Alastor clutches his Vox doll close to himself, the scent of his muse wafting up from the beloved doll. "Are you fucking that midget, My Vox?" He snarls, gently petting the dolly's rabbit ears and watching them spark. "Hmm? Has he ensnared you? Taken you from me?"

"If that isn't half as pathetic as I thought it'd be," the Queen of Hell's voice cut in, and Alastor bolts up, eyes wide as he stares at his benefactor. "My Lady," he murmurs

"Save it," Lilith says, a large bottle of apple flavored vodka in her right hand. "It seems we both have a problem. Our beloveds are moving on...and neither of us like that option."

Alastor give a snort: "Well if you hadn't had us disappear for 7 fucking years--"

A deep rumbling growl leaves the Queen's chest, and her demon form flickers in, before she gives a yank on Alastor's soul. "It's not my fault your beloved is a slag who throws himself at anyone with a Mediocrim of power." She hisses, voice cold. "He'd probably have a go at Michael, of all the Angels in Heaven--"

A bellow of rage leaves Alastor and he flings himself at Lilith, managing grab some of her hair before the chain around his neck burns and slams him down. "At least Vox isn't 4 foot nothing, and remembers his daughter's birthday! Velvette has always gotten gifts and trips. Charlotte doesn't even know if Lucifer even remembers her birthdate!"

Lilith gives a gasp, and opens her mouth to reply before closing it. Then she opens it again. Then closes it. "I....I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm sure he remembers it. At least the month....but that's not what I'm here for. Vox has gotten to close to what's mine, and I obviously can kill him--it would make you too useless to Charlie. It would make Lucifer too useless again too, and that's not acceptable either..." *she growled, frowning.* "So I'm giving you a permanent power up--to help you get Vox away from My Luci no strings attached--well except one. You can't kill my husband." *she raised her hand up, a smirk on her face.

Not trusting her, but wanting more power to get his muse back, Alastor grabbed her hand taking the deal.

Lilith's smirk grew: "You kill my husband and I'll kill your Vox," she vowed, sealing the deal, as her power enveloped Alastor sinking into the deer demon, becoming his.

vanitas - i am putting him in a fucking blender and then giving him a big hug. give this guy a BREAK. there is something so wrong with him and i love it. him and noé are so incredibly well-done. pure opposites and they clash but it works. him and mikhail devastated me. he is so insanely kind and you dont expect it bc he keeps shoving people away?? and hes so snarky but hes doing everything to save others??? sacrificing his body to countless experiments as a child so that other children wouldnt suffer the same, saving the vampires with the book even as it chips away at the humanity he struggles to keep, being a DOCTOR. im gonna throw something

noé - i’m in love with him. that’s it. jk but he is AMAZING and his love for domi makes me wanna cry and also him and murr are so funny and when he said he’ll never set vanitas free, something in me revived. i love that his first instinct is always to protect, whether it’s by his own body or by inflicting violence. he is just so sweet and has a big big heart and i think im gonna go cry actually

jeanne - JEANNE!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH. her arc with chloé was WONDERFUL and she’s the cutest and coolest ever. im putting her in my pocket and patting her adoringly. she’s so fiercely loyal to her duty but when it comes to people she cares about she struggles because her heart is so big and i am JUST. I LOVE JEANNE

dominique - I ALSO LOVE DOMI. HOLY SHIT shes probably my favourite as of now. i didnt have much of an impression of her in s1 (tho she was so cool) but s2 hit me like a truck. i love that we got her pov of the whole thing with louis! doomed siblings haha my weakness. the scene of her holding back her younger self and louis just watching WAS SO INCREDIBLE. domi looking into her most vulnerable self and being forced to confront her past MMMM. her as a child chopping her hair off after louis died like WOW that murdered me. her saying she hates herself but fighting to stay alive anyway. AND HER AND THE SICK ASS ICE POWERS. AND JEANNE SAYING SHES BEAUTIFUL. and her with the line about protecting others or something. BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY DOMI IS A KNIGHT! mikhail - this kid both freaks me out and makes me miserable. as a child screaming help me big brother while he was being dragged away, and then when the book was eating him alive and he was screaming at vanitas to help him again. that killed me. and him doing everything because he wants to bring back their family. being stuck in the past and begging for vanitas to return with him IM GONNA THROW UP

chloé and jean-jacques - they aren’t my favourites but their arc was wonderful!! oh the tragedy of being childhood best friends in this show. i love that they found each other when it was needed. i love that they did everything to protect each other. i love that they saved each other. i love that both their true names have something to do with flowers, the same as the place where they first met (unless i’m remembering things wrong do not come at me it’s been a While skfhekfb)

vanoé thoughts - because vanoé is what i came for. i was Not disappointed. thejr dynamic is so silly and fun but also devastating. their designs being parallels, being Meant To Be, is great. vanitas having to hypnotise himself to kill noé, yet being unable to do it even with a KNIFE TO HIS THROAT. and noé also holding back, despite knowing that he is completely capable of killing vanitas too. and the rain and everything and ohhhh my god i will die. and vanitas leaning on noé in s1 and noé leaning on vanitas in s2 HECK YEAH. AND THE SUN RISE IN S1 WHEN NOÉ PROMISED TO STAY BY VANITAS’ SIDE. AND THE SUN RISE IN S2 WHEN THEY MADE UP. AND VANITAS TOOK NOÉ’S HAND! AND ACCEPTED HIM INTO HIS LIFE! after hiding everything about himself from noé, and now letting him see just a piece of him. and them arguing like an old married couple but also instinctively protecting each other. these damn gays

domijeanne - when do they kiss. like for Real. man i love that they hold such high admiration for each other and they support each other so much. and domi who harbours so much self-hatred and compares herself with jeanne, but jeanne just sees her as strong and beautiful and incredible. i love that they’re genuinely friends and always go to each other and ALSO LETS NOT FORGET THE DANCING SCENE! and also jeanne the hellfire witch and domi with the ice powers LIKE! INCREDIBLE SHOW STOPPING. pretty please i need them to kiss

overall - love the op and ed so much. love the colours and vibrancy and how during the last fight it was all grey and dull and ugh. studio bones KNOWS how to do symbolism with these damn colours. incredible and devastating writing and im definitely gonna go read the manga. drop dead gorgeous art style like all of these characters are BEAUTIFUL. a perfect mix of silly and pure horror and genuine love (both platonic and romantic and maybe some of these characters are trauma bonded but they come together anyway and that is just great) and tragedy. i love vnc. the bsd-mtp-vnc pipeline so real. they are all incredible shows but i think vnc has my favourite storyline out of them all so far. thanks if u read til here LMAO 🫶🫡

loving how at the start of last season the crew almost mutinied bc stede was a soft captain but now roach is out here embracing how all of them are "tender as hell."

"that's the code of the sea: the new first mate always kills the old first mate. it's always been like that" i don't think it was literally ever like that i think the writers decided that making up this bullshit rule would add drama to the situation. it's like how pirates can win duels by rendering their opponent's sword inoperable (as if pirates ever had like ritualistic duels). or next episode when zheng yi sao is gonna kill them for mutinying against ed. i love how all the logistics of the plot are always some handwavy-bullshit bc the show just Does Not Care about this shit. this is the ed and stede show and everything else is just superfluous set dressing

we were all fixated on lucius living in the walls none of us predicted that it could be izzy living in the walls

ok im sorry but "he's our dick" does not feel earned to me. like they use that fantastic shot of the whole crew in episode 6 last season but what's crucial abt that shot is izzy isn't hanging out with the crew. he's sitting away in the corner monologuing abt how he thinks maybe ed might not want to kill stede.

i do think it's significant tho that jim wasn't there for izzy at his worst aka threatening to withhold rations for laughing at him. like they weren't part of the vote to mutiny against izzy. but frenchie was and frenchie was like "start with his leg see where it goes" which does not seem like he's really that invested in keeping izzy alive.

also it's weird how we don't see fang at all for this bit with hiding izzy in the walls. like he would be the one i'd expect to have the strongest connection to izzy bc he knew izzy before the show started and he was hugging and comforting izzy last episode.

anyway imo jim keeping izzy alive is more abt them missing when they were on the ship with olu and the whole crew and the ship was like a family, not necessarily abt feeling loyalty to izzy specifically. i could be wrong tho who knows.

one thing i do know is that it is VERY important to point out how jim is struggling really hard with everything, archie is not. she wasnt there for the co-captaining era at all and she seems to be rolling with everything like it's all expected. this includes the wedding raid and ed pointing a gun at her last season and stuff. even now she's mostly just confused by why jim is bothering to try and keep izzy alive. but she acts like the amputation and the violence are all what she expected.

ok i completely forgot abt this scene where the crew back on the Revenge is talking in the hallway before they go confront ed but i think it's rlly interesting how jim is the only one who says anything abt how ed's sudden cheery mood is NOT a good thing. fang is like "do we think he's better?" and jim's like "fuck no!" and frenchie's like "idk he seemed pretty calm to me." like this is so fucking juicy to me. jim knew this wasn't "better." i think this is because jim kinda gets it. they know what it's like to be told you're only meant for violence. and they know what it's like to want something softer. last season i probably wouldnt have said jim understood ed's suicidal tendencies but the way jim KNOWS that this isnt better makes me wonder if they understand this, too.

𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘸𝘴.. i realize quickly after putting the pieces together , im in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘬 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘓𝘢𝘪𝘳 or whatever excuse the of a lair , i look beneath me noticing a puddle of ink moving up and Down, “t..the ink demon..” i whisper to myself , i Think he wants to devour me later.. i should escape while i can.. i hear him let out a low growl his tail swishing signaling hes about to wake up , i quickly step out from his embrace hiding behind some plushies , watching him wake up , he was probably not even fully sleeping i Bet .. , i Watch him look around , quickly getting on his feet , before leaving maybe to find and finally kill you?. I dont know .. rather not Stick around , i could maybe get a rest for a few minutes since this od the most soft place ive laid for a while.. “yeah 3 minutes and then ill leave..” i lay back onto the ‘bed’ laying Down closing ny eyes , the apparent 3 minutes im guessing have passed , i get up standing my feet before grabbing the plush , as i try to find the exit , a door ! I crawl out before making Way to where me and Audrey met up if we Got lost or seperated , walking along i hear screaming along with some weird liquid sounds , maybe its Audrey! , i turn quickly running over to where i heard the sounds looking out the corner, horrified by whatever the hell that thing is (ShipAhoy Wilson) You feel the need to scream and kill it as quick as possible its horrifying to look at and definitely not a Nice sight.. You notice.. Audrey! But shes doing something? Oh Shes turning off thoose Towers , But god That thing is bloody creepy! , she is even tricking it into breaking the barriers for the towers wow.. she really is amazing .. I notice something when she hits it , Wilson’s face inside it’s stomach? She finally makes it stumble back after a third hit , it screams as I keep watching not being able to pull myself away , fascinated , it stares right at. Audrey before moving , out of absolutely Fucking nowhere the ink demon appears and begins mauling at it before finally killing ShipAhoy Wilson before dragging him into a puddle of ink ultimately killing him before he turns to Audrey ,walking closer he says something , God he has an attractive voice, sad he’s a demon.. In the masterlist, there's a couple of posts that describe how Breg handles parenthood, in different settings of course. Such as Breg with an obsession who takes in a baby breeder, Breg and a "miracle pregnancy", and Breg with a single parent s/o. I think those are useful to give you a basic gist of things.

In general, is Breg ready to be a dad? No, fuck no. Maybe to a breeder hatchling he is, but to a human child? Not even close. He desperately wants to be a dad and has a very optimist mindset about it. The breeder is very willing to learn, but it'll be a challenge.

Whether the bay says "dada" or "mama", he's still overjoyed.

Anything that has to do with hospitals and doctors is extremely stressful for Breg, and he's going to be glued to your back the entire time, wanting to get things over with as soon as possible. The crying has him so tense he might just pop. His skin is constantly flickering and he'll snap at anyone who touches you two without warning. He never quite grows out of this, and you'll have to explain to the kiddo why daddy is so tense around hospitals, in a really soft and age-appropriate way naturally.

Breg has seen many tantrums in his unfortunate time within the facility. Ugly ones, things that mark you, from adults. He can handle most tantrums the kid throws at him without getting scandalized, but the "I hate you"s will kill him inside. Breg won't physically snap at them, but he does leave the situation, instead of addressing and chastising the kid. He's very, very concerned about safety and fights between peers especially, his tendency to shelter needs to be rebuffed every now and then. It'll calm him down if you invest in self-defense classes for the little one.

Lovers are scrutinized lightly, all things considered. Up until heartbreak happens. Oh boy, he's not going to enjoy dealing with that. Remember, Breg is yandere, he will kill for his child if he deems it necessary. While they're underaged, he can and will constantly warn them that mates have to be very carefully chosen and that they're not ready for that. As an adult, the breeder won't interfere too much in his kid's choices, but he will have a couple of tense, definitely threatening conversations with their partner. You know him by now, don't let this happen.

Leaving the nest always hurts, for most parents really. Distract the breeder or he will help himself to your kid's new place, just to make sure everything's okay. I can only picture your poor kid rolling their eyes as they open the front door to Breg snooping around, and then you have to come by to pick your dumbass up.

also my god... help... he would be UNBEARABLE when you ignore him. you don't give him attention, too much focused on what you're doing, and he pouts before dropping himself onto your lap staring up at you upset. the most dramatic he has been was when he tackled you onto your bed after you kept walking past him ignoring everything he said your way, now you were squashed on the mattress coughing out brief laughs as he keeps shifting on place while nagging you about how mean you are for not answering him, how dare you ignore him, you think you're oh so funny ignoring what he says but you should've known better because he's now gonna be so annoying.

that just makes you laugh even more, especially when he moves aside and catches you before you can stand up pulling you onto his chest, he then starts to swaying you around muttering about how mean it's of you to try and sneak away while he presses kisses to your neck, where you feel ticklish.
