Made gyoza for the family last night, usually I let Bi-Han make the jiaozi he learned from Mama Zero but I was craving Japanese flavors and I know my way around a dumpling, so I took the reigns. They were plump and juicy, crispy and delicious, the kids loved them and absolutely demolished them. Sy couldn’t help but sneak one or two even though human food gives him a stomach ache. I didn’t get a picture of the second plate but the twins are getting so good at folding the dumplings and Xue is getting there too! It was so much fun helping Bingbing with the dumplings and even though hers didn’t look the best, she is only three after all, but they still tasted wonderful. I love cooking with the kids especially my daughter, not that I don’t instill a love of culinary arts in all my children, I’m raising my boys to be equal partners not misogynist wastes of life but Bingbing really has an enthusiasm for it! She gets so excited measuring the ingredients and is so meticulous about it, it’s really adorable, I can tell she’s going to be quite the home cook like her mama. It’s chillier today so I have a nice big pot of bean and bacon soup simmering away today, what’s nice is the bacon is smoked in house at the Lin Kuei compound so it’s not often I have to make a trip to the village for supplies, being the Grandmaster’s wife certainly has it’s perks. I do like going to the village on the weekends though to browse the vendors and get local specialties or delicious dim sum that I don’t often make myself. I CAN make char siu bao but they taste better made by the old aunties in town than mine do. So yeah I figured it’s been a while since I’ve done a little self ship update or any writing about it in general so here’s just a little something.

Picrew dump SolarBear edition, even though my hair is currently pink I had to use my natural blonde in a couple because pink wasn’t an option. I think the ones with the kids came out really cute, Bīngbīng has had enough of Bi-Han. 🤣 Bi-Han having long hair is taking me a little while to get used to since I’ve visualized him with short hair for so long but I’m trying to be canon compliment, so long hair Bi-Han it is.

Kung lao (the og hat bae himself. I stan kung lao in this house!)

Hanzo Hasashi/scorpion (look hanzo needs love. Good lord give him a break plz!)

Raiden (tbh more of conquest/defenders of the realm raiden. Because i love lighthearted but older bro type raiden more than serious raiden as of the current games,no offense to NRS. And to me that IS raiden,more serious and level headed than fujin but still jovial. Like storms itself uwu. Just like tagawa-san IS shang tsung,and is an absolute chaotic sexy bastard tho tagawa is a sweetheart irl and just amazing actor.)

I'm platonic with fujin. Because he's friend shaped.

Everyone else is meh but cool.

Cept nightwolf,he's awesome. I just respect the fuck outta nightwolf.

Personality: Her parents think of her as a well-behaved, innocent girl - but she's actually a huge menace and a prankster. Her frequent victim tends to be her eldest brother Haoran, but she sometimes pranks other people too, but people would actually never suspect her.

Facts:

- She has an 'imaginary friend' that she can only see (it's LBD, but she isn't aware), and also enables her pranks.

- LBD sometimes gets annoyed with this child and acts like a 3rd parent to Mingxia.

- She's the youngest child of the Qi family.

Ok so this is me. Describing things as if im giving a tour or tutorial on a game. :3

Very self indulgent.

SHANG TSUNG'S ISLAND

The island: absolutely breathtaking views. Tropical paradise. Various old structures and architecture of many many various eras and dynasties of China. Sometimes you can feel the island like it's alive....how ominous. Shang tsung says the island is in a realm of its own. A pocket dimension,not quite affected the same way as the realms it connects to. It sorta of is timeless,much like the man who rules it...still wonder what he means by this.

But overall it has lovely shores and beaches. Lavish courtyards and gardens. It has an upper courtyard,and lower. The Lower courtyard is mostly for guests,kombatants when there is a tournament,servents and guards. The upper courtyard is for me and shang tsung. He doesn't let anyone wander around in it unless he invites you. Which he does rarely.

The interior: the interior is traditional but has modern facilities. (Look shang is old but come on man!)

Tho he does have a traditional kitchen and a modern. But the modern one is his personal one near his living quarters. The rest of the inner palace is still got an old school vibe.

The inner palace/private living quarters:The bed chambers is lavish. Large. Silks,velvets,gold,red. *sigh* . Beautiful.

Shang's private kitchen,bathroom,hot spring,etc is all connected.

Armor/clothing:has beautiful armor and a ceremonial sword in his bed chambers too.

Some armor is for kombat. Some is ceremonial. Either way it's always beautiful to look at.

I too have lovely outfits. Aren't they great?

My magic apprentice outfit. Sorceress in training if you will. (Not exactly how i had it,but it was closest to i could find)

Also our accessories too

Shang and i (lady tsung) have snake rings. A pendent that helps my magic training. Master tsung has a snake flask(with what alcohol or its contents, i dare not ask him) and a dragon pipe for Tobacco(or other substances im sure).

Throne room:Shang tsung's throne room is also breathtaking. A Large room,holden dragons,the tournament master private dining room, a small courtyard next to it. Isn't it lovely?

His chair and also the outside gates to the inner palace.

Well that's all i have to show you for now! I hope you enjoy your stay. You probably should get going before he gets back. Shang tsung,my beloved tends to get a bit peeved when i have guests up here.
