Martha didn't get a Tennant Doctor because she didn't want a Tennant Doctor. Martha was the only one of RTD's companions who left the Doctor of her own volition, and only ever called him back on her own terms, when she had need of him.

Rose didn't leave the Doctor willingly. Rose was trapped in an alternate universe because it was either that or be stuck in a void with Daleks and Cybermen for the rest of time. And when she returned (primarily to warn the Doctor about the oncoming darkness caused by Davros but also because she wanted to be with him), she left with the Metacrisis Tenth Doctor and their own TARDIS because that was the only way to give her a satisfying ending from the viewpoint of the audience. (And even then, there are some fans who will tell you that nothing short of her being with the Time Lord Doctor in the prime reality is satisfying, but that just couldn't happen for reasons outside the narrative story.)

Donna didn't leave the Doctor willingly. Donna absorbed all of the intelligence of a Time Lord into her human brain, and this was going to kill her. She had to have her memory erased and be kept away from anything alien for presumably forever or else the knowledge would return and literally kill her. Donna begged the Doctor not to wipe her memory anyway, because she would rather have died than give up that life. Just like Rose, Donna had planned on staying with the Doctor for the rest of her life.

This was not the case for Martha. Setting aside the fact that Martha was treated like garbage for the duration of her season from a writing standpoint, by the end of season three Martha has realized two things: 1.) that she is goddamn brilliant and never deserved to feel like she was second best, and 2.) that she doesn't want the Doctor anymore. Unlike Rose, Donna, and Captain Jack, Martha leaves the TARDIS of her own free will, to pursue her own life and career outside the Doctor. Even Sarah-Jane says in "School Reunion" that she waited for the Doctor to come back for her; she didn't want to leave, not permanently! But Martha did. She chose to step away. The only other companion to have done this during RTD's run is Mickey, so I guess Martha wasn't the only one; still, she's the only one of the primary companions, the three women, to want to leave. She made that choice herself.

Now, does that mean everything about Martha's ending was perfect? No. As much as the "Smith and Jones" wordplay of her ending with Mickey is amusing (get it, like her first episode), it makes no sense when you consider that she was engaged when she returned in season four, and yet we never hear of that fiance again. I mean, I guess it's fine since it's not like we ever saw him? But what happened there? Why was no thought given to Martha's story there? What was she doing with Mickey in an active war zone? Why no mention of her in these three specials even though, last we heard of her, she was working with UNIT in a really important position? I like Mel well enough, but why couldn't Martha have been there instead? Especially since Martha and Donna had a preexisting friendship, and would have been delighted to see each other again?

With that said though, she doesn't need a Tennant Doctor. She didn't want a Tennant Doctor. Frankly, Tennant's Doctor doesn't deserve her with the way he acted ("Rose would know" right to her face, like -- dude, I get it, you're grieving, but that's fucking rude and Rose would NOT approve you using her memory to make another woman feel bad about herself). Martha's character arc was about recognizing her own brilliance and her own worth; standing on her own two feet as a PROPER doctor, Doctor Martha Jones, walking the earth and saving the world without a TARDIS or Torchwood or a Time Lord brain. Just her own fucking determination and brilliance.

Rose and Donna got Tennant Doctors because that was the way to make their final send-offs satisfying. Rose and a Tennant Doctor got to be in love and happy together in a parallel world, which is fitting considering that they were in love and never wanted to leave each other. Donna and a Tennant Doctor get to be besties and happy together in this reality, so that RTD has a convenient excuse to pull Tennant back into a story if he ever wants to again (since it'd be hard to explain why Tentoo came over, versus having Fourteen right there) . . . but also because, like Rose, Donna never wanted to leave the Doctor, she wanted to be with him forever.

But Martha didn't want that. Martha left on her own accord. She left with a smile on her face and her cell phone on the TARDIS console, so that when she said "here boy!" the Doctor would listen. She left on her terms, with him at her call, only there when she has use for him.

And honestly? Good for her.

fairy tail dragon slayer headcanons pt. 1

♡ what the first gen and second gen dragon slayers eat is pretty self-explanatory. all of their elements are... somewhat tangible. sting and rogue though? they're still figuring it out. rogue wonders if he can eat someone else's shadow, and sting immediately volunteers himself. "for science!" he says. the result is that sting almost passes out. oops. he insists they try on their friends, much to rogue's displeasure. the results are that sting is the most susceptible, then yukino, rufus, orga, and minerva is the least susceptible to magic drainage. sting insists rogue tries to eat an inanimate object's shadow, and nothing happens to it, so they decide that's the way to go.

♡ when wendy eats air, the oxygen levels thin. she has to be careful or she'll cause her allies and enemies alike to pass out. when sting eats light, the area gets darker and darker. this is great for rogue, who starts eating the shadows, and they manage to balance each other out.

♡ sting insists that different types of light taste differently. his favorite is light from golden hour, right when the sun is dipping below the horizon. moonlight will do in a pinch, but it's so diluted that it takes way more of it to recover sting's magic. he also gets sick if he eats too much moonlight.

♡ pantherlily already has transformation magic and enhanced strength, and carla learns to transform so she can help wendy fight. the other three exceeds feel... a little left out. happy learns how to fly faster and for longer (though he still complains about lucy being heavy). lector goes to porlyusica and wendy to learn some stamina regeneration spells for sting. everyone is surprised when frosch, completely on their own, manages to learn an adorable light spell that creates floating pink bubbles. rogue can consume the shadows from them without worrying about draining frosch's magic, and he spends the entire afternoon crying about it.

♡ dragon slayers are a bit like crows. their way of bonding with someone is through gifting trinkets. natsu will bring lucy, erza, and even gray pretty rocks or seashells that he's found on jobs. wendy picks up a new craft or hobby every week, so the members of fairy tail are constantly recieving handmade accessories from her (gajeel helps during the metalsmithing phase). gajeel does not buy cute things for people. he is like a dad in the fact that, when juvia mentions she wants watermelon, he buys her 20 watermelons. walking math problem fr.

♡ laxus has mixed feelings about his more draconic features and habits. he's never loved his magic because of the way he got it, and the memory of his father basically torturing him as he inserted the lacrima will stay with him forever. he tends to suppress dragon instincts more than anyone else in the group, and they all scold him for it. on a rare occasion, laxus will give in and buy something shiny (like a hairclip) for wendy. she has a little jewelry box for them that she guards fiercely.

♡ cobra considers himself more of a flying snake than a dragon. he once drew a picture that sent everyone into a laughing fit. he prefers to stick with the old oración seis crew, but the guild dragon slayers are always happy to see him when he stops by with crime sorcière.

♡ sting, because of his heightened senses and his affinity for light, prefers nighttime. the day can often be overwhelming, and overexposure to bright settings and lots of people leaves his skin buzzing. he likes to sit in the dim guild hall, leaning against the cool stone wall, as the chatter of the crowd quiets down with the setting sun.

♡ dragon slayers all have the Bite instinct. some exercise a degree of control about it, and others go crazy with it. wendy will very gently nibble on erza or mira's arm when she's in the mood, and sometimes she does it absentmindedly. natsu, on the other hand, is an absolute menace. multiple of erza's armor sets have natsu-shaped bite marks on them. he tends to go after her the most because he knows he won't hurt her with the armor. when natsu's more calmed down, he will chomp on lucy's shoulder. gajaeel copes by eating all of fairy tail's silverware (mira starts buying ceramic spoons), but when levy offers her wrist to him he can't help it.

♡ rogue is another one who doesn't really bite people. he, very rarely, nips at frosch's ears, which causes the exceed to giggle. sting is a Biter like natsu, but with slightly more decorum. he really wants to go at it but will restrain himself because most people aren't willing to be treated like a chew toy. luckily for him, gray and cana aren't most people! because they both wear pretty exposing clothing, gray and cana have no qualms about showing off sting's bite marks on their skin. sting always turns bright red when they tease him about it.

♡ laxus and cobra don't really feel the Bite instinct due to being second gen, but cobra is a little shit and bites people for the fun of it. laxus is completely unbothered when natsu clings to him like a koala and gnaws at him.

Vampire Spawn Lore/Headcanons Help?

Hey friends and strangers, Long Post here.

I have noticed in my attempts at research that there is almost nothing but a stat block for Vampire Spawns. But we do know lots about Vampires themselves.

I'm going to break this down into things that are consistent in BG3 and a couple things I noted in other RPGs that could be relevant?

Please feel free to comment with things you believe are true or could be true, or things you know from actual Vampire/Vampire Spawn lore! It'll be fun to see what people in the community do, think, and use for story writing and such!!

(Also, please note that I wrote this between playing BG3, Deep cleaning my apartment, and ADHD kicking my ass, so apologies if it's a little scattered.)

What we do know, per Forgotten Realms Lore:

Spawn share their masters' weaknesses, to a lesser degree (can't enter private dwellings without permission, running water is acid damage, can't see themselves in mirrors, sunlight burns, garlic, etc)

They also can share their masters' strengths: Spawn are said to be able to turn into mist and climb on walls like a spider. They also seem to be able to charm & "Like most undead, their bite and touch caused blood drain and domination" (Aka. the spell Dominate Person)

Spawn do regenerate health, but the damage they take from running water & sunlight is higher than their regeneration, which is why they can die to these things.

Their features become more distorted/sharp/predatory when infected.

As Astarion mentioned, Spawn are less slaves and more puppets designed to do their master's bidding. Free will is non-existent, even if they're fully aware of what they're doing. Obviously it would depend on how controlling the individual Vampire is, but when given an order they cannot disobey.

Once a Spawn is freed, they can no longer be enslaved (by another Vampire. So, one master and if said master dies then the spawn is free to go on their merry way without fear.)

"When it came to a life of adventuring, vampire spawn would seek vengeance on their creators, or penance for their new damnation. If these monsters could overcome their ravenous emotions, they might seek out knowledge, glory, or power. Pride was the true driver of the vampire spawn, since they believed themselves better than others."

A point of contention: Yes a Spawn can feed from their master to become a True Vampire, but the Spawn needs permission to do so. It's a consent thing. So, yes, while it would be nice to bully Cazador into turning Astarion with a series of fun intimidation checks, that man would rather die than concede.

Besides, per the Lore True Vampires lose their humanity in the process of the change and all of their emotions twist into dark shadows of themselves. Love becomes possessiveness, etc.

Stakes do not kill Vampires, they paralyze them. Thus making it easier to kill them. Astarion's preferred death of decapitation is - from what I've seen - one of the most widely supported ways to permanently kill a Vampire in not just FR Lore, but IRL too.

Some other things that I thought were interesting: (Admittedly this could be partially due to the tadpole)

Despite the inherent nature of Vampire Spawn, Astarion doesn't seem to be evil - in fact, the more we learn about him, the kinder he seems and the more the evil act seems to be for protection. He's definitely firmly self-serving and Chaotic, and will forever be a mischievous chaos gremlin who talks shit and plays mean-spirited pranks on people for sure, but he is kind.

Astarion seems to be able to imbibe in at least drink if not food as well. He's shown drink wine at several points throughout the story.

He sweats and bleeds and salivates, indicating he does have bodily function to some degree. (I'll touch on this a bit later.)

If his features are distorted/more predatory HOW SOFT MUST HE HAVE LOOKED BEFORE WHAT THE FUCK?

ALL OF CAZADOR'S SPAWN HAVE SOULS. This is Weird for Vampires/Undead.

Notes from other (Non-FR) Lore sources:

Midgard (D&D 5e supplement from Kobold Press):

Vampire Spawn are able to have children and sometimes those children are Dhampir/Dhampyr (do with this what you will)

Honestly this system has a ton of cool lore, but that is the only different Spawn-specific thing I found by skimming. But if you want lots of Vampire/Dhampir/cool character backgrounds related to those things? Please take a look. Not associated, just found it while researching and Thought It Was Neat.

General/IRL Vampire Lore:

Originally Vampires couldn't see themselves in mirrors because they were backed with a thin layer of silver - a very pure metal said to repel vampires and werewolves. So theoretically a Vampire in the today times would be able to be seen in a mirror, as ours have aluminum backings. So you could, potentially, with a bit of work, find an exotic mirror that might work for Astarion and the horde of other Spawn you may or may not have released into the Underdark.

Running water has the same implications in that it's pure, which is why a Vampire can't touch/cross it.

Sunlight as a Vampire weakness only came about during the film Nosferatu where it then became public lexicon - prior to that, Vampires were more active at night, but not inactive during the day.

I read somewhere - probably on this hellsite - that a Vampire's fangs are technically their reproductive organs, and I hate it. Please make this joke more in fanfics.

I can't remember where this came from:

I remember reading somewhere that Vampires probably need to feed in order to continue to have regeneration properties. So they have blood/fluids but they need to feed to be able to maintain those fluid levels. So if a Vampire gets injured, they'll continue getting weaker until they feed rather than naturally recouperating like other beings. - This actually ties really well into both the lore Astarion's exhaustion and hunger when he asks to feed on the player. It's the first time he's had to fight in a long time, and he was mostly starved by Cazador, so his vitality is quite low. (Unfortunately this wouldn't be very fun mechanically if implemented that way, so it's headcanon territory.) EDIT TO ABOVE: Apparently he's only feeding to see if he can disobey Cazador per his Origin route, but leaving that up as it's a valid interpretation if the Origin is excluded, since there's no reason to think otherwise as the Player Character.

Vampires look more alive once they feed. They may be a little warmer, have a bit of color in their cheeks again, etc. Different to VtM's Blush of Life as this is specific to feeding, when the other is a skill that can be performed.

As weird as it is to think about, I love whatever the fuck this answer is on Quora: It goes into depth from the perspective of a Vampire on how the body processes nutrients and expels waste.

CAN VAMPIRE SPAWN EAT & DRINK? IS IT A TADPOLE THING? Honestly this could go either way for me. I do like the VtM interpretation of not being able to keep it down for long if they do.

HOW DOES THE BODY WORK? DIGESTIVE SYSTEM? CIRCULATORY SYSTEM? Idk tbh. Please help. (Though I do like the non-regenerative fluids idea.)

i strongly believe that dazai will be shipped back (and i hope he does plssss) but i also believe junichiro could an interesting possibility! especially considering it was mentioned his ability was good for assassination

i’ve seen theories regarding the others and i’ll explain why i don’t think they will get shipped off

Kenji- i completely understand how this idea would be interesting, especially considering how upbeat he is and how powerful as well. some think that kenji can be manipulated and easily reformed in the mafia and made into a dangerous weapon. while i’m not debunking it, i can’t get completely behind it. we’ve only seen kenji loose his ray of sunshine once, also being described ti only have lost it one previous time, both of these times were due to the endangerment of his friends. this kid has crazy self control but when he loses it, he’s clocking shit left and right- he’s quite honestly a loose canon i’m that regard and i think mori knows this and would rather not fuck around and find out (i would too honestly)

atsushi- the idea of atsushi being transferred is so cool! id love to see it but i don’t think they would choose him. they don’t really gain much by having him on their side, yea he’s a tiger and can regenerate but theirs A LOT of people in the mafia who have abilities related to strength- so picking another one rather than someone with a more broad sense of skill/ability seems wasteful- mori is more calculating than that

The way I gasped when the 14th got lasered I was heartbroken I thought: "No way he can't not finish the episode that's not fair!"

I was so glad that he wasn't going to regenerate alone this time though (and the energy was so soft and so pretty??). BUT THEN—

HE FREAKIN' DID IT AGAIN! His last word was going to be Allons-y and he faked us out! AGAIN. I screamed at the tv so hard man

physically felt my heart sink when the regeneration energy came back and then it absolutely soared when the 15th came out of him and then they separated into two! (he's regenerated into 2 people twice now. David Tennant I applaud you)

I come baring angst: Human Plum gets seriously injured in battle and Peach gets flashbacks to Sea Monster Plum's death

“come out!” Peach rolled her head against the solid wooden floor where she’d been knocked down to, feeling its cold wet surface on her forehead. It took all her effort to push her body up, shoving a shattered crate off her, one hand falling on a barrel close by, dragging the woman to her feet thanks to its support. “I know that didn’t kill you- so come up and face the music! Let’s finish what we started, old friend.” The voice was chilling, a voice she’d swore she’d heard the end of, one irritating bounty hunter who’d stalked her for years hoping to reap the rewards for her capture. Her foe was clever, kept peach’s body regenerating, it weakened her, she slowed down when having to heal at such a rapid rate. She’d been knocked into the cargo hold by boxes and debris, falling hard. It was only once back up, eyeing the hole she’d fallen in that peach noticed the long 30cm splinter of wood poking from her side. It hurt. She was immortal, and yet would feel everything, from paper cut to canon ball, there was some unfair rule there, reminded of its irony as the wood was pulled from her with rattled breaths. It even hurt to heal up at her accelerated rate, feeling organs knit together, tissue stinging, tugging back to its original form.

By the time the woman made it back to the top deck, the ship was quiet, waiting. The crew she’d come to love were injured, tired, but still fighting on, the image of Grey managing to defend one of the smaller men, felling the enemy was a mild relief. Her eyes landed on the more obvious thing she was looking for, seeing her captain in the white jacket be singled out by the hunter who’d come here. Her steady pace turned to a run, blade drawn, ducking and diving around other fights going on. Her men, the staff she loved seeing what she was going for, stopping all other incoming hostiles so she could make her way there unhindered, watching as plum’s blade was knocked from her hand, her body stepping back in retreat slowly, looking at the oncoming, daunting form of this man. She did not run, even though she should have, you could see on her face she was frozen with fear, the strong grab for her jacket dragging her closer to this man who was not looking at her, instead locking eyes with his prey, the item of desire that he’d hunted for so long, Peach, skidding to a stop a few meters away. “Let her go Mulligan, this is between us.” The man seemed relaxed, his body littered with scars, many of which peach had made, a sleek long jacket that had seen better days and a swept back messy dark mop of hair peppered with silver. “I never thought you’d join a crew again, it’s made you soft.” She had a lot of mortal allies now, pressure points this hunter could squeeze, one specific one currently in his grasp, slowly reaching for something while his attention was elsewhere, an act Peach saw, she had to keep his eyes on her. “I’ve sunk three of your ships, you this desperate to make it a fourth?” His grin gave a glint of gold, the canines in his mouth coated in metal, his sword now lowered to face her, ready for Peach should she advance, as if Plum was no longer a threat. “Immortality does not mean Invulnerability. You have weaknesses now.” His tug to Plums jacket brought her closer, one of her hands pushing against him, a futile move to feign a useless behaviour, while her other hand continued to sneak behind her, up to her belt slowly. She had one shot, she couldn’t get seen and ruin it. “Call your men off, you can all go back to your ship and leave alive while theres still a chance.”

It all happened so fast, he seemed to ponder the option, and in that moment, as his eyes sat on his target, Plum finally got the shot in she was betting on. Her hand reached a dagger, whipping it out, shoving it right under this mans ribs in a swift motion, up into the vital organs, twisting it as she went. He lurched from the pain, giving Peach an opening, body moving in, sword sinking right into his gut, in one end and out the other. Both women were close, seeing him slump a little, body going heavy, before his head shot back up, face to face with the pirate, the one he’d hunted for years. “Just kidding.” With a mighty grunt, the man stood tall and kicked, peach being knocked down, taking her sword with her from his body, able to look up, he was fatally wounded, his grasp tightening around Plum’s wrist, dagger still in him, blood dropping to the floors as the fights around them continued on. “Did you think you were the only one to figure it out? The only one to gain such a gift?” She got back up, a little winded but fine, sword ready, disbelief forming. “I can hunt you to the ends of the earth if I have to now, and I’m going to take everything you loved along the way!” There was no time to move, no time to act quick enough. Mulligan plunged his sword into the captains torso, a central hit, the pain that rattled through Plum forcing her to make some ungodly shout, before his grip loosened and she slid off his weapon to the floor, a heap, curling in on herself out of instinct.

There was no thoughts that echoed in her head, nothing, it went blank. Peach didn’t register that she’d become reckless in her movements, he was getting hits in on her, plenty, but not one slowed her down, she was relentless in backing the hunter up to the rails.
“You can’t kill me! All this rage and you finally can’t be rid of me!” His laugh made her sick, head tipped back in a jovial state as she kept her sword in his shoulder to push him to a prone position. “I’m glad you cant die you piece of shit!” The sword in her grip was held with such ferocity she was able to pin in to the wood of the ship, still through him so he was held in place. “I’m going to show you what immortality is like first hand!” He picked a fight with the wrong person, her hand finding a side arm, a small short sword on his person, whipping it out. Grey by this point had rushed to his captain, their men triumphing around him, not picking her up, almost afraid to move her. She was still breathing, the blood pouring from her wound alarming in amount, growing paler by the second. He watched as this monster, the reason his captain was hurt, the reason they were attacked by hunters, the cause of this all, carved the heart from her foes chest. It was not like a human heart, it looked like an eel was coiled up, but also, there were plates of perhaps crab shell on it? It beat in her hand, the body remaining limp and lifeless as she pulled her sword and pushed it overboard. The heart was pinned to the wood railing, still beating despite the sword through it, before he saw the monster turn to face the consequence of her presence here. She couldn’t bring herself to approach, the look Grey gave her was…disgust, fury, and rightly so. She did this. As their foe finally all fell, dead or dying, the ships doctor was rushed out, priority being captain, she’d sustained the worst wounds, by far, even his typically tired and docile behaviour was now urgent.

The woman felt her legs give way, body sinking to a seated position, the sound of that heart beating beside her, it’s echo the only sound that cut through. The shake in her hands and the shallowness in her breathing made it hard to focus. It was happening again, she was losing something she treasured above all else once more. She so desperately wanted to get up and be beside Plum, hold her hand, but it was her fault, this was her doing, everyone was thinking it, they had to be. The flashes of her wife kept cutting in, moments she’d felt this same fear, gut wrenching, horrifying, awful fear that froze her on the spot.

Grey had sat the captains head in his lap while Doc tried to fix the damage, one of his hands holding hers, several crew members around trying to stave off their worry. He was so mad, so furious that this monster had wormed its way into their ranks and created this nightmare situation. He warned Plum that the pirate was bad news, that she’d bring an end to them all in time, and this now dying woman he’d come to respect ignored him. Now look. When he glanced up, Peach was gone, he’d not even noticed her move, the heart she’d carved out was missing too. He’d not know that she had slunk to her small quarters, gathered her things, and gone to the very back of the ship, calling for her serpent companion. She had to take this heart, and herself as far away from these people as possible. There was now an empty ship sat out at sea, their crew dead, she’d take that and leave.

The crew would later notice the apparently empty ship that had once come to kill them all start to move away, one lone woman on the deck of it, a writhing body beneath the waves pulling it along. For the first time in hundreds of years, Peach cried, alone on a ship, moving away from someone she’d wished she’d never gotten near, her desperation to just have anything around her that reminded her of better times an unfortunate trap. People got close to her, and then they died. Her wife was right, life did have a habit of repeating itself. Maybe if she left, some luck would return to the crew.

Peach had spent several months at sea, wandering an empty ship, no company other than the now present body of Mulligan, she’d thrown the heart in a cell and waited. Within a week, his body had reformed around the core, and he was back, alive. Removing it wouldn’t kill him, simply pause his destruction. He was subject to insurmountable torture, Peach knew he’d never die from it, so why not? He’d come to a crew she loved, and killed the last shred of anything that mattered to her. Nothing mattered once again. She drowned her sorrows, only forced to return to a port when the ship ran out of alcohol, taking a moment to sell the canons, sell the goods, pawn off the loot mulligan had gathered, and restock with enough booze to numb out everything. Until that was finished, she held up in a seedy bar, and waited for the docks to finish removing all the unnecessary gun power. What use were canons on a ship destined to be her eternal home? It’s not like she needed them.

Thats where she sat, she did not leave the bar, she did not get up, nor bother to eat, or even do more than continue to drink, until nothing seemed to creep into her head at all. Numb herself out, just make existing tolerable. The sounds of rushed footsteps approached, she didn’t even turn to them, not even defending herself when someone pulled her to face their direction, a sharp painful slap striking her cheek. The sound cut the chatter in the bar, everyone watching on as a small, long haired woman stood before one of the most notorious names in the pirate game. Peach focused up, not even shocked, defeated, finally able to look up at the person who’d come at her with such hostility. It was like looking at a ghost, her eyes widened a little, body straightened up, pressing herself up against the bar to get as far away as possible. “You- You didn’t-“ “No. I did not die. But you!” Her slaps returned, another sharp hit that peach didn’t try to stop, staring dumbfounded at Plum. Alive. Well. The colour was back in her face, she didn’t share the same fate as her wife. “You have some nerve to just run off like that, no note, no explanation, no nothing!” Another slap, she was leaning in, so mad, the fury of this woman something to see, small as she was, she didn’t half ass her anger. “I thought you’d come see me when I woke up, but NO! Nothing!!” Behind her Grey stood, angry, leant against a wall, mad that fate had brought them to the same port once more. He just wanted to steer clear of this woman, but luck was not on his side. “Give me the deed to the ship you took. Now!” It meant nothing to Peach, she didn’t even say anything, rummaging around in her pocket, pulling a folded piece of paper and handing it over. Plum pocketed it. The bar watched on as this tiny captain stared down someone with a bounty on her head large enough to buy an entire fleet of ships and then some, and she wasn’t fighting it, wasn’t causing trouble, she stayed quiet. The captain turned and started to leave, Peach was just happy to see she didn’t die, breathing a sigh of relief before returning to her drink. The footsteps returned, this time she flinched for another slap, didn’t receive it, looking back at Plum’s stern expression. “Why are you still sitting here? We’re leaving port tomorrow, theres work to do!” Peach’s sip hesitated, looked from her, to Grey, he was shaking his head, a mild threat in how he stood, in how he glared at her. “I’m not going, you guys have fun with the new ship. Mulligan’s in the cells…don’t let him out. Just going to hold up here and finish my drink.” The glass in peach hand is swiped, she doesn’t even have a say, watching Plum knock back its contents, slam it on the counter and grab the half filled bottle so she couldn’t pour another. “Drinks finished. Let’s go.” Captain turns and leaves, bottle in hand, moving past Grey, his stern form still just stood, hoping something would stop this from happening. Peach sees him, sighs, stands up, and walks past him. Pauses beside where he’s leant, out of earshot from Plum. “You don’t have to look at me like that. I know… I’ll get out of this somehow.” Before continuing to follow the small woman, stood by the door waiting, ushering them both to hurry up and follow.

Peach and Plum have a huge argument before leaving port, and it comes out that Peach is CONVINCED immortality was never the curse, it was her, shes the problem. Everything she ever loved is gone and she knows its her fault. Being near Plum makes it all the more likley that she'll lose another thing that matters to her. The only part of her sad, frustrated rant Plum hears is that this woman, this terrifying, undying, woman, cares about her. Queue one hell of a passionate kiss.

being absolutely fr vicki is sooooo tired dealing with her cursed gfs. she loves them! but they r so much all the time she deserves a nap

vampire!nancy, when she found out wtf was going on, refused to feed on anyone close to her out of real fear that she wouldn’t know how to stop (even though a lot of them offered bc Nancy Please Don’t Starve) and that actually ended with nancy putting a very wrong place wrong time carol in critical condition after she ran into a struggling nancy outside of her house (possible max induced karmic punishment?? haven’t decided yet) but this freaks nancy tf out and now she has a schedule for feeding so she never does smth like that again

in all honesty i don’t know how kali would meet up w the sapphic senate UNLESS the core 4 + barb left hawkins for a night out and ended up running into kali who was like omg.... sapphics... and decided to see what was going on only for nancy to clock someone was following them in like 15 minutes

my general idea of the sapphic senate absolutely includes ronance + chricki being a sapphic friend group only to merge after one (1) night of wine and truth or dare (in an effort to recapture their stolen youth ofc).

chrissy, being the upside down tuned medium, actually talks to a dead fred quite often, where he finds closure bc chrissy is real life nice and listens to him

the very small house that all of them temporarily share is daytime proof for nancy’s sake, who’d rather be able to get up and walk around during the day instead of hiding under a blanket in a dark room waiting for the sun to go down

they wish they could ww proof the house to keep robin inside and from getting into trouble during the full moon but it is Too Small and everything would break so nancy, kali, and barb have to act as herders as best they can to keep robin in a safe area.

nancy sits in the lap of whoever she’s feeding from in the moment im speaking MY truth

also think that if they all went out on a late night date and the sun started rising they’d have to carry bat nancy in a backpack to keep her from getting wicked sun burn (she complains the whole time ofc)

robin is who nancy feeds off of the most simply because she heals so fast and regenerates everything nancy took in a like an hour so she feels the least bad (robin insists it’s bc she tastes the best and nancy always vehemently denies it (kinda is true though)).

I think it had to be 'Rose' all the way back in the early 2010s. I cannot remember the exact year, but I'd say it was at least ten years ago.

11. Who is your Doctor?

I feel like this is such a generic answer but I have to say 10. When I first saw his seasons way back when, I was absolutely floored by them. I remember his episodes the best and still rewatch them all the time. His regeneration into 11 still makes me super emotional too.

45. Favorite series opening?

Id have to say it's a tie between series 1-4 (9/10) and 8's from the Big Finish audios. The visuals for the vortex in 9s and 10s seasons was so neat and looked very- I don't have the words for it but it has a good feeling to me. With Eights, there's a kind of darkness to the theme that really fits with who he is as a character. Starts off very whimsical, but then becomes darker and darker as the series continues and you start to see why his theme sounds so dark in the first place. Same kinda thing with Nines and Tens. The music itself feels very dark and... Scary almost. Makes sense since we're coming back from a hiatus that had a war The Doctor is JUST coming back from.

I do also wanna say as an honorable mention that Elevens and Fourteen/Fifteens looks Very Nice too. Love a vortex interpretation thats all cloudy.
