This might seem like an "old man yells at cloud" situation, but it's just wild growing up and being told how dangerous distracted driving is - how, at highway speeds, you can traverse the length of a football field (100 yards, 91 meters) in a matter of seconds - how one split second sending a text while driving could result in a potential fatal crash, and then getting on the road as a driver and being surrounded by billboards. Their entire purpose is to catch one's attention, so they're lining major roads, which tend to be highways. How is it that you're told how important it is to never be distracted while driving, but still being advertised to?
At best, this type of advertising is an eyesore to pedestrians and motorists and a general waste of electricity to light it, and at worst, it is an active danger considering they are there to advertise and therefore, must catch people's attention.
I'm not even against advertising in theory, but this particular mode bothers me so much and I hate how pervasive it is - especially in large cities or highways.

imagine canon atla but modern, and sokka going to the market to pick up some groceries because the gaang is running low on food. normal shit, right? and then. as he enters the candy aisle, he makes eye contact with prince zuko, in all his fancy and spiky fire nation armor, gripping a box of girl scout thin mints in one hand and a package of birthday cake oreos in the other. prince zuko, who has been chasing them town to town, city to city, with a basket full of enough candy to give you diabetes. prince zuko, looking like a little kid with his hand caught half way in a cookie jar.
what a sight.

Hear me out.
I'm envisioning... a video much like the one attached to this very post...
The video takes place and a viewer of the performance posts the posted 2 years before current events in my au and a year before Uta gets her feet on the ground for being a ✨Pop Star 🤩.
A year after Uta's fame blows up, this video is found and circulated around her fan forums, and everyone's like
"Who's these other guys performing with you?"
"ay This man really busted out the kazoo and absolutely killed it"
"Guy's i found one of them, he's a felon. [posts Sabo's mug shot]"
i think that would be funny...
