As everyone was distracted, HiMERU took this opportunity to get some much needed fresh air. The sounds of music were clear in that small hideaway for only a brief moment as he snuck out of the door. This was her favorite time for a winter's walk—at the end of the storm, when a few lingering flurries fluttered softly in the breeze, the still untouched snow rivaling the diamonds dotting the nearly cleared sky—a beautiful display of winter's special magic. Their footprints left an ephemeral memory of their time together as they walked through the quiet park.

Do you think a part of found it difficult to trust Jordan's devotion to her because he is kind of known for being impulsive or do you maybe think she wondered whether he was really over Simone given how serious their relationship was at some point? Do you think she also had fears that the vortex would judge her for dating Spencer and Asher? Why do you think she was so cautious of Olivia finding out, what do you think she thought Olivia's reaction would be?

I think that she had found something very, very special with Jordan and didn't want anything to upset the equilibrium of what they shared.

I don't think she doubted Jordan's devotion to her or was afraid of feelings for Simone. They seemed to clear all that up in 4x19/4x20. I think she was worried about Vortex judgment, but it was more than that. It was an almost unfounded fear that one word from someone in the Vortex could tear them apart or come between them.

I think she hoped Olivia would've been okay with it. But this wasn't just, you know, OIivia's brother and best friend deciding to date each other. It wasn't just a dynamic shifting among the three of them that was never addressed til now. This was love. And somehow, Layla had come to rely on Jordan even more than Liv. And if Liv had hinted that she wasn't okay with them being together, she was afraid her disapproval might've soured their relationship.
