Just had the fun idea of the batfam having water bottles full of lazarus water that they carry around and like, them customizing them. Drawing on the metal in Damian's case, covering them in stickers in both Tim's and Steph's case, weaving a hand warmer for the handle, etc
Just each of them having their own thermos of sorts for patrol and missions with the Justice League outside of Gotham.
Check out @phoenixcatch7 , this au is a combination of mine and hers (Possessed Doll Au) and you should go give her love <3

i want to make a sewing piece with flowers from different liberation movements — e.g. lavender for queers, poppy for Palestine...
anyone have information on flowers linked to other movements / cultures? For instance, Black liberation or Latin American / Indigenous liberation?

Hiiiii! If you have a minute, look up both Phyllopteryx taeniolatus and Phycodurus eques! (Not necesseraly for a critter drawing just for looking at pretty things, because either would be a nightmare to draw probably with the shapes and colours.)
But they look gorgeous none the less!
I've been made aware of them by @murkyquirky and they are gorgeous! *v*
!!!! I have so many minutes to look at those bad boys!!! I LOVE sea dragons SO much aaaaa. Sea horses get all the fame but their cousins are so superior imo. Like, legit literal sea fairies 🧚♀️🐉🌿 (also, you can't tell me what to do (/j) SO! DRAWINGS BE UPON YE!)
Phyllopteryx Taelionatus aka Common Seadragon or Weedy Seadragon (ha!) & Phycodurus Eques aka Leafy Seadragon (my personal favourites)
What's funny is that, unlike bugs which are super symmetrical and rigid, these bad boys are 1000x more fun and easier to draw.
Cus I can lowkey bullshit my way with leafy-like fluid shapes, splash on a little colour and badabing badaboom, you got yourself a Leafy Boy 🌱🐉
(if i scheduled this right and if tumblr cooperates, i should have a little extra something posted after this 👀)

Heyyy so out of Valeria, Laswell and Farrah, who do you think is the most to freak out over a bug, just kill it or take it outside? Silly ask but yk, thank ya!
Hey there! That is a pretty silly ask! I hope I was able to do it justice!
Valeria, Farah and Laswell Reacting to a Bug
Valeria: She definitely just kills the bug. She doesn’t have the time for something as stupid as some bug and doesn’t really care much for it either. If it was up to her, then all bugs would be dead whenever she comes near them. They’re small pests, doesn’t matter if they’re good for the environment or not. She’ll kill a wasp as much as she’ll kill a ladybug, she doesn’t see any difference in bugs. They’re all stupid, worthless and annoying and are better off dead.
Farah: She takes the bug outside. Farah can appreciate animals. While she may not be the biggest fan of bugs, she doesn’t hate them either. They’re such small creatures in such a big, hateful world. No, she won’t kill them. Although she won’t feel bad for squashing bugs either if she does so by accident. However, they’re usually deserving of life, as long as they aren’t being nuisances. But even then she’ll show them mercy and be nice to them. Besides, some of them look cool.
Laswell: I wouldn’t say she freaks out per se, but she does get uneasy around some bugs. She’s been around the world, she’s likely been stung by some wasps or bees and knows that they can be little shits if they feel threatened. Or if they just feel like it. Laswell will flinch a bit whenever a wasp comes near her, but, as I’ve said, she doesn’t really freak out too much. If she can kill the bug, that’s fine, but if it flies outside she won’t complain either. She’s probably killed a stink bug before and figured out the hard way why they’re called stink bugs.

What does Blade look like when he's trying to be romantic? Would he ever attempt it in the first place? I can't picture it but I'm so curious 🤣
I invite you to read this post from 3 years ago (!) about his methods of flirtation 😌 Blade's idea of romance and courtship is like silently splitting his sweetbun in half and sharing it with MC at communal breakfast mid-conversation, without either of them really acknowledging it; leaving books he think she'd like in random places where she'd have no way of knowing it was him, like some kind of weird helpful fae gremlin; and probably challenging her potential suitors to duels somewhere in the background without anyone ever realizing he was doing it

SHOW US THE CORPSE FLOWER
OKAY
here it is, the corpse flower (amorphophallus titanum)
(click for better-ish quality)
it looks kinda wilted here because these plants only bloom for ~24 hours before they wilt completely. it bloomed at midnight and since i cannot drive i had to wait until morning to go see it :/
this was more of a lab setting than a garden setting and they had cut a section of its flesh out so they could study and collect the fruit/seeds to send them to other places for cultivation (they’re endangered)
if you see inside you’ll see the fruit. when the flower wilts it leaves just the fruit for birds to eat (ignore this god-awful photo quality i was still getting used to this camera)
these shots are from the top-down. it looks cool from here because you can see the folds and texture that the plant has plant has. it was actually very warm to look from here because these plants warm up to help spread their corpse-scent. i think at it’s highest it was over 90-something degrees fahrenheit (32-ish degrees celsius). these pictures were hard to take because the plant was probably about 8ft tall excluding it’s elevated base. they had a stepladder but i’m short so i couldn’t get the best pics from the top.
and the smell! there’s a reason these are called corpse flowers. it actually wasn’t too bad in this area because it was so well-ventilated but the second you stepped out into the hall it smelled sooo bad. now, i haven’t smelled an actual rotting corpse before but this was probably a good substitute
it was fun to visit. apparently not a lot of people get excited to go see a giant flower that smells like a corpse and only blooms for 24hours every few years if it’s in the right cycle after meeting maturity (10ish years). i found a few people to go see it with, though. and i guess it did make it nice and mostly-empty to see it. i was there for a few hours trying to get the best pictures that i could because i thought it was cool :)

i’m just
there must be so many gaps in jieum’s memory
she was the girl of many trades but can she remember how she learnt any of those skills? No they were all from her past lives so they’re gone. Can she remember leaving her neglectful family to live with ae-gyeong? No because she was from a past life, so where does ji-eum think she grew up? She remembers being good at school and her awards but not if anybody was there in the audience for her. She says in her phone call to her superior that she remembers switching departments before, but she doesn’t remember working in the hotel. She cooks meals the exact way as ae-gyeong taught her and she taught ae-gyeong, but she doesn’t remember having learnt them. if she can’t remember anything to do with her past lives, she wouldn’t be able to remember anything that had happened in the past few months the drama is set over.
that must be such an odd and confusing existence, to only remember small dots and flashes of your life, and a giant gap in recent memory, and she doesn’t even seem to be affected by it either? Did she go to the hospital after coming to consciousness standing on a bridge with no idea how she got there? Did they run tests on her brain to see if something had gone wrong? Does she think she suffered a mental breakdown?
What is going on in ji-eum’s brain in those final scenes i want to dissect her thoughts like a grape
