Sooooo this is just a small idea I had because I’ve never seen anyone else do this soooooooo. Our poor girly in yet another epidemic. Love you all!

Was absolutely thrilled when everyone was advised to stay inside because she’s such an antisocial loser untilllllll she saw how everyone was rapidly spreading the disease. She’s low key a germaphobe.

Totally had a YouTube channel which consisted of her recording herself doing nothing but laying on the couch with you watching tv. Her only subscribers were Jesse, Joel, and Dina and some rando from Tennessee.

She found a new obsession every week and now the garage is filled with boxes of old paintings, crochet chickens, and diy art stuff.

Had ranked every Ramen noodle flavor from best to worst

Absolutely freaked OUT when you got Covid from your job and she ended up sleeping over at Joel’s. She actually refused to come back untill you showed her how you deep cleaned the whole house.

Ellie on FaceTime

Ellie: wait babe lemme see right there on the dresser

You: Ellie I literally wiped it down twice

Ellie: well I didn’t see it

Tried to make cookies one time and thought they were perfect and crispy around the edges. They really tasted like chips and she got mad when you laughed and claimed you never take her seriously.

Okay I’m sorry but she was a horny monster like cmon she was in the house all day with you like how can she not.

Had an obsession with the Big Bang theory and made you watch it with her and explained all the science stuff which she knew for the most part. On the ones she didn’t know she’d yap about it till you looked it up and she’d gaslight you into thinking she was right.

You: “Umm babe google says……”

Ellie: “that’s literally what I was saying”

She was at Joel’s house one time helping him make more guitars. She accidentally cut herself and when you demanded she go to the hospital which she was terrified of because of all the Covid patients getting her sick she went like this

Fell victim to the meme pages all in her camera roll that were like this

Hated zoom meetings but she’d be the type to hold her phone on the screen and watch those Roblox Tik toks.

I know i already said she was a fortnite god but that girl watched every single fortnite concert at the time and made sure you were right there with her and she made sure to clip the whole thing even though when watching the clip back her and Jesse were yelling their asses off. She loved season three of fortnite.

Ellie: “ HURRY UP BABE TRAVIS SCOTT IS GONNA PREFORM OH MY GOD JESSE WHERE ARE YOU!!!”

Ellie hated when people overstocked at the grocery store meanwhile she did the exact same thing because she was paranoid and it came in hand since you guys wouldn’t need to go grocery shopping for at least a week and a half

Ellie also discovered games with an emotional storyline like Detroit becomes human, red dead redemption, resident evil, ect. And had a phase where she’d be all poetic and shit thinking she was Shakespeare, she got tired of talking like she was from the 1800s.

Ellie: “my love, your eyes, they remind me of a thousand sunsets…”

You: “did you take out the trash?”

She had all her favorite YouTubers and would watch them on the tv and she’d make you play among us with her because that was “the game of century” as she proclaimed.

She actually had a small mini breakdown because our poor girl found out Joel had Covid and remember that in the news it said older people were more at risk. The poor girl though Joel was gonna die and you laid in bed with Ellie who was sniffling and crying in your shirt while you rubbed her back. Those always calm her down. Then when Joel was better again she made you pinky promise not to tell anyone anything. But she did end up calling Joel more frequently.

You guys actually had spent a lot of time together and most couples who spent so much time together broke up and got bored and such and such but you two actually enjoyed you time together. You and Ellie would would go to an open park where no one was around and watch the sunset and talk about what your plans were after everything was back to normal. Ellie asked if you two could get a puppy and who can ever say no to those eyes and freckles cheeks?

Another thing you guys liked to do was spent all day in bed and cuddling. Now a lot of people will assume Ellie would be the big spoon and that can be true sometimes but the girl is a hugeeeeeee softie. She loved being the little spoon because she felt safe by feeling your soft breath ok her back or shoulder. And she’s hold a dinosaur plushie. Like always.

She cried when she watched videos of family’s finally being able to reunite or grandparents watching their families through a class. Who didn’t cry?

She loved playing just dance with you and she’d purposely pick a song where you both had to dance together because she never has the balls to ask you to dance to with her.

She had a little camcorder where she recorded almost everything in your lives at that point. You brushing your teeth, both of you eating cereal, having tickle fights, ect. What Ellie doesn’t know is that now you sometimes go to the camcorder and watch the old videos and she’d a tear here and there because you loved the memories.

Some how she was actually a beast at the toilet paper kick up challenge and got a good 14 kick ups.

You cannot tell me she didn’t buy those apple juices that actually founded like apples when you bit into them.

Overwatch seeing s/o's ex is harassing them

Hanzo

He was very panicked because he got a text saying you needed help so he rushed to your house

He heard screaming from inside but didn't recognize your voice so he muscled the door open to get to you

That's when he saw your ex tearing up your house screaming profanities at you

No hesitation Hanzo grabbed your ex by the shoulder (nearly breaking it in the process) and dragged him out of the house

Hanzo then went over to where you locked yourself in the bedroom and quietly assured you your ex was gone

He felt terrible that you had to go through that and he doesn't leave your side for the rest of the day/night

Cassidy

Cassidy was driving to your house to pick you up for a date when he recognized your ex's car

Now, with much more desperation, he made his way to your apartment and used his spare key to get the door open when he heard yelling and crashing noises from inside

When he saw you, cowered in a corner with your ex screaming at you he immediately put himself between you and your ex

After forcing your ex to leave he dropped beside you to make sure you were okay

If you let him he's pulling you into a tight hug for a couple minutes

Afterward, you and him clean up the mess your ex made, and he tries his best to take your mind off what happened

Soldier 76

He'd already had plans to go spend time with you at your apartment but his blood boiled when he opened the door to see your ex screaming at you

He grabs your ex's collar and drags them away from you threatening them in a low voice

After your ex leaves Jack settles besides you on the ground and pulls you into a silent hug

He never leaves your side the whole time that you two order take-out and even when you falls asleep

Ramattra

He didn't know why but he felt a sudden urge to see you and he knew why when he pulled up to see your ex's car

He rushed to your apartment, filling the doorway with a terrifying presence as he towered over your ex

After successfully scaring them off, he drops beside you and makes sure you're not injured

After that, he basically carries you around for the rest of the time you two are together and does his best to make you feel comfortable

Junker Queen

She was fuming when you texted her asking for help but she wasn't mad at you

Whoever made you feel scared was about to get thrown out a window

When she arrived at your house she made Gracie in hand when she opened the door

Two seconds flat and she scared your ex away

Once your ex was gone, she went over to you to make sure you were okay

She insisted you two stay inside together that night and (after fumbling with the TV remote) she puts on your favorite movie before cleaning up the mess your ex made

Widowmaker

She had no hesitation coming to help since she remembered the horror stories you told her about your ex

She might not be as strong or intimidating as the other people on this list, but she is not afraid to snipe/fight anyone in her way of helping you

So after scaring your ex off, she silently sits next to you, pulling you into her arms in order to comfort you

She promises that with her around she won't let your ex near you again

What I really want to see in S2 is Wednesday’s friends getting so fed up with Wednesday randomly dropping to the ground during her visions that they start catching her instead of dealing with her being semi-constantly cranky and half concussed.

Enid’s definitely the best at it. I mean they’re roomies and best friends and gay for each other, so they’re together most of the time as is. Combine that with Enid’s wolf reflexes and she almost knows Wednesday’s going to drop before her eyes have began rolling into her head and has an arm out ready to catch and hold her there until she regains consciousness. Enid’s gotten so accustomed to this part of their relationship that she doesn’t even look up from whatever’s she doing anymore.

Eugene’s terrible at it, he normally just screams and flails his arms around while Wednesday has already face planted into the honey they were in the middle of harvesting.

Bianca, Divina and Kent are surprisingly good at it. Not as good as Enid and it’s normally a last minute dash to grab whichever part of her is closest to them but it prevents the worst of it. There was also the time Wednesday had a vision and fell into the lake before anyone was able to stop her and all three of them didn’t hesitate to jump in and fish her out because waking up deep underwater with no idea where you are would be terrifying even for Wednesday.

Yoko as a vampire is perfectly capable of catching her no matter how fast she drops. But elects not to in most occasions because she finds it funny. However if Wednesday’s about to experience a particularly hard fall or is about hit something that could really hurt her and Enid’s not there to stop it she will grab her by the back of her shirt to slow her fall.

Most of the time Ajax is too high to even notice Wednesday isn’t in front of him anymore and is in fact on the ground. One time she fell into him and he panicked, pushed her off and ran away because he thought she was attacking him.

Post Tyler redemption ark (probably be more than 1 season before they’re friends again but whatever) he’ll catch her out of reflex when she drops close to him before screaming and dropping her again after he sees the way Enid’s glaring/low-key growling at him which only causes Enid to start yelling. Wednesday gained consciousness and left 30 minutes ago but they didn’t realise because they were too busy arguing. They may have both forgiven him for the S1 drama but Enid and Tyler will always be the messiest of frienemies you can’t change my mind.

Also I really want to see Morticia watch Enid catch Wednesday without even flinching. Because she’d be so smug about it and Wednesday would be so mad.

Summary: You just started your new job working for the spider society and meet you boss....... Warnings: I do not own Miguel O'Hara (IF ONLY I DID), MDNI, Miguel O'Hara being low key obsessive and possessive, but more love spring and less call the cops crazy, you are super smart and created your trans dimensional device by yourself- GO YOU!

You were beyond excited, nervous but still excited. Ever since you were sitting in your apartment alone tinkering with a device that would allow your to explore different dimensions, you were just about to power it up when a small little digital brunette popped up and said "Oh good I got to you before you powered up your trans dimensional device, I am going to need you to come with me ASAP if you don't mind" you were certain that you had turned on your device, electrocuted yourself and were now passed out so you of course said "can I bring my pizza?"

Fast forward to now you are walking through the spider society building with Lyla chatting your ear off explaining everything as she directed you to your office, while you held a large box with all of your equipment in your arms. Lyla then told that you needed to met the head of the spider society "the head spider?" you asked making Lyla chuckle, or is it "Mr. Spider?" Lyla stopped floating ahead of you to hunch over laughing and responded "yes, please call him that to show respect" you nodded as she pointed down the hall to a large door and said "just go through that door I gotta go make sure your office is ready for you." You walked to the door and barely managed to get the door open when a VERY large man lunged at you roaring "WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE" his voice boomed making you scream as you dropped the box and fell against the door as you stuttered "Ly-Lyla hire- me I smart- I -I-I please don't kill me Mr. Spider Lyla will be so mad" this did little to deter the very large although he was slightly confused as to why you called him Mr. Spider. But luckily for you Lyla appeared and scolded Miguel "WTF do you think you are doing to my new tech?" Lyla wagged her digital little finger at Miguel making him back off and argue with her "Since when do you hire without talking to me, I look up and someone is walking into my office, what did you expect" Lyla gave him a pointed look before he sighs and says "I'm sorry new tech that Lyla hired without talking to me" Miguel's heart immediately breaks though looking at you, now on the floor with tears in your eyes looking terrified, biting your lip, he reaches to help you up and feels how soft your little hand feels in his as you try to smile at his help. Once you are standing your turn around and start to gather your things. Miguel's breath catches in his throat at seeing you now bent over giving a truly breath taking view, you are completely oblivious when you hear him deeply inhale. You turn around after gathering your box asking "are you okay Mr. Spider?" Miguel wants to bash his head into his desk. He looks down at you biting your lip and looking up at him with genuine concern in your beautiful eyes, after he was he asshole who yelled at you. All he can think is, how is this perfect little angel even real. He looks confused looking at you "did you just call me Mr. Spider?" You tilt your head to the side saying, "Lyla said-" you are cut off with Lyla laughing and Miguel sighing deep and saying "you can just call me Spiderman," you nod embarrassed slightly blushing before Lyla telling you to follow her to your office before Miguel faints at how adorable you are.

You are working in your office with your headphones fixing some coding for Lyla unaware of the large man that keeps walking by your office inhaling your scent from outside your door. Miguel doesn't understand how he even got over here, he just couldn't stop thinking about you, your scent, your smile, your body, all the things he would kill just to be able to touch you again, hold you, ANYTHING. He still doesn't understand how he got so obsessed with you so quickly, maybe it was your scent, your scent was sweet like sugary fruity floral heaven, maybe it was because you were from a different dimension. He just knew that he needed to be closer to you.

So come lunch time he knocked on your office door, "it's open, is that you Peter?" you turned around to see your very large boss holding a small pile of empanadas. "I hope you like empanadas, I wanted to come and apologize for earlier." You smile at the food and offer for him to sit , you start to eat the empanadas as he takes off his mask showing you his face for the first time and smiles gently at you as he comments "I like your office" you smile brightly at him "thank you Lyla set it all up for me after I told her what I wanted." you lick you lips after finishing your empanada making Miguel slightly roll his eyes before saying "I am sorry for earlier, I didn't mean to scare you, I am really not a bad guy I was just- you just- ugh I am sorry" he holds his head down so you scoot closer to him and tentatively put your hands on his lap and say "I understand, I am actually happy to know you don't hate me" his head snaps up and looks into your eyes and says "I could never hate you!" you are taken aback a bit at how quickly he said that, you giggle cutely and OH GOD if that wasn't the most beautiful sound he had ever heard, his heart melted and if he wasn't sitting down he might've dropped to his knees from shock. Miguel looked into your eyes, "What dimension are you from?" you smile and tell him "Earth-71, Lyla teleported to me when I was working on my own trans dimensional device."

You spent your entire lunch break with Miguel in your office asking you endless questions about your dimension and your life. He seemed extremely fascinated in you and your life. You lunch break was almost over when he build up the courage to ask you, "um considering you just got to the dimension maybe I could take you out and show you around some time" you smile confused before saying "um sure okay, I am going out with Hobie, Gwen, Miles, Peter and Pavitr this weekend. Lyla introduced us when I first got to this dimension. They're all super cool." Miguel gritted his teeth and said "yeah they are very cool *sarcastically* but we can go out tonight, I'll pick you up at 7" he has said before smiling and leaving your office to go back to his office and think about how to keep you away from anyone that isn't him because you are clearly made for him and he is already in love *obsessed* with you

This didn't necessarily go where I thought but I am cool with it, I just really wanted to play around with some Miguel O'Hara being immediately sprung over you and wanting you all to himself

Notes: AFAB reader; originally posted on ao3 here; this is old and I'm not caught up with the manga now so sorry if anything seems strange

Chuuya

I'm not going to lie, Chuuya's initial response to finding out his partner is pregnant is not going to be very positive. He's not angry or anything, but he didn't really want kids and doesn't feel the slightest bit ready to be a father. He isn't going to run away, though; he knows it's sorta his fault you're in this situation to begin with so he's going to swallow his pride and stick around for your sake.

He spends the whole pregnancy low-key dreading having to take care of a baby. Mostly because he's got no clue how to do that. That's not to say he isn't trying to find out how; if you check his browser history at this point, it'll probably be a lot of parenting articles.

He'll say he wants to leave naming the baby to you but if you come up with name ideas and ask him for his thoughts on them Oh Boy will he have some opinions for you.

As soon as the baby is born and he gets to hold it, it's like all his apprehension just vanishes into thin air, he is immediately in love. Like, he looks this tiny, helpless human he helped make in the eyes and immediately knows he would kill and die for them.

I think that it would be a more interesting dynamic if he had a daughter; he'd still be a good father to a son, but with a daughter, he would truly be wrapped around her little finger. That little girl will be SO spoiled, she'll be the one all her classmates want to be friends with because she has all the newest video games and the best dolls.

Lord have mercy on anyone who tries to bully his daughter, not just because he'll be more than willing to beat them up but if she's inherited any of her dad's personality, so will she. If she gets in trouble at school for fighting back against a bully, she will get high fives and ice cream from Chuuya.

When she's old enough, he'll teach her to fight for real. He knows he won't always be there to protect her, so he wants her to be able to keep herself safe.

Once she's old enough to start dating, Chuuya will do the entire protective dad routine to any boys she might bring home. He will all but do a full interrogation about what they're planning, make it known that he knows how to hide a body, and if they bring her home even a minute late he is going to lose it.

Word will get around about this. It is not going to be easy for Chuuya's daughter to find a prom date.

Atsushi

In the early stages of pregnancy Atsushi is going to feel sicker than you.

This poor boy is straight-up terrified to be a parent at first because of what his own childhood was like. It isn't that he doesn't want to have children, exactly, he just doesn't want to end up continuing the cycle of abuse. Of course, the fact that he's worried about that at all is enough to tell you that he'll be a fine father, but good luck convincing him of that.

Once his child is born, all his worries are going to lead him to go so far in the opposite direction, he's probably never going to so much as raise his voice at the kid. He is a major pushover of a parent, Atsushi's child could get away with murder.

He's also going to have a hard time denying them anything they want. This is going to be another spoiled child for sure. The kid's probably going to end up as a bit of a brat because of this, and Atsushi can't even get mad because he knows it's no one's fault but his own.

On the positive side of things he's going to be such a supportive dad as well. He'll be in the front row of any recitals, plays, spelling bees, anything like that his child participates in and he is going to clap the loudest because he's so proud of them!!!

He'll try to help them with their math homework at some point, but quickly realize that he doesn't really know how to do math either. Much frantic googling will ensue as Atsushi tries to quickly learn long division for his child's sake.

When they get old enough to start hanging out with friends on their own, Atsushi is going to be so worried if they stay out later than they said they would, even if it's just by a few minutes. He'll also want to know exactly who they're with and where they're going. He isn't trying to be overbearing, he just has anxiety.

Voted most likely to cry when his child moves out. Empty nest syndrome is gonna hit him so hard. His child is probably going to get daily texts from their honorary aunts and uncles at the Agency reminding them to call their dad.

Nobody really quite KNOWS what you are, but they know you're part.

Referencing to the title, Percy has said he thinks your part titan, but due to advancements, there is no way to know for sure.

Because of that, Vox Machina had become known for having a "Temper Titan."

It's kind of embarrassing, at first when you heard of it, but you are pretty terrifying when you're mad.

Much like King and other titans, when you stomp or yell, the ground shakes and often things that should be strong enough to be stable such as a boulder, break.

Vox Machina also calls you this… but.. at least they accept you?

Anger issues goes crazy as a titan. you're real sensitive, but you can often end up sad instead of angry when they try to wind you up mid-battle.

Scanlan often tries to make fun of you during a battle but instead he just tugs on your strings and makes you cry.

A little upsetting when it happens, and you end up not talking to Scanlan for a while.

He was MEANNN man.

Of course, your cries are just as powerful if not more powerful than your stomps and yells.

he likes to pretend you couldn't drag him with and without magic

Sadly, when you do have a temper, Keyleth can feel it through her plants.

Its a downside, so when you're going nuts, Keyleth is down and coping with the fact the ground and plants are in pain.

its also a battle field issue a lot.. thankfully Scanlan's bard magic can always lift them up, but, it makes them a big, chunky target.

You being a little kid they don't want to be up too long without you.

Percy is especially careful about this.

Vex and Vax on the other hand could not care LESS.

swim or drown in their little world.

Keyleth scolds them about their carelessness for you, but when it comes down to it, they are the first ones to dive in and save you.

Vax especially.

They both see you as a younger sibling.

They try to keep your temper under control, but it doesn't work out sometimes, and you guys end up having to run away while in public

Like.. literally mid tantrum they'll just pick you up and put you on trinket.

Vax buys you literally anything you want and its crazy..

its not even because he doesn't want you to be mad, its because he wants you to have what he didn't in his childhood, but Vex has a different view, and still wants you to grow up and be a responsible person.

she often likes to take you out to nature just because

her connection to it makes her feel you have one too because they all think(know) you're a titan.

its really nice because you'll literally just lay there and you'll feel vines and grass growing around you comfortingly

oh she 100% develops claustrophobia, it was lowkey his goal with the burrow. she's meant to associate his bed and cuddling with him as good things. getting locked in a small dark closet when you're panicking doesn't exactly create a positive association for the closet lmao

he'd be so sweet and comforting when you have a nightmare, but it was totally his end goal. your nightmares are kinda great for him - he gets to comfort you and look like the good guy & they mean you're terrified of punishments and less likely to misbehave

So... Lucid dreaming huh?

So I've had... Multiple lucid dreams of Punch Out so I'm deciding to share headcanons/moments that have happened

So for context on my end: when lucid dreaming i can feel whenever someone touches me. Let's just say that someone tested their arm on my shoulder for example, yeah i can feel the arm on my shoulder in my dream. Same deal with any kind of pain. Though i can't smell or taste anything that i haven't smelled/tasted before.

Anyways let's get into this

Bear Hugger, unsurprisingly, does give the best hugs... Though he accidentally popped my back with a hug and instantly panicked (i was fine btw)

Soda is intimidating.... But shockingly friendly. Somehow befriended him and now he likes to just randomly pick me up like a cat (he has randomly picked me up Lion King style before too. Why? I have no idea but it scared the hell outta me)

^ He did give me his soda once actually. If you've ever had Mug Root Beer it tasted like that but a few notches sweeter than that brand (idk if this is because my brain decided to should tastes this way but that's what it reminded me of)

Bald Bull... Is actually surprisingly nice, quiet for the most part but nice... if he's not in a bad mood or if you're not acting like a crazy fan/interviewer.

Mad Clown is actually sassy as hell but to the point his comments are equally as funny with the timing. He's gotten a few good surprised wheezes out of me with his timing.

Mad Clown does have a clown car (and I'm... Assuming a regular one for everyday use), found that out because i went to see a boxing match and he deadass pulled up to the ring in the clown car-

Accidentally met Carmen actually, she's very sweet and bubbly

^ Don on the other hand... My god he was cocky af. Me and him didn't mix well since I'm very much a humble kinda person.

Sandman was... Scary actually. More scary than i thought with how tall he is and his facial expression always seeming angry (he wasn't btw, apparently it's just his resting face which... Yeah fair enough)

^ He's also nice, just not social which i related to. Didn't get to talk to him for long sadly but still was pleasant

Did meet Super Macho Man ... Had the same kinda deal with Don, we didn't mix well. Though SMM was trying to showoff his merch/money just because i was new around, and HATED the fact that I was looking at him like he was insane. Low-key his offended face is funny tho

Aran was, unsurprisingly, chaotic as hell. I was a victim of a few pranks, shockingly none too harmful, i just ran nearly close lined into some plastic wrap because he tied to to a doorframe and he put sone of my stuff on high places so i can't reach them without climbing up whatever he put it on... And was shocked seeing me literally climb up it because i refused to ask for help. I think he gives the more harmful pranks to the other boxers.

Aran really likes to point out how short i am (im 5"3'... That mf is 6"1') compared to him by putting his arm casually on my head... Yeah long story short i bit his arm in response and he hasn't done it again

There's something in Hoy's staff (i was handing Hoy his staff for context of how i know this). The top like swirly part is hollow, the rest isn't just that top part and something rattles in it. I don't know if it's just a broken piece of wood or what.

Dragon and Birdie do have a rivalry. Found that out because Dragon nearly nailed me with a shoe somehow- he got Birdie tho

About the pressures on gay people to be het acting and how we react to them…….. I think one thing people have to accept is 1) yeah it affects people … it affects people DIFFERENTLY. Five different gay girls growing up in the same town in the same family with the same religion taught to them will have 5 different experiences with it. Some people are more people pleasing. Others are rebellious but deeply taken in by the idea of gods and devils judging them and tormenting them forever. And so on. I grew up being taught to be scared of hell and mostly just low key rejected it from the start. My sister is also now an atheist but is still terrified. Still has nightmares. Still catches herself subconsciously adjusting her thoughts and behavior to “avoid hell”.

2) yeah admitting that and saying it aloud DOES make at least some bi or het people further self-delude for whatever reason that they are gay despite not being gay, which yeah does continue to have some negative effects when they speak over us, but let’s be real hear it’s just one more half-out cig butt getting dropped on the ground in the middle of an already raging wildfire of homophobia… we got other problems

3) AND it doesn’t make it less true — some people really do experience pressures great and small to be or try or pretend to be het. And some act that out while others don’t. And it doesn’t make someone not gay to have been in a situation like that. It’s a cold day in hell where I want someone who went through that to suffer even 1 second more …. And for what??? so I can scrabble to try to keep political fake gays and other fake gays from overrunning? When that is more to do with their own psych and less to do with what we do or say? Nah. We should fully and openly talk about pressures to try het sex and try to become/pretend to be het. AND be very clear that it doesn’t confabulate whole feelings of desire for the other sex. Not just like desire to be het or desire to be desired or whatever. And we can be clear too that sometimes bi people for personal reasons lose the passion for one sex or the other. But still have the capacity for it and are bi.

A lot of this confusion crap to me is 1) homophobia— being grossed out or freaked out by genuine same sex only attraction so people keep trying to erase that including by faking gay to change the socially accepted meaning of it to include the other sex 2) people not getting the range of bisexuality or how affected people are by their own experiences and politics. Like yeah it’s possible to lose attraction to men functionally from being around them and seeing their shit. You’re still bi or het though. Just with a zeroed out libido for men from life experience.

If anon wants to stop the madness around this she should talk about all that not worry about, cast doubt on and bother lesbians from traumatic backgrounds who experienced trying to force themselves to be into men.

totally agree, i keep saying people will go thru similar situations but have different reactions for many reasons such as personality. it just falls in deaf ears bc i feel like some ppl just get some kind of pleasure or joy out of framing gay ppl as liars for having frankly traumatic experiences of trying to be het in a homophobic world. so i feel like no matter how much any of us explain and talk about this phenomena, some ppl will only hear what they want.

there’s indeed OSA ppl pretending to be gay and explaining away their experiences with the opposite sex, and i get being wary bc of that. i’ve been in such situations where i wasn’t certain ppl were actually gay but who does it actually help to harass every person who has for any reason ever had any experience with the opposite sex, gay ppl included, and to harass them & call them liars & make it seem like their story can’t possibly be plausible? it hasn’t helped gay ppl from what i’ve seen. doesn’t help us form communities, sense of togetherness, give us protections, or anything else.. and it probably pushed some gay ppl back into the closet. i’ve seen so many lesbians harassed off of these platforms over it too.

when there’s ppl openly claiming to be gay while talking about being into the opposite sex, im not going to be wasting my time harassing traumatised gay ppl about how it doesn’t make sense to me that they forced themselves thru a heterosexual experience in hopes that it’d change their sexuality.

Mike in s4 has romantic feelings for Will and this started in s3 after the fight they had!!!! After that fight Mike realizes that he is terrified of losing Will in his life, (he doesn't yet realize that it's because he has romantic feelings) he goes after him immediately to apologize and he's relieved when Will tells him that he will never lose him...

then the Byers move away and he realized that he has some kind of feelings for Will and is missing Will more than his own girlfriend!

then in s4 he starts acting WEIRD with Will because...

he's jealous and distant because El mentioned that Will may have a crush on a girl:

blames Will for El's behaviour because he is secretly mad that Will was not calling him

start thinking that Will is talking about them in a romantic way and low key panics because HE was thinking about it

after they get close again he starts looking at Will when he's not looking (and gets caught here)

and it keeps going even after the monologue!!!!

Happy STS! I’m currently obsessing over this myself, so I’ve decided to infect others with it too~ In a College AU of Names in Their Blood, what would the characters look like? What are their majors, their study habits, party habits, are they a TA or a professor? Go wild!

OK OK I LOVE THIS! THANK YOU!

So the characters are, in NiTB 18, 18, 17, 17, and 17 and this is book two in the series, so several of them will be ACTUALLY going to college during the course of the series.

BUT, assuming that we go with an AU and toss them all into college.

Opal: Prelaw, with plans to be a public defender. She worries a lot about being out place in this small and disproportionately white college town. She does well academically, and she loves campus social life. Her friends try to get her out to parties, but she's really anxious about getting in trouble. She WILL get heated in debates in class, but tends to cry when she's mad so it gets messy. She's just trying to keep things low key and functional but gets drawn into the family drama of her new girlfriend.

Issac: Premed. Took off a gap year between highschool and college because of the brand new disability and also the dubious life choices. He picked the school because it was near an estranged aunt he wants to force to talk to him again. Has a fuckton of college credit when he enrolls because he finished highschool math in about 7th grade. Lives off campus in a rented house. Academically, he mostly sails through classes. He struggles at first with branching out into subjects he doesn't think of himself as interested in, but acclimates eventually. He has a hard time organizing his time and getting used to regular schedules, which causes problems early on. He also has a hard time acclimating socially, having grown up very isolated. He's also oblivious and confused in the face of flirting, but likely to get flirted with. Except for his one crush.

Yael: Undecided major. Has a massive basketball scholarship, just like xyr dad, and is following in his footsteps, but has little life plan outside of that. Picked which college based on which one xyr brother (Issac) was attending. Isn’t so sure about his plan RE: their aunt but really WANTS it all to work out. Starts off mostly hanging around him, but eventually branches out socially, and also goes to a few more raucous parties than is probably ideal. Has significant angst about wanting to come out as nonbinary but being afraid it'll fuck up gendered sport inclusion. Lives with Issac in the rented house, which causes issues because xe does not pick up at all ever, and also feels claustrophobic in a place so much smaller than xe's used to. Turns into a bit of a flirt, but mostly because it feels easier than most other options. Freaks out when xe realizes xe likes the same girl as xyr brother.

[REDACTED]: Lives in fostercare in the small college town, but is technically still a highschooler. She switched to online schooling but nobody in her life really cares about her academics so while she's able to take some college classes in areas where she excels, she's nowhere near graduating highschool yet. She's extremely ashamed of this. She's trying to build her YouTube channel because she's terrified that she is too sick and too autistic to go to college for real or hold down a more conventional job, once she ages out of state care. She's highly visible and mostly liked by her peers, but keeps most relationships surface level so nobody knows she doesn't "really" go here. Till she develops crushes on a pair of siblings.

Jamie: Journalism major. Insisted on going to a school that her siblings weren't going to, and away from Chicago where her family is from. But... not TOO far from where Issac and Yael are going to school. She’s not sure about Issac’s plan with their aunt and is going to let them try and see what happens. She arrives at college feeling out of her depth and bad about it, and throws herself into activism with no idea how to not burn herself out completely. Frantically watches YouTube videos under cover of darkness to cover for her having focused on academic accomplishments up till now, and never having developed a whole host of basic independent living skills. She ends up spending every weekend at Yael and Issac's house, but will get very prickly if anyone points this out. She meets Opal after following Yael to a party that ended up feeling like Too Much, where she finds Opal similarly lurking outside waiting for her friend who she promised to drive to be ready to leave. Now Issac won't stop making fun of her for leaving home and immediately having a whole gay revelation.

omg, hi bub! after this chapter I just knew I had to send a message. This was most definitely one of the best chapters I've EVER read in all of the fandoms that I've been in.

The way you have built the angst not only with kyks and taylor but also slowly with the other players, i truly cannot imagine how they are gonna react when they find out, i wonder if marquinhos is gonna be able to still defend her even when all of the others are against her.

But kylian fucking mbappe really pushes your fucking limits, what he said in the interview trying to tease her but then wanting to be given another chance once he saw she wasn't playing around was so fucking funny. He really has no middle ground, it's like he either hates her or wants to protect her. I can't get enough of it (tho, he'd be fucked if he said that to me XDDD) I really want to know why he feels so mad about her having been a football player before? idk if it was something that I missed?

The last part at the bar was so ehnfqewufnqbrwhjnd, like it's hot but at the same time so fucking infuriating, like I wanted tay to shut him up so bad, but i can't wait to see how it's going to go down since it was marquinhos that separated them both. i just know kylian is gonna be so fcking jealous and I love ittttttttttt.

Alright just so i can answer your question right away.

Kylian had been feeling shit after the world cup. Everyone had these big expectations of him and now they are all expecting to fail basically in ever game he plays in. When Taylor comes along with her knowledge and her history and the influence she has on Galtier he is terrified and knows that there's something more going on.

So when he finds out that she really isn't just a journalist and she has a GOOD history in playing he is intimated. She already got him benched somehow for the first half of the game and he doesn't even understand how that's possible. If she's been hiding this about her identity then what else is she hiding?

Basically he is having a self crisis, doubting everything he does and Taylor is a constant reminder of that. The more he allows her to see, the more she reflects the broken pieces of him. And what if one day he ends up like her as well? A great player with a very short lived career.

The reason why the previous chapter was 10k was because i wanted them to reach the limit both of them. Kylian is turning into the lowest of the low, while Taylor is losing her brutal and badass ways because she is attached to all the players now and she has to find a balance. It's basically a reset for both of them to get their shit together.

He doesn't hate her, he hates what she represents which to him is all his failures and his possible downfall. When he realizes she is the key to the exact opposite he'll turn around. When i said this was enemies to lovers i meant it.

As promised, a final Realm of the Elderlings readthrough post. This series really impacted me. It wasn’t the magic, or the scope (that was actually smaller than most long fantasy series,) or the worldbuilding. It was the characters. Every one of them (except for Bee but that’s another story) felt like a real person to me. They had strengths and weaknesses, good points and flaws, cultural and personal biases. They weren’t perfectly objective or rational. They made mistakes based on limited knowledge or past experiences. This is what made them so compelling for me though. Even the ones I didn’t click with (sorry Molly and Verity!) were still well done. I will always have a place in my heart for Patience, and Burrich, and Hap, and Wintrow, and Thick, and Malta, and Dutiful, and Althea, and Kettricken, and above all, Fitz and the Fool.

Now to rank the trilogies/quadrilogy! This is totally scientific I promise. And note that “worst scene” don’t have to mean “I wish this wasn’t in the story;” just as often it means “this was very effective but emotionally damaging”

1. Tawny Man

I will never recover from these books. They had the most loosely defined plot of all of them, because honestly, I don’t think the overarching plot was really the point. I think it was an exploration of Fitz and the Fools relationship and what they mean to each other, and of Fitz as a man trying to piece himself back together as he returns to the world after hiding from his trauma. It had some of the warmest moments in the series, along with the most devastating (the bedding fight!) Fitz is at his most frustrating, but he goes through a tremendous amount of growth. The new characters also worked for me here; I loved Thick, Dutiful, and poor misguided Hap. Some of my absolute favorite scenes in the entire series.

Best parts: Fitz and the Fool being domestic in the cabin, Thick making Fitz hit his head and bump into things because he’s mad at him, Fitz pretending to be the Fools servant and doing a really really bad job at it, Civil Bresinga being low key terrified of “Lord Golden” because of the time he kissed him, Burrich calling out Chade for how badly Fitz has fared under his supervision, Fitz bringing the Fool back to life.

Worst parts: When the Fool was dead and I was afraid he was actually gone for good, when he reveals that he thinks Fitz was bringing him flowers and Fitz is an absolute dick about it, when Jinna did anything, when Burrich is abruptly knocked off and then the Fool leaves just so Fitz has a clear route to get back together with Molly, middle aged widow and mother of 7 Molly being interested in getting back with her teenage boyfriend who ditched her and their baby at all

2. Liveship Traders

I went into this all annoyed that I had to read a book about characters who had nothing to do with Fitz right after finishing the Farseer trilogy. I was desperate to find out what happened next with him, but I was determined to stick to the reading order. I am glad I did. I think Robin Hobb did an amazing job exploring gender norms through a very disparate set of characters and circumstances. All of the characters are forced to confront the gendered expectations that they live with and try to either seize what agency they can from the role that was pushed on them (Etta, Wintrow) or reject them entirely (Althea, Malta.) This remains the book that’s handled sexual assault in the most respectful but realistic manner that I’ve ever read. It had the best villains of the series. Kennit for being a terrifyingly realistic sociopath who is rarely recognized for what he is by others, and Kyle for being the most effective and believable mundane antagonist I’ve ever seen. And of course liveships are just fucking cool as a concept.

Best parts: Amber carving Paragons face to look like Fitz, Wintrow teaching Etta how to read, Kennit depositing Kyle on the island where his mother is because he’s sick of his shit, Althea realizing that Malta is basically her if she had been forced into a more traditional female role, Paragon giving deranged talks to anyone who boards him

Worst parts: When Kyle buys Wintrow at the slave market and tattoos him, when Kennit r*pes Althea as a substitute for his bizarre sexual obsession with Wintrow, literally any time the Satrap is on the page

3. Fitz and the Fool

This one is really like two books for me. The Fitz parts, which I absolutely loved once he left Withywoods and which contained some of the best stuff in the series, and the Bee parts, which mostly didn’t do it for me. Her character just didn’t click with me at all. She didn’t feel like a real person; she was more of a plot device whose dialogue and internal narration rang very false to me. This is weird for Robin Hobb because usually her characters are very humanized but Bee just wasn’t. Her villains weren’t either; they felt cartoonishly evil compared to the everyday cruelty of a Regal or even the ice cold emptiness of a Kennit. The Fitz and the Fool Revenge Tour 2022 though? Amazing. So many callbacks, seeing old characters I had missed, a really good resolution to the dragon plot. Most of the legacy characters from the first trilogy were gone, but the remaining ones got a nice sendoff. I wasn’t huge on any of the new characters but it didn’t matter when there were so many I loved. And of course Fitz and the Fools relationship was at its strongest; the love between them was unbreakable and the ending where they go into the wolf together could not be any more perfect.

Best parts: When Bee admits to the Fool that Fitz loved him more than anyone, when Fitz and the Fool died together but lived on in the wolf, when Chade tells Fitz that he’s the best mistake Chivalry ever made, when Fitz and the Fool are having this huge dramatic moment over Fitz’s imminent death but we’re seeing it entirely from Bees perspective and she’s like ummm, when it’s revealed that Patience gave eligible bachelors sticks for Winterfest with the lengths selected based on her assessment of their masculinity, when Thick offers to be the substitute grandfather to Hope (😭)

Worst parts: When the Fools injuries are constantly described in gratuitous detail, when Bee rejects all of the Fools attempts to reach out after they both think Fitz is gone, basically any scene with Lant and Shine at Withywoods, THE PRILKOP REVEAL

4. The Farseer trilogy

These books are awesome and I am not slighting them by putting them down here! It’s just a testament to how good the other ones are. They have my favorite cast of characters of the whole series and introduce most of my absolute faves. Reading Fitz grow from a boy to a young man and seeing all of the mistakes he makes along the way is a lot of fun, and the way his relationships with Burrich, Chade, the Fool, Nighteyes, Patience, and Kettricken change as he matures is great. You can really see the foundations of the man he becomes, both good and bad, in this trilogy.

Best moments: Fitz talking to the Fool for the first time and assuming that he’s slow and needs help and then the Fool calling him an idiot, when Fitz finds out that Burrich is popular with the ladies and bites in bed and Fitz is like “Burrich would never mistreat a woman!” when I was convinced Fitz and Kettricken would have an affair for like the whole second book, when Patience announces to Shrewd that Fitz should be made Chivalrys heir and will not take “that is politically impossible” for an answer, when the Fool saves someone from an arrow wound and discovers that it’s Fitz and he survived the dungeons, when Burrich beats the shit out of Galen for hurting Fitz

Worst moments: When Galen does decades worth of damage to Fitzs ability to Skill as well as his self esteem, when Regals men beat up the Fool, when Fitz decides to abandon his daughter and continue the cycle his own parents started, when he puts his angst into Girl on a Dragon and ensures he’ll remain emotionally stuck at 20 for the next 17 years

5. The Rain Wild Chronicles

I’ll be honest; these ones didn’t do it for me. This was the only part of the series that I didn’t like. It felt very YA; full of love triangles and petty teen drama which is weird for a series that usually carries some heavy themes. I also didn’t like most of the characters or really care what happened to them. The one bright spot was Alises story; I thought it was great to see a story about a woman breaking out of an abusive marriage and starting the life that she wants.

Best parts: Alise and Leftrins very sweet romance, the explanation at last of what Silver is and exactly how magic works in universe, the additional lore about the Elderlings and the dragons

Worst parts: Sedric and Carson’s forced “they both like men so” romance, the unbearable Tats/Thymara/Rapskal love triangle, Sintara, the endless obsession with Thymaras virginity and who she will lose it to, the weird slut shaming plot with the one girl who gets pregnant, everything with the inferior Kyle Haven retread Hest

Oh good lord.....

Aella: okay this woman let's it explode quicker than mount vesuvius. If she gets mad she'll start yelling right away. But generally it's hard to make her mad, unless you're her ex, or blitzø who just let her kid play with knives.

Aponi: she lets it boil. Oh God does she let it boil. She'll get mad but then won't tell you (she's me fr). But the longer it boils the more she gets angry at small things, like alastor not saying goodbye or something. Then she'll just explode, tears in her eyes and a quivering voice as she yells. (You may even get a sneak peak at her full demon form)

Cordelia: she's a mix of both. If Chaz is being an asshole she leaves it alone until he does it again and again and again. Then she'll explode like crazy. But if you mess up anything in her house she will snap so fast and yell right at you, cussing you out in Scottish.

Roxxie: generally it's hard to make her angry, she never really gets mad. But she does let it fester and boil. But it only ever spills out in tears at night in her bed.. verosika found her crying in her room alone once and never let her do it again.

Furcalor: oh God does this woman have a temper, especially when it comes to men. She'll explode right away, putting you in your place before she goes to destroy a ship in the human world.

Ella: ella is a very kind and forgiving person, so yeah she'll get angry, but if you apologize fairly quickly, then she's fine. BUT. insult her family/friends, she will dislocated all of your bones slowly and painfully as she looks on with an angry smile.

Mia: ehhhh she doesn't have a temper. I mean yeah she gets angry but she's pretty chill when it comes to people who are assholes, she just ignores them. Unless they insult her family.

Eli: thus man is so fucking laid back. (unless he's dealing with canon alistar) he doesn't get angry. And if he does it'll fester inside of his wife more than him.

Loreley: you know who her father is. She has such a temper. Do not tick her off, she will burn you to the ground and then stomp on your ashes. (Low key terrifying when she's ANGRY angry)

Alistar: he has a such a bad temper. Gets it from his dad.. he's working on it.. he doesn't like to shout or get angry,, it gives him flashbacks. So now he just let's it boil until he can rant it out to Rosa as she runs her fingers through his hair.

Rosalyn: oh God does she have a temper. You say something about her family?? Blows up like the battlefield of world War 1. She is an angry Spanish woman. She WILL get the chancla.

Deena: this woman lelet'it boil so hard.. she let the death of her sister boil so much that she kills every rapist she finds.so yeah. She has a temper.

Alruna: she's pretty laid back and usually doesn't get angry unless her friends are in danger. She'd do anything to defend them.

Clare: yes. She has a really bad temper actually. Piss her off and she'll down a pint of beer before taking out her sword and challenging you all because you said you didn't like the ocean.

Jacob: he's like 90% of Clarissa's impulse control, so no, he doesn't have much of a temper unless it comes to his family.

Carol: she let's it boil, but never explodes. She's lived in fear half her life. She can't risk that.

John: FUCK. YES.

Alison: Oh yes. Yes yes yes. She and alistar will literally start a fight over a bean.

Eathan: he tries not to get angry. he really does. He's pretty laid back, but if you insult anything about him or his new son and daughter, he will find where you live.

Hope: like father like daughter

Isaac: he is hope's impulse control. The job requires a lot of patience.

Caspian: HAH. yes.

In the Stars Masterlist

Description: Harper doesn't want any pilot near her, at least as far as possible. But that's really difficult when you work around them. She has managed to keep her “no pilots'' rule to date. That's until Bradley Bradshaw enters the Hard Deck like a great wave, destroying everything in his way and smashing all the walls Harper had built all this years ago.

Pairing: Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw x plus size!OC

Warnings: Mention of trauma, blood, crashes and sad stuff in general. There's some spice and mention of sex, but nothing too explicit. English is not my first language, so sorry in advance for any grammar or spelling errors.

Harper looked in the mirror frowning. She had put on a blue summer dress with daisies, sandals and wore her hair in a braid, but now she was considering her decision. She didn’t want to look too dressed up to go have a few beers with a bunch of pilots. What did you wear for that occasion? She sighed and walked back to her closet intending to pull out some short jeans and a blouse, but she heard her bell ring. She cursed under her breath and pulled out her denim jacket to come down to open. On the other side she found a smiling Bradley. He wore a Hawaiian shirt (What a surprise!), although this was a dark green with red flowers, which highlighted his tanned skin. He wore it closed, only with the upper buttons open, which glimpse of his naked chest. In addition, he wore jeans and his aviators. He lowered his glasses with his index finger to look at her.

“You look gorgeous” he assured, and Harper could almost see him drooling. Apparently it had not been such a bad idea to put on the dress.

“Thanks!” she replied, entertained in picking up her keys from the entrance so he didn’t see that he had made her nervous.

The man waited for her to close the door and then accompanied her to the car and opened the passenger door for her, earning a new “thank you” from her. The short trip to the Hard Deck felt even shorter while they listened to music and sang the lyrics, Bradley loudly and Harper low but with a smile on her face. Music had always been important in her life, she liked how you could express a lot of thighs with the righst song, how your mood could change and you could feel everything the artist had felt while making the song. And hearing Bradley’s voice only made it better.

Once at the Hard Deck, Bradley gestured for her to enter first and then guided her with one hand on her lower back to the darts area, where some of his colleagues were already.

“Guys, this is Harper, our doctor. I guess you don’t need me to tell you their names”

“It’s not necessary” she confirmed amused.

“Harper, come. Sit here” Phoenix offered, pointing to the stool beside her. Next to the woman was Bob, who seemed to never part from his pilot. “Rooster told us you will come with us tomorrow” she began.

“Yeah. I’ll be your doctor in case you get a migraine while deciding whether to fly with or without sunglasses” she joked. After Bradley had confessed that pilots were terrified of not coming back and didn’t talked about their fears, Harper had decided not to mention the dangers of the mission that night.

“Or if we have a hangover after tonight” commented someone else. Harper turned to look at the blond man, recognizing him as Hangman, the man who apparently wanted to drive Bradley mad. At least it had been before, now they were simply ignoring each other.

“For that too” she nodded with a smile.

“Why Top Gun? Isn’t it a little… boring?” Bob asked this time. “I mean, a doctor at FighterTown doesn’t have much work, you’d have more action in a hospital or on the battlefield”

Harper shrugged her shoulders.

“FighterTown is my home. I’ve always lived here, and I like the atmosphere of the base, so that counteracts the boredom of my work” she explained. The brunette turned when a beer appeared right in front of her face. It was Bradley, who brought many bottles in the other hand, for the rest. Harper thanked him with a smile, accepting the drink, and watched him pass through the rest of his friends repeating the action. Then, he leaned against the pillar next to Harper’s stool and took a sip of his drink.

She was grateful when the conversation drifted away from her and the pilots started joking with each other while playing darts or pool. She was occasionally brought back to the conversation, explaining some anecdote so she could continue the conversation. A while later, Fanboy offered her his cue when he lost to Hangman and she accepted it with a smile as she watched Coyote and the blond man place the balls back on their place to start again.

“Have you ever played?” asked Hangman once they were ready, indicating he let her throw first.

“Sometime” she replied shrugging before hitting the cue ball, which hit the other and sent one straight into the corner net. She changed position and hit another one, getting it in the net too.

“A pilot?” asked Bradley, arms folded, but with a smile. Harper laughed, not noticing the confused looks of the rest.

“Yes. I was taught to play when I was ten. I didn’t even reach the table, I had to use a chair. We played at the base pool when they had some free time. I always thought they let me win so I wouldn’t feel bad” she told them, moving around the table and hitting balls. She got two more before missing.

“You weren’t that bad, apparently” said Phoenix, amused to see Hangman’s frown, who seemed much more focused on the game than before.

“You’re a Navy brat, aren’t you? One of your parents was in the Navy. That’s why you lived on the base” said Halo, the other female pilot. Harper nodded leaning on her cue.

“Yeah, I’m a descendant. Well, I don’t know if I can be considered one because my father was a pilot and I’m a doctor. The funny thing is that when I was a kid I wanted to be like you, like him. I wanted to be a pilot” she told them. Not even Bradley knew that.

“What changed your mind?” asked Bob curiously. Bradley was about to change the subject to save her, assuming it had to do with her father’s death, but she beat him to it.

“I guess I realized I was more into medicine” she replied sincerely. “That and the fact that I’m afraid of heights” she added half-joking, making the rest laugh.

Bradley had to admit that he was surprised by her answer. Her natural way of admitting her fears, her elegant way of deflecting the questions that she didn’t want. He followed her with his eyes as she continued to play pool with Hangman. Watching her shy smile as the rest jumped to celebrate with her that she had beaten the blond pilot. And he couldn’t but smile when her eyes met his in the commotion. He was really smitten by that incredible woman.

At one point in the evening, they saw Maverick arrive, but instead of approaching them, he headed to the bar to talk to Penny. Harper imagined what was happening. She knew those two had history together, as Amelia had explained to her, so Maverick was saying goodbye to her because it was his last day ashore for a while.

A couple of hours later, Harper began to notice the effect of the three beers she had had. She wasn’t drunk enough to have a hangover the next day or to not know what she was doing, but she did felt lighter, freer. At the time, she was with Phoenix, who was telling her her story at the academy and how she got to be the first of her class. After so long, Harper had to admit she had missed hearing the pilot’s stories, getting out of FighterTown through a story narrated by the protagonist theirself.

“You’re awesome. My father would have liked to have known you and taught you” she assured her, without realizing what she could be revealing with the comment. Phoenix caught it, but didn’t ask her, didn’t want to bother her by asking if her father was dead.

It was really late, and some of the pilots had already gone to rest for the important day they would have the next day. That’s why Bradley approached them after saying goodbye to the rest.

“Come on, Harper. I’m taking you home” he said, offering her a hand to help her get off the high stool. Harper took his hand and after getting down, she turned to look at Phoenix again.

“It was nice to met you, Natasha. See you tomorrow” she said before saing goodbye to Penny and then followed Bradley out of the bar.

The travel back was similar to the one before, with Bradley singing to songs on the radio while hitting his fingers on the steering wheel. Harper, on the other hand, was too focused on controlling herself and not letting her temptations get out of control because his beautiful voice. The alcohol wasn’t exactly helping. Once at her home, they both got off and Bradley walked her to the door.

“Thank you, for tonight. I had a great time” she told him once she had her door open, turning to look at him. He had leaned on the frame like that morning at the base, with his hip and shoulder, arms crossed. But this time Harper was close enough to notice the muscles in his arms tightening the fabric of his Hawaiian shirt and the tanned skin that peeked through the space of his chest.

“It was fine” he confirmed with a small smile, which provoked a new shot in Harper’s nervous system and she squeezed her thighs unconsciously, looking for some friction.

Like on the beach, he didn’t miss the movement and looked up and down as his smile grew bigger. That was the last straw. Throwing her self-control out the window, Harper dropped her purse and keys on the floor and grabbed the fabric of his shirt with a fist to reach up to kiss him once and for all. Bradley let out a surprised noice, which drowned in Harper’s mouth, but instanty kissed her back, wrapping her in his arms and pushed her so that they could enter the house and close the door with his foot. Then he turned them around and pushed her against the locked door so he could keep kissing her.

They parted because of the lack of oxygen and Bradley looked at her with a smile.

“I didn’t know you wanted me so bad” he joked.

Harper gave him a sarcastic laugh before putting her hands up to his neck to pull him down and kiss him again. This time, Bradley was expecting it and it didn’t take him long to keep up. As she entangled her fingers in his curls, he slid his hands down, reaching down to her thighs. He was really obsessed with them, always in his head, imagining how it would feel to have them around him. He took one of her legs up to his hip so they could be even closer. Harper groaned in his mouth as she felt him move between her legs, which ended up turning him on even more.

“Room?” he asked between her lips.

“Room” she confirmed likewise, sliding from his arms to guide him upstairs and to her room. Once inside, Bradley was the one to lured her back to his body to kiss her, and as he did so, he stroked her down her sides to her thighs before climbing again, this time under her dress. “Rooster…” she groaned when she felt it, but he stopped to look at her.

“Don’t. Don’t say that. You can’t call me that” Harper smiled amused. She’d been listening all night to his friends call him Rooster, so it had come out like that. She preferred his real name anyways.

“Okay. Bradley” she whispered close to his ear, getting the man to shiver. She felt powerful, more than ever. Bradley lifted her softly and put her on the bed gently before climbing on her to kiss her again. This time, when he put his hands under her skirt, it was she who stopped him.

“Wait” she murmured nervously.

“What is it?” he asked worried.

“I’ve never done this before” she confessed.

“What? You…” he started confused, and quite surprised.

“Do I have to remind you that I haven't dated any pilot and that’s the only thing I have around?” she pointed out. Bradley smiled and kissed her again, this time more softly.

“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you. If something bothers you, don’t hesitate to stop me”

Harper nodded and let go of his wrist, letting him continue.
