Hello Implosion Enthusiasts! Spring has finally arrived, days are longer, flowers are blooming and the EI team has been knee deep in spring cleaning. We've been working hard to ensure everything runs smoother than last year!

There's still a few months until the Implosion, but we would already like to share with you the updated

Ecto-Implosion 2024 Schedule!

You heard that right! The schedule's all ready to go! But first let's address a few important changes from last year.

Partner Check-Ins! Similarly to our sister event @invisobang, we're gonna implement two partner check-ins. This is to ensure that everyone has been able to reach out to their partners. Shortened Schedule! This year, we're making an effort to embrace the "mini" part of this minibang. Therefore we're shortening down the event to only 3 months.

There will be a separate post coming out about changes in rules, check-in criteria etc.

NOW. The moment you've all been waiting for! We're glad to announce that we'll be seeing you again, when the sign-ups open on September 1st!

Signups Are OPEN!

Good morning, Supernatural fandom! Signups for the Destiel Beatles Mini Bang are now open for writers, artists, and betas!

Writer signups will be open until January 20, with song assignments going out on January 21. You can sign up as a writer HERE. (Please make sure to read the full form description for signup instructions.)

Artist signups will be open until March 17. Claims will be held March 23-24. You can sign up as an artist HERE.

Beta signups will remain open throughout the entire bang. You can sign up as a beta HERE.

Once you have signed up, a mod will email you with the Discord invite. Discord is not obligatory, but is encouraged since the server is the only place fics can be discussed prior to claims.

This is my contribution to this year’s minibang ! I was partnered with the wonderful @emotigonecreative to draw a scene from their amazing fic, as well as the talented and amazing artist @redead-red !!

This was my first time ever participating in the minibang and it was SO fun. Truth be told I had no idea what I was doing / meant to do a majority of the time, so a BIG thank you to my wonderful partners for showing me the ropes.

Announcing the Destiel Beatles Minibang!

Hello, Supernatural and Beatles fans!

Some of you might recall that a few months ago, there was an interest check to see if people would want to hold a Beatles-themed Destiel bang. Enough of you said yes that we are moving ahead with the project.

Writers will be assigned a song from the Beatles catalog and write a new story of at least 5,000 words. Artists will then claim fics based on the summary and create 1 new piece of art and 1 banner to go with it.

Sign-ups open on November 19 (one month from now) and remain open until January 20 for writers and March 17 for artists, so you have plenty of time to decide if you want to participate.
