Lush paraphony.

Hey, it's been a minute. Things were busy, and some organizational things needed to be done. I performed another trade, getting rid of some desktop gear for Tete and Quadrax, both of which need some learning. Currently, my modules are split between a small learning skiff for those, and the main case which is currently exploring the "water wheel" feedback patch from a little while ago. Expect more from each of those flavors in the next little bit.

This patch is using 2 paraphonic voices from Three Body, sequenced by Tete's loopy mode - one PM voice through Ikarie (fun trick, using the modulation osc to audio-rate modulate spread of filter peaks) and Milky Way (which I also need to learn more in depth), and the other through Data Bender. Percussion is Bug Crack (O_C) and DFAM.

Loopy mode is a lot of fun. I love it to slowly tweak longer jams, and give my time to play DFAM more as well, but things are admittedly a little static here. Still, I wanted to commit this one to recording before tearing it down, since there are quite a few nice sounds coming out of Three Body.

okay so i was talking to @thetisming last night and decided tonight i was going to comb through the &juliet west end bootleg he sent me to find all the stimming i could. and i found a LOT. i also included timestamps for each example!

Maybe the fact that I whistle more than I talk? I don't think they'd expect the sheer amount I whistle, lol.

#it is often a vocal stim for me i can't always help it #i have a bad habit of whistling back to every tune or sound i can replicate #even the way someone might say something if it has a tune #i also doubly have a bad habit of whistling to music that i don't even know. guessing where the notes are going #weirdly enough ive gotten prettu good at harmonizing with songs i dont know as a result #weird but powerful feeling.

Small art dump of my babygirl Velkurpení. She's an eldritch god and is also very silly, and she has become a bit of a comfort character for me (despite the fact she's technically my own OC).

Also have a playlist I made for her because I'm proud of it.

To give a quick summary of the playlist, essentially she's just kindof out floating in the void, until she starts wondering about what other life exists. She finds Sornieth and reaches out to a few select dragons, who after a collective existential crisis, have an Arcane dragon send out a response. She comes in, and this little group becomes a bit of a cult devoted to worshiping her in return for her knowledge and experience existing since the dawn of time.

Velkurpení, as they've dubbed her, watches generation after generation of her little cult come and go, pondering how their lives go so fast, it's like they never existed at all. With each new generation though, they become less receptive to her. Less respectful. Finally, some of them insult her in a massive way, and Velkurpení is furious. In a fit of rage, she smites them all.

She realizes what she's done later, and she mourns.

At the end of it all, she's kindof faced her own sort of Lovecraftian horror. Her eyes have been opened to the tiny intricacies of the things that have happened around her, and she can't remove her knowledge and understanding of it, meaning she can't go back to the long chain of great existence she's used to. She is forever Changed and she must deal with that.

I've gotten a bit of art commissioned of her and I'm 🥺 I love it so much. I love seeing her in other people's styles and interpretations.

Also getting a lore commission from Disillusionist to better word all of her lore! I plan to create a nice formatted bio for her afterwards 😤

But ye !!!! She is my stupidly expensive little eldritch horror and I love her <3
