Oh man, i haven’t written for Monet so this is gonna be interesting since I haven’t seen her character in so long!

Characters: Monet, Nami (One Piece)

Nami

She spoils the absolute hell out of you–For a price. 

It’s never free. But her way of charging you could mean a massage, taking a hot bath with her, cooking her a meal, or giving her a bunch of kisses throughout the day. Really just any way that would help her relax. 

But she could also want beri. She’d never try to break your wallet though. She’s not that terrible of a girlfriend. 

Nami will melt if you read her the book she’s starting. She loves hearing your voice. 

She also loves your company when she’s drawing maps in her free time. If you ask her questions then she’s more than happy to answer them for you because she likes seeing you take an interest in the things she enjoys. She tends to get a little carried away when talking about them, but it’s really cute seeing how into it she gets so don’t stop her. 

Nami is incredibly loyal as well. She would never stray from you. Although she may flirt with people to steal, don’t take that to heart. But if you talk to her about it then she’ll stop or just not do it while you’re around. 

Monet 

She’s very quick to figure out the things you like and likes listening to you. She always remembers the little things that you’ve mentioned whether it be in conversation or you see something in a store. 

There aren’t very many fights going on between the two of you since she isn’t the kind of person to get mad very easily. But when it does happen, she’s usually the one to keep you as calm as possible. She doesn’t particularly like seeing the people she loves angry, more so at her. 

She likes to flirt with you but as soon as you flip the table and start flirting with her, she shuts down. She can’t think and words don’t come out properly. Monet is just a mess. But she secretly loves it even if it seems like she may not. 

Monet is another one who is very loyal to you. 

She’s really good at keeping secrets and surprises from you. But don’t expect surprises very often from her. She’s not one to do that, it’s solely for special occasions or if you’re feeling bad. 

Will absolutely use her powers to help you if you’re sick and need to bring down a fever. She’ll keep a cold hand on your forehead for as long as it needs to be.

Peering into the microscope, you jot down your observations in the journal beside you and checking them over ever so often. It was quiet, not like there was much going on at Punk Hazard. There wasn’t a thing left alive after the incident, yet you didn’t find yourself complaining. Peace and quiet was all you needed, perfect conditions for testing experiments.

A chill runs across your skin, making your hair stand on end and you become aware that you may not be alone as previously assumed. The room was still dead silent but colder than before. Not too alarmed, you finished the last note in your journal then shot a look over your shoulder.

“No need to worry about me, I’m only looking at what you’re up to.” Monet answers cooly, her feathers brushing against our back and sending shivers down your spine. Wrapping her wing around you, she steps in closer to look into the microscope with a curious smile. Her big round glasses cover her eyes but you can just narrowly catch how they weren’t looking into the microscope.

“It’s really… nothing. Caesar proposed a new drug idea that I agreed to look over. Not sure if it’ll do much but it sounds like a good idea.” You weren’t sure whether it’d work but Caesar wasn’t one to pick a fight with. You hoped a second pair of eyes would help you decide where to go with it. 

Monet hums and zooms in, contemplating a thought although she seems more concerned with pulling you closer with her wing. You shudder again, the coolness of her presence not yet something you were used to, especially on the already chilly part of the island. But when she'd wrap you up in her wings while in the Burning Lands, the dim cold radiating off of her kept you from boiling alive.

You may have been cold, but warmth rose in your chest with each touch of her skin against yours.

“Am I making you cold?” Pushing her glasses up to rest in her hair, she shoots you a genuinely concerned look. It felt like her golden yellow eyes could read your every mood and emotion.

“No, I just need a new jacket.” You tug it to cover your blushing face, disguising it as a poor attempt to get warmer. Something that Monet doesn't miss at all.

“Well, I could always buy you one if needed. We should have an opportunity this upcoming weekend.” She ignores your blush, playing into your lie but files it away for later as she swoops in dangerously close to your face. “In the meantime, I may have one you can borrow. Can't wear it anymore for -y’know- obvious reasons.” She waves her wing in the air.

You laugh after jotting down another quick note. “Such a shame, it was so pretty. Especially on you.”

“Don't you think it'd look cuter on you?” The chill returns as she stands in front of you, lips narrowly touching yours. Your face is on fire and she's quelling it, making you want to step closer into her presence and finally press your lips against…

“I have to finish the experiment!” You sputter out in a flustered mess, fumbling to pick up your journal and refocus yourself towards the work at hand. Monet laughs, shaking her head and slipping behind you, making you think she was going to leave until the soft feathers of her wings rush against you, curling around you in an embrace.

Lips brush against your neck just as light, climbing up till she leaves a proper kiss on your cheek. “You've worked hard enough, we can go through my closet to find you something warmer. And don't worry about Caesar, I think I can get a good excuse for my darling.”

I've never written for Monet before, so I apologize if she is out of character!!

Monet can be a rather flirtatious woman, even so she is extremely loyal to those she considers important to her, and you are one of those people! 

Despite her attitude, she can be quite shy! Catch her off guard and the woman won’t be able to speak properly for the next 40 minutes! 

She can be a bit cold at times, laughing at your misfortune, but deep down she cares and won’t let anything dangerous happen to you. She just thinks it’s cute seeing your frustrated face. 

There is one thing you must know though, Doffy always comes first in her life, even before you. He saved her and Sugar’s lives when they were young and she doesn’t mind dying for him if needed.

I can totally see her being the dominate one in the relationship. Complain all you like, this woman likes control and can manipulate very easily. She knows you from the inside out and can make you tick just like that.

Is also the type to flirt with other men just to see if you get jealous. Sometimes you need to put her in her place by telling her that you two are together. She only does this to get attention and a rise out of you, you can also ignore her and she will behave!

- The poison works on both humans and animals

- It takes her 4 hours to process but you snap her out of it

- You take her out for some cool air to get her thinking straight and it works

- Monet has to get Tariq and her other children to back off of your sword even though it looks cool, it's thin but sharp

- The sword harms the police if they're too aggressive with monet's kids in any way. If they're too aggressive, that's the time you get angry and would kill any police or agent that'd harm any of monet's children

- Monet says that she's very lucky to have a spouse like you

monet deciding to tag along with luna to a fashion event her mentor is supervising and falling in love with one of the models as soon as she sees you.

she knows its the most lesbian cliché thing ever but she cant help it. when she follows monet into the makeup room to meet the models you greet both of them with a big smile like you've known luna for years. when luna tells her that she actually has known you for a few months she tries to keep a polite smile on her face but her eyes say i can't believe you've known a gorgeous woman who is just my type and didn't tell me! what happened to girl code!?

you talk for a little while longer before its finally time for you to get dressed, your usual stylist out sick which is why you wanted luna to dress you. but to her shock luna offers up monet to help put your outfit together.

the process is as exhilarating as it is overwhelming. not only does she get to handle fashion, something she knows like the back of her well-moisturized and manicured hand, but she also is up close and personal with your near nude body, holding up different skirts and shirts to see what fits your personality and vibe.

when she finishes you thank her over and over again, telling her she made you look ethereal. she smoothly tells you that you already did, and feels her pride go up when you look away with a shy smile on your face.

when your on the runway monet think you look like an angel, and when you smile at her from the catwalk she thinks she's in heaven.

"What are you doing out in the cold?" The scientist stepped to the side and opened the door wider. "Come inside before you catch a cold."

"Thank you, thank you," you said as you hurried into the building, rubbing your hands together as you watched him close the door when you were inside.

"Of course, I couldn't just leave a poor woman out there in the freezing cold." He gave you a warm smile and offered you a hand. "My name is Caesar Clown."

"[L/n] [Y/n]," you reply shaking his warm hand.

"Come, [Y/n]," Caesar said as he began to escort you through the halls loosely by the hand if you wished for your hand to be by your side. "Let's get you something warm to drink."

Your heart fluttered at how gentle he acted toward you. He seemed so sweet, his fluffy coat and hair only enhanced his soft nature. You felt safe with Caesar, safer than when you were on the pirate ship not long ago. Fate is being pleasant after you barely escape from those beasts.

"Thank you, Caesar," you smiled at the man. "If there's anything I could do to return the favour, I'll gladly help!"

"Master Caesar, I have your coffee ready," you inform him entering the lounge room.

"Wonderful, [Y/n], just set it on the table," Caesar instructed as he continued going through his notes.

So he may have told you to address him as 'Master Caesar' but you weren't complaining. After all, he's polite and gentle with you, far better than the pirates who previously harassed you. If anything, you were proud to call him master. Setting the coffee down in front of him, you turn to him with a smile.

"Is there anything else you'd like me to do before I attend to the children?" Your shift had been just around the corner, and you enjoyed taking care of the children. You were a bit surprised when Caesar informed you about the daycare but you only fell for him more when he told you he was taking care of them so you volunteered to help them out.

"Not really, just don't forget about the candy on your way there."

"Yes, master Caesar," you nod before exiting the room, almost bumping into Monet.

The green-haired woman ignored you, flapping right past. A frown appeared on your face. You couldn't help the envy crawling under your skin whenever you saw her around Caesar. Yes, Caesar had told you she was his secretary yet you couldn't help but feel something else was going on. Stepping to the side of the doorway and against the wall to be out of sight, you eavesdropped on their conversation.

"How's today's batch, doctor?" Monet asked, you could hear her taking a seat on the bar stool.

"Better than yesterday," Caesar answered with a delighted tone you've never heard before.

Could your suspicion be correct? Did Caesar like the bird girl? Perhaps the master only took pity on you and was just being nice to you. That would-

"These kids sure have been a great help with improving the giant-ification serum, shurororo."

Giant-if-what? Was your master experimenting on the children? No that can't be-

"The current ones aren't going to last much longer, should we get new ones soon?" 

"Yes, send the team to bring another group then dispose of the older ones before they drop in front of the others, we don't need those brats to start crying."

"Very well."

You stood iced to the ground, shock painted over your face. This... this is worse than you imagined. This couldn't possibly be true, Caesar would never say such a thing let alone do, right? No, this-

"Ack!" you yelped when electricity stunned your nerves before you fell to the ground.

A worker in a yellow suit clipped the taser he used back on his belt before dragging you by the leg into the room. "Master, I found this one snooping around."

"Ah, leave it on the burning side of the island, it'll die eventually."
