Après la perte irrémédiable par le feu de la machine à insémination du Dr Ferdinand Strauss, d’autres savants animés par la même obsession continuèrent la recherche dans le secret de leur laboratoire. De toutes les machines qui furent inventées, celle du Dr Lestar, éminent sexologue plusieurs fois primés au concours Lépine pour ses modèles de sex-toys orthopédiques, attira l’attention des spécialistes en 1919. Nommée sobrement « machine spermatique », elle était conçue pour déposer en mode continu le sperme d’un donneur dans le plus grand nombre de femmes et ainsi palier à la chute vertigineuse de la natalité.

Après l’effroyable boucherie de la guerre de 1914-1918 où de très nombreux hommes perdirent la vie, il était nécessaire de compenser le manque de géniteurs pour satisfaire les veuves en surnombre qui désiraient ardemment contribuer à repeupler la France.

Cette machine se composait de 3 parties :

--Un siège sur lequel était solidement attaché, par des courroies de cuir, un homme jeune et robuste choisi pour la quantité et la qualité de son sperme.

--La machine pneumatique qui assurait l’aspiration, la compression et le jet final

--La patiente étendue dans une pose lascive à même de susciter sans fin le désir du donneur.
