a/n: im so worried this turned out a bit cringey. also guys please dont use makeup wipes irl they destroy your skin but i used them in this fic for the romantic moment🙏also sorry its so short!!

the key turned in the door with a click. you stumbled into the apartment, clutching onto lando. he helped you onto the bed, you were barely awake.

"okay let's get you cleaned up." he whispers. his voice was so smooth and it resonated in your core.

you groan, curling up on the bed, unable to respond. you're head is pounding and your body is exhausted. your joints are aching. you let your eyes slip shut, feeling the nicotine and alcohol still lazily flowing through your system.

your hair was a mess and your mascara smudged under your eyes. you were a wreck, but the night with lando was well worth it. and seeing him in that black button up was the cherry on top.

you heard his footsteps returning from the bathroom but the exhaustion keeps your eyes closed. you feel something cold running over your face, you flinch a little, opening your eyes.

"what are you doing?' you mumble, looking up at him. he's kneeling beside you, makeup wipe in hand.

he doesn't answer, just smiles abd shakes his head. he kisses your cheek and returns to the bathroom.

if you'd been sober, the sweet action would have made your heart throb, but sleep was clouding your mind.

he comes back to the bedroom, foot steps soft against the floor. he lays down next to you and you groggily roll over to face him.even in your semi-conscious state, his green eyes make you smile. "you wanna change clothes?" he asks

"mm mm" you shake your head, frowning. you just wanted to sleep.

"ok", he says, as his hand comes around you and he laces your fingers with his.

"hmmm" you hum, almost giggling.

"what is it," he says.

"you're hands are big", you murmur

"i guess so", lando laughs, you didnt see him blush in the darkness.

you trace the veins of his hand, his fingers, up his arm. you touch his rings. admiring.

"and sexy too" you say softly, slurring your words a little.

he swallows, he knew you wouldn't remember this in the morning.

"i like when you wear those rings," you continue, he doesn't know how to respond.

"your arms are sexy too." you voice was so sleepy, so innocent. you shift, pressing your face into the pillow.

"goodnight," you sigh, letting go of his hand.

"goodnight y/n." lando whispers, pressing a warm kiss to the top of your head. butterflies fluttered in his stomach, he can't help but smile.

as lando has predicted, you didnt remember what you'd said in the morning. regardless, he made it a point to wear his rings every day, and to roll up his sleeves, just to see your little blush and lingering gaze.

“You know,” You grinned as you stirred the ingredients in the bowl, “I bet she’s going to say mama first.”

Lando scoffed as he rolled his eyes playfully while he fed your daughter, “Of course not! Sloane’s a daddy’s girl, aren’t you, honey?”

Sloane babbled as she clapped her hands together, looking at you while you made Christmas cookies for the family.

“Told you so,” You poked your tongue out at him, placing the batter on the baking sheet before walking over to your little girl, “You’re mommy’s girl, aren’t you?”

Smiling as you wiped your hands on your apron, you reached down to carry your daughter in your arms, “My love’s so pretty.”

Lando smiled as he wrapped his arms around the two of you, kissing your cheek, “And you my love are, as well.”

“Look, daddy’s getting cheesy,” You gasped, looking at Sloane as she giggled, “Anything special as to why you’re extra sweet?”

“Just want to shower my lovely wife with affection,” He replied, caressing your hair and kissing your temple, “And be- oh my god, it’s snowing!”

You looked out the kitchen window, in awe of the snowflakes that started falling and covering the ground, “Baby, did you hear what daddy said? It’s snowing!”

“Wait, let me get her jumper!” Lando called out as he ran upstairs to Sloane’s room, “It’s her first snowfall!”

Laughing at your husband’s antics, you bounced your daughter on your hip as you walked over to the coat rack to grab your coats.

“Sloane, honey, it’s your first snowfall!” You smiled as you gently placed her on the chair, tickling her stomach, “You excited, hm?”

Lando hurriedly ran down the stairs and kneeled down in front of Sloane to dress her up in a bright orange jumper, “A certified papaya girl.”

“Love…” You snickered as you covered your mouth, “She looks like an orange.”

“Then she’s my little orange slash papaya,” He smiled as he carried her in his arms, kissing her cheek, “My girl’s first snowfall.”

As Lando carried Sloane, you put on your coats and gloves, helping him put his after yours. You grabbed your phone, walking out to the garden with your husband and daughter.

Sloane giggled and clapped her hands as she saw the snowflakes fall around her, covering her jumper, and even touching her little cheeks.

“I’m glad that you’re home with us,” You leaned your head on his shoulder, “It wouldn’t be as special without you here.”

“You know that I’ll drop media things to be with my girls,” He replied, bouncing Sloane on his hip, “Plus, I’ll miss the little papaya girl when I’m gone.”

Sloane babbled as she placed her little hands on Lando’s face, squishing it with all her power.

You laughed as you took your phone out and took a few pictures of her, “My pretty little angel…and some man.”

“Hey, I’m not some man,” Lando huffed as he fixed the beanie on her head, “I’m your man.”

“Whatever you say, Mr. Norris,” You teased, sitting down on the ground and reached out for Sloane, “C’mon, baby, let’s make your first snow angels.”

Lando handed her over to you, smiling as he watched you help your daughter make her first snow angels. He never imagined that he’d be at this point, experiencing his daughter’s firsts with the most special woman in his life. But of course, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Light coughs escaped your lips as you slowly rose from your sleep, feeling much worse than you had the night before. Gently, you tried to climb out of the bed, the only thing holding you back being a large arm wrapped around your waist.

A groan escaped your lips as a sudden pain in your abdomen and you felt a shuffle at your side.

“You alright, love?” He questioned as you looked over to him, immediately being met with a face of concern. You shook your head, causing your boyfriend to immediately rise from his place, even more concern prominent on his features.

“I’ll be back in one second, hold on.” Lando announced before sprinting out the room, his hair a mess.

He quickly returned, a glass of water in hand whilst painkillers were held in the other. You slowly sat up, resting your back against the backboard of your bed as he pushed some strands of hair off your face before handing you some pills.

“Thank you Lan.” You whisper as he smiles at you, his thumb gently rubbing against your cheek whilst he looked into your eyes.

“Don’t worry about it baby.” He replied, the smile continuing to tug at his features.

You placed the pills in your mouth before quickly consuming them and letting yourself fall back into your original position, with the guidance of Lando’s hand on your back. As he turned to walk away, most likely to wash the glass, your sudden grip on his hand caused him to come to a halt, instantly turning back to face you.

“You okay?” He questioned once again, bending down to be level with you. You held your hands out in a manner to show your expectations of receiving a hug, causing him to let out a laugh before climbing back into your bed, arms instantly wrapping around your figure as you slowly began to doze off, content with how little is set out for the two of you to achieve today.

When Lando feels the consciousness seep through his body, he blinked a few times to realize the sun was shining brightly through the blinds on your window. Chuckling softly to himself, he looked down to see your sleeping figure that was snoring lightly. He leaned down to place a soft kiss on your forehead, which caused you to stir and stretch your legs out before looking up at him with a sleepy smile.

“Good morning, darling,” Lando smiled, rubbing your back gently, “You want to get breakfast?”

Shaking your head, you snuggled closer to your boyfriend and draped your leg over his hip, “It’s too early.”

“I doubt it is,” He mumbled, grabbing his phone to check the time and turned it back off, “It’s quarter to eight. You sure you’re not hungry?”

Before you could disagree, your grumbling stomach gave you away, which elicited a hearty laugh from Lando and you smiled sheepishly up at him, “On second thought, maybe I am.”

Lando sat up on the bed and patted your head gently before exiting the room to prepare breakfast in the kitchen, “Just follow when you’re ready getting up.”

As you laid in bed for a few more minutes, you yawned and rubbed your eyes before getting up and dragging your feet to the kitchen to inhale the smell of pancakes being cooked.

“You want some coffee, love?” You mumble, hugging him from behind and looking up at him, “Latte or cappuccino?”

Lando kissed the top of your head before flipping the pancakes and waiting for it to cook, “A latte would be lovely.”

Responding with a hum, you pulled away to make coffee for the two of you while Lando set the pancakes on a plate, “You wanna do anything today?”

“I don’t know actually,” You shrugged, setting the mug down on the kitchen island and grabbing the place mats and utensils, “I was thinking that we could just stay at home?”

Lando grinned, turning to look at you as he set the plate full of pancakes on the table, “Our minds amazing as always.”

“Plus, I think our apartment needs general cleaning,” You trailed off, grabbing a pitcher of water and sitting down on the chair, “Don’t think you’re going to lounge around.”

“Oh, c’mon,” He pouted, taking the seat across you and grabbing pancakes with the fork and knife to set some on your plate, “I wanted to watch films with you!”

“Tsk, I sense a liar when I hear one,” You clicked your tongue and placed some maple syrup over his pancakes and yours, “You don’t even like the films I like!”

“They’re too serious and dark,” Lando defended as he sliced his pancakes and took a bite, “Way too long, too!”

“Excuse me, it’s cinema at its finest,” You argued, mirroring his actions, “You have to be an individual of taste to appreciate it.”

Lando rolled his eyes and pointed the fork towards you as he chewed the pancakes in his mouth, eliciting a snicker from you, “I am a man of taste. I’m dating you.”

“Oh please, Mr. Norris,” You laughed and threw your head back, “Stop with the flatteries.”

“Takes one to know one,” He grinned, taking a sip of his coffee before leaning over the table to wipe the maple syrup from the corner of your mouth, “Such a messy eater.”

Smiling softly, you leaned back on your chair with your cup of coffee in your hands, “Second floor yours, first floor mine?”

“Under one condition though,” Lando looked at you, a teasing glint in his eyes, “I’m not tending the garden.”

“Not tending the garden, you say,” You raised an eyebrow, setting down the mug on the table and crossing your arms, “You wanna sleep on the couch?”

“It’s a lot of work,” He whined, a frown etched on his face, “I don’t wanna do it by myself.”

“Sometimes I wonder how much of an idiot you are,” You nonchalantly stated, whacking the backside of his head with your free hand as you brought the dishes to the sink, “You’re helping me!”

Lando laughed as he stood up to follow you and hug your side while you washed the dishes, “I’m kidding, of course I will!”

“You’re just saying that so you don’t sleep on the couch,” You smiled teasingly, splashing water on him, “Stop being a koala.”

“I’m your favorite koala anyways,” He grinned, hugging you tighter and kissing your temple, “I love you.”

You turned to look at him with a small smile, referencing a film franchise that you two loved the most, “I know.”
