Hi, hello.

Excuse me for the super inconsistent, overly emotional posts the past few months. It's been 4 months since the separation. Me and the kids have been in our own place for two months now. I'm prioritizing my mental health and my relationship with the kids. I found a wonderful daycare. Things are good and while we still have our days, those few months ago feel like a lifetime ago. I'm hopeful to have the ambition to do updates soon because these kids are growing and thriving ❤️

Dear Diary, today in math class I accidentally created the loony-toonsiest game of chess to ever exist.

So for some context, this math class is specifically about math in games and puts a huge focus on strategy, so today someone made a presentation about chess and we all had to play it for ourselves. I was sitting next to this one girl and we were playing on my laptop together. and over the course of this game I have managed to get THREE different pawns promoted to queen, get each of those pawns captured, get all of my pawns that didn't become queens captured, get my actual queen captured, hell, EVERY piece on my board got captured except for my king. So, my opponent, she's not looking too good herself, she's only got three pieces left, and I'd just keep moving just out of the bishop's way, and then try to sneak up to capture my opponent's king to the point where THIS is what the game looked like by the end of class

and the best part, that tab is still open, I could very easily just take control of the black pieces and put them in a position where someone eventually takes my king, but I'm not gonna do that because I wanna see if I can keep this shennaniganery up for an entire other class

Today's stream was so bonkers I completely forgot to mention that BDubs had a Racial Identity Crisis live on Impulse's stream because of the fuss tumblr is kicking up about him getting whitewashed. He said that he's "a quarter Syrian" but he thinks he's white. He then turned to Impulse and the others and asked "Aren't I white?"

Legitimately so angry that my pain isn't really taken seriously. My beautiful partner goes to the doctor and gets prescribed pain killers, which I'm really hoping they work for him. Meanwhile I go to the doctor, they tell me to try something else, don't get a prescription but they still reccomend the same pain killer that I then have to buy over the counter that's more expensive

Without jinxing myself, this morning was pretty nice. Slept late, had some nice conversation with my gf. Feeling a little dizzy lately, currently assuming it's my thyroid. Luckily, she has a personal fan I can wear at work. It may not fix everything, but combating the symptoms of overheated and near-fainting may temporarily help me out.

I can hear and feel Donna quite a bit today. She's been awfully sensitive about some disaster related news and some old stuff coming up on my reddit. She's not a horror fan- especially human horror and that Russian sleep experiment pops up on my socials a lot because I studied it pretty extensively (not really any excuse for this other than *I* am a sick fuck).
