The Curse of Silva

So... Something that ran through my mind i guess.

💗✨love and sparkles ✨💗

Noelle would love to say that her Mother was the only cursed one. She would. She really would.

But she couldn't.

She could still hear her in her sleep. "No living Silva will escape my wrath!", she'd about out. A few moments later she'd wake up gasping, covered in her own sweat the moment Nebra would burst through her door, tear streaks staining her cheeks like cuts.

Sometimes she would black out, Vanica's words spinning around her head like a broken toy train. "Your Magic will be your end. Just wait and see, young Silva!"

Noelle feared for her siblings. Nozel, Nebra and Solid were too far beyond saving.

Her eldest brother was slowly dying. He could throw up, but all he'd see was silver. He could cry, but all he'd see was steel. He could bleed, but all he'd see was mercury, the deadly toxin that now ran through his veins, pumping from a poisoned heart.

Her other brother barely ate anything. Solid never had an appetite. His stomach was always filled to the brim with water, refilling every once in a while. When he was full, he'd throw up. He couldn't do much physical activity ether. For when the time came for him to catch his breath, his lungs would have filled with water again, risking his life.

And Nebra... Oh, Nebra. Her sister. She always palmed things while entering a room, and looked at everything with such desinterest one would even think she was only an arrogant princess. Only if they knew, that Nebra's eyes were blind. Her mist was completely overpowering her sense of sight, leaving her in a lost mess.

Nozel, the Mercury mage, feared poison.

Solid, the Water mage, feared drowning.

Nebra, the Mist mage, feared foggy days.

Noelle's curse, however, was to watch. Watch as her siblings got distroyed from their inside out. With the magic that was once theirs.

<<Was this what Nozel felt? To feel useless while your loved ones die around you?>> She asked herself. She felt the sensation of the arms around her tighter, as if noticing her distress.

Nozel's heart might be poisoned, but he was curing hers.

Solid might be sick, but he always had a bite to offer.

and Nebra might be blind, but she'd always have eyes for her only sister.

Noelle really loves her siblings. Oh, if only they had more time...

Yes, the Silva were productive... I am biased, obviously^^'

Nymphea and Valentina are twins, with Nymphea being the older one by three minutes. She is more like Nozel personality wise, while Valentina took more after Vanessa. They still got from the other parent, though.

It is a coincidence that they have the same initials as their parents... Nymphea and Valentina were also born on Valentine's Day^^'

Lavinia is the second child of Nozel and Vanessa, also very shy. She doesn't want to be a Magic Knight, finding more happiness in music and songs.

Cassandra was a surprise child, three years after Lavinia, but loved nonetheless. She is the wildest out of her sisters, if there is harshness in the Silva genpool, she got all of it. Cassandra also calls Yami uncle Dumpy.

Diego, Odette, Nebel and Zinnia are quadruplets. Which was a surprised to everyone. Diego and Zinnia are true wild pranksters, mini-versions of their parents, while Odette and Nebel are more calm, almost a miracle given who Nebra and Zora are.

Mathilda came many years later, as a surprise child. Nebra thought that she was done after giving birth to four babies at once, but she was very relieved that it was only one this time. Mathildas birth was also pretty fast, roughly twenty minutes.

The quadruplets are very protective of their baby sister, but baby Mathilda is going to be more a problem child than Diego, Zinnia and her parents together^^'

Eis is the first born of Solid and Rosette. He almost gave his parents and the midwives a scare because he didn't cried immediately when he was born.

Nanthilde is his sister, born four years later. Since she learned how to read, she had a soft spot for riddles and mysteries.

Both Eis and Nanthilde are very kind, like their mother. As much as their father was a brat in his youth, as much they are well-behaved. Solid is actually relieved they don't come too much after him personality wise.

Loreleï is the only daughter of Asta and Noelle. She was born a few days after Eis, which made them best friends since they were babies. Like her cousin Lavinia, she also doesn't want to become a Magic Knight, despite having her mother's amount of magic power.

Her brothers are much younger than her. Airgid is as wild as Asta with Noelles pride, a bit of a brat, but with a heart of of gold.

Nemo is the youngest, wild like his brother but kinder.

Fun fact, both Noelle and Asta were awful at giving names, even for their own children. Nozessa, Zobra and Sosette had to help them on that topic... which wasn't an easy task, but funny.

Nymphea has long silver hair like her father's, wavy like her mother's and Vanessas amethyst purple eyes, she has Silver magic. Valentina has the same eyes as her twin, but long straight hair like her grandmother, in a paler shade of Vanessas rosewood color, her magic is Tapestry. Lavinia has her mother's hair color, but the silky and thick structure of her father's (she wears them in two braids), she also has Nozels metallic lilac eyes, she got Vanessas Thread magic. Cassandra has silver hair, but very wild, a bit of mix of her parents and lavender purple eyes, her magic is Swords... given her wildness, it can be a stress factor for Nozel, one only Vanessa can calm him from.

Diego has his father strong red hair and also his deep blue eyes, looking like a mini-Zora, he has Spark magic. Odette has her mother's silver hair color, very wavy almost curly and like Diego, the eyes of her father, her magic is Cloud. Nebel's hair got a color mixed from his parents, with Nebra's gene a bit stronger, a pale pink, long and straight, his eyes are also a mix of his parents, a strong purple and like his name suggests, he got his mother's Mist magic. Zinnia has also pink hair, but unlike Nebel, her's are a stronger pink and are Wilde like Nebras, she also got her mother's magenta eyes, add to all of this Smoke magic. Mathilda has her father's red hair, pretty wild as well, and her mother's magenta eyes (a heavy contrast) and she got Water magic.

Eis has his mother's straight white blonde hair, which he wears short, his father blue eyes and like his name suggests, his magic is Ice. Nanthilde has curly hair, silver like Solid and Rosettes pale grey eyes (which got her the nickname Most Silver Silva), she got her mother's glass magic.

All of Astelle's children have water-based affinities (personal headcanon that Astas condition is not hereditary). Loreleï has her mother's straight long silver hair (unlike Noelle, she has her hair down most of the time) and her father's bright green eyes, her magic is Snow. Airgid has Astas wild ash blonde hair but wears it shoulder length and Noelles magenta eyes, he has Water magic like his mother. Nemo has silver hair but the same hairstyle like his father and also his mother's magenta eyes, his magic is Mist.

"One last Apology"

Summary: Nebra was sick, and went to apologise to Noelle before her death.

CW: death, angsty.

Noelle and Charmy were at a small boutique at Kikka, trying to get their minds off the other Bulls, carefully gazing at all the delicate dresses the shop had to offer. The bell of the shop's door clinged- signaling that someone had entered, as she got out of the small changing room.

The woman stood taller than she remembered.

Her hair had grown slightly, and she had a genuine smile on her lips, unlike the usual smirk she always wore. Her quartz eyes sparkled with love and regret, as she approached Noelle.

"Nebra"

Her sister offered a smile, one Noelle gladly accepted.

"Noelle, we... we have to talk." She stated, her voice filled with something Noelle couldn't quite place. Nebra led her outside, and sat her down on the end of the walk.

The streets were empty, nobody was around. The sun had set a few hours ago, and they all, including the bulls, had decided to go back to their homes. The walk they sat on was dimmly lit by a streetlight, its flame desperately trying to stay alight. The end of the walk was a bit wet, but Noelle sat down, and was surprised when Nebra did too.

"Listen Noelle... I-I had to talk to you. It's about... About me."

Noelle scoffed. Of course Nebra would want to talk about herself. She intended to get up, but her sister's iron grip was right on her wrist.

"I wanted to apologise. For everything." She took a deep breath. "I know I haven't been the best sister to you, but I needed to be in peace with you." She concluded.

Were Noelle's eyes tricking her? Or was Nebra crying... Was it a trick of the streetlight? It had to be.

But was it?

Noelle wanted to ask, but her sister swiftly got up nada made her way to the carriage the awaited at the other end of the street.

"Oh, and, Noelle?"

"Hm?"

"I love you, little sister" then, Nebra dissapeared in her carriage, travelling into the darkness of the night.

Nebra sat on her bed, in her nightgown. Nozel and Solid stood beside her, on the couch she had moved into her chambers. She felt lightheaded, and leaned her head on the pillow. Upon noticing this, Nozel and Solid quickly went to her side, holding her hands. They knew it was bound to happen.

If only they had more time...

Nebra paled more if posible, as her breathing slowly turned erratic.

"Brothers... I apologised." She said, a tear falling from her eye.

Nozel and Solid assured her they were proyd of her, no matter what. They wished for her to be okay. But that wouldn't happen.

"Mom... wait for me..."

Her breathing stopped.

Nozel and Solid broke down crying, as they realized they would never see their sister again.

Noelle suddently felt something. Something in the back of her head told her something was not right.

If only she had known that was the last time she would see her...

I don't sympathise with the Silva siblings because they are all grown ass adults and should know better.

It's one thing for them to be kids, coping with losing their mother and all these big complicated feelings.

And resenting Noelle for it.

But for them to be in their mid to late 20's and continously look at her like she is dirt.

Treat her like a stranger in her own home.

And berate and insult their little sister, yeah no I'm slapping a bitch.

The only one who has tried to change is Nozel.

Which is good, this is good.

But the fact he knew the true cause of Acier's death and still antagonised Noelle.

Makes it feel like none of this was ever about Acier's death.

Ya'll just wanted to use your sister as a scapegoat.

Yeah I'm aware Nozel couldn't tell anyone sbout the curse or that their was a curse, but that doesn't make this right.

I like Nozel but the fact Noelle had to work so hard to be acknowledged and seen as a person worthy of being loved.

Will never not sit right with me.

Hell, you guys are worse siblings to Noelle than Langris is to Finral.

And Langris almost killed him.

Hell Langris has the excuse of being pit against Finral their whole lives.

And Finral being disowned and keeping their distances from each other.

And the whole elf possession thing.

... And somehow they have a healthier sibling dynamic.

I swear if they find out the true cause of Acier's death and are like "Oh so it wasn't Noelle's fault."

Because it never was her fault.
