Imperial-Topaz ranks SWTOR Romances

To mark my return, I decided to do a SWTOR ranking, this time with the romances. I'm gonna stick with just vanilla ones for now, and do expansions at a later time. Also, I'm not doing any of the 'one-shot' romances, or I'll be here till the next century. Again, this is just my opinion, let me know what you think on these romances in the comments or reblogs. Anyway, this is gonna be a chonkey one, so let's get into it.

19. Kaylio Djannis

What a surprise. Anyway, she's down here for one reason in particular. She's literally the only romance option that fucking cucks you.

Yup. Honestly, Kaliyo is such an unlikable piece of shit. She trash talks you even if you're flirting with her and probably doesn't see you as anything more than a one night stand. I don't wanna look at this bitch no more. Next! 18. Doc

Yeah, you know how I feel about Doc already. The walking sexual harassment lawsuit who can't take 'no' for an answer. If you're a female knight who doesn't want to romance him (or at least wants to take things easy and not rush), you're in for an uncomfortable time. But what if you're into his flirts and return them? Is the relationship a bit healthier? I suppose, but his attitude makes it hard for me to take his commitment seriously. I just have this feeling that he'll run off to bang a hotter chick if given the opportunity. I mean, he already fled a wedding once.

So yeah, fuck Doc and his ugly ass crowbar mustache. 17. Nadia Grell

Before you crucify me, I like Nadia, okay? She's a great character. Her romance on the other hand is...eugh. There is a lot of unfortunate implications. You guys already know I'm not a big fan of Padawan and Apprentice relationships, it's just creepy for me. Also, you start romance literally after her father dies. I'm serious, it almost plays into the Sex for Solace trope. Also, the Consular is coded to be an older person, while Nadia is really young. I mean, ngl, I don't mind age difference as long as both parties are the age of majority (which, to give credit, they are) but still. Honestly, I just like Nadia better as a surrogate daughter/little sister to the Consular.

16. Corso Riggs

Yeah, Corso is...not the best in my opinion. I'll give him credit, he's got good looks and plenty of gentlemanly charm if you're into that sorta thing. But then again, his romance setup pretty much forces you to take advantage of him while he's drunk. Already that bumps him down a few spots for me. Personality wise, I find his whole 'don't hurt woman at all' shtick to get really old, especially when he does it towards women who are actively trying to kill him and the Smuggler. Buddy, you can defend yourself and still be a Gentleman at the same time. His jealousy also kinda gets on my nerves. Not my cup of tea, but I won't judge anyone who picks him.

15. Jaesa Willsaam (Dark side)

Some may not like that I put her this high, but the reason Dark!Jaesa is above the last four for me is simple: the entertainment value. Honestly, her romance is also roughly how I feel about her character: not actually 'good' per say, but so hilariously over-the-top and edgy, that I can't help but laugh. A perfect fit for a chaotic dark side Sith Warrior. However, as a genuine love interest? Not the best. There's better options you can pick for that. Also, I'm not discussing in this list Light!Jaesa, since I believe that's an expansion-only romance.

14. Raina Temple

Alright, done with the bad, now we can move onto the good, starting with Raina. She's alright in my opinion. I don't have much to say, honestly. I like her whole everywoman theme, she's cute, she's got some complexity to her, and she's not Kaliyo. Not an absolute fav, but she's good in my book.

13. Andronikos Revel

Again, not much to say. Revel's got a good arc to him: starts off casual and laid-back, but once you get to know eachother, he opens up and it becomes more serious. I also like how he's flirtatious and not an absolute creep about it...unlike a certain someone... So yeah, simple and sweet. 12. Risha Drayen

Don't have much to say for Risha, either. I like her, but I'm not crazy for her. I will admit, I do have a soft spot for the whole princess x rogue type of romance, and she is a pretty likable and personable character. I just prefer the other romance option for smugglers, but we'll get to that in a bit. 11. Felix Iresso

Someone give this man a hug, a blanket, and some snacks. He did not deserve any of the shit he went through. Hurt/comfort aside, I like Felix. He's calm, mature, friendly, and straight-forward in a good way. I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, I am having trouble of what to say. Moving on! 10. Ashara Zavros

The one thing holding Ashara back for me is the master/apprentice dynamic. That's really the only problem I have with her romance. I just find it creepy. That aside, Ashara's pretty good. I love her character arc of her realizing the conflict between Jedi and Sith isn't as Black and White as she initially thought it was, and how it ties into her romance. I especially like romancing her with a Light Sided Inquisitor. It's just so sweet.

P.S. They did her dirty in KOTFE 9. Vector Hyllus

I know how beloved Vector is and some people are really not gonna like me not putting him the top 5. That's only because I only did his romance once. However, I did enjoy that playthrough. Vector is a very wholesome and quirky character with some interesting romantic themes. I'll have to play through him again someday. 8. Akaavi Spar

Man, I love warrior women. Especially ones who soften up over time, just like Akaavi here. I honestly have a soft spot for characters who completely wall themselves off from everyone else, but slowly begin to let other people into their boundaries as they open up. I know some people might not like me putting her over Risha, but I can't help it. Akaavi is just great.

7. Torian Cadera

Once more, not a whole lot to say, but I do enjoy Torian. His loyalty and courage are always endearing. One of my favorite moments in this game is reciting Mandalorian wedding vows with him. IDK why, but it's just so adorable for me. He, the Hunter, and Mako are an OT3 of mine. 6. Elara Dorne

Elara's romance is pretty adorable. She slowly begins to fall for you, spends time trying to adjust to a more casual relationship, and even goes out of her way to fill out heaps of paperwork and bypass regulations just so she can be with you. I love it. The one downside for me is the fact that you're her CO and she's technically sleeping with the boss. I don't hate it as much as the master/apprentice thing, but it does come a bit close. Other than that, she's great.

5. Malavai Quinn

Kicking off my top 5 is Quinn. The reason he's not number 1 is because I have a few issues with his romance. For one, you can turn the relationship very possessive and abusive as a dark side character. It's pretty scummy that the game lets you do that, and there is a sadly not insignificant amount of people who like to take that route. I won't call names, but still, it can get a bit iffy. On the other hand, if you're passive with him and respect his boundaries, his romance is considerably sweeter. It's really rewarding to see him show his undying loyalty and affection for you if you're not aggressively demanding it from him, and I love how you can rebuild your relationship after the Quincident. Really wish more people would go down that route. 4. Mako

Honestly, Mako has one of my favorite companion dynamics in the whole game, romance or not. She's charismatic and quirky gal to contrast to the generally gruff and straightforward bounty hunter, but still badass enough to keep up with them. And the romance, again, is pretty wholesome...and I'll leave it at that. Just plain cute and heartwarming. 3. Vette

Vette's dynamic with the Warrior is pretty much about the same as Mako's with the hunter. Which is why I really like her. I'm a big sucker for noble x commoner type relationships. Also in comparison to Malavai's, I like to take things slow with her, too. Instead of pushing every flirt button, it's wholesome to see her slowly come to a decision on her own and profess her love to the Warrior. NGL, though, I absolutely love how she literally jumps with joy upon being proposed to. Oh, and BioWare, how dare you make me choose between Torian and her! 2. Aric Jorgan

It's grumpy cat time. Another trope I have a soft spot for is the Defrosting Ice Queen (or King in this scenario). I love it when characters don't initially hit it off at first, but eventually warms up to eachother. Sure, when rushed, it comes off as contrived and unbelievable, but when done right, it's just amazing.

And Jorgan is just that, his friendship/romance evolution with the Trooper is a bit slow, but also believable. By the end of the story, he ends up straight up dedicated towards you. I also love how flustered he can get in romantic situations. Now if only BioWare made him bisexual... 1. Kira Carsen

@swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7 are gonna like this. Anyway, Kira might just be my favorite vanilla SWTOR companion. Playful, snarky, but still goodhearted and brave. And throughout the years, she'd still remained a favorite, both character and romance wise. I know, master/apprentice stuff, but I never see the Knight as her master. I see them more as Jedi partners (and perhaps more) if anything. I really like how you do help her overcome her past trauma and develop into a more responsible figure. Honestly, making her Bisexual in Onslaught was a chad move...if only BioWare did that for other companions. Conclusion

Awase - he honestly thinks its really cool. He may tease you ever so often saying your his guard dog and stuff like that lmao

Sen - he loves taking pictures of/with you and seeing peoples reactions when he shows them to someone (only because he knows they will get whiplash when they actually meet you)

Kamakiri - he honestly loves it ngl. Like you are both some intimidating fuckers that no one would dare to approach (and thats just how he likes thing lmaoo)

Kuroiro - he tries to get all emo about how your scary appearance and personality contradict yet compliment eachother (like yin and yang)

Kendo - shes a firm believer of not judging a book by its cover and you are a great example of why she doesnt do that <3

Kodai - she is an unbothered queen. She truly does not give a fuck and we love her for that. Seriously tho she doesnt care how you look as long as your a nice person to be around.

Komori - she constantly tries to dress you up in cute clothes that 'match your personality' but it somehow makes you scarier.

Shiozaki - she would honestly be a little intimated at first but once she gets to know you and relizes you were nothing like she thought she would pray for forgiveness lmao

Shishida - he was honestly a tad intimated when he first met you but now that he knows your personality he finds your contradictory looks to be kinda funny

Shoda - poor dude is already shy and a bit scared of interacting with people so he nearly jumped out of his skin when you went up to him to say hi for the first time. Over time he eventually found you to be a very calming presence for him

Pony - like komori, she tries to dress you up to make you look more like your personality and you both get a kick out of it. (Imagine your worst nightmare dressed as a cat maid lmao)

Tsubaraba - he honestly finds it hilarious and he jokes about it a lot (all light hearted jokes obviously)

Tetsutetsu - he finds your 'scary' appearance to be manly and cool asf. He constantly asks you to work out with him because you could look even cooler if you looked like you could beat the shit out of a bear :D - his words not mine

Tokage - when she first met you she almost got whiplash from how different your personality and looks are. She finds you to be cool asf tho (even tho she was a bit intimated at first)

Manga - he draws you two different ways. Way one is almost like the scary (but badass) and ominous villain at the end of a video game, the other way is like all the things nice in the world were blended into that drawing and somehow they are both correct.

Honenuki - he honestly adores it. Theres been once or twice in his life where hes been told he looks scary so he is kinda the same way lol

Bondo - he was scared of you at first, not because of your appearance but because of your personality. Hes one of the more quiet and shy members of the class so hes allways a tad nervous when meeting someone so energetic. (You both eventually became good friends tho)

Monoma - he teases the shit out of you but at the same time hes very wary around you. He doesnt want to piss off someone scary (especially if their in the better class)

Reiko - she thinks you look cool asf and she loves spending time with you. No metter how long she has known you tho, she will be caught off guard by your personality

Rin - he was a bit intimated at first but over time, once he got to know you, the two of you became good friends and he even forgot that he was ever scared of you to begin with

I love the FMN universe because it has so much potencial.

I love stories of people who killed themselves in ancient times finding themselves in the modern world.

I LOVE stories where people kill each other in ancient times and are reincarnated in the modern world and have to deal with each other in a civil way and having to deal with how the modern world sees them thousands of years after their death.

If I were an inhabitant of this world, (would I notice this trend of reincarnation in a part of the population, it's not like they are discreet) the moment I found out that there was someone called I don't know, Maegor and Baelor and they somehow reminded me of two Targaryen kings I would do everything to put them both in an enclosed space and watch them interact with each other for my entertainment.

Has anyone in this world ever done this? Someone must have put Jaehaerys and his daughters in the same place to see what happens.If I was an old money rich billionare I would do that.

I think we all know how odd people become as they climb the financial ladder. Billionaires are more often than not straight up weirdo’s behind the scenes according to rumors, so the idea of some super wealthy dude who’s been obsessed with the dance since he was a kid beginning to notice an odd trend amongst certain people (names, their looks, their attitudes) and proceeds to do the most unhinged thing ever by kidnapping everyone and shoving them into a room to play irl sims.

Trapping Jaehaerys and Saera in a room together just to see what would go down is an interesting idea ngl 😭

Now I’m thinking of a crack fic/filler arc in FMN where the whole fam gets kidnapped and wakes up in some uber wealthy guy’s basement who somehow knows who they really are. At first they thought he was gonna do some weird shit but it turns out the guy just wants to see how they interact with eachother. Now every time Aemond hits Aegon over the head or Joff tries to bruce lee his way past the unbreakable glass window the stranger grabs a big tub of buttery popcorn and a comfy chair.

He lets them go after about a month but he’s kind over actually talking to them so he just leaves the door open with a prerecorded voice note that goes “Y’all are dumber than I thought you would be, but I had fun. Bye bye.”

I'm so happy for all the Lewie/Roberto girlie's rn with the MN clip (my playthrough was R but know that L girlie's will have got the same one 🥰)

Personally I'm an Ozzy girlie and I'm ngl the casa stuff doesn't phase me, I'm gonna give clown emoji energy rn and paint my clown face on to tell you my thoughts 🤡

So obviously casa comes, we as mc get dumped, if you're on an ozzy route Oz leaves us the letter (wish it would've been a bit more sweet but that's fusebox for you), upon them recieving the postcard we still haven't been told WHAT they were shown of us on the postcard and as to why he felt the way he felt about the situation and was worried that not only would grace twist but also MC and I do think he's genuine about that, we know from previous challenges Ozzy isn't the type of guy for one night stands etc, he's into meaningful relationships, I don't for one believe a single thing Marshall has said about Oz, I think Marshall has an ulterior motive and honestly his reaction to Amelia defending him has just kinda said it all really, she was the only one to bite and he used her to get into the main villa.

I do think from ozzys storyline he's genuinely there to find a connection, and as nearly all the characters have said if you follow the ozzy route and choose him for questions that they answer before leaving, it's been bubbling to the surface with him.

Dont get me wrong, he could have treated Grace better BUT, but now hear me out, in my playthrough grace has asked about Ozzy having feelings elsewhere and I said yeh he does, this girl has not believed it even though I haven't hidden it at all, like I've told you I like him and he likes me WHY ARE YOU PRESSED? and I'm not gonna lie I do feel her reaction was uncalled for during movie night as sis also been cracking on aswell, she cracked on w elliot (or tried too atleast) and hamish so really she's been no better than Oz. I think Grace's character is quite insecure and she's afraid she won't find another connection, instead of accepting that Ozzy isn't the one for her she's holding onto something that is doomed to fail honestly and has been since day 1.

I will defend ozzy until the day I die even if I'm the biggest clown doing so I adore his character honestly

Honestly, while I was playing, I was fuming that FB did us so dirty, but the longer I think about it, the more I can excuse his actions (hey, my name on the ff discord is literally Ozzy Apologist, I have to live up to that somehow).

We all know Ozzy can be a bit of a mess. He's had feelings for MC since the start and he's really struggled with how to handle that and stay respectful. Then we get to casa: MC's gone, he and Grace are rocky, and he can't even talk to either of them. Add in the postcards where he sees Grace and Hamish all over eachother and something to make him doubt MC and it's no wonder he was upset.

Honestly, the person I'm the most angry with is Jamal (or whoever is with Flo). Ozzy was in a really vunerable place and they just took advange of that and encouraged him to do something he regrets.

Now Grace.... I honestly don't even know what to say any more. I really want her to be happy, but with every week it becomes harder and harder to defend her. Babe, even if MC didn't return Ozzy's feelings, it's been obvious for a while that you two don't belong together. And don't even get me started on how hypocritical she was in today's episodes.

And I'm not even going to waste my breath on Marshall, his opinions are so irrelevant to me.

Every week that goes by I go through a cycle: I get giddy when he says anything sweet, then annoyed when he and Grace try to play perfect couple, then upset when I have to tweak the outline for my Ozzy villa fic, and then I end up running right back into his arms.

So you're not alone, anon. We'll get through this together and come out the other side with our man by our side.

If you don’t mind, I’d like to hear some of your head canons for Zanzo and Chai and how’d they be together. I really love the art you make of those two, some good fucking food lol 👌

holy crap thank you! i was a bit worried i was spamming them LOL i dont mind talking about them at all! apologies in advance if its not worded the best/a bit scattered!

honestly a lot of it is "theres potential here, i like their chemistry", but theyre also both big dorks in their own right

im gonna ramble below of some ideas/headcanons i have for them:

kinda barebones atm but one is an AU/canon divergence with zanzo's whole fight after he gets defunded (we shouldve had a proper boss fight), which is basically "what if they convinced him to help fight against kale" (since he doesnt seem to really hold an attachment to spectra or the company? just does whatever he wants; chaotic neutral) and with that was the promise of studying chai, since he wanted to learn more about his enhancements and cause hes got nothing else to lose at that point he agrees (basically no one is happy about this but its better than nothing). hed also be interested in 808's and her connection to chai

this version of him is what im calling the Defunded! version (hair down/wires tied back; ngl it started off cause i thought it looked cool and i suck at drawing mohawks LMAO)

chai seems to be genuinely impressed with technology (ex: ar labs), and since zanzo likes being the smartest person in the room, he creates things to show off. i like to think that he would eventually make an attempt at creating upgrades for his arm, to push chai and his potential to the limit

zanzo also holds some respect for chai, as hes the only boss to not refer to him as a defect. examining chai would also help himself be able to build stronger robots, and to give him inspiration for new ones since chai is unique in how he functions. he tests them on chai and claims its "training" for him.

if given the chance i think the two would have some pretty good banter, they both seem to humor eachother without the other getting frustrated. they also both have brat energy and would definitely sass eachother on the most mundane things

i also love the whole "one person is interested in another one for 'buisness' reasons, ends up getting attached" trope which i feel fits these two pretty well. zanzo doesnt like people messing with his experiments/test subjects and would see chai as his and be very possessive

chais core changes rhythm depending on his emotional state, which zanzo then experiments to find out what causes the bpm change, much to chais embarrassment

definitely would take them awhile to realize "hey i kinda like them more than i should" and with that comes panic and denial. slowburn status

chai gets flustered easily, and is horrible at hiding it. zanzo i see him not being completely aware that his actions can come off flirty, but when hes by himself and/or realizes he overthinks and becomes a mess. they are both disasters.

chai seems to have a lot of self worth issues, which i think zanzo also shares to some degree? chai acts like he knows what hes doing when he really doesnt and is more insecure; and zanzo seems to want people to actually take him seriously and acts smarter than he really is. they both hide behind an outgoing persona. would they ever let their guard down and show that side of them? who knows :]

chai likes watching zanzo work on his robots, not understanding anything hes being told but liking the passion the other has for his work. chai would also mess with him given the chance, nothing actually damaging though.

since chai never got that gift basket, maybe zanzo would make him one as a confession

Tommy- Wildpaw (Wildheart)

Thunderclan

-Struggled the most with his name ngl

-He's an unruly new apprentice who went through multiple mentors and never fully connected with any of them, until he met the other traveling cats who "got him" a bit more. Especially Sootsong because i'm a weak person.

-Also considering having Wildpaw want to change clans to be mentored by Sootsong, plus he made windclan life as a runner sound so amazing to wildpaw

-Got the name "wild" because he was unmanageable, gets the name "heart" as a sort of 'look how much you've grown!' after the journey

-definitely the most excited initially to go on the journey, but 100% acts like an absolute shithead for the majority of it. This guy will not SHUSH

-Tubbo as his littermate maybe?? I could go with Beepaw for him, but I also like Strongpaw. I'll think abt it

-Thinks Boarblade is so incredibly cool and will not leave the poor guy alone

-Him and Sootsong find eachother really enjoying their company. They go back and forth trying to make eachother laugh

Wilbur- Sootsong

Windclan

-Sootsong, Boarblade, and Crowtalon all knew eachother previously from gatherings and such, and are on amicable enough terms. Never stopped them from getting into it during battles though

-This dude has a thousand-yard stare. He looks at you like 0_0 and you think he's reading your mind. He really is just thinking about a strange tree he saw earlier and if it has ghosts in it

-Sings for the other three traveling cats quite a bit. They enjoy it. Especially Wildpaw who is just a fanboy and a half

-Very spiritually connected to Primeclan. Was encouraged to be a medicine cat apprentice but turned it down. He wants to become leader one day, but to do that he needs an apprentice. His leader does not trust him with the responsibility, out of a reasonable fear of Sootsong just completely starting an uprising with whatever poor sap becomes his apprentice. If Wildpaw comes to windclan after the journey the leader kinda has to begrudingly give him to Sootsong

-Really loves just saying weird shit to mess with Boarblade and Crowtalon, and was absolutely delighted when Wildpaw overzealously 'yes and'd' him for the first time. Crowtalon was just kinda like "Oh great, there's another one now."

Techno- Boarblade

Riverclan

-I tried so hard to not just call him Technoblade. I could have. Nothing was stopping me.

-Angsty anime tragic backstory, it's so horrible I can't even say trust me, just imagine the most worst thing ever

-Definitely the least enthusiastic to have to be forced to spend time with three strangers. Too much socialization, thank you very much. Was relieved when he saw Crowtalon there at the first nighttime meeting, at least someone sensible was coming. That relief disappeared when he saw Wildpaw strutting in. Oh no.

-Fond of wildpaw no matter what he tells himself.

-Catches the other three off guard when he first starts joking with them, they quickly discover he's insanely witty and funny, while previously they thought he was kindof just a fighter.

-They assumed Primeclan sent him as the muscle, but no, he is absolutely the brains. Most of the time.

-When they finally crack his shell they discover that he is fully capable of being a little shit just like the rest, and they are absolutely delighted.

-Poor wildpaw gets bullied so much (affectionate)

-He stays up later then the others, especially when he's not on watch duty. One night, when Crowtalon was on watch, he looked over and saw Sootsong curled around an awkwardly sprawled out Wildpaw, and he felt an unfamiliar pang in his chest. He wondered how they could get so close to eachother when they knew all four of them would go their seperate ways eventually. Crowtalon found him awake, and they ended up talking. Having meaningful conversations and all that. The next morning all four cats woke up in a fluffy pile together.

Phil- Crowtalon

Shadowclan

-Highly respected warrior, known for his clever battle tactics, always narrowly avoiding defeat

-Oldest brother/father figure of the group. Obviously.

-The other three all kinda put him on a pedestal, (especially Sootsong) they see him as this perfect, kind, powerful warrior. Crowtalon sees how messed up they are and feels like he has to be that perfect cat for them.

-Over time that facade breaks down and they start to see Crowtalon as he is, kind and strong yes, but also mischievous and witty.

-With both as forest cats, Crowtalon and Wildpaw love to run through the trees together. Crowtalon tells him that his greatest fantasy is to fly one day. Just fly, and never have to look back or worry about anything ever again.

-He has a cat wife (kristen) named Arrowstrike back in his clan, and he misses her every day on the journey and talks about her to the other three frequently. They all express that they'd like to get to know her too.

I was googling around bc I was looking for a particular fanfic and I found like three seperate reddit posts being like "uhm Why do people ship Sebastian and Ciel" and ??? Okay, listen, I realize that reddit is very different from tumblr especially in the way they talk and think about ships there but cmon. Come on. You cant find any reason why anyone would ship them? Like, I used to ship them in the past so maybe Im just more capable of empathizing with the Sebaciel girlies, it takes one to know one and all that but. Ughh idk man. I know this mostly stems from people being like "oguhgohugogu how could you POSSIBLY ship something with an AGE GAP like THAT" and, i dont know how to tell them that that some people just dont care about that. I do and it makes me a bit uncomfortable ngl but Im not gonna sit here and pretend like these two dont get a ton of moments that your average romantic ship enthusiast would kill for yknow

I mean come on. Sebastian will just carry Ciel around bridal style literally all the time and Ciel basically never complains unless someone points it out. The bit where Sebastian teaches Ciel the waltz. The Corset Scene. This doesnt have that much to do with their actual relationship, but Sebastian regularly takes on the role of Ciels teacher and a lot people have a bit of a kink for that. That moment towards the end of the circus arc where theres liquid trailing out of Ciels mouth bc he just vomited and hes panting and shit and Sebastian is grabbing and/or caressing his face being like "call my name~". That part where Sebastian gives him his ring back immediately followed by Ciel asking him to stay with him until he falls asleep. You know whats really popular right now, especially online? Couples where they like, love each other obviously but they also bicker and banter and LoWkEy HaTe EaChOtHeR UwU. yea. And thats all just the obvious palatable stuff I could come up with off the top of my head, dont even get me started on the sensuality in wanting to eat another persons soul

I dont really know what my point with this is tbh. I guess it was just me kinda ranting a little bc its annoying to me that some people cant see why Sebaciel was literally the most popular ship in the fandom even though its incredibly obvious if youve been on the fandom side of the internet for more than a month yknow. And again, I dont ship them either I just like, have eyes and some knowledge on what people on the internet like to ship. My personal opinion on Sebastian and Ciels relationship is that in order to actually properly assess it, you cant really put it in any of these boxes of romantic, platonic, familial because its more complicated than that and its more interesting and fun to just analyze them without putting labels like that on their realtionship (at least for me)

It honestly kinda fell into our lap in a way. I’m bisexual. My husband and I had been a monogamous couple since 14 and 15 ( over 20 years now) We basically grew up together and changed a lot as we got older and so did our love languages, which led to occasional stupid nothing fights because we weren’t meeting eachothers needs like we used to. I’m ngl the word divorce was thrown around as a solution but neither of us could bare the thought we still loved eachother and still wanted our family and our happily ever after and nothing was actually “wrong” in our marriage. But my husband was honest and said he couldn’t help but wonder if there someone else out there for each of us that could we’d be happier with but he didn’t wanna lose me only to find out there wasn’t. And he brought up the idea of an open marriage to fill the gaps in our needs.It was an emotional time and emotional decision having been together monogamously so long and being eachothers one and only sexual partner but we agreed to it. The original plan was to be “don’t ask don’t tell” and our rules were were were both allowed to be open but no dating apps and no sleeping around. So basically it had to happen naturally and be more than just sex. … Fast forward to my husband ends up dating a girl he met through a hobby of his. He was honest about being married and the situation and she was cool with it and had been part of open relationships in the past . He ended up showing her a pic of me and she said I was hot lol (I didn’t know about her at the time we were still doing don’t ask don’t tell) He realized we would probably get along really well and wanted us to meet but didn’t wanna break “don’t ask don’t tell” So he invited her over one night for hobby stuff under the guise of just being friends and I got to meet her and we really hit it off so he felt comfortable telling me they were dating and it really just took off naturally from there. With her it just works, she has the hobby thing in common with my husband, she has the neurodivergence and some music taste in common with me. She ticks his empty boxes and mine as well. Which means we’re both being fulfilled and are therefore much happier all around, no more nothing fights. Also Me and my husband don’t want anymore kids . She doesn’t have kids nor is she able to have them , so it just works. We’re also similar body type and looks so there’s no feelings of jealousy or competition or feelings of being better or less than eachother ect. I think the key is just really finding the perfect fit in an additional partner. Honestly if it wasn’t for her I’m not sure this would be going as smoothly. She really is the perfect fit for us! I’m always down and open to answer questions about it. Now someone tell me how tf I tell my mom?? Lol

Ngl, I've been fighting sadness lately.

It just seems like everything I'm trying to do is happening at max friction, if you know that feeling.

I thought I'd write out a journal of sorts, real quick. I'm trying really hard to keep track of things.

I got up today and wanted to play my six string in the chair swing, but I've had a broken G for months. I cannibalized a string from this fixer-upper 12 string I came into possession of, but not without putting that string through my thumb at least an inch :( pulling it back out was pretty gruesome... but I got my six strung and tuned (EADBBE for some reason)

Which sounded really pretty. I spent half an hour with my coffee and guitar and vape in the chair swing and it felt really therapeutic and refreshing.

My thumb hurts a little, but it was probably more gross than painful.

I have some trees and berry bushes to plant today so I dug four holes and took a break for breakfast. I had mushrooms and fried eggs, and now about half a gallon of water sounds pretty good.

I've been doing my mushroom grows without any grain for a while now, but I just started prepping some grain yesterday, and I'm trying a new fruiting block recipe... I'm giving it a go the way the professionals do it.

At some point I want to find a free and wild alternative to grain, here on my land, but I now know that I can do without and still reach the finish line.

I've noticed inky-caps popping up in my lasagna beds and compost, and today I realized they would be a great fit for a time lapse, since they seem to fruit and then melt, so quickly, so I'm trying to get a culture of those. They seem to be thriving in wet dirty straw, so I'm thinking/hoping they'll be easy to grow.

I put some stem butts into a container of damp straw and I plan on collecting some of their *ink* for the petri dish.

I'm watching my radishes and kale and beans and zucchini as they get closer to harvest. Seems like the beans are flowering prematurely, so thats probably not good.

The state's dept of conservation raises native plants and trees and lets people order them really cheap, so I went in on an order with the neighbors and I've planted a lot of berries, and cherry, plum, persimmon, and now cottonwood trees, plus apples I've started from seed.

I made a slurry of leftover material from the chicken of the woods that didn't go into the freezer, and used that to inocculate a couple dead trees I pushed over in early spring. I drilled holes into the wood, filled them up and capped them with wet clay that I collected while digging all these holes. I also have good healthy cultures going in petri dishes and containers.

We have cottontail rabbits here, and every evening when I go to close the chickens up, this rabbit and I startle eachother.. I get within like 6 foot of it and it takes off, and its kinda funny.

I guess thats all for now.

I'm gonna keep putting effort and positive energy in, even though I'm feeling discouraged.

Idt winter truly knows that Alice faked everything and her true motives. But I think she has some clues that she's more dangerous than milo, like in the flashback when alice said she sympathises with the monsters that hurt people. From winter's perspective she thinks Alice is on some revenge against the family bc they thought she's incapable, which would make sense bc that's how she thinks Alice is. But all this time Alice WAS capable and views the moriartys incapable for losing to ron. But here's the thing, she herself kinda lost to ron too bc she got caught. Ngl I already hate her just bc of how she basically took advantage of winter's kindness. But those siblings fr should've talked to eachother more. Winter herself has no idea milo also didn't want to hurt Alice but he covered it up so well to become the head of the family. It's like they truly don't know eachother.

Also I wanted to put this in the other message too but now that you made a post about it WINTER DID INDEED SERVE SOME LOOKS IN THIS CHAPTER!! UGH why must she be so fine??? Winter ur hand in marriage I beg!! 🥺👉👈

You know what, you're probably right. I just went back and read the chapter without the Alice and Milo part, and I thought Ron told the World Detective Alliance more than what he actually did (like, for some reason, I remembered him telling them he got the info from Winter???? But he never said that????) So scratch what I said before and instead, I wonder how she would feel once she finds out about Alice faking?

I think the way you're looking at it is more correct than how I saw it. Lol, idk if I read it wrong, or if my brain went wild and I just remembered wrong.

I wonder if she let Ron catch her? There seemed to be too many clues of how she murdered the girls.

They, the siblings really don't talk to each other. They all just keep things to themselves. Winter is the only one who's been opening up and talking about what happened. I think she's even said she resents Milo because he killed "Alice" right?

Lol, I know! Uhhg, she's so hot!!!! She's the only wife I'd ever need, lol! On a side note, Alice is SUPER pretty, too! Not in the way that I'd fall for her like Winter, but she's just really gorgeous for a girl. Also, she's always smiling, so it throws you off! I picture her having that same sweet, innocent voice she would have as a kid, but her personality would definitely be different. I also like how you see all these animals around her, lol. Also, how loyal are monkeys? 🤔 Mini Goji went and comforted some of the students when they were scared, but I highly doubt Alice told the monkey to do that. I wonder if Mini Goji would ever betray Alice. 🤔🤔🤔

Ok so I didn’t log yesterday but that’s ok I mean all I did yesterday was go on my phone too much and revise for a mandarin oral that I fucked up today. I saw my friend on the train, nice surprise. He was with friends so I didn’t want to interrupt so I kinda just stood there. They were like “oh ur friend is here” I’ve only met them like once before and they reacted that way that time as well. I feel like he talks about me?? Not sure. I went to Blackpink with him, was easier to go w eachother. Literally the only other Blink I know. I think he stans Newjeans and Le Ssefarim now too. Anyway one of my friends knows him as that guy who also likes kpop so ... . But the thing is right I met him on the train bc he was in the same class as this guy I knew. Big coincidence bc he's my brother's friends brother. Anyways he's an icon. He only stans girl groups tho which is a bit sad. Ngl probably how he thinks about me bc BP is pretty much to only gg I *stan*.

What else happened yesterday... Idk. Literally nothing. This is why I write these I remember literally nothing. Oh wait I saw a squirrel corpse yesterday that was fun. I also discussed animal testing w my class and I'm the only person who thinks that it's ok because it literally saves lives.... Anyway that's a bit controversial for social media so. To say it was strange to see Wilbur Soot standing near a bar and drinking a glass full of blood-red wine would be a complete understatement.

(Y/n) had never spoken to him fully before, they more so made a lot of conversation they could build off of but neither decided to go through with it. (Y/n) hung around Alex, George, Sapnap and Karl more so than the rest of the SMP.

Hence why she was forced to go to this god forbidden ball.

She sat at a stool near the corner of the huge ballroom, her body wrapped in a tight and mildly uncomfortable maroon coloured dress.

'End me.' She thought mindlessly as she took another large swig of tequila, watching everyone dance around and laugh with eachother.

George, Sapnap and Karl weren't invited to the ball, she noted.

She had heard that they weren't on good terms with Quackity as of late, and he was the one who threw this ball.

She may have been lonely at this ball, but she felt as though eyes were on her at all times. It was weird. Very weird.

Every once in a while, her eyes would land on Wilbur's tall form. He seemed lonely as well, a bored and unamused expression on his stitched face.

His eyes were kept still on Tommy who was dancing around with Tubbo and Ranboo, who both had large grins on their faces.

(Y/n) found it cute that even after dying and coming back, Wilbur still held a sort of fondness towards Tommy.

She doesn't blame him, Tommy was a good kid.

A kid that's been through too much.

The girl frowned deeply and took another shot of tequila. And just like that, the eyes were on her again. Her eyes shot from her tequila that she was swirling to Wilbur, eyes widening slightly when they met with his harsh brown eyes.

He kept eye contact, eyebrows raising slightly at her in interest before he sent her a small smile, a fake one. (Y/n) could tell it was fake from a mile away. It was one of those smiles that you give strangers as they walk passed you on a sidewalk.

Huffing out a condescending chuckle, the girl rolled her eyes at him and shook her head, drinking the last of her tequila and went back to watching everyone dance.

The action clearly stirred more curosity within him, because all of a sudden he felt himself walk over to her with a wine bottle in hand and two wine glasses in the other.

(Y/n) was snapped from her daze when she heard someone clear their throat from beside her. Her head snapped up and met with his dead-cold eyes again.

There was silence before she spoke up, her tone sharp yet inviting," Can I help you, sir?" She spoke mockingly, eyebrow raised.

Eyes swirling with amusment, the man tilted his head to the side, his white tuft of hair following with the motion along with the rest of his curly, brown locks." Mind if I sit here, ma'am?" He replied with a smiliar mocking undertone to his voice.

Clicking her tongue a little, she nodded her head to the chair on her left lazily," Knock yourself out." She droned out, frowning at the sight of her empty glass.

She was too lazy to go to the bar.

'Guess I'll die.' She thought.

"You a wine girl?" Wilbur hummed out curiously, hoping to God she'd say yes otherwise he brought another glass over for no reason and probably looked like a dumbass now-

"I'm an,' anything with alcohol in it' kind of girl." She reassured him.

'Thank fuck.' He hid his relief with sly smile," Ah, a woman after my own heart." He flirted, pouring out a glass of wine for both her and him.

She 'tched' and took the glass," You have a heart? Pfft." She grumbled, taking a long sip of the wine. The wine burned at the back of her throat before bursting into a wonderful grape flavour mixed with cherry." Mm.. Good wine."

"Very good wine." Wilbur nodded in agreement, a content look on his face.

A comfortble silence sat between them and they both decided to enjoy their wine in peace.

(Y/n) watched as Eret and Fundy joined in with Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo. They looked like good friends dancing together. Reminded the girl of how her friendship was with George, Sapnap, Karl and Alex.

Now? It's just her.

She tried to keep the friendship from falling apart, but then Kinoko Kingdom happened and everything went to utter shit.

Las Nevadas, it was wonderful. Paradise. But it wasn't for (Y/n).

So when Quackity had asked if she wanted to join him, she refused respectfully but still said she was willing to help him with whatever he needed at all.

He was flattered, but disappointed at how she had decided against joining Las Nevadas.

She always wonders how her life would've turned out if she had accepted the invite.

"You want to dance?" The question was sudden.

When she looked up at him to see if he was joking, she was surprised to see how serious yet calm his expression was.

Raising an eyebrow, she swirled the wine in her glass and crossed her legs over one another," I'm not very good at dancing."

"And you think I am?"

She gave him a confused look," Aren't you? You look like the kinda guy that would be brilliant at ballroom dancing." She hummed out.

He chuckled raspily, eyes soft," I'm flattered, but trust me, I'm no better at dancing than Tommy." He assured her.

She looked him up and down, unconvinced before she sighed a little, giving in. She was too tired to argue at this point.

She stood up from her chair abruptly, even surprising Wilbur at the fact she had agreed. Giving him a stern yet soft look, she nodded," Let's dance then, Frankenstein."

Then she made her way to the dance floor, making Wilbur scramble from his chair with an eager grin.

They stood facing eachother before Wilbur held his hand to her, a grin tilting onto his lips," May I compliment you on your appearance this evening? You are among the brightest of flowers." He spoke with suave.

The girl blushed and she took his hand quickly, squeezing it a little." No need to flatter me, Wilbur. I am very well aware my dress is rather ugly this evening." She grumbled out grouchily.

He stared directly into her eyes,"Your dress? I hadn't noticed it." He said smoothly, his eyes never left hers," I'm sure it looks amazing on you."

The music began, saving (Y/n) from having to answer. The hand on her waist was firm and soft, almost like it was keeping her safe.

They stepped in line with eachother, (Y/n) messed up every once in a while and managed to step on her own feet and Wilbur's the first couple of minutes before she finally got into the swing of things.

Glaring up at him, she pouted," You liar."

He grinned cheekily at her," Hm? I don't believe I know what you're talking about."

" Whatever you say, Mr. I'm worse than Tommy at dancing." She rolled her eyes.

"I never said I was worse than him. Honestly, anyone can be better than him at dancing. Let's face it."

For the first time that whole night, a small and genuine smile broke out across the girl's lips. Wilbur was enamoured by how her whole face lit up just by the slight tilt of her lips.

She looked beautiful.

"Leave Tommy alone, the kid tries his best." She smiled out.

"He does." He nodded earnestly, a little smile on his lips," I don't deserve him."

"You don't." (Y/n) spoke rather bluntly, but she still had a soft smile on her lips as she spoke her next words," but as much as he doesn't want to admit it, the kid needs you a lot. You're his big brother." She looked at the blonde-haired teen who was laughing at Ranboo who had spilled juice over Tubbo by accident. Her smile widened and her eyes were warm,"... you might just be the luckiest man in the world."

His breath was stolen from him at her words, and he couldnt help but agree with her due to the current circumstances.".... yeah... you could say that."

He held her closer to him by the waist, holding her other hand tightly and securly." So... Where did you learn to dance, Frankenstein?" She teased him, eyes bright with mischief.

A little laugh slipped through his lips," is this the nickname you'll be sticking to now?"

"You know it."

"Oh, great." He sighed out half-disappointedly before he decided to answer her question." When I was younger, my mother used to give me a lot of dance lessons with Technoblade. I requested them because I wanted to learn how to dance for this mermaid girl I had come to befriend."

"Oooh~" the girl raised her eyebrows suggestively," You're pretty romantic when you want to be, you know that?"

He shrugged, cheeks tinted a light pink that was barely noticable," the first time I'm hearing this." He admitted.

"Well... Frankenstein, you're pretty goddamn romantic when you want to be."

He grinned slyly," so you find me romantic, huh? Is that a sign for anything in particular, orrr?..."

The girl snorted a little," Hm? I don't believe I know what you're talking about." She repeated his own words.

He laughed," Touché, touché. You win this round."

Soon, the dance came to an end and the two were left still in eachother's arms, staring at eachother with enamoured looks on their faces.

Then the girl smiled at him," it wouldn't be bold of me to ask for another dance... Would it?" She requested, hope swirling in her gemstone-like irises.

"Not at all," A genuinely happy and charmed grin curled on his lips at her words and he held her body still," thought you would never ask, (Y/n)."

(Y/n) hadn't intended to be attending Quackity's party, in fact, she wasn't supposed to be attending.

She wasnt invited.

Supposing this is what she gets for not going along with Alex's whole 'Las Nevadas' gig. She prompted to stay with her friends in Kinoko Kingdom instead, thinking that Quackity wouldve done the same.

But she thought wrong.

So, so incredibly wrong.

You see, have you ever felt the feeling whenever you grow so incredibly close to someone to the point where you think you know them better than anyone else? That's how (Y/n) had felt with Alex. She was so sure that he wouldve chosen her and his friends over some nation that seemed to be setting itself up as a land of secrets and mystery.

From what she's heard, Quackity only grew all the more mysterious and distant.

He was so distant.

(Y/n) couldnt remember the last time she had seen him. The last time she's had a decent conversation.

The last time her heart fluttered around him.

She missed him, truly she did. Sometimes she debated abandoning Kinoko Kingdom in favour of running into Alex's oh-so-welcoming arms.

But her morals told her otherwise. She chose, for once in her life, to not follow her heart. But now, here she was, completely going against what her close friends had told her not to do.

She was being drawn to him again.

Using her heart to make important decisions.

And as she opened the large doors to the ballroom, all time seemed to freeze around her. Eyes shot towards her in curiosity, some with joy at being able to see her again and some with malice.

Alex was no different to the latter.

As soon as his dark eyes had met with her ethereal gemstone-like ones, he felt a buzz of electricity travel up his spine.

He couldnt diferientiate between the feeling of anger and slight awe at her beauty.

The girl fumbled with her fingers awkwardly before she sent him a shy wave, her smile soft-yet panicked as her eyes scanned over his new features.

He looked so different.

And she couldn't tell if it was the good kind of different or not.

At her shy wave, Alex cleared his throat and nodded respectfully as a goodbye to who he was talking to, which thankfully was Sam, and then he began making his way over to (Y/n).

A scowl curled onto his lips, his eyes darker than ever.

The eyes that made her feel warm and safe now froze her down to her very core.

When he was right up to her face, standing in front of her, that's when she knew--

This wasn't the Alex she had fallen in love with.

"What the hell are you doing here..." he muttered lowly to her, he grabbed her bare arm tightly- but it wasnt tight enough to hurt her, surprisingly. Then he dragged her to the exit, shoving her rather roughly outside, shitting the door behind him.

"We-well I-... If I-I'm being completely honest, I didnt exactly have a plan to come here, I just really wanted to see y-" he interrupted her.

"You didnt have a plan?? (Y/n)-- What the actual fuck makes you think I'd ever want you here?!" He was furious, eyes burning a bright fire, a fire even Sapnap couldnt withstand. " I actually cant believe you thought coming here would be a good idea. Are you actually as dumb as you were when we were still talking to eachother? You havent fucking changed."

She flinched at his harsh words but she covered up how hurt she was," Well- if you would let me explain myself, then maybe you'd understand why I'm here."

The casino owner took off his beanie, running a hand through his messy raven locks in frustration before he settled the hat back on his head," Make this damn quick. Because, in case you havent noticed, I have guests to entertain."

Gulping, the girl but her lip nervously out of habit," I know... I know I'm the last person you want to see. I know you hate my guts. But... Alex, I genuinely miss you." She spoke sincerely, eyes glassy beneath the moonlight," when I heard you were throwing this party... I couldnt help myself. I needed to see you... to hear you... to talk. God-- Just listening to you makes me so happy already." Her lip trembled," So please... let me hear you... let me see you. I'm begging... can we please talk?"

Brushing off the rush of heat that crossed his tanned cheeks, Alex looked away from her stubbornly.

He didnt want to give in easily.

But when it came to her, he was always put under a spell.

"Lo que sea.... fine." He sighed out, running a hand over his face in irritation, wincing whenever his fingers brushed over his scar." Come sit over here." He gestured to a bench that sat next to a long river that went off into the ocean, the moon reflected off of the clear water as did the stars.

The two sat next to eachother, the gap between them representing how distant they are from eachother.

"So? Talk." He prompted her, leaning back into the bench rather lazily, looking up at the sky.

Cheeks warming with happiness, she couldnt help but smile at finally being able to talk to him after so long," Thank you so much... I've been wanting to talk to you for so long after everything that happen-... What happened to your eye?" She whispered, suddenly noticing the long scar that ran over his eye and eyelid and then down to his lips.

"Oh yeah- you werent here for that," he jabbed at her," This was all Techno's doing." He gestured all over." Sorry that I'm not the perfect guy that you used to be friends with anymore."

She knew he wasnt sorry.

In fact, she knew that with his new self, he was a lot more confident.

Free.

She liked that.

Smiling at him, she shook her head," dont be silly. If this change makes you happy, then I'm happy."

His heart thumped harshly, making him clear his throat to cover up the noise in case she had heard his loud heart.

"I was just worried but... it looks kind of good on you-- err... not in a weird way or anything." She tried to cover up her slip-up," Anyways... that's not what I came here to talk abou-"

"Do you wanna dance?"

The girl's eyes widened at the sudden suggestion, gazing over Alex's features with shock. His tanned cheeks were red and he was avoiding all eye contact, eyebrows furrowed.

"... come again?" She stuttered out, her throat felt like it was closing up.

He scoffed and rolled his eyes," I asked if you wanted to dance."

The girl's heart did flips in her ribcage as her eyes fluttered,"I-... I would love to." She nodded, wobbly smile on her painted lips.

The man stood from the bench and held a hand out to her, trying his best to not smile when she eagerly grabbed it, stars in her eyes.

He moved her soft hand to his neck, making it rest there, (Y/n) then moved her other arm to wrap around his neck as well. Alex then settled his calloused hands on her pretty waist, pulling her body close to him.

He was afraid she would slip away from him again.

In truth, he had missed a hell of a lot as well, maybe even more so than she missed him.

He always debated visiting her or arranging to meet up with her, but his plans always got in the way and blurred his desire for her.

But seeing her tonight, all dressed up for him, it made him want to fall in love with her all over again.

The two swung side to side, the faint music from the ballroom guiding the two of them. Quackity rested his chin on top of her head as the girl turned her head to the side, resting her ear against his chest and listening to his thumping heartbeat.

"You look amazing." He muttered to her.

"You too... well... yeah, no you look amazing."

He chuckled lightly," why'd you hesitate?"

"Well... I wanted to think of a better word for amazing but my heart is beating too loudly for me to think properly..." she admitted.

At her heartfelt confession, Alex felt himself smile warmly for once in a long time.

He felt like a teenager in love again.

"Yeah... I feel that too." He muttered, inhaling the scent of her vanilla shampoo, biting off the dreamy sigh that threatened to spill from his lips." (Y/n)... why didnt you join me? "

The dreaded question.

"If I'm being honest... I thought you wouldve joined Kinoko Kingdom with me."

Quackity's heart clenched at the thought.

So she felt just as betrayed as he did, that makes sense to him now.

"I debated going to join Las Nevadas everyday, but I knew that meant leaving George, Sap and Karl and I felt so conflicted and just... horrible." She mumbled, feeling her eyes beginning to water," It was hard, Alex.... I wanted to see you so so bad... But I also wanted to be a good friend... I felt like I was the bad guy either way, and I just wanted to make both parties happy.... I hated being away from you... God... I hated it so much." She sniffled, making Alex pull her closer to him," seeing you now... you dont understand how happy it makes me feel..."

The man sighed a little and kissed leaned away from her, cupping her cheek and then moving it so she was face him. He tilted her head up a little so he could see her teary eyes, feeling his heart call out to her to comfort her.

He ran a thumb over her cheek, wiping away the mascara and tears and when she blinked up at him innocently, he couldnt stop himself from smiling down at her reassuringly.

"I wanted to see you so much as well... I felt my heart ache every night to see you..." he began, pressing his forehead against hers," I'm sorry for treating you like shit... you deserve so much damn better... (Y/n), I'm begging. Please stay with me, will you?"

Her breath hitched.

"Stay by my side... please?"

Her heart stopped.

"I want to be with you all the time."

Her tears stopped falling.

"I love you."

And she smiled, wider than she ever has.

"I've been waiting so long to hear that..." She whispered to him," I love you too, Alex."

He grinned down at her crookedly," Deadass?"

"On god."

"Fuck- I'm not dreaming, right?" He then had a mischievous glint twinkle in his dark eyes," Maybe you should kiss me to seal the deal?"

She snorted," you're asking me to initiate it? Dont you think you're moving a bit fast, lover boy?"

"I think you're moving too slow and that you talk too much." He stated simply before he leaned down, capturing her soft lips in a messy kiss, their lips molding together as soon as they came in contact.

It's the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world.

His hands flattened against her back... and she was up on the tips of her toes, kissing him as fiercely as he was kissing her... He clung to her more tightly, knotting his hands in her hair, trying to tell her, with the press of his mouth on hers, all the things he could never say out loud...

And as her lips rubbed against his chapped ones, she knew her life was set with his, nobody else.

𝐘𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐉𝐔𝐍, tbh I don’t really think he noticed it at first. Only because sometimes you do just call him by his name instead of ‘babe’ or ‘baby’ (or any other nickname). BUT. If you were to call him by his English name… Erm, he’d be somewhat concerned 💀.

You and Yeonjun lied on the couch, cuddling eachother for most of the day. His head was rested on your chest, as he watched the action movie that played on the television. You scrolled through your phone, reading emails and other things. Since you both were there for a while, you eventually felt yourself getting thirsty. Then, an idea popped in your head. “Hey, Daniel? Can you get me a water, please?” Yeonjun’s head popped up so fast, he almost hit you right in the chin. “Who?”

“You? Daniel?”

“Why are you-? No.” Then, he proceeds to put all of us weight on you, so you couldn’t get up 💀. Of course he didn’t do it in a harmful way. But he didn’t let you get up until you called him ‘baby’.

𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐍, He would definitely freak out a little bit, ngl. Usually, the only time you really call him by his name is when it’s something serious, but this time it just kinda slipped out. You weren’t really thinking, so you just called his name. He’s literally gonna constantly ask like ‘are you okay’ ‘did I do something wrong’ ‘am I in trouble’. Overall, a very worried bb.

Tonight was a night that you actually felt like cooking, so you cooked Soobin’s favorite dish. Not thinking, you thought you had everything, but you forgot one of the seasonings. “Soobin, can you hand me the garlic, please?” Lifting his head from the laptop, he furrows his eyebrows. “Soobin? Am I in trouble?”

You laugh at his worrying, “No, that’s your name.” He still questions your choice of saying his first name instead of ‘babe’. “Are you sure?” Laughing harder now, you respond, “Yes, now can I please have the garlic?”

𝐁𝐄𝐎𝐌𝐆𝐘𝐔, He will pout. I’m telling you right now, boy will sit there and sulk for the rest of the day. I feel like Beomgyu is the type to have a billion nicknames for his s/o 😭. But first names are not on his list. He’d rather be babied and get called all these corny, but cute endearment. So, when you call him by his first name, expect him to throw a fit LMAO.

You lied in bed while Beomgyu played with your cat, Luna. You scrolled through your phone, trying to find dinner options but nothing was helping. “Beomgyu, what do you want to eat tonight?” Snapping his head in you direction, his eyes wide. “BEOMGYU?! That’s not my name!”

“Then.. What is your name?”

“It’s baby!!! Or Beom Cakes.. or Gyuie.. or- Whatever, it’s not Beomgyu!”

𝐓𝐀𝐄𝐇𝐘𝐔𝐍, lowkey confused asf. Like, oh, we go by government now? 🤨 Just to frustrate you, he’ll probably start calling you by your first name until you call him ‘baby’ or something. He only likes when you call him one of his nicknames, so like Soobin, the only time you’ll use first names, is if it’s something serious.

Looking in the refrigerator, you noticed there was nothing really appetizing. “Taehyun, what happened to all the good stuff in here?” He stopped in his tracks, trying to think if he heard right. He rolled his eyes, two can play this game. “I don’t know, Y/n. Did we eat all of it?”

Snapping your neck around, you stared at him in surprise. “Taehyun, stop.” He tilted his head, pretending to be confused. “Stop what, Y/n?” Your hands flew to your ears, covering them as if the sound of your name was a tiger’s claw to a chalkboard. “That! T-The name thing, don’t do that..”

“You started it.”

𝐇𝐔𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐀𝐈, will straight up ignore you. There’s a rule between you two, no first names LMAO. It’s not that he doesn’t like his name, he just feels like since you two are together, you should call eachother names of love. (Did that make sense?). So if you so much as say “Kai”, he will keep doing whatever he is doing and act like you’re not even there, pfft.

“Kai, where’s Kwang’s leash? I swear I put it.. Kai!” Still looking at his laptop screen, he continued scrolling. “Kai, do you hear me?” You checked his ear for earbuds. He could hear perfectly fine. “Huening Kai.”

Still scrolling. “Baby! Answer me.” You began to get annoyed. Then, he turned around with an innocent smile, “Yes, pumpkin?”
