We just have to wait. Plus a moot of mine in Japan said everyone in Japan is assuming he’s alive and only Americans/ English speakers are freaking out… SO
Gojo will live.
Thank you nonnie for your thoughts. EVERYONE WILL GOJO DIE? OR WILL HE LIVE? idc since the LOML died ages ago 💔☹️

Team Kakashi🐶
I selected flowers not only by color, but also based on their symbolism. Each picture has a description and explanation attached🍒
Naruto - Sunflower
Almost everywhere, sunflowers express joy, hope and friendship. They also represent longevity, adoration and strength. Additionally, sunflowers are a symbol of peace, brightness and acceptance.
Sasuke - Camellia
Since ancient times, camellia has been considered in Japan as a divine and noble flower, symbolizing, on the one hand, dignity, longevity and constancy, and on the other, sadness, coldness and insensitivity. In ancient times, the red camellia was a symbol of the sun goddess Amaterasu.
Sakura - Lotus
Opening at dawn and closing at sunset, the lotus represents rebirth, renewal of vitality, return of youth, immortality.
The lotus combines solar and lunar principles; it is equally close to water and fire, the chaos of darkness and divine light.
Kakashi - Forget-me-not(myosotis)
In many cultures, forget-me-nots are a symbol of fidelity despite separation and other difficulties, memories of past loves, unbreakable bonds and precious memories.

New Art? Okay
I'm speedrunning this though
Tumblr media
Takemichi:
- four-leaf clovers (his and Hinata's matching necklace; luck)
- cogs (time leap)
- morning glories? (love, innocence, promise?; can't find much about the Japanese symbolism, nextttt)
Tumblr media
Mikey:
- manjis (toman, his name, harmony, good fortune)
- red roses (deep love, romance, passion)
- a crown (well, it's Mikey)
Tumblr media
Draken:
- two dragons — one can be seen on his sleeve, the other on his pants (wealth, perseverance, wisdom, power, strength. Dragons are protectors as well)
- flowers, don't know which
Tumblr media
Mitsuya:
- three petals flowers, don't know which
- owls (good luck, protection against suffering/hardships)
- his and Draken's dragon inside the top part of the outfit (like he hides his dragon tattoo) (meaning: same as ^ for Draken)
- manji (I'm guessing every toman members has them here but there's only Mikey and Mitsuya's inside clothes we can see; harmony, good fortune)
Tumblr media
Chifuyu:
- snowflakes, for his name
- irises (purity, fending off evil spirits, hope, faith, loyalty, good news…)
- waves (renewal, cleansing, the flow of life, power/resilience, luck)
Tumblr media
Baji:
- forget-me-nots (true love, don't forget me (duh)) not sure if it's actually forget-me-nots tho
- bamboos (leaves) (strength/resilience, flexibility/adaptability, prosperity)
- crosses (don't carry much meaning unlike if it was Taiju – Baji has been drawn wearing a cross necklace more than once and Japan likes the 'Christian aesthetic'. At worst, it could represent his death and the fact he was the first death Takemichi didn't prevent even tho he was there)
Tumblr media
Ran:
- orchids, for his name (are seen as expensive and luxurious flowers)
- butterflies, well-known pollinating insects (believed to be human spirits last comming on earth, in the disguise of a butterfly, transformation, resilience, good luck, prosperity, happiness)
- spider web (like his tattoo on his chest) — the web is on the left (from our perspective) while his tattoo is on the right
Tumblr media
Rindo:
- Bellflowers, just like his name (love, honesty, gratitude, humility)
- bees; other well-known pollinating insects
- spider web (like his tattoo on his chest) — he only has the right sleeve on where the web is so we can see his side of the tattoo he got (on the left, for us)
Tumblr media
Izana:
- peacocks (kindness, care, love. In Buddhism peacocks are tied to Kannon, who is herself tied to compassion and mercy) (Japanese phoenixes are often depicted as the mix of a peacock and a pheasant)
- yin-yang (tenjiku's symbol; balance)
- chrysanthemums: the flower of the Japanese imperial family
Tumblr media
Shinichiro:
- cogs (time leap)
- tiger lilies (wealth, confidence, in Buddhism: mercy and compassion)
- chidori (lil bird; longevity, courage, determination, tenacity, perseverance)
- just grass/weed? or not?..
Sanzu:
- lotus (chastity, purity, linked to Buddhism)
- temari (lucky charms)
- knots, Mizuhiki (Japanese tradition) probably

Also I have a moot who lives in Japan… everyone there is not worried about this at all and is saying he will live as “death and revival” is common in final anime battles… so it’s only us English speakers freaking out.
Gojo is not dying. He may be gone a few chapters but everything his hunting he will heal his body and be back.
Gojo will live.
Im very sorry for the late reply
But yes, since Gojo has his head on, theres hope. But in the jjk237 leaks, theres absolutely no trace of his body or blood. Is it a drawing error or was he taken away? That aside, he can probably heal himself if thats how RCT works, and even if he cant, ieiri can.
The Japanese fans not being worried about him "dying' is interesting tho. I'll start following that idea.
So yes, Gojo will LIVE

Also all of the Japanese fandom are saying Gojo will come back and articles IN JAPAN have been made making fun of western reactions according to my Japan moots.
Death and comebacks are popular in Japan final battles. No I’m in Japan is worried and polls show more than HALF of JJK fans in Japan day gojo will heal himself.
Gojo is not dying. He may be gone a few chapters but everything his hunting he will heal his body and be back.
Gojo will live.

as much as i love those theories and gojo anon im sry to say that gojo didnt actually say goodbye to his friends 😭😭 and chapter 236 is titled "go south" although the other theories r good too i dont trust gege at all☹ all this symbolism could lead to something but man . im wary of that cyclops cat
jjk 238 leaks later today tho so im hopeful.....kinda...gege will probably put the spotlight on the students for now ugh the copium is insane in gojo gagger headquarters we're really going thru it rn 💀💀💀

anon i love the way you think!!! though him saying goodbye was a mistranslation, here’s some more evidence that points to gege temporarily removing gojo from the plot to allow it to move forward:
JJK has sold over 70 million copies, earning around $10-12 million for gege, he owes half of the popularity of his manga to Gojo, many people read JJK for Gojo.
If he actually ends up killing Gojo the manga sales will take a dip down to hell.
An editor's job is to stop the mangaka from taking rash decisions that can cause problems with the sales and over all plot. If you can't trust gege then trust the editor that he won't let gege do something that can possibly ruin the future of JJK.

Gege has been pretty quiet with Satoru's death so who knows. I'm probably in my acceptance stage with only a small part hoping he's alive but unlike season 2, Satoru's been severed in half and unless he finds a way to counter Sukuna's slashes it pretty much doesn't make sense how he'll come back and fight him with the Infinity basically worthless against Sukuna. And... Satoru mentioned how he gave it his all during their fight, his techniques, his body, and his experience but Sukuna didn't even give it his all.
I still hold faith in his "I will win." to Yuji... and at the same time, I'm not committed to Gege so yeah, if Satoru comes back I'd throw a party but if Satoru is really on the other side, I'm fine with it too.
Really... it's too soon for him to go down... even Megs, I don't think we've seen Megumi and Satoru in their full potential to go down so soon like this or maybe I was expecting too much...
As for the lotus, if ever Satoru does comeback I think it symbolizes his 'awakening' or 'enlightenment', the same as what happened with Toji. But let's face it bby has been cheating death quite some time and if he comes back again Yuji's character development might just be stunned again.

EXACTLY!! This is one of the theories I've been thinking about. RCT comes from the head/brain and all that. The other theories are also very convincing since it discuss about Gojo's relation with lotus flower symbolism, Buddhism, Shinto, 10 treasures, even Kashimo's name relation. It's all united into one conclusion AND THAT IS GOJO WILL LIVE ‼️

i wish i had your hopium but i gotta correct a few things here ... 1) it was said by i think kashimo (i dont even remember) that cursed energy comes from the gut, and gojo has been split into two from his stomach. toji never bisected him, even if he managed to stab him through the cranium. 2) gojo didn't say goodbye to his friends in the afterlife, that was a mistranslation. 3) he's not walking away from anything either ?? 4) the chapter title is called "going south" bruh...
listen. i so badly want him to come back. i really fucking do. i read jjk 0 when it came out in jump giga in 2017 and when it wasn't called jjk yet (it was called tokyo metropolitan curse technical school btw). i've been with gojo since mfing 2017... 2017!!! i've loved him for over 6 years now i can't even believe it's been so long.. i never expected that silly oneshot manga to become this popular 🥹 kinda makes me happy how loved jjk is currently :')))) but the fact of the matter is that gege has stated numerous times that he wants to finish jjk soon. he actually stated in late 2022 that he was planning on finishing it in 2023. gege's editor has come out and said that the manga will not be ending this year though, so my guess is somewhere around spring 2024 everything will be wrapped and and be donezo so that gege can move on to that goddamn idol manga he's been yapping about for a while now. so what am i trying to say with this tangent? i'm saying that jjk is ending soon and that gege has stated multiple times how difficult it was for him to write around the powerhouse that is gojo (which is just an admission of his own shitty writing/planning because mf YOU 🫵 are the writer like you are the one that created him!!! learn how to plan out your story and how to utilize the characters you yourself have created for it you stupid fucking cat i swear to god....). this all just screams to me that it's over. it's finished. gojo already died once and came back enlightened, he's not gonna have it a second time. not this close to the end. not after having been removed from the narrative for over a hundred chapters. not after seeing sukuna back at full health in his heian era form, something gege didn't even have gojo force out of him. like gege really got him out of the box so that he could be done with him unarguably and conclude his character arc because he wants to finish jjk.
gojo is dead, nobara is for sure dead, megumi is basically done for (we'll see him once more within the mind once yuuji does his soul cursed technique whatever bullshit on sukuna to have a talk but he's not coming back no more), and yuuji, the kid whose execution started this story, will be the only one left alive. gege said in an interview a while ago that he wanted to end jjk with either 1 of the main 4 dead, or only 1 of the main 4 alive. i think it's pretty obvious that person is supposed to be yuuji. "die surrounded by your friends" from the first chapter is going to turn into "all your dead friends will surround you". i am wholeheartedly convinced of this. i'm sorry, but after 3 years of having to sit through that worthless culling game arc leading to absolutely nowhere for our heroes, after realizing that there will never be a pay off for the last 100+ chapters because the whole point of the arc is now fucking dead just like that, i do not have it in me to have any faith nor hope in gege's writing skills. it's become painfully clear to me how mid that guy is at writing and how hard he is rushing towards the end. i have lost all faith and goodwill i used to hold for gege.

World building and theories of Engage
Zephia
Zephia's name is ‘Sepia ‘ in Japanese. Sepia is a brownish red colour however I think the name references something less flattering. Her starting class is Mélusine, which is a female spirit with fish characteristics, like a mermaid, therefore I believe that ‘sepia ‘ is taken from the Latin for the common cuttlefish, ‘sepia officinalis’. The various versions of the Mélusine tale have common features:
Guardian of a location - Zephia is guardian of Sombron and one of the shards
Cursed being - She is cursed with great power which resulted in the death of her family.
The succubus from another world who procreates with a human.
A seductress
A harbringer of death.
The cuttlefish was a symbol of good luck in Celtic and Japanese mythology due to their ability to adapt to their environment or to change to defend themselves. In the Bible the cuttlefish is associated with temptation and chaos due to their habitat; the unpredictable ocean. It was believed if cuttlefish was eaten, it filled the person with lust.
I will start from top to bottom with her design, upon her head she has elaborate horns. The horns could be a reference to tsunokakushi. At a Japanese wedding, a tsunokakushi is worn to cover the horns of jealousy and anger. Zephia's horns could be the symbol of her jealousy and anger. Horns are also associated with danger, many horned creatures are dangerous and they can be used to make weapons. Zephia is definitely a dangerous character. There are poisons made from the powder of horns. Veyle’s constant exposure to Zephia's ‘poison’ builds up an immunity that enables her to wield poisonous weaponry (dragonstones are believed to protect from poison as well). The shape of her two horns are similar to the crescent of the moon. If the horns symbolise the waxing moon then it is a sign of rebirth whereas if they symbolise the waxing moon then they are a sign of death. Devils and demons are depicted wearing horns; the devil in the Bible, satyrs in Greek mythology and oni in Japanese mythology. Horns are also used as the symbol of cuckoldry.
Not all associations connected to horns are negative. They can symbolise strength and fertility due to the connection with horned beasts pulling plows. The horned beast is seen as impregnating Mother Earth. I mentioned that horns symbolised the moon but they can also symbolise the sun. Across different cultures, the sun symbolises life and renewal, as well as being worshipped as a God. In the Bible, the sun is connected to God, his son and Mother Mary. In Buddhism the sun symbolises enlightenment and the awakening of the mind.
God's from many different traditions around the world are depicted with horns; Pan, Dionysus, Aphrodite (Greek) Hathor, Isis, Seth, (Egyptia),  Śiva, Pashupati, (Hindu), Cernunnos and Selene(Celtic). In this sense, horns are symbols of divinity and power. Yama is a god in Tibetan Buddhism who is often depicted with three red eyes, the face of a bull, two horns entwined with fire and a crown of skulls. Yama's role is to oversee the movement between repeated cycles of birth and death, and as a king, he encourages people to be careful with their desires and actions by frightening them. This makes him the judge of deeds and misdeeds and his judgement determines a person's rebirth. In some traditions he watches over the purgatorial aspects of the birth/death cycle.
The tassels from her horns could be a reference to the roots of the lotus plant. In Buddhism the roots represent the struggle and suffering a person goes through to attain enlightenment. The feathers could be mayurapattra. These feathers symbolise the peacocks ability to digest poison, a person is able to take in the poisonous desires of life and still continue on the path to enlightenment.
The ability to maintain abnormally long hair can represent beauty, royalty and divinity. A normal person cannot have hair that gets in the way of completing tasks, only royalty and deities can. Royalty can afford to have the hair cared for, styled in extravagant hairstyles and even carried by servants. Deities are deities, some must have anti tangle magic. Artemis was fortunate enough to have a nymph comb her long locks. In some Buddhist traditions, the head is shaved to detach a person from the desire of vanity, however, some buddhists do not cut their hair as they want the mind to be in a natural state. In the Bible, long hair is associated with strength, Samson's strength came from his uncut braided hair. For a woman to have long hair, it is considered her glory because it is a beautiful way to cover her heqd, maintaining her modesty (1 Corinthians 11:15)
The revealing nature of her outfit can be explained by her species; dragon mage.  Her body temperature is higher than a humans. The black, purple and pink colour way seem to be associated with Elusia and the Fell Dragon.
