.

The bride wore a pearl and diamond tiara, first thought to be a new piece made especially for E. However, a royal jewellery blog identified it as a family heirloom that originally belonged to the late Queen Astrid of Brindleton.

Queen Astrid was born a Princess of Henford before she married into the Brindelton Royal Family. She is the mother of King Leopold, thus making her Countess E’s maternal great-grandmother. The tiara, which has since been named the Queen Astrid Palm Tiara, was a wedding gift from the people of Henford to the soon-to-be Queen. Queen Astrid rarely wore the piece, instead opting for grander pieces (royal historians say she had a thing for jewellery and was dubbed a fashion icon in her time), but she did wear the piece for an official portrait, and this is the only photo of the tiara being worn - until yesterday.

The diamond and pearl diadem features a delicate palm leaf motif, alternating with natural south sea pearls. Thought to have been lost or dismantled, it’s great to see it finally out of the royal vault, and for such a special occasion, too. Countess E’s tiara of choice is also said to be in honour of her husband. The Al-Simhara Palm is Al-Simhara’s “national plant.” Ibrahim, of course, is the former Crown Prince of the oil-rich kingdom.

The tiara also perfectly matched the embroidery of Countess E’s dress, which, in itself is also very special. Although a few royal fans were “disappointed” by E’s “too simple” wedding dress, she apparently chose it for a very special reason.

The dress is actually a vintage piece, designed by the now-defunct fashion house, Harman Northelle, and was originally made for the late Queen Ophelia.

The Queen wore it twice: once for the opening of parliament, and again for a formal portrait. The short-sleeved number features a voluminous skirt and a fully-embroidered bodice. The dress looks to have been altered for E by adding a short (probably removable) train.

Countess E never met Queen Ophelia, her maternal grandmother, but it’s nice to see how she managed to include her late grandma in her wedding.

Finally, E’s only other jewellery (aside from her ring and tiara, of course) was a pair of diamond drop earrings. A fashion blog identified it to be Queen Emilia’s. The earrings were a gift from the Queen’s younger siblings, Princess Alice and Prince Leonard, on the occasion of her 18th birthday. The Queen (then Crown Princess) was first photographed wearing the sparklers during a trip to the botanical gardens many years ago.

The bride’s entire wedding ensemble was in honour of generations of royal women, and that’s so unexpected of E and we’re loving it! Who knew E had a sentimental side to her?

desperately wishing i had the skill to draw & write a version of hamlet in which they're all plant people and i could push the corrupted garden metaphor to be visual and fictionally tangible but also make it a story of rebirth with a 6th act in which the rot has fed a new, uncorrupted court (compost is cool, u guys)

ophelia as a conventionally beautiful & pretty flower (poppies? fragile, love-red, but also linked with poison) in the beginning, slowly rotting and being overgrown until blossoms sprout out of her eyes and mouth to show her being smothered by the patriarchal court. after her suicide she's reborn as pond vegetation. a lotus. lilypads. for the rebirth theme and as reclaiming of the danger represented by water throughout the play (framing her as a character capable of escaping the rot of the court, like she does in the original through death outside of the castle)

guildenstern and rosencrantz as parasitic vines twisting and twining together until they meld into a two-faced janus after their death. only then can they begin a reflection on the past and the future, and play the role of commentator of the evolution of the court

laertes as a weeping willow, a tree to symbolize his toughness and successful masculinity, but a riverside, droopy one, to foreshadow his death (he is felled in the end and does not re-ermerge from the water as he sister does)

claudius as an unleafed winter apple tree, already fully corrupted, hiding masses of insects and putrefied plant matter inside his hollowed bark. also because dead trees foster new life (favored by birds to build their nests in)

king hamlet as a thunderstruck tree, echoing his brother in being already symbolically corrupted (bloodthirsty conqueror) but felled prematurely via extreme violence

polonius as mistletoe. for the association with trickery (emblematic of the loki & baldr story) and the completely toxic parasitism (unedible fruits, ungraceful, sucks the sap of stronger trees--claudius) and also because i think it's kind of a goofy plant

all guards and gentlemen as common trees -- birches, maybe, because they're less imposing than oaks. (and of course, they're all rotting a little bit, like the rest of the cast)

horatio as an olive tree, because it's associated with athena (thus knowledge, which evokes his erudition) and it's a southern tree, showing his foreign status (also because i like olive trees, and i like horatio. i think he needs a nice tree)

gertrude as lily of the valley, because it's pretty and a beautiful pure white, but kind of droopy and absolutely poisonous. Also associated with Eve's tears after her banishment from the garden. and finally hamlet as a black rosebush, because roses are kind of the protagonists of flowers and clearly identify hamlet as the main character, because it's such a classic edgy/goth choice, but also because, while hardy plants, rosebushes are by no means a tree, and we need to show hamlet's inability to fit masculine expectation by making him a feminine/androgynous plant (not a tree--also it shows his ousting from the order of succession, which is represented by a genealogical tree. being a flower, it's clear he's lost the land & throne). also roses are full of thorns, hurting those who touch them, and hamlet definitely fucks up his entire entourage. (i love him). and, finally, the black rose is a botanical anomaly, and echoes hamlet's genre-bending characteristics (as a character and as a play) ; and it's associated with darkness and co.

addendum: the yorick skull alongside a pomegranate as the fruit of the dead (greece); the fruit remains while the plant is long dead. to also evoke the myth of hades and persephone and a link with seasonal rebirth following corrupting actions. also because it has such rich symbolism across the world; so it foreshadows rebirth of the purified court in act 6. also because the little spiky bits of the pomegranate are reminiscent of both a jester's hat (yorick being a jester) and a crown (you can go wild with this one: because hamlet future king, because yorick presented as a paternal figure moreso than actual king hamlet, etc)

Summary:

In the Land of Miracles there’s a special ceremony taken place to honor the woman who founded their homeland and her family by lighting butterfly shaped candles and setting them free into the night sky. The time leading up to the event is a big community party in the town’s center.

Concept:

It all starts when Oscar gets a call from one of his sisters reminding him of the festival that’s happening tomorrow. He promised his sisters that he would bring a few friends since they worry about him at NRC. After hanging up he goes to Ramshackle to invite the Prefects. Estella finds him at the door and lets him in. He sees the Prefects sitting down in the lounge and asks them, and Grim, if they would like to visit his home. He goes into further details about the festival, Oruguita Liberta, in which everyone in his town honors the founding woman and her family by lighting candles that turn into butterflies and flutter around in the air. He then asks if they’re willing to go, to which they say yes. He thanks them and goes on to invite Marrin, Riddle, Jade, Jack, and Lilia.

The next day they arrived at the Mirror Chamber and are taken to the Land of Miracles. The town square, Famila Center, is decorated with many butterfly themed decorations and vendors selling their goods. They meet Maya and Reneta, with their friends. After greetings were exchanged the triplets take them to their house so they can put their bags down and get changed into their attire. Grim even gets a bow that’s decorated with butterflies. After they get changed they meet their mom, Alana Maldición. She welcomes her children home and their friends. She tells them they’re free to explore the square for the day but reminds them to be back before sundown. Before they depart, she serves some snacks for her guests as hospitality is very important in the home.

Lily asks why they need to meet back and Reneta explains that they’ll be getting their candles for later. They depart from the house and head back to the square. The triplets take them to a group of statues with a fountain surrounding them. They tell them it’s the Gifted Family, the family who first settled in the area. One by one the triplets go through the family:

As they talk about the family, Oscar mentions that there isn’t much about the Seer of the Future as at one point, people didn’t talk about him for some reason. When asked why, they said that they didn’t know why. After the history lesson, they head to a vendor and try the variety of arepas, a staple food in their home. It’s said that recipe was crafted by the Healing Cook but only her cooking had the power to heal whoever ate it. After she died, the dish was passed down to honor her. Oscar gets a few of them for himself as they’re his favorite food. They also get coffee to drink.

Minako notices the kids drinking the coffee and asks if it’s normal. Maya confirms that it is, but it’s best not to give them too much. After eating they go exploring around the other stands. Grim comes across a puzzle where by connecting the pieces it’ll reveal a secret picture. He gives it a go and the picture is of the Botanical Keeper and Magicless Savior hugging. As they continue roaming around, they find souvenirs for their friends back at school. Riddle is intrigued by the many toys that were based on animals that were with the Father of Beastaming. Lilia is fond of a cloak that can temporarily change your looks to whoever pops into mind. Jack likes the weights with donkeys on them. Jade is fond of the many mushrooms in their terrariums, some said to have been crafted by the Botanical Keeper. Estella likes the butterfly handkerchief she found, and a plush donkey. They also try more local food like coco rice and patacones.

Then they come across a little stage where a variety of creatures very performing shows. Anyone can enter if they wish and Oscar decides to enter and use the rats to put on a telenovela. While he plots out the story the rest of the group goes and captures rats (Twistune here) Once the rats were gathered he rehearses the plot and the show is on. The group were confused by the plot but everyone else loves it. Once sundown hits they all head to the triplets home and get their candles. She also hands them a match saying that turns the candle’s shape into a butterfly.

Alana leads the group to the edge of a river, one that’s incredibly beautiful. They all wade into the shallows and watch the sun fall. Once the moonlight is shining every strikes their match and lights their candles. After a few moments of waiting, and complaining from Grim, they all watch in awe as the candle glows from the inside and transforms into a butterfly. The butterflies take off flying in a circle around everyone in town. As they stand there and watch for a moment they start to hear music. Alana says that part of the tradition is to dance underneath the lights and that’s what they all do. (Twistune here)

You had lived since you were a child far from your roots, your mother had raised you in a small town in Wales far from Jericho. Laurel as a mother had been a complicated woman, she had strict rules that you had to abide by, she had a different way of upbringing than the rest.

Since childhood Laurel had taught you about the history of your family, the Gates family, about your ancestor Joseph Crackstone, she taught you to hate the excluded for who they were and for what they did to your family.

But, now sixteen years after your birth, your mother decided that she would start her revenge against the excluded and together they traveled to Jericó, she applied for a job as a professor of Botanical Sciences at Nunca Más and also managed to get you admitted as a normal student. excluded.

You did not agree with mixing with the excluded, but you had no one but your mother, you had no idea who your father was, your mother had never told you and when you asked her it always ended in a nasty argument and you with some tears locked in your room.

"Yes, honey?" She replied in her usual loving tone.

You sighed "...Why do we have to go to Nevermore? I don't want to go with them..." you said cautiously.

Your mother frowned and massaged her fingers into her head, "Y/N, we already talked about this. "Good girl" she released you and kissed your forehead "mom is proud of you.. she goes to prepare your things, tomorrow we will settle in Nevermore; the director Larissa Weems is waiting for us" she spoke and you nodded.

"Yes, mother" you answered and did as she told you.

In a few days you were unpacking your things in the Ophelia Hall room, your mother had asked that you be installed together with Merlina Addams, you hated to see her with all your heart. But on your mother's orders you had put on an extremely sugary smile every time you saw her.

You liked Enid better, she wasn't entirely an outsider, but she was still an outcast you didn't want to associate with. For your part it was embarrassing that the whole class knew that you were the daughter of the new and normie teacher, but you didn't care about the mockery of some excluded and the bad looks from the teachers.

Your mother had detonated the Hyde of the boy from the Weathervane, poor Tyler, you didn't like the poor boy at all, but he had been too manipulated by hatred and a thirst for revenge.

After a few weeks, you hated to admit it, but you had grown fond of some outsiders, you started to like them and not seem as bad as your mother had said; Of course Laurel didn't know about your growing truce with the excluded, you didn't want her to know. "You can stop pretending, Laurel... your daughter already told me everything" the black-haired woman spoke and the redhead's gaze turned to you with a frown, you swallowed dry with the fear accumulating inside you.

"Honey?..." your mother called, approaching you with dangerous steps.

"She's not going to listen to you" Merlina's voice spoke.

"You're wrong.." she put her hand caressing your cheek gently "I'm her mother, she would do anything for me.. wouldn't you, honey? You would do anything to please mommy" You looked at her with your big blue eyes full of tears, she felt bad, she felt painfully bad.

"No, mother! They are the reason for your suffering, not mine and you can't control that" you yelled and turned to Principal Weems who had posed as Tyler "Have you heard enough?" you asked as she transformed to his real body, your mother looked at them in surprise.

"Call Sheriff Galpin, Y/N" Larissa said looking at you sadly.

"Don't do it!" your mother yelled when you took the phone out of your pocket, she grabbed your arm squeezing it tightly while with the other hand she tried to grab your phone but Larissa took the phone before she could, you hissed from the pain of her hand squeezing your arm and you sighed when she released you, Larissa called Sheriff Galpin and after a few seconds the noise of the patrol sirens began to be heard.

Laurel slapped you with her hand where your family's ring was, the painful sting brought you to your knees and you felt tears stinging your eyes.

"You are a disappointment to this family, Y/N Gates," your mother spat.

The Sheriff entered the greenhouse and almost immediately handcuffed your mother who was looking at you with hate and contempt.

"How could you do this to your mother? How could you betray your family? "She yelled at you as she walked away towards the police car, Sheriff Galpin pulled your mother into the police car and you ran out to see her.

"Just remember this Y/N, I'm still your mom and I'll be back, I'll be back and you'll suffer the consequences for disobeying mommy! Mommy is so mad at you honey! Don't forget it!", she yelled with dark eyes. You sobbed letting the tears fall down your cheeks.

"I'm sorry.. Mommy... I'm so sorry" you said and you saw your mother leave in the police car.

You were crying in pain, the hole that your mother had left in your heart was big. You didn't know how to be without her.

Larissa put her hand on your shoulders trying to comfort you "I'm so sorry, Y/N" she whispered as she rubbed your back.

"I'm sorry too" you said in a weak whisper.
