Kept debating which blog to upload this to but fuck it, I put my 90% into this (the remaining 10% was me just using a screenshot for the background), so may as well post here.
Silas: Hmm. Good spine, average muscle growth, straight teeth, quick reflexes. You'll make a... bearable subject worthy of my time.
Ava: *Spits at him*
Silas: *Wipes spit from his face* The frontal lobe has much to be desired, but we can't have everything now can we. *picks up scaple and holds it close to her forehead*
Vincent: *smashes through the door FBI style with Nidra behind him.*
Silas: Miss Cole!
Nidra: I tried stalling him, but he wouldn't buy it! He won't even tell me the size of his skull!
When Nidra was revealed to be the newest character to be added to Them's Fightin' Herds (TFH), I immediately thought of Meitenkun from King of Fighters (KOF). I like Nidra's design and since it looks like I'm a big fan of sleepy FG characters, I decided to make art of the two. It took a LONG time to finish this, but I hope you all enjoy it.
(If it turns out that Nidra has a Meitenkun alt color, I'll pick up TFH again and make her my main. It probably won't happen but that's my promise.)
Also a vid of the whole process/speedpaint of the piece + the total time spent making the piece.

The final update for Them's Fightin' Herds is now live! It included Nidra and Baihe, their stages, and a third bonus stage, The Forbidden Section.
Sadly no story mode update or anything else, and this is the end of development. It was a fun ride, and the new pair are complex enough to keep me busy for a while.
...also Nidra had both a Moomin skin, and a Kamen Rider skin!

The five Vrittis: Pramana, Viparyaya, Vikalpa, Nidra, and Smriti
As a teacher of Ashtanga Yoga, I often read, study, and then use in my practice Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
In his analysis, Patanjali discusses the five kinds of Vrittis (वृत्ति in Sanskrit, literally meaning whirlpool), or fluctuations of consciousness, that represent the different activities our mind can be involved in while it is in the medium of consciousness.
The Vrittis
So, which are these…
