I just wanted to say, darlings, that genuinely the dp x dc fandom is a delight. I have espoused to other fandom friends how fun it is to create for- how freeing.

You all are down for any canon changes and twists and warping. I can sit and write a story world building it one way and you'll all read along nodding and then in another story with the same characters completely change everything and you'll be there for that too. I can do as much or as little research as I want. I can horde or discard what I want. I can jump from ship to ship to found family at will.

And you all turn out for it in droves. The engagement and encouragement and passion and creations in this fandom are genuinely amazing.

We aren't a perfect fandom- no fandom is. There are some bad cores and hateful people or just people who haven't learned yet the reality of being in a fandom space, but they're easy enough to avoid or block. And oh how the good outweighs the bad!

So don't let anyone cause you to forget how good this fandom is or make you feel less for it verse the parent fandom. I'm so happy to have stumbled into it and the inspiration that it is and the joy that it's been to create for.

Hey so i have been seeing this sukuna hates yuji thing very often and i feel like sukuna is still indifferent to him very much as I don't see difference in his behavior even after chp 248 .

Did I miss something?

I think we see Sukuna’s attitude towards Yuuji quite differently. To me, between the two of them, the person who’s been showing indifference, has been Yuuji. 

In the beginning Yuuji had tried to establish some rapport with Sukuna. He even approached him with some dose of sense of humour right after Sukuna ripped his heart out. 

But the moment he realised Sukuna can’t be reasoned with, when Sukuna refused to help Junpei and mocked Yuuji for asking, Yuuji crossed over to cold hatred. He repeatedly doesn’t let Sukuna bait him. Not when Sukuna blames Yuuji for people’s death in chapter 63, not when Sukuna tries to get Yuuji to keep quiet when they meet Angel. Yuuji just dismisses him. Even Yuuji’s reaction to Shibuya isn’t directed at Sukuna. It’s directed inward. He hates Sukuna but in a passive way, he prioritises other things. Trying to do at least something good after Shibuya, getting Gojou out, saving Megumi. Sukuna is an obstacle, but Yuuji tries to engage with him as little as possible.

The opposite is true for Sukuna. He talks to Yuuji, he tries to actively torment Yuuji and constantly questions Yuuji and his worldview. Tries to mock Yuuji.

I personally don’t like the word hate, when it comes to Sukuna’s attitude towards Yuuji. I think Yuuji unsettles him, causes him discomfort, irks him. Yuuji’s existence and especially perseverance go against what Sukuna believes to be true. He believes that only power matters and those who can’t go toe to toe with the strong are insignificant. He deems their lives to be pointless misery. Yuuji on the other hand cherishes human life, it matters to him on a very personal level. 

And even though Yuuji seems weak to Sukuna, someone not on par with him. Still Yuuji has power over Sukuna, he might be the only one apart from maybe Kenjaku and possibly Tengen that has ever had true power over him. Anyone else he can kill and keep his independence from, but Yuuji. He needed a plan, he needed to trick Yuuji into a binding vow to get out. 

When Sukuna was inside, Yuuji unsettled and irked him. But now Sukuna is slightly drifting towards fascination. He’s been introspecting a bunch after he got out from Yuuji, he asked Yuuji directly why he keeps going. He is trying to understand, while he never does that for Yorozu, Gojou or Kashimo. The groupies don’t interest him because they represent the status quo he’s always believed in. Yuuji is its contradiction, a glitch in the system Sukuna’d lived by before they cohabited a body. Sukuna ignores everyone else who’s jumping him. The only other person who’s sparked his curiosity is Maki. Though with her it’s more of a jujutsu nerd kind of curiosity. Yuuji interests him on a far more personal level. 

Of course he’s trying to put on a dismissive front, he constantly insults and diminishes Yuuji, but he’s also constantly thinking about Yuuji. It’s kinda “the babygirl doth protest too much, methinks”.  Especially that Yuuji is still not giving a rat’s ass about Sukuna. It’s kinda like notice me at this point. Like: I can’t get you out of my head, react to my crude cries for attention.

how do we think this arc of q!bad will develop? I have some thoughts

The Federation HAS to know by now that their worker was kidnapped. and if they don’t know it’s Bad’s fault already, they’ll probably figure it out very soon because they have eyes everywhere. harming a federation representative is one of the major rule violations, so. what are they gonna do as their response?

Will we get confirmation of the special guest theory if they literally don’t do anything against him again, just like his previous violations? simply let him do as he pleases? or they could surprise me and deal out some severe punishment, that would be fun. lock him up somewhere. though maybe they’ll actually encourage his destructive behavior instead, because they wanna see this guy go more insane for some reason

And what is q!Bad’s goal? obviously to get the kids back yeah. but he says it’s all going all according to plan, what exactly is the plan…? he’s torturing that worker for information but hasn’t gotten very solid leads yet- it honestly seems to me like he’s using it more as a twisted stress release based on what he said to q!Fit. Then he continues to put himself in the soul vulture cage over and over. Is he creating soulsteal potions? planning to go full war mode on the Federation with them? using them on the worker?

Every day, people are getting more and more concerned about him and recognize that he needs help, but he keeps deflecting them with the “oh, I’m just fine!” excuse. it’s going to get to the point where he can’t brush the attention off- because he can’t even see in color anymore, he doesn’t realize there’s blood on him and that it + his eye is turning terrifying soul blue like some sort of corruption. something is seriously wrong. what kind of consequences of his actions is this? what is happening to him???

I literally don’t know we’re fully in the dark and it makes me sooooo curious. there is many possibilities for this lore to be taken and all are incredibly interesting

Sometimes when I think of bungliushen I also end up thinking about how exhausting it must be for Liu Qingge.

I feel like it’s brushed off too much, the way Luo Binghe is often depicted taunting LQQ. Like, sometimes I think about SQQ confession and LQQ accepting it but in his mind he’s waiting for the other shoe to drop?

Binghe stops teasing him, but all those years of being told he wasn’t worthy of Shen Qingqiu, of losing to Binghe, of pining silently and seeing how happy the two were- always feeling out of place, the third wheel…

I don’t think it goes away.

And many times fics discuss how LQG thinks their confession is a joke or cruel prank- but I can imagine that fear lasting for much longer.

He wonders if Binghe truly likes him. If he’s worthy to be their partner, be it boyfriend or husband. He wonders if he deserves this. If they aren’t just acting out of pity.

More nsfw, but I imagine it follows him to the bedroom too.

Always second for Binghe, till he has to tap out because the floating he feels now feels like falling down a dark hole. Coming down off the high of pleasure and being struck with the feeling of exhaustion and cold, clarity making him overthink.

Degradation is fine, till it hits a sensitive spot and suddenly he’s spiraling, wondering if he’s nothing more then a toy for them- the third party to be their plaything, an accessory-

Cause I feel like someone seen as so prideful or bull-headed is also someone who is trying really hard. He wants to be strong, to be loved, but there’s fear- fear from past experiences, fear from what Binghe has said.

I think it's almost funny, in a bit of a sad way, that this tiny plastic (or wtv) thing has helped me more than all the therapists I've worked with combined. It has carried me through actual panic attacks, depressive episodes and hell, it was my most constant support during my first appointment for hrt.

DP headcannon:

The half ghost thing Danny has going on isn't permanent. And by that i mean thts Danny will eventually go full ghost. And while that "becoming a full ghost" process is happening, his living body slowly starts to fall apart. And decay. And rot.

He notices this a few weeks after the portal incident.

At first, he keeps it a secret, but then after months and months of fear and anxiety, he caves like any other 14 year old and tell his parents. Who are reasonably horrified.

And then Jack and Maddie go frantic trying to find a cure to fix it cause they love their son and don't want him to die and it's several blood tests and operations and medical procedures and tears and anxiety and desperation. It's a race against time to save their son. Their baby son whi goes fighting ghosts as a ghost himself but it's okay they can fix this, he's only half a ghost right??

And Danny of course, is not keeping it together. Cause what kid can keep it together while they're literally rotting from the inside.
