why do so many people give avians (of the bird variety, specifically, but this does apply to many winged animals that arent birds as well) ear tufts of feathers when most birds dont have those? i feel like it would actually make more sense from a hybrid standpoint if your avian character didnt have visible ears. like a great horned owl hybrid would probably have big ol ear tufts of feathers, but like...lets take grian for example, a lot of people draw him as a macaw hybrid, and you cannot see the ears on a macaw. they arent visible. would it not make more sense if, when drawing macaw grian, he didnt visibly have any ears, with the holes being hidden under his hair or, if you wanted to keep it more visibly bird, under some feathers that were flat against the side of his head, instead of sticking outwards like big ears?

Yo, hc brain is back in full swing. Towards the end of a wrecking with Dream, (we'll make his ler Karl for this one) he's given a small break to breathe, his wrists pinned to either side of his head. "We're gonna do one more thing and then we'll stop ok? Now, tell me to tickle your tummy~" the idea of the ler making the lee tell them to tickle their death spot and halfway through making them say "keep going" and only stopping when they know the limit is reached

It’s so evil to make them ask for more tickles, especially now that they’ve nearly been tickled silly. I think Dream would straight up refuse at first, but would crumble within seconds of not getting any more tickles.

Dream shook his head, rapid giggles still spewing out of his mouth as his cheeks reddened even more. “N-Nohohoho”

“C’mon, Smiley~” Karl purred. He softly scratched Dream’s inner wrists, smirking at the resulting chortles and lack of squirming; it seemed Dream had managed to wear himself out. “You’ve got to ask me to tickle your tummy, unless you want to be done. And from what I can see, you’re still miles deep in tickly heaven. I bet you’d just loooove if my fingers danced across your belly, wouldn’t you?”

Dream whined in embarrassment. He half heartedly pulled at his wrists as he writhed under Karl in attempt to dispel the flustered feeling that had made home in him.

Karl continued, “My nails grazing the skin and tracing around. I’ll keep you in suspense for a while before finally digging in and kneading all of the sensitive areas, just how you like it. I’d love to blow raspberry after raspberry while my fingers skitter on your sides. Let me tell you, Cutie, you don’t stand a chance.”

Dream spluttered in indignation. His roses cheeks were sporting an embarrassed grin and his eyes pleaded with Karl to get on with it. Of course, he knew he’d have to ask. He took in a deep breath.

“Can you tickle me…please? He mumbled barely audible.

Karl was about to make him ask again when he saw Dream’s complexion. His sparkling eyes, shy blush, and flashing grin was enough to melt Karl from the inside out.

Karl wasted no time in getting started. He nuzzled Dream’s tummy for a moment, relishing in how he was already giggling. “Of course! Why, I thought you’d never ask.”

btw the way you curb the "worlds most enticing button" urge is to give into it by feeding it red herrings. filter a few boring tags and a few tags for things that are dumb/funny so that the button isnt always as enticing, sometimes its just holding some post abt characters you dont care abt. and sometimes it is a fun surprise and that satisfies the beast enough that the actually upsetting ones arent as enticing either

I spent longer on this than I meant to (around 9 hours as opposed to the like 3 hours I meant... whoops) mostly because I decided it'd be fun to try and do the background rather than JUST use a screenshot. Oh my days it took so much longer than I thought and I already went into it KNOWING it'd probably take a bit.

Kind of fitting given that's rekrap's sentiment about the whole armour trim thing but I digress haha!

I definitely reccomend checking out the armour trim series and the video this "fake thumbnail" is for, because it was a blast to watch, and I also just reccomend checking out rekrap's content in general! He's one of my favourite mcytbers atm and his stuff is great!! :D

Sometimes you can edit something that isn't working. But other times just completely redoing it #and going in with a different perspective can work WONDERS. its painful because oof owie my work but also it tends to really help a lot mor #than just trying to keep edting. its something that everytime i try it im always like well darn that was the best choice. so can reccomend #if your piece isnt working right for you and you cant seem to fix it. as painful as it is try starting from sratch (on a different layer) #it might be just the ticket youre looking for :) #anyway that's randy's advice for the night im going to bed
