I’ve been stuck on this idea. Jinx reader with the batfam…I know you had it in your master list and I’ve been thinking about it for a while. Maybe when the reader was little, they doodled and made little trinkets like powder. So I’m thinking that the reader doodled on batmans tools. Kinda like how powder/jinx made their weapons with faces on them.

So maybe Batman and the rest of the boys were gone and reader snuck into the bar cave and started doodling on their masks and weapons.

And just another thought 😅

When reader is older, they become a vigilante, causing chaos for the fun of it but also doing it for good. They also move out when they were a kid, because maybe Batman called then a jinx (I’m really going for the arcane storyline 😭😭😭)

Maybe the batfam tries to bring her back, but she just kinda runs away laughing while throwing glitter bombs 😭😭😭

Just something I thought of

I don’t usually write reader as childhood friends with the guys here unless it’s cat villain (which is more like childhood rivals) so this is quite the change.

In my og storyline which i have semi spoiled and will spoil some more here : Jason and Jinx! Reader were part of a found family and Jason having a massive crush on reader gave them tools to make explosives they really shouldnt have. Which is kind of poetic knowing how he ‘dies’.

I’m not sure if this ask is platonic or romantic so I’ll just go with my preference, the latter.

this is just a little snippet since i started working on jinx reader again huhu wanna save the juicy stuff for that one

Jinx! Reader was known as the runt of the litter among Bruce’s adopted children. Physically weak, above average in smarts but nothing compared to the rest. The only thing they had going for them was their skill with firearms which Bruce heavily discouraged and admonished the practice of.

Jason and you bonded with rebelling against him. He’d often bring you out to abandoned arcades that you two would repair from scraps you found in the Batcave. Dude was down atrocious. He kept bringing you to missions purely because he couldn’t resist your face. Sure he was snarky at times, but your common upbringing made him more soft around you. (Sometimes he purposely puts you in situations where you’d get caught just so he can ‘save’ you. The way you hold unto him for dear life is…simply exhilarating)

But try as he might, he could never fill the hole you had in your heart. Your desire for a complete family. For validation. For Bruce to finally acknowledge your worth. For Damian to stop calling you a fucking waste of space.

You ended up screwing a mission so badly that you indirectly killed dozens of Gotham citizens.

Usually you would just compromise their positions during patrols but this was… this was something irreversible. Something that affected friends, families, actual living breathing people.

Bruce had a tight cap on his emotions, but he just couldn’t stop himself from taking out his anger, grief and frustration out on you.

Dick and Jason managed to pull him back before he could hurt you beyond a punch to the face, but the psychological damage had already been cemented.

You run away, running into Harley Quinn.

But instead of following the path my og jinx reader did, Joker wasn’t there to fuck with your head even further. So you sought to repay for your sins.

Still, the screams. The way Bruce called you useless, a jinx. The memories of being neglected and inferior.

Sometimes chaos was the only way to make it shut up.

Y E S. The whole concept was based off of a BL Novel I once read where the entire plot was the ML being too dense to realize that jerking off his buddy and wanting to monopolize him aint so cishet behavior.

Himbo is a tactical genius when it comes to manipulating reader and he doesn’t fucken realize it. He’s going by pure instinct to possess reader for himself. Pushing boundaries of their’s cause he knows they’re close enough that they wont mind. Erasing lines cause “they’re friends and should always be open and supportive towards one another.” Getting mad and whiny in the rare times they attempt to refuse so that you’ll feel bad for not letting him get what he wants.

Poor Dense! Reader never really had their thoughts and opinions respected, and so they aren’t used to being entertained much in that aspect. They’re the no thoughts as long you’re happy type of person. And since Yan! Himbo is their closest and only friend they can only grin and take it when he drags them to the locker rooms for some fun times. They’re more afraid of him leaving them than of their privacy being invaded.

Dense! Reader had a crush on himbo for so fucken long but with the lack of experience they’re just 🙂 at everything. So you can’t really blame Himbo for not noticing when Dense! Reader doesn’t know this is stuff couples do, and therefore can’t truly show how happy they are.

At this point the two of them have rings and signed a contract where the two of them can never be apart, but they still think of the other as bros.

“What’s more bro-like than getting promise rings ! Haha, we should all totally move in together next. What’s wrong with our current arrangement? Duh We sleep in different bunks. True bros sleep beside each-other all the time. We can help one another with that problem much easier this way!”

But then he grew up, he realized that you were you. A devil. A person who had no true goals or aspirations just greed for money and a stone heart to come with. You weren’t awe-inspiring, just downright evil. But that didn’t stop his heart from racing when he laid his eyes upon you once more. Your room was a special one in the fortress, much more tightly locked and guarded.

just thinking

the batfam are awfully fixated on fixing reader a lot. they want you to stop your kleptomaniac ways. for you not to hurt people for the sake of your ideals.

i feel like it’s only with other villains where reader can truly be themselves and not be judged

which would make for some interesting dynamic where yes, they could be given a chance at redemption and be with the people they love.

but on the other hand, there are also these people who don’t care if you’re the worst of the worst as long as you’re with them. they’ll accept you for who you are and more.

like whenever you propose taking down someone(admittedly corrupt/evil) through violent means, the boys would most likely be like “hot but no.”

but your villain buddies would be like “that’s so hot, yes!!”

they’re just unequivocally devoted and supportive of what you and who you are that they’d be literally disappointed if you act in a way that isn’t you (but still love you anyhow)

like if reader is usually very prideful and greedy for example

maybe you worked with a friend for a heist and they ask to keep all of the money cause they either need it or will be using it for future projects together

but naur reader is like “uh no.”

but then villain friend continues to insist.

and reader goes “i’m keeping half and nothing less. and by nothing less that means stealing all of your share if you refuse.”

and villain friend, instead of being mad is just like, “as expected my dear i knew you wouldn’t go down so easily.”

they’re just so smitten with you

and it would make for one big bloody fight for when the batfam starts influencing you with their icky ‘justice’ driven acts.

(fucken realized that writing this just cements that Jason is the best match for Cat Villain! Reader good lawd cause you know he’d be supportive for everything they do but makes sure Reader stays grounded)

Oh! Question ⁉️ when you said some villains that villain cat MC have or had relationship with, who are those villains is having relationship with them ( maybe heros too bc let's be honest here, there's a lot of ships out there cannon or not) well except for Jason as much I love him, am curious about others too (that have a relationship with villain cat MC)

For platonic villains I’d say CV! Reader was close to Joker before the whole torturing and killing Jason thing, they’d regularly prank each other. Hence they’re pretty close to Harley and therefore Ivy in the current time. Ofc there’s cat woman. They’re also very close to the Superfam. Particularly Jon cause he’s just an adorkable boi but he’s more on the romantic end.

He has a huge crush on them. Very much the simping for the older kid of the group sort of thing.

They also like tackling Aquaman and biting him like a fish.

Anyways back to villains. I feel like the Al Ghuls in general have a soft spot for CV! Reader.

They like trolling Lex Luthor a lot. Lex is incredibly intrigued by CV! Reader’s harem making capabilities that he often forgives their pranks in exchange for a chat or two. Though Penguin takes the crown for the most trolling.

They’re also platonically close with the Riddler cause they share similar ideals when it comes to the truth. But not to his extreme.

Punchline views CV! Reader as a status symbol almost? Like them acknowledging her would giver her a sense of legitimacy. But they kinda just feel weirded out if not completely disgusted by her and anything related to Joker that isn’t Harley. Hell the latter took a while before she could appear around CV! Reader without triggering them.

I also have a few oc! Villains that work with CV! Reader but that’s for another day.

Feel free to add more. I’m not well versed in DC villains so I’m up for suggestions. Reader is you after all so the sky is whatever limit you put on yourself
