having ideas about sunny being a joseimuke-adjacent mobage where they have vaguely romantic interactions with the main player (it will depend on the character) but also have weirdly homoerotic interactions b/w some characters

I just realized I dont like dating sim games because they never have customization of your character. (Except Amorous, but you never get to see your character the entire game and also that game kinda sucks imo)

But yeah. Like I almost always prefer dating sim games where the character isnt supposed to be YOU, and theyre their own person, you just make choices. Liek I wanted to play a recent sim dating game that I was REALLY excited for, and I started it but like. I couldnt get into it at all because every dating sim girl is some skinny long haired fair-skinned girl (and yes I understand a lot of dating sims/otome, are targeted toward their local asian audiences. But even dating sims in the west have default white girl syndrome)

and I can't immerse myself into it pretending to be that person. Im a curvy black girl. Like at least let me make a character that looks kinda like me, since theyre supposed to BE me. Y'know, so i can have SOME kind of fun.

Yeah theres like, harvest moon and stardew and i love those kinds of games. but thats not what Im looking for if that makes sense?

i do wonder if one reason i tend to go for the method of "kidnap a vague story idea and make expies of all the characters i think are relevant and make up something new and barely recognizable" instead of the much less complicated method of just "writing a fanfiction" is that i play fast and loose with lore details if i think they suck or are boring or just irrelevant and i have this very intense possibly irrational but maybe rational fear that if i write a i dunno. zelda fanfic and i dont get everything 100% right based off the official nintendo timelines that ive been ignoring since they came out that the fanbase is going to take me out back and put me down.

Listen, I know very little about ch 6 other than some small details here and there but if there's something I do know is that Shouta Aoi got cast as Ortho which means I'm in for a devastating time.
