I don't know what to say about this situation.

Seolhwa put a paper and pen in front of me and looked at me with her icy eyes. It's disappointing if I have to be honest.

"So, you need me because..." I started to talk but she cut my sentence in.

"I need you complete your fanfiction." Also Junghyeok is there but he chooses to stay in his corner. It's hard to pour my feelings right now because of his presence. I don't want to look weak in front of him, I don't want to give this advantage to him.

"Why?" I asked like I don't know anything.

"Why you asked?" she asked me back like she holds herself hardly. "Look around you, Dokja. We are not in your favorite novel. We are in your damn fanfiction. I read both of that novel and your fic. You also surprised right? How everything is just different, maybe because of that you'd died your previous rounds."

"What do you want from me?" I asked.

"Give me a happy ending with my child. I don't want anything, Dokja. Believe me." Her eyes brim with tears. I clearly see the pain of a mother.

Being a mother is like that? Seolhwa just wants to her child back. She doesn't care anything, including me and Junghyeok.

Did I really write this fic for seeing myself beside her or just for seeing a mother I want to have?

Might be a scene from my fanfiction. I post it here just in case... Dokja might have some major Oidipus Complex :/

to celebrate Antigone's victory I've bought myself tickets to the latest Oidipus & Antigone remix showing in theatres near me right now (the entire situation just makes me giggle to be clear, i'm a adult woman with two and a half jobs and the tragedy poll is about the only tumblr drama i've felt involved in even though all i've done is vote and blog on my lil blog to vent my literature opinions, i do not and will not harass anyone, especially for tumblr sillyness)

Also found that the local national TV is showing not one but two (2) Antigone versions! Another local theatre production from 2011 and the 2019 Canadian movie that as far as I understand places it into the modern immigration situation. I might feel morally obliged to watch those too. Just to do my duty :P

Who am I kidding, I read Medea at 14, this is just my life.
