listen, this man is my ultimate bias for a REASON. you are SO lucky if you have him as a boyfriend 😭

he’s a huge fan of PDA. holding hands, linking pinkies, having an arm around your waist, linking arms, hugging, and kissing are all things he’s comfortable doing in public (just pecks on the lips though, not full on making out LOL) he always has to be touching you in some way 🥰

he loves to play with your hair! no matter how long or short it is, he’ll always be running his fingers through it, twiddling with the ends, or ruffling it (if it’s long enough, he’ll even learn to braid it! it’s a very relaxing ritual that both of you love!)

You couldn’t shake the feeling you were being watched. 

Almost like someone was staring holes right through you, a hole through your lungs, making it hard to catch your breath. 

You also didn’t recognize your surroundings…you were definitely still in Gotham though. All alone on a foggy night with no street signs in sight and on an empty sidewalk. 

At least it seemed empty.

Being alone already had you on edge, let alone with someone you didn’t know…and who felt extremely threatening. 

The fog slowly dissipated a little and you could start to make out more of the figure. 

They were tall and broad, most of their face was obscured by the shadow of their hood. 

You didn’t get many more details because you quickly opted to turn away and start speed walking away. 

Your heart dropped when you heard a set of heavy footsteps echo after your own. 

Speed walking shifted into a jog and before you know it, you were running with no clear direction. 

Deeper into the thickness of the fog. 

Suddenly, you reached a door to a house. You yanked the door open without a second thought. Maybe this was a house you’ve been in before, if you had a chance to take it all in you could recognize it. 

“J-Jervis…Jervis!” 

You felt your mouth shape around his name but no sound came out of it. No matter how hard you try to get your chords to work, they seized to make a sound. 

“H-Help!” 

Still no sound. 

The figure’s shadow got larger and larger in the window. 

The house seemed to shrink-pulling you closer to the door. 

The door knob started twisting and turning–

The door creaked open–

“Wake up, wake up my dear! You’re having an awful nightmare I fear!” 

Your eyes shot open. Your heart almost palpitating through your rib cage. 

The house, the figure, the fog…it all faded away. 

In reality, you were in bed. Jervis at your side, his face riddled with concern. Both of his hands were on your shoulders, he gently shook you out of your nightmare. 

The only thing you could think of to do was hug him. 

“My, my, something in your sleep has gone awry.” He muttered but returned your embrace full-heartedly.

“Y-Yeah…I–It was a nightmare…An awful nightmare, Jervis. I hadn’t had one so scary in years–I…” You nestled your head deeper into the crook of his neck and shoulder. 

“I-I couldn’t find you…I called for you but no noise came out.” You quietly whispered, sniffling slightly. “I was all alone…”

Jervis’ heart sunk. He couldn’t imagine a worse nightmare. To somehow be separated from you, to not be there for you…to know that you need him and there isn’t anything he can do. 

He began slowly rocking you back and forth, softly shushing your quiet sniffles. “But not anymore, my dear! I promise you have nothing to fear, your Jervis is here!” 

You squeezed your arms around him tighter at that last statement. He’s right, you’re not alone…not when it mattered. Jervis was always there. 

After a few more moments of calming silence, you reluctantly pulled out of the embrace to face him. 

Jervis leaned forward and gave you a kiss on your forehead. 

“Would you like to try and go back to sleep? Maybe try counting sheep?”

You giggled at the whimsy rhyme, but nodded as you lowered your body into the mattress. You brought Jervis with you on your descent and he nestled perfectly into your side like a puzzle piece, with your arms still interlocked around each other’s bodies. 

You began stroking his scalp, your fingers gingerly raking into the strands of his hair. The rhythmic motion immediately lulled Jervis back to a soft doze. 

As you matched your breathing with him, you too finally fell back asleep into a dreamless slumber. Which you were more than content with, for there was no better dream than the reality of waking up tomorrow next to Jervis.

Summary: Credence seeks out comfort from Y/n after his wicked care giver beats him, Y/n calms him down and comforts him in a more pleasurable way. Just for clarification the reader is a year younger than Credence.

Y/n knew Credence for a while, she watched him from afar, once in a while talked to him, and even came by the church to see him. She saw the hatred his mother had for him, and it made Y/n's blood boil.

On occasion she imagined using the cruciatus curse on that evil woman, Credence had no idea she was a woman with magical abilities, until the day she came to him while Mary Lou was out.

"Credence, what did she do to you?" She had whispered in her usual kind tone. He shook his head and looked away from her.

"Let me help you." Y/n gently took his hand and guided him to his bed, she sat him down and unbuttoned his oversized cotton shirt.

She pressed her forehead to his and ran her finger tips over the red gashes on his chest, he let out a quiet whimper of pain and grasped her arm.

"Shh shh shh shh, it's okay. Let me heal you, Crede."

He slowly nodded allowing her to begin her spell.

"Vulnera Sanentur." She quietly chanted over and over until the gashes had disappeared.

"You're a witch?" He asked.

"Yes, you mustn't tell Mary Lou. Do you understand?"

Their eyes locked and he whispered...

Now here Y/n was sitting on her couch, curled up in a warm blanket hidden away from the cold snow of the outside, when there was a sudden but quiet knock at her door.

"Who in the?" She grumbled.

Y/n began yelling from across the house, as she practically hauled towards the door.

"Listen, Bub! I don't wanna here nothin about no witches or wizards! I have no interest in half decaying meat! I don't want bug infested coffee beans nor do I desire to be criticized on what my lawn looks like!" She then swung open her door. "So I would rather you take your deseased up-"

She was cut off by the obviously upset young man in front of her, blood soaked the palm of his hand and his white shirt looked tattered and dirty.

"Credence." Y/n said, stepping out of her house and wrapping him in a tight hug. "Come inside before you freeze to death."

He fallowed her in and she took him into her washroom. She looked at him with worry in her eyes, y/n gently caressed his cheek and connect her lip with his.

"You can stay here. I don't want you going back." She whispered.

He pulled her into a warm embrace, hiding his face in the crook of her neck.

"I'll heat you a towel, get yourself washed up and I'll bring you some new clothes."

He nodded. Y/n turned and left the room, closing the door behind her. Credence removed his clothes and turned on the shower, stepping in he let the warm water run down his scarred skin.

Y/n gently knocked on the door and opened it slowly, she set his clean dry set of clothes on the sink and turned to leave until..

"Wait...could you heal my wounds? I don't want to get blood the new shirt."

She locked eyes with him and nodded, Y/n slowly removed her clothing and joined him.

"Give me your hand." She said.

He did so and Y/n chanted her spell, he towered over her watching and listening to her words, the way he felt for the young girl was like nothing else he experienced before. She was kind and gentle, Y/n actually cared about him and he could feel that, she looked at him with such love and protected him.

"I love you." He whispered.

She looked up at him and smiled, Y/n captured his lips in a passionate yet hungry kiss, she suddenly felt his hard member brush against her leg.

"Credence...I." Her voice came out breathy and soft.

"Please." He rested his head on hers and quietly begged. "Please, I need you."

-Summary- You felt empty but Chan was there to help you feel better.

-a/n- This one was written shortly after a breakdown, 😀 hence the topic I suppose. I think we could all use a Chan for a good hug and some comfort.

You had a lot of bad days. Sometimes it would just be from anxiety or stress over school, but sometimes you just felt empty. You wouldn't feel like yourself, you didn't want to move or speak. You didn't feel like life, and you didn't know how to fix it. Today was another one of those days. You had finished your classes for the day and had walked straight into the bedroom and sat down on the floor. The floor had always felt more comfortable for whatever reason, maybe because you could press yourself into the corner of the room and hide there til you felt better.

You weren't sure when, but at some point tears started falling down your face. Why was that? It's not like you could feel anything, let alone sadness. Maybe it was your body trying to mourn the loss of feeling, it's way of saying that it missed life. Whatever the reason, you just let it happen. You didn't know what else to do. You would wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, til it fixed itself and you could feel something again.

Your brain barely registered that, as you were sitting there lost so far inside of yourself, that the bedroom door had opened. The lights weren't on but you knew that it was Chan, returning from work. Your head was leaning against the wall, knees curled up to your chest, arms wrapped around yourself, staring off into nothing when a figure crouched down in front of you. "Baby? Are you okay?" You finally understood that Chan had come home and was now sitting in front of you, wondering why you were on the floor curled up against the wall. More tears streamed down your face as you gave a slight shake of your head. This seemed to be the only time that any emotion would come back to you, when Chan would ask if you were okay and you would be upset that he had to come home to you like this. You hated how you felt nothing, how you couldn't fix it. You hated how you could lose interest in everything that you loved in an instant. The more you thought about it the more frustrated and upset you became. Why were you like this? You were full on sobbing at this point, burying your face into your lap to hide yourself from Chan.

Seeing how vulnerable and upset you were only made him want to comfort you more. He hated seeing you like this, not that he's blaming you for being like this, he just hates seeing you so empty and sad. He hated seeing everything that made you happy mean absolutely nothing to you. He loved seeing you laugh over something you saw online, or something that he had said or did, he loved seeing you enjoy the little moments in life. Seeing all of that be ripped away from you made him want to cry. He wanted to make you feel better in anyway that he could.

Chan gently picked you up and sat down on the bed, cradling you in his lap as you started crying again, hiding your face in his chest. "It's okay to feel like that some days, and it's okay to cry because you feel that way, it's okay. I promise it'll go away soon. I'm here." He ran a reassuring hand up and down your back, the other one holding your body against his. "I won't leave you, I will always be right here for you." He left a kiss on the top of your head and started rocking you both back and forth.

Your sobs started to quiet down into a series of hiccups and sniffles. You were exhausted at this point and were starting to doze off, but you had one request before you fell asleep.

Chan could tell you were getting tired and would probably fall asleep soon, you always feel asleep after you cried. He could feel your little fingers uncurl from his shirt as your wet cheek left his chest to look up at him. He looked down to see pleading eyes and cheeks covered in tears. He brought a hand up to wipe at your tears and caress your cheek with his thumb. "What is it little one? Are you tired?" You nodded your head as you pouted up at him and wiped at your cheeks. "Would you like me to sing you a song? Hmm? Would that help my princess sleep?" You blushed at the nickname he used and buried your face in his neck, slowly nodding your head. There was something very relaxing about having your face pressed against his neck when he would sing.

Chan leaned back against the bed and covered you up in a blanket before he started to quietly sing one of your favorite songs. He might not always be able to make the pain disappear but he could be there for you when you were hurting.
