hiiiiiiiiii! i'm new to 911blr. are there any favourite blogs you would recommend?

Ngl. Messages like this are common, but it's hard to really recommend blogs to people you don't know. You don't really know what they want on their dash. And just because a blog is one of my favorites doesn't mean you'll vibe with it too.

Not to mention the fact that it can be uncomfortable making lists like that because you inevitably end up leaving people out.

I'm gonna try to put together a list that might help new people, but it's not going to be all encompassing. I don't know everyone in this fandom. I don't follow everyone in this fandom (or on this list), and I certainly don't know every creator in this fandom. omg thank u sm for the ask i love talking about honoumi! first off, i def need to start with the manga and light novels..

they grew up together due to their families both being friends (i think? i havent read the manga in a hot minute) and its established that theyre really really close. as you guys know im always weak for the childhood friends to lovers trope...

in general the dynamic is just so appealing to me. honoka encourages umi to go out of her comfort zone and try new things. she's like the sun to umi's moon (in umi's all stars bday msg for her, she even says that honoka "fills her life with sunshine"... hmm.... ) meanwhile, umi helps honoka stay grounded and is always there to provide her with a voice of reason

and they just know each other so well... their interactions in the manga and school idol diary really make their connection so clear and i cant put it in words but theres just such a strong sense of mutual understanding between them??

also they have these really sweet tender moments that make me go like ❤❤❤

theyre ship-teased to points that you could nearly say that theyre canon...

i think honoumi is also the closest we've gotten to a kiss in love live? (well, an almost kiss to be more precise)

theres zero heterosexual explanation for honoka fantasizing about bridal carrying umi lmao

to be honest i feel like in the anime, honoumi's potential sadly wasnt as explored as it could've been. their dynamic was kind of watered down as compared to their manga variants, but i like their anime interactions too!!

its still evident (although a bit more subtle) even in the anime that they have something special, from the the "i love you" scene in episode 1 to the hug scene in the movie. like umi was so worried about honoka going missing, she was legit the only one in the group crying

not to mention that one moment in the wonder zone episode where honoka and umi have this gay eye contact like??

they look so in love with each other pls 😭 is it gay to stare at your bestie like this...

May I offer you a mental picture of a canine I see frequently at work? They are a white potato of a chihuahua, not super overweight but definitely well fed. Always very clean, his father is very kind and doting on him and sometimes he wears a tiny jacket if it is too cold. This little gentleman who never barks at strangers and likes to flirt with the ladies recently got his certification as a Medical Alert Dog, which makes me smile when I see him.

Oh he sounds like a dapper little man, doing such important job too.

THEY DO!! I'm so glad u asked me Coral.

Dew - he LOVES slack lining. The fam does not get how he keeps his balance!! Or some times he'll do tight rope walking as well. And he's oddly good at tumbling/gymnastics

Aether - this bitch KNITS. The infirmary is stocked with cute baby blankets and hats and mittens. Omega once told him to slow down. Aether said no bc how else is he gonna IMPROVE CMON OMEGA

Mountain - gardening but he also has his massage therapist license and loves giving his family nice massages. Especially Copia who is a stressed man. Mountain also likes yoga.

Swiss - very ADHD HOWEVER!!! This ghoul LOVES drawing. Either digital art or charcoal art ect. If he can draw it he'll try to! He has many notebooks filled with drawings

Rain - he loves to bake and cook! Hes always creating new recipes for the family to try out. Phaeon is usually is taste tester. Sometimes Rain gets Dew to also be a taste tester but it usually ends with Dew making out with Rain bc he thinks Rain baking/cooking is cute (thats a story for another time)

Phaeon - He got hooked into video gaming. Sunny and Dew set up his stream stuff up after tour. He will stream on whatever platform is the most popular. Has a small but mighty streaming community. Loves playing red dead redemption 2 and dead by daylight and horror games. His chat will try and jump scare him. He does stream un glamoured but his community thinks its just a costume and Sister Imperator and Copia let him get away with it.

Aurora - she loves to make jewelry! AND she loves make up! Will film GRWM videos and talk about the latest make up trends. Shes also into SFX make up so when she does un glamor, she pretends her horns and fangs are fake depending on the SFX Look shes doing! Like Phaeon, Sister Imperator and Copia let her get away with being un glamoured at times due to the SFX parts!

Cumulus - she writes is her free time! And will do cross stitching! It helps calms her down along with crocheting. She makes gifts for everyone and they adore it!

Cirrus - PHOTOGRAPHY!!! She does a lot of nature photography and has a cute lil website for her photos that people can get as prints! She also helps with the ministry's newsletter and does also do like a "day in the life" type photos! Theres many candids of Dew slackling, Swiss drawing, cumulus cross stitching ect ect

Sunshine - now that shes retired she does a lot of glass making! The siblings and the papas love it. She made Primo some really cool cups and stuff :)!!

Mist & Ifrit have started wine making after they retired. They get the fruits and ect from Mountain or Primo. Its a great side hustle tbh! And now Terzo doesnt spend a shit ton of money on mediocre wine!! Huzzah!!

Alpha - woodburning! He makes a lot of signs. He also really likes karate. Dont... ask... its a thing okay? Omega teases him for it lovingly at times. He did try pole dancing... but he broke the pole and his ankle... so Omega and Terzo put an end to the pole dancing.

Omega - CALLIGRAPHY!! He LOVES it. He likes writing fancy and likes to try out different calligraphy pens! Sometimes he gets together with Cirrus for Siblings of sin who get married and he'll do the wedding invitations while Cirrus does the photography!

Lol. Imagine in the Cult SAGAU, where the closer you are to The Creator, the more literal power you have. Character visions react more strongly and release more powerful attacks, Characters can start to change other NPCs and their surroundings, and they're so in tune with you, that they become mind-readers, anticipating your thoughts and actions before you even know what's happening.

(There's also the idea for a literal mental link between the closest acolyte and The Creator, but that's a whole other can of worms.)

Omg that's genuinely such a cool idea 😭

It's like when they level up in game,except it's in reality. Certain characters will literally spend weeks with you in hopes of becoming more powerful.

It's even funnier if you favor smaller,less lore affecting characters like Noelle,so while the literal governmental figures are trying really hard to impress you,holding festivals,making giant temples in your name,ect, while you're hanging out with a random knight-in-training/maid.

And usually in my aus Zhongli is the most overbearing,so if he had the power to basically read your mind,you'd probably never get rid of him.

Also,the mental link thing is also something I'd like to explore further👀

Dew nodded shakily, both hands covering the lower half of his face. He sunk further down into the couch, heels pressed to the back of his thighs, toes curled over the lip of the cushion.

From between the gaps in his fingers he dared to watch the slow in and out motion of Mist's digits. Every time they disappeared inside of his cunt he found himself painfully aware of how wet he was. Sure, he could feel how his body leaked like a fucking faucet but the sound was what really reminded him of it.

Dew felt filthy.

Sat in a growing puddle of his own desperation. Legs opened and on display to the water ghoulette before him. He was shaking, he'd been shaking since she got him undressed - however long ago that was now.

"Don't go shy on me now minnow." Mist ran a cool palm along his inner thigh and he shuddered. "You're doing perfect, wet as a water ghoul should be. I'm so proud of you."

A third finger pushed into him in time with her praise. Dew's eyes went unfocused for a minute and he dug his nails into the meat of his cheeks, some poor attempt to distract himself from the mounting pressure in his gut. The stretch, while gradual, pulled a loud moan from him. Louder than he would have liked and absolutely whorish.

"You like that?"

Mist's question was met with a slightly garbled uh huh and she smiled coyly. The rough pads of her fingers crooked upwards and Dew's mouth fell helplessly open, he didn't think to shut it.

"J...Just like that, yeah," his voice came out unsteady and soft. He didn't trust himself to speak any louder without breaking.

"What? Here?" She asked innocently despite rubbing directly on the softer spot on his inner walls. His legs just about spasmed.

"Fuck!"

"Mhm, thought so. Good boy."

Mist sat forward on her knees and gave his clit an experimental kitten lick that left him feeling dizzy. The brief caress of her tongue sent electricity throughout his nerves. His body went tight around her bony fingers. If he could think to uncurl his claws from his cheeks he'd have found a new home for them in her hair. Loose beach waves that he'd give anything to tug on, to use to selfishly drag her closer.

He thankfully didn't have to though. She got the hint, and he was grateful she didn't think to make him beg, he couldn't have formed a coherent plea if he tried.

Her lips sealed around his swollen clit and every inch of his body felt it. Felt her lapping away at his little cock. She'd stop occasionally only to drag her forked tongue through his folds, swallowing him down like she was dying of thirst.

It was like his brain clicked off. The combination of her fingers and alarmingly skilled tongue proved to be too much for him.

He felt the telltale flare of heat in his belly and his eyes fluttered, threatening to cross. He hardly registered the foreign weight that accompanied it, too busy choking on the pathetic little whimpers bubbling out of him.

Dew came with a full body sob, knees trying to draw together to stop the endless flood of stimulation but Mist's fingers continued to stroke inside him. Dark spots obscured his vision. Too much, too much for the poor water ghoul.

And that pressure, that pressure became unbearable.

"Oh fuck, wait, wait-"

There was barely a chance for him to babble out a warning, too hazy brained to realize it before his body responded with a gush of wetness. Mist jerked back with a surprised gasp that Dew could hardly hear through the ringing in his ears.

He uncoiled from himself slowly. Boneless against the couch cushions. Dew couldn't catch his breath.

"Shit, guppy..." Mist sat back on her heels and Dew cracked an eye open in time to watch her wipe her mouth on her arm. "Didn't think you were this messy."

It was a fight to get both eyes to open and focus on her. He almost curled up in on himself again, but in absolute shame. She was covered in his cum. Droplets beaded and dripped from her chin to her bare chest.

"You're...Sweet hell, you're soaked, I'm sorry. Let me get a towel or something, I'm, fuck, I'm sorry Mist." Dew mumbled and pushed himself off the couch onto unsteady legs. His knees were practically knocking together, wobbling.

Thank you for this ask, anon! This will be super fun to list out all of my favorite Nesta scenes from the ACOTAR books.

ACOTAR

"Tell me everything that happened." - When Feyre returns to her family halfway through the book, and we learn Tamlin's glamour didn't work on Nesta, and Feyre starts to understand Nesta's inner fire in a way she hadn't before. This set of scenes launched Nesta right on to my list of favorite characters - they are pure fire.

Feyre teaches Nesta to paint - This is a brief but, to me, utterly beautiful moment amid the set of scenes I listed above. It's when Nesta asks Feyre to teach her to paint, and in particular it's the moment when they emerge from where they had been painting together and both are covered in paint and charcoal, even as it's clear Nesta isn't very good at it but she wanted to try anyway, with her sister. Some day I want to commission an artist to draw Feyre and Nesta in this moment of ACOTAR. It fills my familial heart right up every time I read it.

ACOMAF

"Wings and Embers" bonus chapter - When I first read this bonus chapter, the way Nesta's pov in this extended scene made me feel seen by words on the page, in a way I never had felt seen before, is something I cherish.

When the human queens visit the Archeron estate - Nesta makes a passionate and uncharacteristically vulnerable plea to the queens to protect the human lands south of Prythian, which leads to Cassian promising to protect the humans even if the queens will not. It's another beautiful example of Nesta being vulnerable in a public way, and it moves me every time I read it.

"The hellcat now, if you'll be so kind." - When the King of Hybern orders Nesta to be pushed into the Cauldron and forcibly Made Fae. This entire scene is devastating and traumatic. But watching Nesta fight back with the rage we first glimpse in "Wings and Embers" makes this an absolute standout Nesta scene for me. The finger point at Hybern and his unnerved reaction are everything to me.

ACOWAR

Scenes when Nesta is training with Amren - I always loved these and even though my present canonical feelings about Amren are mixed to poor, the way these scenes brought out a side of Nesta we hadn't seen yet make them special to me.

The meeting of the High Lords - Both during it, when Nesta as the Night Court's new Emissary to the Human Lands makes a public and, again, incredibly vulnerable case to those assembled that the humans are worth protecting, and also the scene just after the meeting when Nesta senses the Cauldron and Cassian believes her without question, which is just one of many of the embarrassment of riches we get in this book when it comes to Nessian.

When Nesta scries for the Cauldron with stones and bones - Everything about this scene is chef's kiss, but especially the Nessian dynamic in it.

Nesta screaming for Cassian during the battle against Hybern - This doesn't need an explanation, does it? As we learn later, it's the moment Cassian realizes they are mates. It is everything.

Cassian lifting Nesta to greet Drakon and the legions he brought with him, and the arrival of Papa Archeron - This scene, also during the battle, means so much to me that it's depicted in the first ever artwork I commissioned.

Nessian's stand against the King of Hybern - the way they fight together and are willing to die together sets me alight whenever I read it, and it's always fascinating to me that SJM manages to show us this scene from within Feyre's pov, who isn't even present for it.

Nesta and her father - His last words to her.....ACOSF shows just how important and complicated this moment is for Nesta, and it's for those same reasons this scene is so important to me.

Nesta kills the king - I love that Elain is the one who appears and makes the first blow on this kill, and that when Nesta finishes the job she lifts the king's head like the badass that she is. There is such trauma and rage in this moment and, again, seeing that baldly on the page is transformative for me every time I read it. Related to this moment is a little while later when the Archeron sisters walk past the King of Hybern's corpse, and Nesta spits on it. So raw, so perfect.

ACOFAS

Nesta's pov - After her fight with Cassian, the small snippet we get in Nesta's pov when she returns to her apartment, locks her doors, and completely dissociates in despair. It is so painful and raw, but again there is something about this scene that also makes me feel seen, especially heading into ACOSF.

The Prologue - Nesta in the Cauldron from her pov

Opening scenes in Nesta's pov where we finally learn what she's been going through

Nesta successfully scrying for the Mask (when the room turns cold and Cassian kisses her back to herself after using her power)

Nesta fighting the kelpie in the Bog of Oorid and then reuniting with Cass and Az

The first time Nesta wields a sword

Ch. 50 - Nesta and Cassian by the lake after their hike through the Sleeping Mountains

Nesta's fight against Lanthys in the Prison

Nesta mastering herself during her fight with Cassian about their mating bond and choosing not to hurt him with her words

Nesta, Emerie, and Gwyn fighting off a group of random Illyrians during the Blood Rite like a single Valkyrie unit

YES I COULD

i am SO glad you asked i love this concept very much

it's based on the way that people who work with big cats will often work with them until the animals allow them to touch their teeth, which is mainly so that they are able to do periodic examinations and so they won't flip out if they need dental work or something like that, but it's also a huge show of trust between animal and handler

for simplicity's sake, i'll go through the ghouls with the idea that it's copia or terzo doing this, with some extras for those who have notably different responses to other ghouls doing this rather than their papa

headcanons about ghouls getting their teefies examined under the cut!

aether is a very good boy, his ears go down a little when copia approaches him with the intent of touching his teeth, but he opens right up when asked and will hold still for as long as he needs to. but he will be whining softly in the back of his throat the whole time, and when he's done he looks a little bit like he's going to cry. it's very stressful for him but he Will Do It when asked

cirrus does not like it AT ALL. copia was shocked when he asked her to open up for him the first time and she pinned her ears and growled at him. he tried to be placating, explaining that it's necessary, but she wasn't having it. they had to call in backup (mountain) to hold her still and even then she was still shrieking and squalling like she's being killed. copia had to learn how to be very quick about it, and the second cirrus gets to have her teeth back she shakes it off and acts like nothing happened at all (only cumulus and mountain have any chance at touching her teeth without it being a full-on fight for their lives)

cumulus is very cooperative! she kinda really loves it actually, she already has her mouth wide open and teeth bared for examining before copia even gets close enough to touch, all ^.^ cause she knows she's got good teeth and that the others aren't quite as willing. and also, she'll never admit it but she likes the attention and the praise when copia says her teeth are surprisingly much sharper than they look (he definitely nicked his fingers the first time and she kissed it better)

dew is...temperamental, to no one's surprise. when copia approaches to examine his teeth, the phrase "if looks could kill" still doesn't scratch the surface of the death glare dew gives him. he scowls and growls and resists when copia slips his thumb into the side of his mouth, but he's surprisingly patient once he's in there. dew won't allow it forever, so copia has to be pretty quick about it or he definitely will lose fingers. there's also plenty of times when dew straight up refuses, and they have to call in aether or rain to pry his mouth open and hold him still

with terzo he was a little more willing, partly because terzo spent the whole time telling him how pretty and sharp his teeth are & he took pride in that. it took several months before he allowed terzo to touch his teeth though, and even longer with copia

mountain keeps up a low, terrifying growl the entire time copia approaches, ears pinned and everything, but the second copia starts to reach for his mouth he opens it himself rather than having to be made to open up. he still keeps up that growl but surprisingly, he's willing to hold still for as long as copia wants to poke around in there (after copia figured that part out, there was one time he spent quite a while, absolutely fascinated by how sharp mountain's molars are and his sets of long double canines)

rain doesn't like this at all. he will cooperate, because he respects and trusts copia, and he won't growl or anything but his mouth does start to slowly close down the longer copia takes, a subtle threat to hurry the fuck up or lose a finger. there's been a few close calls where copia wasn't paying enough attention (too focused on all the little razor sharp needle teeth between rain's canines and how it kinda looks like he's got two rows...) and had to jerk his hand back at the last second. as soon as copia's done, rain skitters off to go recover from the whole ordeal. swiss has special teeth touching privileges though, and rain accepts this from him with great affection.

swiss is surprisingly squirmy about it. he wants to be good, he really does, but there's just something about the feeling of fingers on his teeth that he really can't stand. especially when copia rubs across his molars, he's accidentally bitten down on him before (not enough to draw blood, and he apologized abundantly after, but. oops. copia is more gentle in the future). he definitely clings to copia's arm while his hand is in his mouth, and his tail is a damn weapon to anyone within range. copia wishes he could spend more time looking at swiss's teeth though, because he, like mountain, also has double canines, the outside ones not quite as long as mountain's but just as sharp. when he is done, he steps back and licks over his teeth & lips like a dog who's just been given a spoonful of peanut butter (which copia privately thinks its fricken adorable)

stratus likes to snap her teeth as copia approaches, but she's also grinning like a little imp. she thinks it's funny how he flinches a little and pretends like he doesn't, but when it comes down to it she opens wide and even pulls her tongue out of the way for him. but it's a bit of a trap; she won't fully chomp down on him, but she does gnaw on his hand while he's trying to feel around in her mouth. mostly she doesn't draw blood, but she does have lots of sharp little teeth like a kitten, so it happens on accident. don't worry though, she always licks it better (no matter how many times copia gently tries to explain to her that the healing properties of ghoul saliva doesn't really work on humans)

BONUS

alpha will absolutely refuse to let terzo anywhere near his mouth, except to bite him. (that's his story, anyway. they'll take it to their graves but he does let terzo check his teeth as long as there's absolutely no chance anyone else is anywhere nearby). he puts up a good fight with secondo but eventually relents, because secondo doesn't hesitate to get mean as fuck about it. and he doesn't get a choice with primo. with primo, he hardly gets the chance to think about it, the old man is extremely spry and very good at lulling alpha into the false complacency with conversation, and then he springs it on alpha and the whole thing is over before he even processes what happened.

(and just for shits and giggles, and because i have been talking about them lately: he growls and glares the whole time when swiss pries his mouth open, putting up a good front. but he always lets swiss poke around in his mouth for as long as he wants and he always opens up on the first ask. (this wasn't true the first time, or several times after that; he put up a good fight but swiss eventually won, because he always does))

omega is a good boy for terzo and only terzo. even then he still resists a little, tipping his head up out of reach until terzo reaches up to slip his thumb into the corner of his mouth, and once he gets his mouth open, he's very good and patient, doesn't even whine like aether. with secondo, he definitely resists a bit more, tossing his head around even as he verbally agrees to open up, he won't at first. again though, good boy once his mouth is open. primo asks him once, and barely gives him the chance to answer before he does the same thing he does to alpha, quick as a damn snake and it's over before he knows it. though sometimes primo will spend a while exploring inside his mouth, he mostly is just very deft and professional about it.

ifrit is the goodest boy. he loves having his teeth examined and likes to follow terzo's fingers around in his mouth with his tongue, fascinated to feel what terzo is feeling. he always asks if he passed after, and terzo smiles at him and says his teeth are in excellent form as always. sometimes he tracks down his bestie swisstopher and just goes :V at him until swiss pokes around in his mouth and ifrit purrs at him the whole time. he loves it.

mist is okay with it, you have to catch her in the right mood (which terzo has terrible luck with). he learned quickly that if she's not having it, it's best to give up and try again later because he's liable to lose half his fingers and his bassist if he pushes it. if she is in a cooperative mood though, she's still not exactly nice about it. she gives him a nasty side-eye the whole time and barely opens her mouth wide enough for him to get a couple fingers in there. however, she almost always will let omega into her mouth, so terzo mostly just lets him handle that. they have a weird relationship, built on high levels of mutual respect while also keeping each other in check & being unafraid to call each other on their shit.

chAir is an absolute monster if anyone but ifrit tries to open his mouth, and even then he Grumbles and growls about how ridiculous and demeaning this is. ifrit just shrugs and keeps at it, says it's important and has to be done, a ghoul's teeth are vital organs. to which chAir scoffs and mutters something about doubting whether or not ifrit would even know if anything is amiss if he thinks teeth are organs. (ifrit and chAir also have a strange relationship, in which ifrit adores chAir and chAir is a grumpy old man who begrudgingly accepts ifrit's affections)

terzo tries to insist that his human dentist knows what they're doing, but omega insists he hush and let him look. he is fascinated by terzo's blunt molars and his tiny, cute little canines, and spends quite some time running his fingertips over the smooth edges of his teeth until terzo's jaw aches.

copia thinks it's very sweet of his ghouls to try to check his teeth, but he also has a dentist and can they please do this one at a time and not four of them at once. mountain wants to know how his eensy flat molars chew anything at all, stratus says that he ought to sharpen his teeth more often and is puzzled when copia explains that it doesn't work like that. swiss spends a while prodding at the sharpest edges he can find and laments that he can't get any of them to prick his fingertips, and how it must be difficult for copia to live like this, unable to bite his partners effectively. dew thinks copia is doing this for attention (he also wants to poke around in copia's mouth, but he'll never admit it).
