After waving farewell to Mark and wishing her well, Laslow dutifully follows the hosts to his next seat. He wonders who his next partner will be. A damsel in need of a charming hero? A stunning lady he can woo with his good looks? Perhaps a more stubborn ice queen type that will thaw around his heart-warming smile?
He lounges in the chair with effortless ease, adopting a carefree attitude as he reads the cards set before him.
What are the socio-economic consequences of increased banditry? pros and cons, please.
What kind of a question is that? He frowns, looking up at his partner once they're situated. Ah, not a lovely girl, this time. Laslow tries not to let his disappointment show.
"Hello! I'm Laslow, assistant sword professor with the Blue Lions. Bit of a mouthful, eh?" Free hand extends across the table for the other to shake. "Nice to meet you.!"
This one approaches from the direction of the tactician — Denning had made note of her and Marquess Ostias positions as he had entered, just for the sake of it. The man in turn was collateral information, though it is fortunate that it came into use. He seems the social, 'amicable' sort: The perfect kind of person to make a positive impression upon within the constraints of the average expectation for such a meeting.
The question is somewhat puzzling, however, especially in comparison with the earlier one. Perhaps testing is being done with nonstandard parameters to diversify results. Many of their kin were made to be such variables. A worthwhile apprach. Golden eyes watch his approach, and thee morphs hands move in greeting — A horizontal stroke of flat hands, two fingers meeting like two people would, and a point towards the other's person. nice to meet you.
"Denning." He rasps in return, taking the other's hand in his gloved one in a firm shake, then retreats to tap his own voicebox, then his notepad.
Again, a slender hand reaches for the provided note and turns it towards Laslow in prompting. what do you think?

Hector
Pit: Wait, I think I recognize this guy! It's Lyn's friend, Hector! Palutena: That's right, Pit! Hector is the Marquess of Ostia, and the future father of Roy's friend, Lilina. He's also a lifelong friend of Lyn and Roy's father, Eliwood. Viridi: That axe he's carrying... It's crackling with destiny. Palutena: Hm... You're right. But, that's for future Hector. Right now, he's as reckless as ever, and as solid as a rock! Pit, he'll be a bit hard to launch thanks to his heavy armor, but Armads might be the least of your worries. Pit: Wait, why? Palutena: Because he also has a Hand Axe. They tend to curve upwards when thrown, so they're the perfect weapon to take out flying targets like you. Pit: Gulp...
Don-chan
Pit: It's Don-chan! Ba-Dum ka, Da-dum, Ba-dum, Da-dum- Palutena: I see you're finding your rhythm. Pit: I can't help it! His drumming is so infectious! Viridi: I'd imagine so, since he's a walking, talking taiko drum. Palutena: Of course, being a taiko drum, Don-chan is all about moves that involve a little sound. Pit, watch out for his Taiko Beat! He has two kinds of projectiles for this move, Dons and Kats! Viridi: Also, that tackle attack he can do electrifies him! What do drums even have to do with electricity? Pit: Uh, rolling thunder and rolling drums! Viridi: Yeah, I guess that's fair.

minimize the valor of your heroes. extinguish them altogether.
hero mastery; word count - 866
"...and Roland raised the great Blazing Blade high over his head -" Papa lifted his arms high, then plunged down into the pile of blankets, Raymond and Priscilla shrieking and dodging his grasping hands and reaching fingers, "and slew the mighty dragons!"
He caught them, as he always did, tickling the two children until all three gasped for breath and collapsed into a pile on the four poster bed.
Snuggling closer to his father's side, Raymond reached over, prodding gently a teasing finger into his sister's belly until she swatted him away, and he looked up, delighted, into his father's face, red from exertion. "Papa, can I one day be just like Roland? Can I one day slay dragons, too?"
It was dreadful boring, he thought, in Cornwell, where it often rained, and they were surrounded by trees but none of the excitement that seemed to thrive in the larger cities. Perhaps if he'd the chance, when he grew up, he'd set out on his own adventure, make his own name.
Papa was thoughtful for a moment. "There aren't dragons anymore, dear boy, didn't you hear the story?" He tickled his son's sides once more before settling back comfortably. "But Roland went onto be the first Marquess Ostia."
"But we're of his blood, aren't we, father?" Raymond insisted, his brow pinching with a gravity that made his father laugh. "I can be Marquess Ostia if I wanted to."
"No, dear boy – that role is already taken. But you'll be Marquess Cornwell after me – wouldn't that be lovely?" He tweaked Raymond's nose, and the boy swatted the hand away in irritation.
"I don't wanna be stuck in Cornwell all my life!" He declared, hopping up to his feet on the top of the bed, striking a pose that made his sister giggle. So encouraged, he swung his arms about in a facsimile of swordplay, clumsy in his seven-year-old body. "I wanna be a Little Hero, just like he was!"
"Little Hero!" Priscilla parroted, dropping back into the intense giggles that had wracked her body moments ago.
The giggles turned to shrieks, turned to screams, echoing off of the cavern walls as he felt the crunch of his bones, over, over, over and over and over -
Even now, though he knew he had been revived, healed by some primordial sorcery, if he reached up a hand to rub at his sternum, he could feel the gentle crackling of his lungs splitting underneath the shards of bone, his heart beating furiously in rebellion of the inevitable.
Every time he woke since returning, every waking gasp felt like the death rattle shaking in his ears, but it wasn't. The sun continued to shine, the wind continued to blow, and the residents of Garreg Mach monastery continued to smile and laugh and live.
And so, too, it seemed, must he live. Must he continue to walk these halls, eyes glazed over as he moved from one hall to another, unfocused as he drowned himself in sweat in the training hall, running the same drills over and over, dissatisfied with the results, needed to be stronger, needed to be faster -
His efforts had not gone unnoticed. Where before there had been those who had approached him with caution, hesitant and watching from a distance before greeting him, now he was greeted with warm smiles, easy requests for his assistance, and he helped, for what else could he have done?
The helmet stared at him from across the room, nestled as it was in the linens of his dormitory bed, its black, hollow eyes expectant as they watched him from where he leaned against the desk.
I wanna be a Little Hero!
He felt the crack of his bones as the debris continued to crumble down, the strike of great stone paws against his gut, the shearing of flesh against the acrid burning lance, the claws raking across his arms, his shoulders, the top of his head. He felt the heaviness of his comrades' stares as he spoke, offered himself, supplicated for something they all sought, they all wanted for their own reasons, but he was the only one stupid enough to ask...
Just like he was!
Raven cocked his head. The gaze followed his, dark and empty and feline and hateful and naïve and hopeful. He cocked his head in the other direction, and the gaze yet followed, crimson and emerald and shining and laughing, ringing brightly in his ears.
If he reached out his hand, his fingertips might have brushed against the burnished metal, felt the grain as intensely as each rippling heartbeat in his chest.
If he lifted it over his head, he might have felt the tip of its crest slant forward, the weight of it secure around his skull, gripping, muffling the sounds of the world around him.
He averted his gaze, couldn't stand to look at the thing any longer.
When next he stepped onto the field of battle, he needed no ostentatious display, no pomp or flourish to let the enemy know that he was the danger, and he was there for them. He would let his sword say that for him.

Chapter 13: Light (Section 8)
(All text is under cut for spoilers)
After returning home safely to Lycia, Eliwood inherited the title of Marquess Pherae. His life shifted immediately from war to politics. His work often left him exhausted, but Ninian was always by his side to support him.
They have a son named Roy, who will one day fight in a war that will once again shake the continent of Elibe.
Hector became Marquess Ostia after Uther's sudden death. Though his grief over the loss of his brother and the pressure he was under as marquess of Lycia's main house weighed heavily on him, with his beloved Florina cheering him on, he grew to become an even greater marquess than his brother.
Lyn tended to her grandfather's bedside until his death, then abdicated rule of Caelin to Ostia, and left on a journey to Sacae. There, she reunited with and married Rath, son of the Kutolah Tribe's chieftain. They are raising their daughter in comfort with the blessings of nature.
Marcus and Merlinus became fast friends, and continued to serve Eliwood. Marcus became the combat instructor for Pherae’s noble family, while Merlinus managed their finances. Both became widely-known as loyal retainers of House Pherae.
Isadora returned to her post as Eleanora’s guard. Lowen completed the ceremony to become a full-fledged knight. Rebecca also became a formal retainer of Pherae, and later, at the request of the marquess and his wife, became their son's wet nurse.
Oswin became Hector's strategist, and Matthew continued to serve Ostia alongside him as a spy. Serra was busy for a time broadening her personal endeavors, but lately, she once again seems to have more free time than she knows what to do with.
After Caelin's territory was placed under Ostia’s rule, Kent served as its steward. His partner Sain resigned and traveled the continent as a free knight. Wherever each of them went, the two remained close friends. Wil returned to his post as a knight, and continued to demonstrate the full extent of his archery skills.
Noblewoman Priscilla and mercenary Guy fell in love, but he attempted to give up pursuing her due to the gap in their social standing. However, her tears made him resolve to elope instead. Her smile when she took his hand was the most brilliant of all her smiles across her entire life.
When Raven confessed everything to Hector, the marquess offered to have his territory reinstated. However, Raven rejected the proposal, and returned with Lucius to his carefree life as a mercenary. Lucius felt overwhelming happiness at the expression on his lord’s face when Raven became free of the weight upon his heart.
Nino and Jaffar were wed after the war. They were blessed with twin boys and lived happily, but when they were found by bounty hunters pursuing the remaining members of the Black Fang, their whereabouts became unknown.
After Athos' passing, Pent stepped down as mage general, and continued the research the archsage left unfinished. Doing so caused an uproar, but he did so completely carefree, in the names of his wife and future children.
Erk was next in line to become mage general after Pent retired, but he declined. He gave his life to magic research alongside his teacher.
Dorcas used his pay to buy the medicine his wife needed, and returned home to her. Bartre set out on a journey wandering the continent to become a true warrior. According to rumor, he fell in love with and married his own arch-enemy.
After the battle, Legault traveled around each country in search of the lost remaining members of the Black Fang, and pointed them towards new paths in life. Everything he did, was all in the name of the friends he had lost…
And so, the fight against Nergal ended without it ever having to cross the center stage of the continent of Elibe.
At Bramimond’s order, Hector and Eliwood sealed away both Durandal and Armads. Bramimond also once again sealed away all of the other remaining Legendary Weapons across the continent.
They wished that none would ever have to use their power again, too great for human hands…
But they did not remember at the time of Athos' foretelling during the final battle of a bad omen…

hector with an anxious s/o
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: hector x gn!reader
summary: hector always knows when you feel anxious and helps you get some alone time...
Tumblr media
hector can be a bit oblivious at times and he didn't notice right away how anxious you tended to be
to him, it seemed more like you were shy and he attempted to help you gain confidence by dragging you along to hang out with the rest of the army
but that ended up backfiring, as you got too overwhelmed in a huge crowd…
you ended up explaining to hector that big groups of people make you anxious and that you easily get overwhelmed around too many people
as soon as he got that, he promised to help you out in those types of situations from now on!
and he really did, as the next time everyone was gathered in a big group, he kept his eyes on you, making sure you weren't feeling uncomfortable
as soon as he did notice you seemed a bit uneasy, he made up an excuse for the two of you and took you on a quiet walk, allowing you to relax a little and recharge your energy
at all events after that, hector always made sure to create an opportunity for you to get some time by yourself
and since he was the (soon-to-be) marquess of ostia, nobody dared to complain when the two of you vanished together…

28. A memory that strains a relationship
Pherae may not be seen as one of the larger powers in the Lycian League, but many lords and ladies of other territories envied the prestige and loyalty of its elite guard. The men and women that had sworn themselves to Lord Elbert's service were the finest knights Pherae had to offer; skilled in not just combat and tactics, but savvy in politics and social demands as well. If Lord Elbert left Castle Pherae, he was often accompanied by one or two such guards.
It was rare for all of them to leave the castle and Pherae's borders, but they did so one evening at the behest of their troubled liege.
It would be the last time such a sight was seen.
There had been dark rumors afoot, ever since Marquess Pherae was called to a meeting by Marquess Laus. Rebellion, war looming on the horizon like a storm ready to break. Pherae was tied closely to Ostia -- politically, personally -- and Lord Elbert was a good and loyal man. If there were outsiders creeping in to Lycia, stirring up ideas of insurrection against the head of the league, Lord Elbert wished to see it handled diplomatically before any casualties could be suffered.
Black Fang. Fetid tendrils that curled out, reaching, from the mountains of Bern. Hooded men and women, shrouded in something darker than any man made material could be; eyes that shimmered like filigree.
Their master did not glisten with the same veneer. Instead, there was an eerie gloom about him. Unnatural, wrong.
Lord Elbert shone like holy fire in contrast.
There were few words exchanged. Nergal offered honeyed words, Lord Elbert denied him. Nergal made threats of the darkest kind, and still, Lord Elbert stood his ground. His knights surrounded him, shields raised and weapons at the ready.
They were not prepared for the raw power that struck them.
The earth trembled, the very air itself seemed to shake at the wrongness of this magic. Wispy, dark clouds seemed to pour around Nergal, the discordant crackle of lightning offering surprisingly little illumination and sound as black holes chaotically ripped through their line of defense.
Harken expected to hear something to go along with the physical destruction of the spell, but the blast was muted in his ears. People and horses were thrown in several different directions at once, clumps of dirt and grass dislodged from the earth in the wake of the pull and push of dark magic.
Then, as if a thick window had been shattered, the disoriented screams of his comrades struck him like a slap to the face. There were no rallying cries, only pain and fear; some did not even live long enough to realize they were dead. The shrieks of their horses intermingled with them as they bucked and ran in animalistic fear; their wounds eating away at their flesh like a sickness, red ringed darkness crawling along their bodies.
The hooded figures stepped into the chaos like they were not apart of it, bending over still bodies and.
N̵̥̳̍o̷̩̭̠̯̮͍̍̾͂ͅt̷̨͈͈͍͑̇̑̾͘̚͘h̷̛͈̱͕̹̐͗̿̓͜͝ͅi̴̡̜̺͂̉͗̃́̀̇̇n̷͚̦̗̅̾̈́̋͌̉͘ģ̸̯͍͓̋.̸̡̢̼̜̪̙̬͗ ̵͙̱̩̠̻͈̟͉̦̏̀̀̐̆̃͒͛́͜N̵͇̱̓̒́͂̓̈́̈́̕͝o̴̥̪͆t̷̨̬̟̯̰̬̖̍̅̾̏h̸̛͇͕̮̑̐̐î̷͉ń̴̡̤̞͍̬͖̘͈͒̾͆̚g̷̭͓̹̹̻̎́̒̌͠.̶̖̰͒̃͂.̵̮͉̙̓͆̑̈́́̌̀̎̾́ ̶̡̟͙̹̥̇̎̆̃̇́̉͋͠͝N̷̢̯̲̦̼̊̎͛͠o̵͙̠̼̳̗̙̾ẗ̷̤̖̝̗́̏̈́̀̓̆̾̚h̸̞̬̤̟̜̫͛̀̅̀͌̓͒͘͘̚ị̵̢̡̦̟͋̈͐͂̈́ņ̷͐̔̏̏̂͆̿̂̽g̶̖͖̫͑͂̌̄͘.̷͙̼͙̙̺͉̟̯̖͊̌̾.̵̹͈̙̤̳̝̌̓̈́̇̐̽̋͘ͅ.̴͈̮͈̅͋͊́̍̋̈
"My lord!" his voice does not seem to carry, not over the screams and the fear and the strange vacuum of noise as another round of magic gears up to hammer down on their shattered line. He is scrambling over bodies and torn up earth, eyes wide and blood pounding in his ears.
Lord Elbert lives. He is dirtied and bloodied -- not his, not his, the knights' around him, Saints above -- but he is still seated atop his white steed. The animal, though frightened, has kept its control and hasn't attempted to bolt yet. But the fear in its eyes mirrors Harken's own, and he can see foam gathering at its mouth as it tosses its head and backs up. He reaches for the reins, grips them tight, makes sure the horse is under control.
"My lord, you must leave! Run!" Harken begs, pulling Elbert's horse around several eroding bodies -- he knew them, he knew them -- so that he'd have a better chance at making a run for it. There were so few of his comrades left, so few of them had even been able to fight back -- but he was Lord Elbert's knight, and if he was to die in his defense as his lord escaped this dark fate, Harken would gladly do so over and over again.
"No, I cannot--!"
Another muted crash behind them. Too close, far too close.
N̵̥̳̍o̷̩̭̠̯̮͍̍̾͂ͅt̷̨͈͈͍͑̇̑̾͘̚͘h̷̛͈̱͕̹̐͗̿̓͜͝ͅi̴̡̜̺͂̉͗̃́̀̇̇n̷͚̦̗̅̾̈́̋͌̉͘ģ̸̯͍͓̋.̸̡̢̼̜̪̙̬͗ ̵͙̱̩̠̻͈̟͉̦̏̀̀̐̆̃͒͛́͜N̵͇̱̓̒́͂̓̈́̈́̕͝o̴̥̪͆t̷̨̬̟̯̰̬̖̍̅̾̏h̸̛͇͕̮̑̐̐î̷͉ń̴̡̤̞͍̬͖̘͈͒̾͆̚g̷̭͓̹̹̻̎́̒̌͠.̶̖̰͒̃͂.̵̮͉̙̓͆̑̈́́̌̀̎̾́ ̶̡̟͙̹̥̇̎̆̃̇́̉͋͠͝N̷̢̯̲̦̼̊̎͛͠o̵͙̠̼̳̗̙̾ẗ̷̤̖̝̗́̏̈́̀̓̆̾̚h̸̞̬̤̟̜̫͛̀̅̀͌̓͒͘͘̚ị̵̢̡̦̟͋̈͐͂̈́ņ̷͐̔̏̏̂͆̿̂̽g̶̖͖̫͑͂̌̄͘.̷͙̼͙̙̺͉̟̯̖͊̌̾.̵̹͈̙̤̳̝̌̓̈́̇̐̽̋͘ͅ.̴͈̮͈̅͋͊́̍̋̈
Harken blinks back to with dirt showering down on his face, ringing in his ears and a shifting weight pinning him to the ground. He stares for a moment at the sky above, confusion sitting heavy in his mind like a blanket. He tries to get up, move, dazed and slow.
He can't. He can't move his legs.
A gasp chokes out of his throat, pain flooding through the confusion of his mind like a burst dam. His gaze shifts down from the sky to the form of Elbert's great white steed thrown across his lower half. The animal was still clinging to life, even as those same red ringed wounds spoiled its once flawless coat of snow. It pawed at the stirred ground in desperation, sides heaving unevenly. Every breath, every twitch and thrash, Harken felt in his crushed legs.
He tries to push the doomed horse off of himself, but his struggling only seems to garner the attention of one of the golden eyed figures. They stare at him, unblinking. No breath, no shifting of weight, not even the slight sway of maintaining balance. They stand like a suit of armor on a rack, hollow on the inside.
Voices, somewhere out of his sight, draws Harken's gaze away from glittering gold. He cannot tell what is being said, but he can recognize Lord Elbert's voice even through the haze of everything else.
"My...My lord--!" he gasps out, voice raw, his efforts to free himself renewed as he remembered his place, his purpose, his--
The man staring down at him raises a hand to his pale lips, a single finger pressing close, still unblinking. "Shhhh," they hush him, soft, gentle, not unkind but not merciful either.
Harken's breath comes in short, panicked bursts through his mouth. He strains to see anything of Lord Elbert, hear him again.
"Don't be afraid. It's not the first time you'll die. Lord Nergal has no use for someone such as you, so you are free to go. Worry not, we shall care for your lord in your absence."
The man smiled, eyes still watching, before leaving his limited field of vision.
There were no more voices, no more screams or signs of movement besides his own. Harken shouted into the void until his voice left him.
He wasn't able to get out from under Lord Elbert's steed until days later. The trail was faint, but that was alright. His comrades had seen everything.

mille-feuille - do they believe friends can become lovers? if so, when does love transcend from platonic to romantic? if not, why?
[ love headcanons ]
Of course they can.
It isn’t necessarily what he’s expecting out of life for himself, not as a marquess whose family seems to rock the unfortunate trend of kicking the bucket early, but why shouldn’t that be possible? Yeah, yeah, there’s supposedly a chance of ruining your friendship trying to move things forward, but staying quiet is for cowards.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained, y’know?
Easy for him to say, though - again, he doesn’t necessarily think it something he’ll have to contend with in the future. Given his prospects in Fodlan (lol), he figures odds are he’ll wind up in Elibe with some broad Ostia’s council has arranged for him, and that’ll be that.
(As for when this hypothetical love between friends would transcend from platonic to romantic… ??? He has no damn clue, my guy. He’d be playing it by instinct, 100%. He'd just... know, right? That is how it works, isn't it? What do you mean it isn't how it works-)

it's not that visible since the lycian protags are both the Upstanding Pherae Boys, but damn, Lycia is a fucking snake pit. Like, just gesturing at fe6, the sheer amount of people stabbing each other on whether to side with Bern or not, including one assassination.
Then of course fe7 gives us the Caelin Succession Crisis, and expands on the whole Ostian Spy Network thing, so hector and lilina are no strangers to lycian shady shit either. We got two whole generations of Laus marquesses really invested in killing off their competition.
Honestly i'm convinced Lycia became a kingdom after fe6 just because so many marquesses are dead that all the territory would go to Ostia anyway. If you unite it with Pherae, the only state still standing besides Ostia, no duh you already have total control over the country.

Uther Lives AU
Uther knew he was sick for the longest time, and he was doing his best to keep it a secret. The only people who knew how bad he was getting was Oswin and the healers, and in canon, he died while Hector was away. But what if the healers were able to, well, heal him properly?
Uther was still very weak when he first met with Eliwood and Hector, but Oswin would tell something was different about him. They had a chance to talk in private before Uther returned to Ostia.
Uther would explain he was getting better, and would express that if he was well enough that he would like to join them in their fight against the Black Fang. Oswin told him not to worry about it, and that Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn would take care of it with the help of the army.
Uther returned to Ostia, where he would continue his recovery. Slowly but surely, all his illness would leave his body, and he would return to mostly full strength. He would start training with his lance once again.
When the army returned to Ostia, Uther would greet them and allow them to stay. He was there as Athos explained everything with his relationship with Nergal and what they needed to do to stop him.
When Nergal’s morphs attack, Uther finally makes up his mind. Ever since he recovered, his lack of action against Nergal bothered him, and the attack on Ostia gave him a chance to act.
Uther joins the battle at the start of the chapter, much to everyone’s shock. He starts as a Great Lord with an A rank in lance and a B rank in axes.
After the battle is over, Uther tells them that he’s joining them to end Nergal. Oswin and Hector speak up to try to stop him, but he had already made up his mind. He was tired of not being able to do anything.
After the final battle, Uther returns to watch over Ostia, continuing to be its marquess. Hector supports his brother, having a better understanding of him now.
He would never marry despite growing older in age so when he finally passes, Hector and later Lilina took over as marquess.
Possible Ending
Marquess Uther
Uther returned to Otsia and lived a long life as her marquess. While he never wed, he had a long life surrounded by his friends and family.

"It needs more sugar…" “(Laughter)” “Ah! It’s still hot…”  “Mm.. tasty.” “Hm?”   “I agree.” “You think so?”
ENDING.   ❂

Note
Someone like them should not be here, the horrendous mimics of human life, one of Nergal's morphs. What right did they have to be at such an important place like the academy? Poor thing, was it aimless now without orders from its master?
"You." His words spit like venom from a snake's mouth, violet eyes bearing right into the blank ones of the mimic. He didn't care which one this was, they were all the same. They had all wanted to aid Nergal in his horrible goal, obdient to a tee and nothing more. What a cruel estimation of life.
"Why are you here." It's not a question, but rather a demand of an answer, cold and callous. Erk needed an answer, some way of knowing what the purpose of the mimics was after their master was dead and gone.
Did they even have one anymore?
A young human mage. Denning recognises him, if dimly — His accent Etrurian, his magic ferocious, his violet locks and red cloak bright in the memory of the attack on Ostia; A mage among the now-Marquess' 'friends'.
He approaches. Denning stills, ichor coolly meeting fanged gaze, unflinching at a pointed tone. Venom means nothing to a frame that does not respond to it. It gives it all the more time for it to respond to the question — Because those words, in that configuration, cannot be anything but. So it is that it answers.
Why is it here?
To serve a hand that would take it.
Because of the silence. Because of the idleness. Because it had nowhere else to go.
That much is evident. It is a simple answer — Why must he ask?
Slowly, the morph cocks its head, a rattle in the back of its throat.
'empty', it replies. "Dread Isle," a counterfeit voice supplements, a mockery of a mockery.
Yes, that is an answer. An index finger creeps upwards to rest at the crest of its lip, a wordless hush.

Kind of off topic but
While the ending for Lyn usually involves going back to Sacae, if I ever took up Lyn as a muse, and had a post-Blazing Sword verse, I would likely say 'fuck that' and she would likely actually be a wandering nomad, wandering the border between Bern and Sacae, since that's were most of the brigands live, hunting them down and killing them.
She did swear she would avenge her tribe, after all. I think she mentioned the bandits who killed her tribe were the Taliver bandits, so she would, at the very least, hunt them down and kill each and every one of them.
She MIGHT take one of the newest members of the bandits under her wing and train them, if they manage to appeal to her mercy. Heck, she might be willing to recruit more, when she realises that some of them don't want to be bandits, but don't have any choice. Like Dorcas was.
And during Binding Blade? She would likely keep at it. She might engage some of Bern's forces, but mostly she would stick to keeping the area free of bandits. After all, with most of the Lords focusing on the war, the bandits would be allowed to roam even more freely.
Which of Lyn's potential partners would join her?
Eliwood is Marquess of Pharae so... that route is incompatible with this. Same with Hector, albeit him being Marquess of Ostia.
While Florina's ending with Lyn says that she returned to Ilia, I'm sure that if she knew what Lyn had planned, she would want to join with Lyn to help.
With Rath... there would be only the slight adjustment that Lyn would have a tribe to return to at the end of the day. Rath would likely go with her to help eradicate the bandits, because as it stands, they could end up threatening his tribe as well. Plus, y'know, to protect his wife, not that she needs to protecting.
With Kent... uhm, duh? Kent goes to Sacae with her, and his loyalty to her would likely be as unwavering as ever. He'd definitely join her in her quest to rid the border of bandits.
While she doesn't have a special ending if you A Rank with Wil or Wallace, I imagine that they both would be happy to join her.
Even if you take what Wallace said as true in his A rank support, whether you get that support or not, that he destroyed the Taliver bandits himself, I'm sure Lyn would still patrol the border, just to be sure, and to make sure that as few people as possible have to go through the sort of thing she went through with her entire tribe being killed.
