chan- think of how he is with lee know and seungmin sometimes. yeah. like when you’re sitting there like 😐😒, he’s squishing you and sticking his face in yours affectionately. you’re his baby. there are times when he respects your space but for the most part he’s all over you. most of the time he’s the protector but there have been a few times he’s seen your protective side and the pride he feels???? omg

lee know- omg he loves it sm. he already has the sunshine to his grumpy with some of the other boys. so you’re just like him. his fav thing though is when you get a burst of energy (zoomies) usually at the end of the day and you’re just goofing off with him. he LOVES to tease you. not rly the way chan does where it’s all cutesy but he just kinda pokes at you… physically and metaphorically. he just loves having someone he can chill with and really be himself.

changbin- so he likes to play that he’s this dark boy but he’s really a softie. he gets kinda nervous sometimes when you’re too quiet that he’s done something wrong but you do this thing where when you’re sitting together you take his hand and put it where you want affection at that moment. like you’ll just hold his hand or put his hand on your head and he just :> “oh so you do like me???”

hyunjin- he’s finally found someone as sassy as him. the funniest thing (for others really) is when something happens and you both kinda share the same look of confusion and disgust (judgement). everything is just really calm and lowkey with you, which he loves but then when you’re both alone you kinda bounce off the walls together.

han- beast boy x raven (gn) vibes. like he is an absolute SIMP for you. he thrives with a darker, kinda emo or goth partner. even if that’s not rly your aesthetic, he just likes having a partner that’s more lowkey to balance him out but whenever you do get your bursts of energy he always matches it and it’s kinda magical. you’re the one usually teasing him and it’s funny bc it’ll either fluster the hell out of him or like he didn’t even catch it. you 1000% become like a security blanket in human form for him.

felix- grumpy x sunshine. now, he’s not the type to poke fun at you or anything or tease you when you’re in your more quiet, grumpy moments. he just kinda sits there like the sunshine he is and loves you through it. damn, is he cute. he has you melting instantly but you obviously can’t show that. he loves to cuddle you even when you’re stiff as a board, unsure what to do with affection. felix also does this super 🫠🫠🫠 thing where he randomly tells you you’re pretty (✨gn✨) AND ITS ALWAYS WITH THE CUTEST FACE SCRUNCH and then gives you a little peck leaving you like 🧍🏻😳

seungmin- you two actually have similar energy but he’s like the dog version? i wouldn’t necessarily call him a black lab or anything, he’s just kinda the puppy version of you. (idk how to make it make sense. iykyk) you two just kinda vibe together and enjoy each other’s company without having to say a lot which is super nice. you just have this like rhythm and comfortability with each other that is just so ✨✨✨. there’s also this insane sixth sense with each other where you both feel out what’s going on in the room and know what to do without saying a word to each other. the amount of times where y’all have been hanging out with friends only to get up and leave without any notice to anyone else to be like, “yeah, we’re gonna go” bc both of your social batteries have drained and you two just need to go watch some tv. you’re both also incredibly protective of each other when necessary.

i.n- he just finds everything you do so adorable and endearing. think wednesday and enid but he doesn’t rly have the enid aesthetic, just vibes. you have more of a dark side which he admittedly kinda loves. you could be sitting there sharpening knives and he’s like, “aren’t they the cutest!” (exaggeration but you get the idea) you just exist and he’s your biggest fan though. omg you smiled at him once (kinda sarcastically) and it made his whole year.

Wally west

Wally would be very supportive of someone who dressed alternatively or goth, especially as it doesn't bother him in the slightest. He's friendly to everyone as much as he can be and for you, he isn't going to behave any differently, except if you start to make your style your whole personality and start to push it on others.

Wally wouldn't be bothered at all by the way you dress and would even encourage it on days you might not feel very confident. If you wanted him to join in and try dressing in a similar style that you do then he will try it out a little bit but he probably wouldn't go all the way and would stick to being subtle in his style change.

More than anything, he would end up wearing accessories due to your influence, maybe some rings, maybe even some other types of jewellery if you encouraged him enough. He wouldn't wear anything that would get in the way too much, but he's the type of guy who would match items with you once he does start trying them out.

When the two of you go shopping together he will happily follow you around and look at all of the new stores or places you drag him too, and you know for certain that he'll volunteer to carry as many bags as he can while you look around. He doesn't complain about how long you're taking unless he's doing it on purpose to be sarcastic, but this is only if you keep him happy with some food on the way.

Wally will instantly defend you from anyone who has anything negative to say about the style of clothes you wear. You'll never have to worry about him not taking your side, but you may need to calm him down due to him getting a bit too loud at times.

Bruce Wayne

We all know what Bruce's type is, so he definitely isn't going to be put off by the way you dress. He will however, try his best to stay professional, so you won't see a noticeable reaction from him at first when you meet him.

Bruce really doesn’t care about lot about different types of fashion, and he won’t really bother knowing much about different types or keeping up to date with trends unless they’re for business or publicity reasons, so don’t expect him to know places that you can get any accessories or clothes himself. He will have plenty of people he can get in contact with though if you are looking to experiment with anything or get deeper into a style.

He naturally leans towards the darker side of things, but outside of being Batman he usually keeps himself pretty simple and clean cut, so you won’t really see him trying anything you usually wear. He may own a few band shirts for his extremely lazy days from when he was younger, but nothing he really keeps up with and is rare you’ll see him wear them.

He isn’t embarrassed to be seen with you, so he’ll have no problem with following you around on shopping trips, and when he’s comfortable with you he can be quite outspoken so he’ll definitely give you his opinion on items if you ask for it. If you don’t want his opinion then he’ll keep his mouth shut and accept anything you like, although you may be able to tell when he seriously hates something by the look in his eyes.

Bruce always knows what to say and how to say it in the heat of the moment, no matter who it is he’s talking to, so he’s always pretty good at defending you before the situation gets out if hand. He always prefers not to use violence, but he can certainly defends you if any idiots try to pull something on you.

Jason Todd

Our sweet boy Jason definitely likes them a little scary or mysterious so having a darker vibe to your outfits or personality will be something he happily accepts just as much as any other style. It may even give him more of a reason to pay attention to you when you first meet him if you don’t immediately express an interest similar to his own, so it’s a good way to get his attention if you don’t have anything to talk about at first.

He understand that you like certain things, but he my really like it when people take too long to get ready or too long to settle down with at the end of the day, so having a long routine while getting ready for the day or getting ready to bed might bother him slightly, although not too much for him to complain a lot about it. He doesn’t really care what you wear in general as long as you like it.

He’ll definitely take an interest in rings when he isn’t out on patrol, and it definitely helps make his already attention drawing hands become more noticeable. He’s only become more inclined to dress the way you do after a long time, but he’ll still keep to his own style mostly, more so taking tiny bits of inspiration from you whenever he feels like changing things up a bit.

Jason doesn’t like long shopping trips, but he does like to spoil you whenever he can, so he’ll go shopping with you but he won’t enjoy it the majority of the time. Not that he would outwardly complain, he’d just sulk behind you and make sarcastic comments until you got the hint that he can’t be bothered to tail around any more stores. Maybe shopping trips in small bursts would be better for Jason to tag along to.

Any comment about you from someone who doesn’t really have a nice thing to say Will get a reaction out of Jason immediately. He isn’t that good at holding him self back when someone says something bad or insults you about how you dress, so he will snap at first. Holding himself back from seriously hurting the person in public will be slightly easier to prevent himself from doing, but that is something he’ll wish he did do for a while afterwards.

Aqualad

He’ll be corps about the way you dress, after all it’s not exactly how the majority of people are seen to dress, so he will look you over and look at the different aspects of your outfit. Overall though he wont give a huge reaction to how you dress, but he’s certainly respectful of it.

Fashion isn’t something he really pays attention to, so you can tell him about as much as you want about the way you dress and different aspects of your style and it’s probably going to be the first time he’s hearing about those things. He will remember everything you say though, and always keeps an eye out for anything you might be interested in just because he knows you like that kind of thing.

He probably would have an interest in dressing like you do, but there’s no problem with that. He’s more than fine with the two of you being completely different people. As long as you’re okay with it too, and don’t try to convince him to change what he wears then there will be absolutely no problem.

If he ends up going shopping with you then he’s going to be looking very closely at all the stuff he sees, usually brace he doesn’t go to the places you buy your clothes so it’s a new experience seeing all the different types of clothes or things related to your style. You may have to drag him away from something after a while if he doesn’t have any intention of going to the next store.

He’s typically a pretty calm person so he won’t be too rowdy if someone makes a negative comment about the way you dress, but he will do his best to defend you and have that person leave you alone before too much trouble can be caused. He may even just lead you away from that person because it isn’t worth the time to deal with meaningless comments from someone you may not even know out in public.

I was thinking something like Reader is about meet Hobie's punk friends but is feeling all shy and worried because she's afraid they're not going to like her for being so different and make her feel like she doesn't belong, but Hobie comforts and reassures her that everything will be fine and he's so sweet to her the whole time. In the end all his friends end up adoring her and thinking she's really cool in her own way.

No one expected a relationship to bloom between you and Hobie Brown when they put you on your first mission together.

You were complete and utter opposites. He was outspoken, with loud opinions and a 'in-your-face' fighting style. You were queit, you didn't speak very often, rather preferred to be a listener. You were stealthy, preferring sneak attacks before actually engaging in a fight.

Other than your complete opposing personalities, the way you chose to appear was different as well. Hobie and his rather spiked design, his darker colours of red and blue, his studded belts and various peircings. You and your light coloured suit of baby blue, white and a shade of rose. The pointe shoes on your feet alluding to your skill as a dancer, before you were ever a spider–person at all.

The two of you couldn't be any different. So when you started to date, everyone was quite surprised. "Opposite attract, can't you all see! The tension was there from the start!" Pavitr would say excitedly to anyone who asked. But no one really minded your relationship, not even Miguel, who was so hellbent over anything that could threaten the canon of events.

Hobie doesn't remember a time where he laughed this much with someone else. You brought out all the best things in him. You listened to him ramble on and on about everything he dislikes about the spider-society, occasionally nodding your head or rubbing his shoulder whenever he got too worked up. He found himself feeling comforted by your presence, he found himself listening to you when you got all prissy and asked him to do something for you, even though he took orders from no one. Almost no one. He smiled alot around you, and was a much less agitated by everything when you were near him. There was always a pink hue around his frame whenever you were around.

And he brought out a side to you that you never knew you had. You spoke up more often, sometimes going lengths as to disagreeing with Miguel on some things. You allowed yourself to loosen up and speak freely, to be less shy and interact with others. He encouraged you to be the version of yourself that you wanted to be, letting you break some rules here and there, pushing you out of your comfort zone so you could have more experiences.

And today was one of those days.

Hobie had asked you earlier that day if you wanted to go back to his universe to meet his band mates, who were queit curious to whom he was dating and spending almost all of his time with. You agreed, although you couldn't deny how nervous you felt. You were different from Hobie, but he loved you. You don't know if that will apply to his friends.

And now you were holding onto his arm as he led you down the street to the pub they preform at. You were silent for most of the walk, and Hobie took notice.

"Hey." His voice intruppted your thoughts, that were mostly you trying to figure out how to introduce yourself without seeming lame. "You're quiet."

"I'm always queit." You replied, giving him a lopsided smile, "It's nothing, Hobie–"

"You're nervous. Have been since I asked you to come with." He chuckled, stopping the both of you in your tracks. The pub was just a few meters ahead of you, "What is it?" Hobie asked, taking his hands out of his pockets, wrapping them around your waist. You set your head on his chest, sighing.

"I'm worried they won't like me, think I'm too different for you."

The words hung in the air for a moment, then his chest rumbled and you heard him laugh. You looked up at him, pouting a little. "Hey, I'm serious!"

"I know, I know." He chuckled, "But there isn't anything to worry about." He left a kiss at the top of your head, squeezing your side. "They're the ones that should be worried, frankly—"

"No, no, it's.." You took a deep breath, intrupting him. "It's not going to be like when everyone in HQ was cool with it."

"Eh? Why not?"

"At HQ, they've seen much more stranger things than people like us getting together, and..." You sighed, closing your eyes. "They've seen how we are together, you know? I don't know if your friends will understand it, I just don't want to embaress you or—"

"Embaress me? Bloody hell, love, what goes on in that pretty head of yours?" Hobie moved one of his hands and cupped your cheek instead, tilting your head up so you'd be looking at him. You blushed at the gesture, a little sheepish at how silly you sounded.

Hobie sighed, seemingly collecting his words. "You being so different from me never embarrassed me, and never will. And my friends would be daft if they disliked you at all, not just because you and I aren't into the same things. You've got nothing to worry about, Mm'kay?"

"Okay." You nodded. Hobie leaned down, pressing his lips against yours gently, his hands wandering to finally end up wrapping tightly around your waist. Your chest felt much more lighter now, but that pit in your stomach never truly left you. "I'll be beside you all night, make sure you're all snug." You heard him say as he pulled away.

And that was that. His hands didn't leave your waist as he led you down the stairs to the door of the pub. Once you were inside, you were immediately overwhelmed by the deafening sound of drums and booming guitar riffs. The sound of people dancing and singing reverberated across the small space. It was queit busy for a thursday evening, the place was so crowded that you would've lost Hobie right away if he wasn't holding you by the waist, leading you to the bar. You put your arm around his own waist, holding tightly onto his vest.

"Oi, Hobes, over here!"

Your clutch tightened around the fabric, as Hobie made way for both of you to pass through. Once you made it to his friends, he high-fived the three of them then stood by your side once again.

They weren't too unfamiliar to you. They were his universe's Harry Osborn, Ned Leeds and Mary Jane. Maybe it was the fact that they were familiar faces to you, and maybe it was the fact that Hobie's thumb was running up and down your side in a soothing manner, but you felt a bit more at ease. You introduced yourself to them, and they all were pretty welcoming. You couldn't deny the fact that they did a double take seeing you on Hobie's arm, but it was just for a split second.

You grabbed your drinks and sat down at a booth. Hobie's arm was slung around your shoulder, pulling you closer to him. "So, how'd you two meet?" Harry asked, downing his shot almost immediately.

"Work. We're...like partners."

"Yeah, we always got assignments together."

"You work at that dodgy, shady secret business Hobie refuses to tell us about too? What's it like?" MJ asked, surprised. Hobie groaned, rolling his eyes. "Can we stop talking about work, I don't think that's what you want to spend the rest of the night talking about."

The three of them agreed, and you glanced at him, smiling, mentally thanking him for the diversion. "Well, what do you do outside of work? Are you in a band too?" Ned asked. "Oh, no, no, I.." You paused a little, before looking up at them. "I dance."

"Ooh, dance, eh? Didn't take you'd be into moshing, but I get that—"

"Nah, she's a ballerina." Hobie intrupted casually, sipping on his drink. "Bloody good one too." You laughed nervously, fiddling with your hands, unable to look up. You wouldn't be able to handle it if you saw them looking at you strangly. "I'm okay at best, Hobie—"

"Ballet? That's wicked!" MJ's voice made you look up. The three of them were leaning over the table now, attentively waiting for you to elaborate further. "Tell us more, do you get on big stages?"

You feel Hobie's hand intertwining with yours, giving you a light encouraging squeeze. The loving look in his eye, his constant reassurance of you, and the pride in his voice when he spoke of what you do all encouraged you to speak. So you did. You told them all about your hobbies, and they were queit interested in listening to you. One conversation led to another, and you found yourself flowing smoothly with them, even realised you have common interests the more you spoke.

Hobie never intruppted you, only filling in when you started to get a little tense or just to clarify a slang word you were unfamiliar with. His hand didn't leave yours for one second, he occasionally squeezed it to remind you he's there. Watching you operate and glide through the conversation by yourself filled him with a sense of warmth and pride, he was glad he could ease you into this.

A few hours pass, then his friends get up, saying they're going to go dancing before they leave. They asked Hobie and you if you wanted to come, even encouraged you to try rocking with them to the music, but the both of you said you'll sit this one out. Before they left, Harry leaned down and whispered something in his ear.

Once they were out of sight, Hobie turned to you, a grin on his face. You smiled back, tilting your head at him. "What is it?"

"You're cute when you get all excited and talk about what you like doing."

Even under low light, he could see your cheeks darken. "Did I speak too much? I hope they didn't think I'm too self cent—" He intruppted you pretty quickly, pulling you close to him that you almost ended up on his lap, and crashing his lips on yours. You squealed, but quickly adjusted yourself and wrapped your arms around him, kissing him back. His lips were soft and tender but the kiss was anything but. For a moment you forgot what you were talking about. Hobie didn't pull back for a bit, and when he did, you were left dizzy.

"They didn't. They think you're brilliant. Just like I do." He mumbled against your lips. "And if you ever think like that again, I'm going to kiss you till you can't conjure up a coherent thought."

"Mm, are you sure they didn't think I'm annoying?"

"Oh, now you're just asking for it, aren't you?"

i've been thinking about yan trey after you mentioned him and jade tag-teaming a darling (´▽｀*)

he'd just be so good at slipping something into your drink at a party, using paint the roses to mask the flavor of it, and his nice-guy persona is the perfect cover for whisking you away somewhere a bit more private! nobody would suspect a thing, not even you, because he just doesn't seem like 'that kind' of guy 😭

he also strikes me as the type to gently mold his darling into what he considers to be 'ideal'! be it the way you dress, act, anything really; he's patient and good at playing the long game, so i think it'd be a piece of cake (haha) for him!

(i've also been thinking about yan jade and trey tag-teaming a darling 😭💗💗 they're both quite similar in rationale, though trey has a little less of a predator vs prey mindset and actively tries to come across as trustworthy and kind, whereas jade has no problem with revealing a darker side to tilt a situation in his favor. idk i just think their dynamic in regards to a darling would be super fun!!)

Omg yes!!! He has this very reliable older sibling type of vibe—something you just can’t help but trust and rely on because he’s always so kind, caring, and helpful. There’s no way he could ever do something as dubious as slipping something into a dessert he’s prepared for you. With his unique magic, it makes hiding what he’s done so incredibly easy. There won’t be any suspicion from you because you trust him, and if he’s worried you might taste something off in the dessert he can just twirl his magic pen and change the flavor under the guise of being innocently playful. But when you do start to succumb to the effects of whatever he put in your food, he’ll be there to offer assistance. It’s almost too quick and smooth the way he sidles up next to you and wraps an arm around you to help you stand and walk to a more secluded area so that the two of you won’t interrupt the unbirthday party.

You’ll probably see him as your older sibling because that’s really how he acts around everyone. It’s just in his nature to be protective and caring because he looks after his little siblings. Of course being in the brother zone stings and he’s not even sure if he’d prefer the friend zone over it, but at least that means you’ll see him as harmless, sweet Trey. He doesn’t stand out very much, he’s always polite, and he’s so patient and resourceful when it comes to dealing with problems. Obviously he’s just a good person all around!

Or when you spend the night at Heartslabyul with Ace and Deuce and he’s there to offer you an extra blanket or a pillow if you need it, even going so far as to offer a spare set of nightclothes if you require them. And the way his clothes fit on you if you wear them... It makes him think of how nice it would be to spend Sunday mornings with you in a nice house where the two of you are married and you’re in his shirt and he’s in his trousers and the two of you sit to admire the rising sun with coffee or tea and pastries...

Trey and Jade pining for the same darling is so fun because Jade loves unexpected situations, so when he learns that Trey also fancies you he becomes even more competitive just to see what Trey might do. Jade might even try to make Trey jealous if he’s actively attempting to push every button Trey has in hopes of getting an amusing reaction. They do have similar aspects! They’re both observers, and they know how to seamlessly diffuse situations and how to do things that will benefit them at the end of the day. It’s such a good dynamic!! Trey can use your trust of him to his advantage, while Jade can use his amiable, gentlemanly façade to lull you into a false sense of security. That, and intimidation, blackmail threats, perhaps even the completion status of your contract if you’ve signed one. You think Trey might rescue you if you find yourself cornered by Jade, but imagine how betrayed you would feel if you realize he isn’t going to do anything to dispel this situation when he looks at you with an apologetic, bashful smile that doesn’t pair well with the lust in his eyes.

quick note: i don‘t know karim adeyemi personally. it‘s based on imagination, watched videos and my personal opinion. use of you and she pronouns in a very switching, and confusing way.

let‘s be completely honest here. having karim as your boyfriend will probably give you cramps of laughter every second day. almost each sentence is laced with humore, mostly laughing and joking around. so obvsiouly karim adeyemi would love a woman, who enjoys the fun side of life, and maybe has a very addictive laugh, which only spurs him on to make her laugh more often.

be prepared to be around jude bellingham a load. the two get a long very well, joking around and always sharing a good moment together. obviously, karim introduces the girl he likes to the one man that knows him extremely good on the team. jude‘s been there, done the dating a non-famous person thing, and completely busted it with thinking that she only wanted the acknowledgement.

how lucky he‘s around to share a little advice with karim. and if jude likes you, you already earned a hell load of extra points. there are two options you can be when meeting his teammates, confident and greeting them all before they can, or shy and taking a step back to let karim take over. and he definitely prefers the latter, as it gives him enough time to see their reactions, and introduce you with the sweetest compliments.

as karim adores the african food, especially a dish called fufu, he would love to show you africa, especially nigeria since it’s where his father is from. the entire culture is a very interesting part of his life, and he wants to share that with his significant other. you don‘t need to have the same culture or be completely obsessed with it, he just wants to show you and make you understand where he‘s coming from. bonus points if you actually like fufu, and learn how to cook it.

also, be prepared to spend loads of vacations in romania. he‘s been to his mothers birthplace multiple times, and even knows a few words in romanian, and he will show you the country with much joy. so if you love to travel, and are really excited about new things or learning new stuff, you’re the right one for karim. also spontaneity belongs to his life as well. he never has a promised day off, it always happens biased on the different training sessions, and how the progress is. long walks, sightseeing, and deep conversations in a sweet, little cafe belongs to the adventure.

i'm pretty sure, he loves to go out, he's a young, popular guy, playing football for a living and there's always a little advantage in that. if you're down to go with him, he's always taking you, showing you off and has his hands on your waist. if you don't want to go, he loves a trustworthy woman, who knows that he might get a drink or two, but he would never take advantage of his situation and cheat on you.

so, karim definitely loves a girl who can do both. the comfortable and calm lifestyle, walking through the beautiful streets of small towns, and having deep conversations. but as soon as the white moon settles between the golden stars and the loud music echoed through the busy streets, he takes you through the night's adventures.

style-wise, i would definitely go for the up-to-date one. following a couple of trends, not all of them, but in the end, it's most important to him that you feel comfortable in the fabrics you wear. his jersey is his favorite thing on you, that's sure, and he adores it when you're in the stands, supporting him and he is able to dedicate his goals to you. appearance-based, i'd go with a dark-haired, tanned or darker skin tone woman, who just fits his entire vibe.

Thinking more about Leigh Bardugo's upcoming book, The Familiar, I wanted to put down some of my thoughts, expectations, and hopes for the book. (I did this on tumblr for King of Scars and it was fun to revisit after the fact; I did this not on tumblr for Shadow and Bone s2 and had a good laugh and cry about it later.)

First off, I am so thrilled we get a new Bardugo book in its own world. I lost my mind over her Grishaverse, clearly, but I struggle with dark fantasy in the modern world (Ninth House), so I am thrilled to see her come out with new historical fantasy.

I am so excited for the worldbuilding! She's grown a lot since the first Grishaverse book (remember those days?? barely, tbh), as an author and a worldbuilder, and I can't wait to see what magic in this new world looks like. Scorpions?? Whatever it is, I'm in!

Also, I am interested in the choice of setting as the Spanish Inquisition. This, I think, can do a lot of the darker and more grizzly work for her, and I hope it gives her a chance to focus on the characters and letting them shine in that setting. ("Romantic," she says? SAY LESS)

I am also hoping that we are maybe at the point where the female characters can have less rape-y backstories. I'd really prefer none of them to have been raped or sold into sexual slavery in some way. That would be nice. A personal preference.

A character of Jewish decent in this world … the possibilities here are incredible. Things I'm excited about:

Bardugo will get to keep her cathedral #aesthetic without getting as tangled up in the morality of that specific religion as she did in the Grishaverse. This seems like a place where she, specifically, could do incredible things. It's her vibe.

Crypto-Jews, in my historical fantasy?? MORE LIKELY THAN YOU THINK! I am keeping my expectations on the lower side here – Bardugo has said in interviews that she is not big on Jewish religious observances so I don't know how much she'll get into some of the details or sort of plot that I'm thinking about. But I think there's a possibility for a great storyline. I've got some cautious optimism here.

Ladino! Think we'll get some Ladino? Based on the setting and the character's name it seems like a possibility! (Also, more people should know about Ladino! So, it'd be great if we get some Ladino in the book, is what I'm saying.)

Last but not least, she said she had ghosts looking over her shoulder as she was writing this. We all know the best books are written when ghosts look over your shoulder. I wonder if we'll be able to get any spoilers out of them.

I dont like wearing short skirts but I LOVE wearing long dresses to just flow around in. However one day I’d really really like to wear a fancy sparkly suit 🥹 As for color schemes, def on the darker tone! But every now and then i’ll rock something bright!

What i’d what in the relationship is mainly just someone being there and present for me, its not about being alone but just more of just KNOWING someone is there for me physically or not. Kind gestures that are even super small to most will literally make me melt. I also LOVE being able to take care of my partner, making them dinner/coffee/tea, you name it. If they got hurt? Im patching them up, nightmare? Im comforting them the moment they wake up. Getting them water, a coat, you name it. I also love giving gifts that I made, i’d also spoil them rotten with store bought gifts but they can expect a LOT of handmade crafts and DIYs LOL

don't mind me going through your blog to consume all the lupin content 👀👀 but, on a side note, i was wondering if i could ask your preferences in the many verses of lupin! as in, in which verses do you like to see the main cast the most? which ones do you feel are the most "authentic" to the character? keep up the good work, and happy writings! ❤️

I’m kinda dumb so I’m assuming when you say ‘verses’ you mean like all the different versions of Lupin and the gang! For me, It would have to be a tie between Miyazaki’s Lupin (castle of Cagliostro), Takeshi Koike’s movie iterations of Lupin, Lupin in part 2 (red jacket), and part 5.

When it comes to what is authentic within Lupin and the character group to me, there are so many specific attributes to consider that are key focal points that make him, well, him! In Castle of Cagliostro, I adore the romantic nature where he leans more into the “gentleman” of the gentleman thief title. Miyazaki had stated that in his film, he wanted to depict a Lupin in his twilight years, a more mature version of himself. I feel like that more kind and caring nature is to die for, and it does really well in showing how the accumulation of all that he has gone through would understandably result in that type of personal development later in his life, assuming you were to put that movie on a timeline with all the other content. Along with Lupin, I love how the relationships between him and those he cares about are obviously close without having to directly say it, such as how he and Jigen wrestle about with one another, how Fujiko and him have a “I loved you once, and I still love you, just not in that way” vibe going on, etc.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have Koike’s depictions of Lupin and the others which heavily lean more into the “thief” portion of his title. The gritty nature, the unshaken attitude in the face of violence or death, all of it is a beautiful reminder of his origins (the manga)! It never fails to nail in the fact that in reality, he is a criminal, he isn’t really a good guy. Sure, once in a while he’ll save someone or do something kind, but most of it is as a result of an alterative motive. For example, in Fujiko Mine’s lie, he helps the kid out not because of morals or anything, but because the kid offered cash. That darker aspect of Lupin and his friends are rare in the later productions in the series, but whenever it does come about (with exceptions for stuff like Island of Assassins bcs its just a bad movie), it is beautifully done. It mixes a sense of manic sporadicity into Lupin which makes things all the more thrilling and interesting because it turns from just being this silly goofy guy to one of many layers of an internationally wanted criminal.

Part 5 manages to mix that mature nature earlier displayed by Miyazaki’s Lupin but reistablishes the fact that Lupin isn’t just some guy you see in the paper, but he is in fact, a dangerous wanted criminal. A scene I love deeply is when in part 5, then Ami (amy? Idk she was a little annoying I won’t lie), had run off into an alley and these goons started picking on he and Lupin swoops in as usual. Unlike the usual goofy beating he would give them, he puts his gun into one of the dude’s mouths and was like, “I’m not some celebrity. I’m a criminal, I’ve killed before and I’ll do it again.”! It is one of my all time fav scenes across the board for the series. In terms of the maturity, it can be seen in his relationship with Fujiko which I adore. There scenes are so palpable with unspoken tension, his love for her exceeding words and how what they have will never be as simple as ‘I love you’. It takes all these good parts and mashes them together to make something amazing

As for my thoughts on part 2? He’s a gigantic asshole! He’s selfish, childish, whiney, but he’s also brilliant, inventive, and hilarious. All of these together make part 2 a great depiction of Lupin in his youth.

I like psychology, science (specifically biology), mythology, music, history, literature, and philosophy. I'm a huge geek when it comes to crimes (whether they're unsolved or not) and just mysterious stuff in general. I mostly watch documentaries (about any topic really), read, study, or simply lounge around in my free time. I admire people who are genuine. I don't have a favorite book since it's difficult to pick, but I prefer fantasy and psychological genres.

On the other hand I loathe anyone who is close-minded and two-faced. It's a big turnoff for me. And I dislike lazy people, incompetence is a big no.

Most people around me say that I'm empathetic so I suppose that's true. I'm a very calm person in general, unless someone ticks me off (I become temperamental if so). A lot of people have called me a goody two shoes (I can see why though and I don't blame them for that). Although I'm an emotional person by nature, I'm still logical and always opt for the most rational choice. I'm keen on self-awareness.

I have many insecurities but if I were to pick one it would be my inner self. Despite being an empath I'm a bit selfish, hypocritical, and self-preserving at heart (though I'm trying to fix those flaws of mine). I dislike that side of me and sometimes I wish I was a different person because of that (and tend to get envious of people who can freely show who they truly are). I have a fear of being judged by others if I show my more ugly and dark side, so I tend to just mask it all with my good traits.

There were times when you had entered a empty house, but the atmosphere had changed- it being more darker as if something awful had happened in your absence. Not wanting to disturb his peace, getting closer was the right route than prodding him for questions. Hand turning off the light, you kicked your shoes to the side; picking up the knife and placing it on the table, joining him in the dark. Sitting on the floor next to him you watched as his eyes were fixated on the screen before him, the audio of the conspiracy around the Himuro mansion playing in the background. "And I'm telling you that that portal doesn't exist." "Of course it doesn't dumbass." Rin said, brushing his teeth. "Then why did they do it? Do you think some spiritual activity took place there?" you chirped back. "myths, beliefs and fulfillment. Don't you know that?" he asked, wiping his face with a towel and getting under the covers. "Rin." He turned to you, teal eyes blinking boredly. "do you wanna go to the site tomorrow?" you asked. Thinking about it for a bit, he turned his head to the ceiling, hands resting on his chest. "8 pm. It works best at night."

3. Ask them to describe their love interest.

Yarrow - "Ohh well since we don't have all day, I'll just give you a little something. My dearheart is every bit the cliche 'knight in shining armor' with a nice fun streak of petty violence down the middle. He's got that distinguished sort of handsomeness about him whether he's in armor or lazing around in a nightgown that makes bothering him irresistible - he does like it, I promise! He knows me better than anyone else at this point; we've seen eachother through some extreme lows and have come out the other side stronger for it. I'm still a little amazed he's so genuinely enchanted with me - all of me, even when I'm doing pretty poorly! He makes me blush with how sweet he can be, which i can assure you is a feat at my age. Plus he's got fantastic big-dick energy and it's well-earned - wait where are you going? Too much? Ah well-"

Reach - "...I'd rather not say. He and I are on... uncertain terms. I'm trying to make things right. Somehow. I really don't know if it's possible. He's just... I need to repay him for all he's done for me, and I did the opposite of that, but. I'll do it or die trying."

Dehiscence - "Nelly? I don't have the words for that. She's perfect and kind. When she travels she brings me little cloth scraps and things to hold. She gets flustered easily. She hates blood even though there's so much of it in every person, including herself. I'd do anything for her."

Lanza - "Well thank you for ah, flattering me. I've got too much on my plate to be tied down right now, you see? I'm busy, come back in ten years or so and ask me again, capiche?"

4. Do they look good in red?

Yarrow - absolutely! Yarrow has the fashion sense and the time to make most any look work well, but red is one of the colors he prefers to wear (matches his eyes). It can be a little eye-searing at times, though.

Reach - He'd probably look really nice in some darker maroon-reds, but I don't think he has access to much red (or at least doesn't have it in his wardrobe??) I think he'd consider it too flashy.

Dee - Absolutely 100%, both when they have a red-toned mushroom growth and later when it's more brown/orange tones. I do think they'd prefer it as accents or (at most) a tank top - not too overwhelming

Lanza - out of all of these I think she'd have the most difficult time with making it work as she's got blue tones in her skin/hair.

5. Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Will they give one, and what about?

Yarrow - 99 times out of 100, Yarrow is prepared to give a short and effective speech at a party or some other social event. His ability to be Aware of the situation and vibe around him in those settings in nearly uncanny, so he very rarely has issues with these landing incorrectly! (when they don't go well it's a spectacular fumble)

Reach - He would NOT give one. Reach (especially in his older age) is extremely reserved and not really an orator. Unless he was in a small group of friends (genuinely at max 3 or 4 other people) he'd be too uncomfortable to speak - if the group was small though, he'd give a short two sentences about staying strong through cooperation or something similar to that.

Dee - You couldn't make Dee give a speech at their own wedding! Dee would write something thought-provoking but if someone tried to get them to say it they'd just Stare until the person left kfhfjdk

Lanza - At MOST Lanza would give a 5-word 'speech' in celebration or frustration with whatever event was happening. She has the confidence to roast someone if they keep pushing, too.

6. Who will they take advice from, no matter what it is? Who won’t they take advice from, no matter what it is?

Yarrow - Up until extremely recently, Yarrow would have answered this first question as "no one" - with a half-exception for therapists. Nowadays he's extremely wildly likely to listen to Kiro's advice, unless it relates to a few things that Yarrow thinks he handles better. Yarrow wouldn't take advice from anyone under 40 years old simply because they Do Not Know Enough, in his opinion. Also any paladin in his current city couldn't give him advice that he'd follow literally to save his life.

Reach - Without question, Reach would take advice from his higher-ups and from Sumet, his hunting partner and partner in all things (up until recently). Reach wouldn't ignore the advice of anyone, as he was trained to be big on cooperation and has a terrible need for answers in his current stage of life.

Dee - They're a very interesting case for this question because I think the only person they'd take advice from without question is Nelly's uncle, who has a very strong understanding of the issues Nelly is going through in regards to not following her family's traditional monster hunting job and who, while loved, is a bit of an outsider because (?) he took the same path. Other than that, Dee tens to weigh any opinion or advice against their own internal thoughts before acting on anything. They also tend to not take other people's advice at all unless they're someone they trust immensely.

Lanza - She's pretty strong-willed about a lot of things, so Lanza doesn't tend to trust anyone's advice implicitly! If they're an expert in something (personal or professional) that she doesn't know much about then she's likely, but not guaranteed, to listen to what they say. In her old setting I would have said she'd never follow the advice of her parents bc she was going through a 'rebel against old people' phase but honestly I don't think she's like that in other settings! She's just pretty headstrong still lol.

7. Describe them in three words. Now let them describe themself in three words.

Yarrow - I'd describe him as sharp, uncanny, and horny whereas he'd describe himself as "smart, gorgeous, and horny" or something along those lines pff

Reach - "Stubborn, misguided, and tired" are mine, Reach would likely call himself "worn, lost, and desperate". A younger Reach would have called himself sure, strong, and knowledgeable, though.

Dee - I'd say they're touch-starved, eerie, and like.... almost chivalrous??? perhaps like a loyal dog?? whereas they would describe themselves (if forced) as "reserved, tenacious, and steady".

Lanza - I get the privilege to call her a "fre-willed Italian butch(?)" whereas she'd call herself "free, skilled, and well-dressed"

i am a literate to advanced literate writer, capable of multi-paragraph replies, and would like someone on a similar level. i LOVE to plot, world/story-building. throw anything at me, and once we get the ideas rolling i’m the type who is consistently coming up with new plot points/twists/milestones. i do my best work when my partners are equally as passionate. i’ll probably make our story an aesthetic board and sometimes i even do playlists. :3c

in the upcoming lists and verse information, i will place an asterisk on anything that i’m really craving right now, but please know i am always open to new suggestions and ideas. i’m a multi-shipper and enjoy quite a few rarepairs.

as far as verses go, i highly prefer modern aus over canon or historical settings. i enjoy themes such as hurt, comfort, angst, conflict and resolution, character development, pining (be it mutual or initially one-sided)… the list goes on, but you get the vibe. cliche au settings i enjoy would be things such as: reincarnation, soulmates, high school, adults trying to figure shit out, cafe/coffee shop, ski resort/beach house (or any sort of vacation destination really). it may also be obvious that many of my ships are very “opposites attract,” so i also enjoy plots that lean into that, such as celebrity/fan, socialite/caterer, artist/muse, etc. please tell me the themes that you enjoy, because i’m open to so much more than this list includes.

i’m open to exploring or including some darker/more serious/controversial/complicated themes. as stated, i enjoy angst/hurt/comfort! life is messy and imperfect and so are people, so to me it makes the characters feel more human depending upon the storyline and/or situation. naturally, i don’t enjoy edgy themes for the sake of being edgy, so that’s definitely not what i’m trying to say with this tidbit! <3

triggers/limits:

firstly, i will respect any triggers or limits that you have, so please communicate those to me!

my only personal “limit” is that when it comes to those intimate 18+ scenes, i prefer we simply imply, insinuate, glaze over or dance around the act with some flowery language. i’ve written enough scandalous content to fill a library, so i’m good on that.
