#man those episodes #so many things put into perspective #like Simon’s role as a protector and his kindness and empathy and compassion and existence being the catalyst for the rest of ooo to #flourish #and Betty is a protector of Simon #I wonder if the last two episodes will explore more of her character? there’s so much to be explored about her giving so much of herself #to Simon but not thinking about what she wants for herself #do we get to explore her feelings or see her at all? will she have changed or learned to let go #I think there will be some sort of closure for the both of them #but at what cost #I am still crying over that scene with Simon’s memory of Betty and their song #my art #fionna and cake #fionna and cake spoilers #simon petrikov #betty grof #petrigrof #golbetty

Dreamworks has the best couples/relationships ever. The thing I've always admired about their couples is how mature and well-developed their relationship is. How one respects everything about their partner, gives each other time to build trust, and also helps each other become the best versions of themselves. They rarely (or even never) say "I love you" to each other because their actions are powerful enough to evoke that.

Also: the characters individually are some of the most well-developed characters in animation (yeah, I said it).

So yeah, these are just my thoughts. I just adore DW's characters and ships.

Hey anyone want to be crushed by the reality that in stopping the unknowing Jon became unknown to everything around him. He stops being Jon and becomes The Archivist and the only person who acknowledges that there's anything left of the person he was is Martin.

Yeah She's Dead

So, little Marcy died in the Winter King's world.

I draw this conclusion based of two facts:

Even post break up, Marcy would not let Ice King mess with Bubblegum for 100 years straight without stopping that mess

There's no Finn around to either help Winter King (because he was born post madness transfer and things WK is the good guy) or help Bubblegum (because timelines are wacky and who's to say Finn wasn't around at the time of the madness transfer)

But there's no hint of Finn anywhere - Winter King made himself helpers to protect himself because heroes don't exist in this world. That's a big clue.

So the lack of anyone helping Bubblegum and also curbing Ice King points to Marcy's death not only due to the lack of Marcy's influence but because:

If Marcy died as a child, the vampires would have feasted on the humans. There's no more humans in this version of Ooo. Ergo, Finn was never born.
