Fic rec for my BFF, pt. 1
My best friend is currently watching 9-1-1. I've been trying to get her onboard the Buddie ship and she is graciously tolerating me. She's asked for some fic recs and so this is what I came up with! I did have to work with a few parameters to fit her taste, the most important one being nothing post season 3 cause that's where she's up to and she didn't want spoilers.
Hope you enjoy these bestie!
Canon to Canon Divergent
Things We're All Too Young to Know by Daisies_and_Briar / @cal-daisies-and-briars
Canon S1-S6, S7 Spec | 123/? | 379K | Mature
This is a love story. Even if it doesn’t always look like it. Even if it doesn’t always feel like it. A look back on Eddie and Buck's lives up to now, and what led them to each other, interpreted from the current 9-1-1 canon.
THE canon fics to end all canon fics. I know it's still a WIP and it spans up to post-S6, but if you want a canon fic, that's the one to go for.
Leading with the Left by letmetellyouaboutmyfeels/ @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
Canon Divergent, Different First Meeting, Stripper Buck | 84K | Explicit
When Buck said he was a "bartender" in "South America" what he actually meant was "stripper" in "Mexico." And when Eddie said, "What's your problem?" what he actually meant was, "Is this about the time you gave me a lap dance?" In other words, there's a few things the 118 doesn't know about Buck. Or Eddie. Or Buck and Eddie's relationship.
One of my most re-read fics. The smut is impeccable. The angst is so good. Absolutely love this fic!
Your Scars and Your Lonely Heart by Taste_is_Sweet
Sentinels AU, Canon Divergent - Tsunami | 82K | Teen
Clara Williams just wanted to visit Pacific Park during her layover in Los Angeles. She never expected to find a young, exceptional Sentinel dying for lack of a bond. Actually, what she really never expected was a tsunami, or the same Sentinel to save her life. But Clara's a Guide, so now she's on a mission to keep Evan "Buck" Buckley alive until she can get him to Eddie Diaz, the Guide who should have bonded with him, but didn't. Because Clara can't bond with Buck, no matter how much she wants to. There's just one problem: Buck's convinced Eddie doesn't want him, and he might not survive long enough to find out the truth.
Another one of my most re-read fics! I had never read a Sentinels AU before and I fell in love with the concept!
the distance to the stars by cloudydaisies
Didn't Know They Were Dating, Post-S3 | 27K | General
“Didn’t know you were seeing someone.” Buck just laughs. Like, honest to god giggles. Eddie is stuck fighting off doubly massive waves of butterflies and confusion, all while Buck just gazes down at him. “That’s cute,” he hears Buck mumble, just before climbing into the truck, calling Eddie after him. - or, everyone knows eddie is dating buck except for eddie, literally.
Don't know if you knew this, Marie, but Buddie is the #1 most tagged ship in the "Didn't Know They Were Dating" tag cause they're such idiots <3 and this is one of my favorite ones!
the weekly bet (but the forever kind) by theleftboobgrabber/ @theleftboobgrabber
Late S3, Getting Together | 49K | Explicit
“Thanks,” Eddie mumbles, hiding his face deep in his pillow, even if Buck can’t see him in the dark. “What for?” Leave it to Buck to be confused about something so obvious. “Being you, idiot.” “And again with the name calling,” he answers, content and sleepy. Nights like this, Eddie feels like asking for a miracle. But to the team, it wasn’t a matter of if Abby would take him back, but when. A matter of days. When the squad bets on how long it will take for Buck and Abby to get back together when she comes back to LA, Eddie is forced to reconsider keeping his feelings for Buck a secret.
Top tier pining + oblivious Eddie = 👌
Always, All Ways by ashavahishta/ @tevankinkley
A/B/O AU | 85K | Explicit
“Buck is very dear, Mr Diaz. Not only to me but to the pack. You’ll find that if you treat him with anything less than utmost respect you’ll have a lot of people to answer to.”   Eddie swallowed. It was clear that in the absence of a mate, this omega had found himself a very protective pack. “Understood, sir.” Or: Buck’s the only omega in the 118. He’s got secrets, and walls a mile high. Eddie’s the alpha determined to knock them down.
There's not a ton of A/B/O fics in this fandom, and I should really try to read more of them, but this is probably my favorite one so far!
I Hit the Accelerator (But the Car was in Reverse) by extasiswings/@extasiswings, letmetellyouaboutmyfeels/@letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
S3, Friends With Benefits, BDSM | 68K | Explicit
When Buck is forced to confront the truth about his breakup with Abby, having casual sex with his hot new coworker seems like the best rebound idea. Unfortunately, that hot new coworker turns into his best friend. But best friends can keep having sex with each other, right? There's no way this could possibly go wrong.
THE friends with benefits fic! (ok lbr there's a ton of great ones, but this one is S2 focused iirc)
AUs
My Blood on Your Skin (My Rose on Your Snow) by letmetellyouaboutmyfeels/ @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
Mythological AU, BDSM | 80K | Explicit
When Eddie needs cash and fast to take care of Christopher, his LAFD Academy buddy suggests a job as a bouncer at Elysium - an exclusive sex club in downtown Los Angeles. Eddie doesn't care what goes on there, so long as he's paid, but he finds he cares a lot bout the club's enigmatic owner, Evan Buckley, and it's not long before the two of them are violating every boss-employee rule in the book. But there's something different about Buck and the club, something not quite... human. If Eddie wants to keep Buck, he's going to have to delve into the world of immortals, and all the risks that implies.
You can expect amazing smut by this author as always, but also really interesting worldbuilding and characters!
All My Shattered Oaths by letmetellyouaboutmyfeels/ @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
Vampires AU | 107K | Explicit
Eddie wants to stay away from his family’s legacy and give his son a normal life. Buck’s desperate to find a way to get over the love he lost. Fate has other plans for both of them.
SO GOOD. The canon divergent reincarnation vampire AU you didn't know you needed!!!
a bleeding sun on a silver screen by rarakiplin (gmontys)/ @hoediaz
Actors AU, Friends With Benefits | 130K | Mature
One day, Buck will tell an interviewer that he would be happy to make movies with Eddie Diaz until the day he dies. But first, years before that, he sees Eddie for the first time on the set of Chimney’s fifth movie.
An epic tale of movie making and enemies to friends to FWB to strangers to lovers!
The Truth of Love (Amas Veritas) by allyasavedtheday/ @littlespoonevan
Practical Magic AU | 20K | Teen
Bobby opens his mouth like he wants to argue but decides against it. “Walk me through the logic here then. How will this make sure you never fall in love?” “Because I’m making someone who doesn’t exist,” Buck explains, glancing from the half-full bowl to Bobby. He can’t work out what the look on Bobby’s face means so he pointedly elects to ignore it. “They’ll have brown hair,” he starts, clipping another petal from the rose bush. “And brown eyes-“ “Lotta people out there with brown hair and brown eyes, kid,” Bobby says lightly and Buck rolls his eyes. “But not many that can ride a horse backwards,” Buck counters. “And whose favourite shape is a star and who’s got…two scars,” he decides, plucking a basil leaf and dropping it in the bowl. “One on each shoulder.”
Because Practical Magic AUs always make me think of you <3
I'll Scrawl it on Every Wall I See by letmetellyouaboutmyfeels/ @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
Canon Divergent, You've Got Mail Fusion | 29K | Teen
When Eddie joins the 118, he and Buck don't exactly hit it off on the right foot. Or continue to walk on the right foot. In fact they kind of can't stand each other. Good thing they each have a beloved anonymous pen pal to share their daily woes with, someone completely unlike their insufferable coworker.
I do love some good romcom vibes!

Wild Kratts - Our Blue and Green World: Part 1: Review [Spoilers]
Welp, here it is, the Wild Kratts TV movie (not to be confused with the feature film they've been teasing us with since 2021). There's been a lot of hype around this special and season, especially with how much the latter was being hyped up during the hiatus. Let's see if the blue and green bros were able to deliver: Spoilers under the cut
Tumblr media
Well, this is certainly an attention grabber!
Tumblr media
This entire live action intro is shot and edited like an animated Wild Kratts episode, it's glorious.
Tumblr media
Woah, intro change!
Tumblr media
They said the thing! They said the thing!
Tumblr media
HELP THIS IS SO RELATABLE. Also, THE BOYS ARE FIGHTING
Tumblr media
Lmao I don't think they do it very often, but using animals/nature in their insults is very creative.
Also, whooping crane episode when?
youtube
This entire song is mercifully short. Like most character sung songs in Wild Kratts, it's not good, but this at least is clever in its lyrics and its visuals. It feels like a Disney reference at best and I am content with that. I also ADORED seeing the Draco and Walrus Suit return again. It's arguably the best musical number in the series. No, that is not saying a lot.
Tumblr media
MARTIN WHY ARE YOU THE ONE WHO'S MIFFED YOU NEARLY MUFASA'D YOUR LITTLE BROTHER
CHRIS WHY ARE YOU MILDLY INCONVENIENCED YOU GOT ACRAPHOBIA FALLING FROM THAT HEIGHT
Tumblr media
When I first saw the clip, I thought that they were going somewhere with this, like they'd activate Peacock Powers at the end when they recognized the compatibility and blue and green. But nope. Wasted potential is an understatement.
Also, where the fuck are they right now? In a previous shot there was Target the Chameleon, implying that they've been to Madagascar, but that is an Indian peafowl, and as far as I'm concerned, they don't live in Madagascar. Were they just having an off-day? These animals have little to nothing to do with the plot when they really shouldn't have, so I don't see why they couldn't have just shown a projector image or something.
Tumblr media
Remember when I joked about the Wild Pony Power Suit returning in S7.... fuck you Apollo.
Tumblr media
Man, they are eating it up with the animation here. It's hard to tell with screengrabs but man, is it fluid.
Tumblr media
The first half of this episode is mixed. While it feels like the brothers are incredibly stubborn, it also does make sense for them to be this fixated on their favorites. So I can totally buy this. It could've been insufferable to watch, but it wasn't.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As if YOU haven't spied on them since the first time your dorito-headed ass showed up on screen
Tumblr media
Did you find that funny? Because not only do they do a similar joke like that later on, but they follow through on that joke in the most unexpected way you will shit your pants when you first ingest it.
Tumblr media
Oh my god if they make a Creature Power Suit off of that bird, I will take back any diss I've made, that is so beautiful.
Tumblr media
Good to know that Aviva put the button near the chest and not near the back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Maybe it's just me but this is kinda pushing it. Chris is literally getting his organs crushed, I think that should matter more than A) being right or B) trying to get 2 people to stop fighting.
Tumblr media
I'm loving the callback and what this leads up to but ew, all this does is remind me about how ugly bright the color pallatte in S6. Really glad they fixed it in S7.
Tumblr media
HELL FUCKING YES
Tumblr media
This episode finds really unique ways of showing how the two different biomes are interconnected. It's like Rainforest Stew's (very brilliantly handled) message only to a larger degree. Kids can learn a lot from this.
Tumblr media
I fucking love this episode, man.
Tumblr media
Honestly, the way they write Paisley in the first half of the episode is very in-line with her character. Most shows that do what this episode does has them be out-of-character as a set-up, but here, she's just roasting the fuck out of Zach. Once again, recontextualized entirely in the climax.
Tumblr media
HOW THE FUCK DID HE GET TO MADAGASCAR FROM THE GODDAMN AMAZON IN ONE AFTERNOON THAT IS LIKE MORE THAN 1,000 MILES AWAY?? ARE ANACONDAS THAT FAST?????
Also, INDRIS!!!!! :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was frankly expecting this to horribly backfire but spoilers, it doesn't. This actually winds up working. Common Aviva W.
Tumblr media
To be continued.... will the blue and green rivalry end? Will one prove superior over another? And will they be able to stop Zach and Paisley and save the planet earth? And will this change the adventures of the Wild Kratts team forever? Stay tuned for part 2!
Pros:
The live action segments.
The animation of the earth's model.
The musical number not being ass.
Paisely's catty behavior.
The Anaconda Suit.
The inventive ways they show how the stability of the Earth is complex. There are a lot of ways it functions and thus a lot of ways it needs to survive
The comedy.
Cons:
The villains do not do anything until the second half of this episode. In fact, they're left completely in the backdrop. I expected them to make their prescence known and for Aviva to invent the discs to get them together for the SAKE of fighting the villains. But no. It makes the stakes feel hollow, which is the opposite of what they should be gunning for in an hour long special that they hype the shit out of.
CONCLUSION:
It was an "okay" set-up. It did live up to some of the hype it had, but not all of it. Honestly if it wasn't for the second half of this episode, this movie would be mediocre or slightly above average, but no. They do pick themselves off the ground and... they do jump the shark. But we'll get to that next time

I'm much calmer now that I've got all the grievances out of my system with my rant in the previous post.
So I'm on S7 Ep2 right now but I somehow missed S5 Ep17 and 18 so I went back and watched it.
In season 5 ep 17, Eddie mad at his father for his absence from his childhood and him having had to step up and literally being told by his father to be the man of the house, arguing and lecturing his father for his absence, how a family needs more than just providing money for, how a family deserves a present father, how a son, meaning himself deserved a present father and this is all very true, Eddie is absolutely correct in his argument and has every right to be mad at his father for not being around. But I literally had to pause and laugh cause he's just one step away to being self-aware but no. Even after that when he sits down with his father, he actually says that he was acting like his father but referring only to the passed down habit of not wanting to seem weak so hiding their ailment thing, Eddie says that he doesn't want to be like that anymore as they reconcile, and I'm happy for him in that moment as it is a well delayed conversation, and a well earned decision, Eddie should have had his father too but every hope I had that he will realise he had been imitating his father on more than on way were dashed and we go back to square one, Eddie's self-awareness stops just short of reaching anything related to his behavior with Shannon. And I have another bone to pick with the writers on this one, why is it always the woman's duty to stay and care for her child and household, same thing happened with both Eddie's mom with his father being away and with Shannon with Eddie being away, the first time he enlisted, he might have been doing it from his heart for wanting to serve his country, wanting to provide for his family etc etc but when he reenlisted, he did it entirely for himself as an escape, and when Shannon got rightfully mad at him for it he somehow found a way to yell at her and guilt her and I will never forget the look he had on his face even Shannon told him to console a crying Christopher, he looked so offended, like it was someone else's baby she was shoving into his arms, he looked so mad that she asked him to do that instead of doing it herself as if it was her duty alone, while they were literally arguing that he was a literal stranger to his own son, I get it he was overwhelmed, scared, inexperienced, confused and possibly in pain from the diagnosis but wasn't Shannon? Why was it okay to not only expect her but for him to demand that she only take care of THEIR child but when she asked him to, he was apalled? Did she have the baby with the wall? why is it that the men always get excused when they leave for whichever reason, there are legions of fans eager to justify the reasons behind these actions but when a woman needs a break, no not even a break, needs help, no, needs her husband, who is her life partner to pull his own weight in the relationship when he doesn't want to, other than just providing money, why is that so scandalous? Why is she looked at as is she's committing a murder?

the being isolated at the end of s7/s8 being a refresh button for eddie feels very odd and contradictory to me imo. how can s8 be a refresh button if eddie has to work on getting close to his family again after being isolated, even if it's by his own doing, because then he'll still have to be working through all these issues? i can't quite wrap my head around it 😅 but i wouldn't be surprised if ryan was being purposefully misleading for the sake of suspense
Yeah, that’s confusing me too. The way he talked about the refresh button and letting go of the past doesn’t make it sound like a bad thing, so I doubt he’s going to quit the 118 and run off with Kim or something.
He said Eddie would be feeling isolated, so I’m assuming he won’t literally be isolated from everyone else, unless some truly batshit insane stuff happens in the next few episodes. And didn’t he also say something about abuela having a secret at some point? Maybe it’s related to his family too? Some deep dark Diaz secret?
I guess if Eddie’s finally getting over Shannon and accepting that he’s really truly single—probably for the first time in his life with how he’s been entombed in grief—while literally everyone else in his life is happily paired off, that could feel pretty isolating. Like, watch them give Chris his first real girlfriend too, just to rub in how truly alone Eddie feels.
I’m not betting on any sexuality crises kicking off this season, but if that does happen and he doesn’t handle it well, that would be pretty isolating. Like all of the queer people in his life are so happy being who they are, and Buck found it so freeing and wonderful, so why does he hate this? He can’t go tell the people he loves that he hates himself for being like them, so who the hell would he talk to? Bring that Catholic guilt back!
Or I’ve seen the theory that he realizes he’s in love with Buck but can’t say anything because Buck’s happy with Tommy and he can’t tell anyone else, but that would be a pretty quick turnaround from all this Shannon stuff.
I don’t know! Maybe all the s8 stuff is more Tim sharing partial ideas he has when they haven’t actively started working on it, and it’ll end up being something completely different! This season has been such a wild ride and so different from previous seasons that it’s pretty hard to predict what might come next.

(This analysis is from s7 up till episode 4 cs that’s how far I’ve watched rn)
I love Trevor with all my heart, he’s so silly and he’s literally amazing. Him and Ian together would’ve been great, but it wouldn’t have made sense.
Trevor is a common day homo, he’s trans and he thought Ian was non-binary when they first started flirting. He’s a do gooder gay who works with homeless kids and goes out to gay clubs in his spare time. All his friends are queer and they introduce themselves by their labels and pronouns.
Ian is the opposite.
When he was dating Caleb he made his top priority the fact that Caleb was bisexual instead of the fact that he cheated on Ian. When he met Trevor later on and found out he was trans, his whole mindset was that Trevor was a chick. Yes it was because he was misguided, and he learned more about trans people and about Trevor later on. He was confused yk?
But Ian is also a vag-repulsed gay. When Caleb cheats on Ian with a woman, Ian decides he wants to sleep with a woman to see what it’s like even though he has zero attraction to them in general. He gets disgusted, goes home, and freaks out. Ian treats it like the worst thing ever and describes how much vag repulses him.
The ship is cute, but they were bound to fail either way :(
plus gallavich forever. they’re way more compatible than anyone either of them tried to date throughout the show.

✨TBB Finale Countdown Day 4✨
So stoked for the finale episodes on Wednesday I can't wait so to harness my excited/anxious energy I'm posting and answer a TBB/Star Wars related question each day - would love if other people joined in/interacted!!! (positive interactions only! no bashing, only loving!)
Day 4: How were you introduced to TBB??
I had like a two-part introduction to TBB because the The Clone Wars S7E1 arc was the first time I'd watched TCW, and I was at my brother's place hanging out SO confused about this show I was watching. So didn't think much of it.
Cut to a month later when I finished binging all of TCW (surprise surprise, I was HOOKED) and got to S7 again. Then those 4 walked off the ship and I was SMACKED with deja vu because that was the scene that played at my brother's place and it all came back to me. It literally took just Hunter finishing their introductions for me to go "ah yes, my newest collection of brain healers. I'm gonna keep these ones"
Play along, reblog/reply with your answer 😊❤️

OK so, I've been following you for a bit and obviously I have seen the 911 canon bi dude flailing and I am interested, because I like procedurals and also canon bi guys (and canon bi girls obvs). HOWEVER I feel kinda bad because I cannot tell the different buff, brown haired, white dudes apart in the gifs and I want to know if they are more easily distinguishable in the show (distinct voices and/or mannerisms) or if you just get used to it? (love the enthusiasm btw, it's great to see on my dash, i love people genuinely loving things)
… oh my god, okay, so, fun (and actually unrelated) fact — my mom started watching the show before i did, so i saw bits and pieces of a few episodes before i committed to Watching, and i distinctly remember asking her how she could tell buck and eddie apart because i wasn’t sure who was who.
(… it was an episode where the characters were wearing those yellow hazmat suits at the beginning, which Did Not Help)
anyway she started listing off all the differences, and pointed out “first of all, eddie isn’t even white, he’s half mexican” which is SUPER HELPFUL when characters are wearing yellow hazmat suits, let me tell you.
BUT. ANYWAY. i sympathize with going “wait but which one is which, i am Confused”, even if it’s with a different character than i had the issue with.
i will say, they are absolutely more easily distinguishable in the show — it’s hard to tell from the gifsets i’ve been reblogging, but i (personally) would put buck as closer to blond? or like. somewhere between that and actual brown hair. (like, his stubble grows in super fair when we see it. thing.) whereas tommy has super-dark hair/stubble/etc. and they’re very distinct characters from each other, in ways i can’t quite articulate because i’ve been up for an hour already by accident.
(ALSO, as i was reminded, buck has a birthmark above his left eye/eyebrow, and i’m not sure how clear it is in any of the million gifsets i’ve reblogged. i swear i remember mentioning that but apparently i was wrong)
but also, crucially, there is the time element to consider — buck is a main character from the very first episode, he’s in almost every episode of the show, and up until s7 we know tommy from a) three flashback episodes in the second season, showing us what the 118 used to be (starting in 2005, ending in … i wanna say 2017?); he transferred to a different firehouse before the show started, and b) a phone call chimney makes in one episode where he’s calling in a favor, which we only see chim’s side of.
which is to say: i think part of it might genuinely just be “you get used to it”? because by the time tommy shows up and has any time in the same scene as buck, you’ve known buck for six full seasons and the first few episodes of a seventh.
ALSO, oh man, if you like procedurals you will almost definitely love this show. i looooove procedurals, and this is such a good one. it also! in fact! has canon queer rep from the beginning!!! hen is a married black lesbian raising a kid with her wife (who is equally awesome, and also a literal rocket scientist).

What are your thoughts on pol!jon? I’m no fan of j/d but pol!jon feels so out of character and cruel that I really can’t see it
Oof okay that’s an interesting question.
I think there's a lot of elements to the political!jon theory that people tend to just conflate into one big theory similar to how the grand northern conspiracy has some parts that are a little galaxy brained and some stuff that makes perfect sense and has a lot of grounding in the text.
So for anyone who is unaware - I know a lot of my oomfs didn't get into the series until after the show stopped airing - the pol!jon theory came from s7 of the show to explain the absolutely inconsistent and stupid decisions jon makes in s7 and s8. The idea was that, basically, like Torrhen Stark before him, Jon Snow bent the knee to Daenerys at Dragonstone not because he actually wants the North to be tied to the Iron Throne again or because he's loyal to Daenerys but rather because he is attempting to manipulate her; when he realizes that she will not come North to save his people but did cross the Wall to save him he makes the decision to seduce her in order to bring her to the North to defend his people.
Now...a lot of people really dislike this theory. They feel it's too cruel of Jon to do, it's OOC, I've even seen some people say that any sex between them is noncon (which...aight), etc etc. I do understand to a certain point why people think it's out of character for Jon to do this but the thing is...he literally has already done something very similar in canon. Look at his relationship with Ygritte:
Two hearts that beat as one. Mance Rayder’s mocking words rang bitter in his head. Jon had seldom felt so confused. I have no choice, he’d told himself the first time, when she slipped beneath his sleeping skins. If I refuse her, she will know me for a turncloak. I am playing the part the Halfhand told me to play. His body had played the part eagerly enough. His lips on hers, his hand sliding under her doeskin shirt to find a breast, his manhood stiffening when she rubbed her mound against it through their clothes. My vows, he’d thought, remembering the weirwood grove where he had said them, the nine great white trees in a circle, the carved red faces watching, listening. But her fingers were undoing his laces and her tongue was in his mouth and her hand slipped inside his smallclothes and brought him out, and he could not see the weirwoods anymore, only her. She bit his neck and he nuzzled hers, burying his nose in her thick red hair. Lucky, he thought, she is lucky, fire-kissed. “Isn’t that good?” she whispered as she guided him inside her. She was sopping wet down there, and no maiden, that was plain, but Jon did not care. His vows, her maidenhood, none of it mattered, only the heat of her, the mouth on his, the finger that pinched at his nipple. “Isn’t that sweet?” she said again. “Not so fast, oh, slow, yes, like that. There now, there now, yes, sweet, sweet. You know nothing, Jon Snow, but I can show you. Harder now. Yessss.” A part, he tried to remind himself afterward. I am playing a part. I had to do it once, to prove I’d abandoned my vows. I had to make her trust me. It need never happen again. He was still a man of the Night’s Watch, and a son of Eddard Stark. He had done what needed to be done, proved what needed to be proven.
Now, I don't think this is rape on either side but it's certainly uncomfortable, dubious consent wise, and not meant to be just a straight romantic scene. Ygritte isn't aware - though she does suspect - that Jon hasn't truly joined their side. Ygritte feels he's holding onto his vows out of stubborn pride or perhaps ignorance; she does not suspect he's actually going to betray them, but she can tell he's clearly conflicted over his desertion. Jon, meanwhile, is only having sex with Ygritte to prove he's a true deserter; he is actively manipulating her by playing on her fondness for him and invoking Wildlings customs like bride stealing when they have sex here.
So the idea that political!Jon is out of character doesn't really work because while Jon is clearly guilt ridden over it, he can and has used sex and romance as a manipulation tactic before. As for it being too cruel, well, let's ask Gilly about Jon's capacity for cruelty then hmm?
“You will make a crow of him.” She wiped at her tears with the back of a small pale hand. “I won’t. I won’t.” Kill the boy, thought Jon. “You will. Else I promise you, the day that they burn Dalla’s boy, yours will die as well.”
Jon is quite capable of cruelty when he wants to be just as surely as he's capable of manipulation. This doesn't mean he doesn't feel guilt or that he doesn't care for the people he manipulates. On the contrary, I think part of why Ygritte continuously echoes in Jon's mind as a sort of mentor figure is because of the guilt he feels for leading Ygritte straight to her death. When Ygritte briefly opens up to him about a past abusive relationship, he doesn't dismiss her at all, and seems to make an effort to otherwise be kind, affectionate, and loving to her. He's just also planning on betraying her because he feels the Wildlings as they are currently organized are too dangerous to just be set free on the unsuspecting North (and he's not wrong - his alliance forces the Wildlings to put down their arms, yes, but it also empowers the Wildlings to come to the negotiation table as equals, as people of Westeros rather than as nameless, faceless barbarians).
So no, I don't really think it's OOC for Jon to realize that the enemy he is facing is too dangerous to deal with as is but if he maneuvers them in such a way that they have to listen to him and negotiate as equals, he can keep his own people safe while in a prime position to deal with the threat if it gets out of control. He is also capable of ruthlessness - the entire battle at the ending of ASOS, killing Qhorin, the baby swap, killing Janos Slynt, etc - and cruelty and sexual manipulation.
I also think - and basically everyone agrees, it's not just me - that their "romance" is written incredibly badly and weirdly. So much so that I think it made sense that people would wonder if Jon has an ulterior motive. I reblogged this gifset to my personal a few years ago and you can really see Jon is just over everything that's happening on Dragonstone, he's incredibly unimpressed with Dany, he refuses to even indulge in her fantasies the way he does with Ygritte (like when Ygritte makes that "oh let's disappear into the caves" comment, Jon is wistful! He brings it up as she's dying to comfort both of them! He doesn't like what he's been doing even though he feels it's necessary!), and I know Kit has never been particularly gifted at emoting but he looks just straight up miserable the entire time he's with Dany.
So...even back in s7, I didn't think Jon was actively plotting to murder Dany but I did think he was manipulating her to get the end goal he wanted (protection for the North) and that there was a high chance he was going to turn on her later when the time was right. It wasn't like he was thinking "alright so once the Long Night is ended, here's my twelve step plan to get Dany off the throne and murder her" but I do think he felt like well, once the Long Night is dealt with, there's still a lot of other problems we have to deal with and who knows what might happen as those problems arise. I never thought he was interested in her long term. Some people seemed to think that was beyond the pale but like, that's literally how he felt about Ygritte - he never considered this a long term relationship even if it was a serious one.
If we get anything like that in the books - Jon seducing Dany to get close to her dragons - I generally imagine it going that once he figures out how to ride one of the dragons, he just makes off with it and leaves her high and dry. Maybe he plays up the "we're the blood of the dragon" angle as a distraction of some sort. But like - is he actively manipulating her specifically to usurp her? No. But is he worried about the North and willing to once again put his sexuality, emotions, honor, and body on the line to protect it? Yeah, I think that was the initial plan when they wrote s7 and if Joner.ys happens, I do imagine it's going to go like that; not actively trying to kill her (anymore than he was actively trying to kill Ygritte) but definitely using her feelings for him to get the goal he's aiming for (protection for the North).

It is I, the anon from a couple weeks ago, and I return having watched War of Nerves. You were correct, and I loved it! It just made me want to wrap Sidney up in a blanket and give him the love I know he deserves. Also when he starts stripping around their massive camp fire? Beautiful. Exquisite. Quite literally took my breath away. Additionally, though I may be a few days late, I also just watched Merchant of Korea, and happy (late) birthday! Truly that episode was also top tier and I'm sooooo normal about everyone in their hot weather clothes. A+ to the costuming department for that episode honestly. Thank you for giving me those episodes to look out for!
Hello hello hello!! I thought about you the other day and hoped you were doing well :D Good to hear you've been enjoying your travel through the series!
Unsurprisingly to anyone here, War of Nerves will always destroy me, augh. The way that this psychiatrist who was literally being shelled in a foxhole less than an hour ago immediately takes up the call to take care of everybody else rather than actually have a quiet recovery in camp? First of all, Sherm, I am boxing you. Second of all, Sidney, I am begging you to please just let yourself lay down and cry and be held. Ruins me. Absolutely ruins me.
Also can I say that I've read my friend Canon's sidhawk fic so many times that I always interlay their coda into it—a moment where Mulcahy removes his cardigan and puts it around Sidney's shoulders—and every time I watch it, I'm so confused why he's not in it, hello, this is real, I saw it in the scriptures? hkfdsf
THANK YOU, I had a wonderful birthday!! :D I love that Merchant teaches us one indelible fact, which is that everyone in the 4077th gets horny about poker and they especially get horny about hustling someone. This is not the point of the episode, I know, but it's very important to me. Once they figured out the climactic moment of the episode, they were practically having group sex at that table without ever touching each other or themselves (possibly I should not answer asks at 8am before my caffeine has kicked in but I trust everyone to understand that I must speak my truth). Anyway, god bless the sweaty episodes, thank you to Beej for inventing sweating and bringing sweaty episodes with your arrival.
Ough, you've got some good ones ahead of you. Your Hit Parade is one of my favorite chill, nothing-is-really-happening type of episodes and Temporary Duty is just super fucking fun for me with the angle that it takes. I won't even start talking about S7 yet but it has some AMAZING bangers. I hope you continue to enjoy the series!! :D

I am confused?
Tumblr media
here's why lmao
do indeed remember this season
the baby's name is Amara?? or is the guy just that out of it?
omg Sam is infected!!!! big shocker!!!! (menace knew this)
and the baby has the Mark of Cain???
hi, Billie!!!!
first mention of the Empty... I have a feeling this comes back around in s15
the holy oil worked???
Dean wrapping Cas in the blanket :(((
is this episode just from Baby's perspective? I love episodes with weird perspectives!!
"say it with me - a ✨️werepire✨️"
Finn Wolfhard?!
why do they keep flashing back to Sam's time in Hell??
I forgot Amara was God's sister
I also completely forgot about Sully wtf
Sam, please do not say yes. please
where did she send Dean?? oh, just to safety nvm
you had to have known this was a terrible idea, Sam
you're ready to watch the people you love die? really?
of course they're all in there now
so, if Lucifer is possessing Cas, then where is Cas? or are there just two angels in him?
Eileen!! I know the actress and I've seen people post about her, but I don't remember her?
did Mildred just insinuate that Dean has a crush on Cas?? cause I feel like she did... nvm I forgot about Amara smh
dude, the boys don't even sound the same in earlier seasons :o I hadn't noticed until now
Lucifer is not caged, actually
you have Crowley in a dog cage?? and are treating like a literal dog??
also if Cas isn't Lucifer's perfect vessel, why isn't it showing? like it showed for Nick?
Dean being absolutely devastated that Cas said yes to Lucifer vs Sam just rolling with that punch
they are such children 🤭
Bobby and Rufus were definitely a thing btw
I've said if before and I'll say it again, I miss Bobby
and Sam's been shot, how fun
but he's not actually dead?
a married hunter couple!!!
omg is this the episode we find out Chuck is God??? *
* it is!!! I always thought this happened in an earlier season
and Chuck has the samulet?? I could have sworn Sam had it?
KNEW HE HAD IT (did Chuck throw that in his pocket? maybe. but I will die on this hill. Sam kept it)
KEVIN??? oh nvm he's gone now
Amara is so,,,,,,, unsettling
omg family therapy with God and Lucifer!
of course Sam's gonna take the Mark without talking to Dean 🙄
is this actually gonna work?
did she just kill Lucifer and God??
guess not, okie
Cas is back!!!
all the goodbyes are normal and then he gets to Cas and is almost in tears???
so, it's fine? everything's normal now?
????? Sam just got shot at again???
gonna be honest, I thought Toni was Mary
another season down, hooray!!! this one was so??? I want to say anticlimactic, which was nice considering the other season finales! it's just odd? also wtf happened with Sam? did he get shot? cause it didn't sound it, so what happened? is there just a forcefield around the man? I guess we shall find out
s1, s2, s3, s4, s5, s6, s7, s8, s9, s10, s11, s12, s13, s14, s15

Daemon and Rhaenyra in ep.7: We’ll have everyone believe that we killed Laenor so they can fear us!😈
D and R in ep.8: How can Rhaenys fears us because she believes we killed her son?! When that was our intention in the first place?!😱
That and Rhaenyra kind of forgetting why she married D in the first place and referring to the upcoming war as “his”makes me think if the writers have any idea what each of them write in the episodes they’re given. No wonder Matt and Emma were confused over the chocking scene with D especially even though it’s not OOC for him to do this he’s been given no actual POV since the first big time skip it actually hand me Jon s7 especially s8 vibes where all he did was be subservient to Dany and repeatedly say “You are my queen! and” I don’t want it!”while D was reduced to smirking evilly in the corner waiting for when the action will happen. Don’t get me started on the show trying to paint R as being this amazing queen to be when the shoe has shown no indication of that. All she’s done the whole season has been composing about being “burdened”with being named heir, begging the men in her life to save her and isolating herself at DS while still expecting to become queen just because daddy made the lords half of whom are now dead to swear loyalty to her while neither her nor she doing anything to back up her claim. This tells me the writers have never opened a history book ever yet they reduced this conflict to be between “punk rock Rhaenyra’s”and “woman for Trump Alicsnt” which btw anyone who suggested this should be fired because seriously WTH?!
LOL and similarly, Daemyra in episode 8: chops Vaemond's head off from behind because he correctly stated he is the rightful claimant to Driftmark over Luke because Luke's a bastard.
Daemyra in episode 9: shocked Pikachu because the people who literally watched a rightful claimant get beheaded decide fuck this shit and put the person they believe is the rightful claimant on the Iron Throne without waiting to see if Daemyra will also chop their heads off.
I mean, I enjoy the show and I get what they're trying to do with a lot of things but good lordt maybe acknowledging this kind of shit once or twice would make the story easier to follow and more compelling.

Do you think that they went a bit overboard with Arizona's reaction to her amputation? She acted like she'd rather die than live without her leg. I'm not saying she should've been over it in like 2 days, but she was such a positive&happy character before, plus she was a doctor who knew amputees could live perfectly happy lives. It felt ooc for her to take forever to even begin to accept her disability, and she still blamed Callie for it 1year after and acted like her life was over because of it.
hm i guess i have a few counter points to this argument
first off, you say that arizona was such a positive and happy character, but i’m not sure if i really agree with that. not to say she’s miserable or anything, but she’s also not as sunshiney as seems to be commonly believed. like she’s shown pretty consistently she’s got this pretty serious undercurrent of insecurity and anger and grief and loneliness all wrapped up under the bright, cheery persona she presents on the surface. that said, i also think happy people who have awful things happen to them are just as susceptible to depression and grief and everything arizona was going through, so even if you posit she’s a fundamentally positive and happy person, i don’t necessarily that means she can’t be going through it the way she was shown
as for the fact that she was a doctor, and i know this is a common point for why arizonas reaction was wrong, i’d actually like to start with callie and her injuries in s7. bc callie’s also a doctor and yet she was frustrated and angry and didn’t seem to understand the medical limits of her injuries, so clearly being a doctor doesn’t exclude you from what i’d assume is a relatively instinctive reaction when you’re unwell. i think it’s also very different to be a doctor and helping someone through an amputation and then suddenly going through an extreme trauma yourself and losing your leg. no matter how you spin that, your life is fundamentally changed forever and no matter how many degrees or experience you have that must be terrifying. to arizona, it probably did seem like her life was over. bc how was she supposed to function and be a doctor and be a mom and a wife? and obviously people with disabilities do those things every day, but in the moment (and even a year out) i think there’s a pretty primal, survival like instinct that takes over and you’re trying to triage the situation and arizona couldn’t think logically.
i’m not really going to excuse arizona blaming callie bc obviously that went to extremes. but from arizonas pov, for years, she’s watched callie do the impossible and callie promised (which is a whole other discussion) and then callie failed. the one person who wasn’t going to let her down, failed at the one thing she was supposed to be the best at. and while it’s not fair for arizona to lash out and hold that against callie, i think esp in the early days when she was very clearly severely depressed, i think you can see how her mind got there. i think also the confusion over callie’s exact role in the amputation exacerbated the issue. obviously if arizona had taken a moment to think more clearly, she would’ve realized that it would’ve been impossible for callie to be as involved as she thought she was. but arizona didn’t have the space to really think logically and it added a lot of stress
i’ve never been through something as traumatic as an amputation under such extreme circumstances so i can’t entirely say if it was overboard for arizona to be upset for a year. but also a year isn’t exactly that long. people spend years and years working through trauma and it’s not like you snap your fingers and you’re magically better. people seem to regularly think that arizona should’ve gotten over it or forgotten about the leg but it literally impacted every aspect of her day to day life, of course she had a hard time adjusting and adapting. i think there’s a video on youtube by a woman who is an amputee who goes through arizonas process and i seem to recall she thought it wasn’t unrealistic so i’ll take her word for it

Did Kit suddenly lose his ability to heart-eye or is Pol!Jon actually a thing.
I'm late to the fandom but I just finished S7 and I'm having thoughts.
I'm a reader of the books, and I hadn't watched the show till now because... I suck at watching shows with hour long episodes and more than three seasons.
What made me decide to watch it was the Pol!Jon discourse I found on the Internet.
I know enough about the show to understand how unlikely and out of character this theory would seem to show watchers. At the same time, I fully believe that book!Jon would be fully capable of something like this. But also, even though I do ship Jonsa in the books, I can't deny that Jonerys is.....a big deal. Everyone expects it to happen. It's a highly anticipated pairing and....I just couldn't honestly believe Pol!Jon because it is just so against the general expectation.
So I decided to watch the show. And now I've finished season 7 and I am astounded.
Let me preface this by saying that I went into S7 already disliking Jonerys (sue me) but I still fully expected to have some serious doubts about the validity of Jonsa. I fully expected to be at least somewhat convinced of Jonerys. Even hating the idea of Jon and Danaerys together, I still expected more.
There are a number of things I would like to note here.
First, Jonerys is a romance that is told, not shown. Davos talks about Jon watching Dany's "good heart" (hehe) to tell us Jon is attracted to Dany. But then Jon immediately dismisses it- and not in a way that looks like he's deflecting. He's not only dismissing it, he's dismissive of it. His mind is not in the conversation, it is beyond the Wall.
Similarly, Tyrion says (not in those words), "yeah right, and Jon only looks at you longingly coz he wants a military alliance with you". Not sure what I'm supposed to think about that....? First, Jon doesn't look at Dany longingly at all???? Not once. Second, is this line supposed to suggest that Jon is looking at her longingly for a reason that is not desperately wanting a military alliance....? Because we already know that that's exactly what he does want. Wtf do I make of this statement?????
There are other examples, but the point remains. People keep talking about Jon and Dany being into each other, and that is what is supposed to convince us that they are into each other (well yea Dany is) but Jon gives no indication of looking at her longingly, of falling in love with her, of being intrigued by her even. He's a brick wall.
Alright, I'll concede one (1) scene where I saw legitimate attraction on his face for a second- that is the cave scene. Even there tho, it's hard to tell if he's just watching her reaction carefully or if he wants to bang her.
On the other hand, Dany shows that she is into him. Even so, when I say she's into him, I mean she's attracted to him and intrigued by him. I cannot believe she loves him.
Next, I think it's interesting that in the episode before (or was it the same episode?) Jon bends the knee, we have a number of people (Tormund, Beric) talk about stuff like- kings not bending the knee leading to people dying, knowing what's important (the fight against the dead), being the shield that guards the realm of men blah blah I don't remember the exact words. Then he sees the WW and the Army of the Dead (again) and sees a dragon die. And then, the first opportunity he gets, he bends the knee. I want to point out here that the scenes really emphasise on Jon's thinking face after every conversation he has during their little gay party beyond the Wall. They focus on the look on his face again while he's watching the Army. Multiple times. And there's clearly something going on in his head, gears are turning.
One other scene that struck me is the scene where Jon and Dany are saying goodbye to each other (the Eastwatch episode). In the same episode (if I remember correctly) Jon calls them strangers, and then the goodbye scene comes and Dany says to Jon's little morbid joke, "I've grown used to him". Him being Jon. Two things to note here-
One, Jon considers them strangers but Dany has gotten "used to him". Maybe it's nothing, or maybe it's an indication of how the two of them are absolutely not on the same page (about anything).
Second, Jon's face after she says that. It shuts down. Like a door slamming. And then he says that "wish you good fortune in the wars to come" line, which has ZERO romance, or longing, but a whole lot of bad precedent (does that make sense?). Ouch. The thought that occured to me here is that Dany is being somewhat obvious about her feelings, and maybe, just maybe Jon has picked up on it. And that is why he reacts the way he does.
I wasn't sure so I compared the scene with the Jonsa forehead kiss scene in S6, and Jon's expressions after that kiss.
My logic was this- I assume that either Jon has become aware of Dany's feelings in the Eastwatch goodbye scene, or his own feelings for her. One of these assumptions is true. Which one?
If Jon has feelings for Sansa, then his confusion/awareness/discomfort regarding that are seen in that forehead kiss scene. So if Jon has become aware of his feelings for Dany, let's see how these two scenes compare?
My dudes. There is no comparison. Go watch it.
I watched both scenes with sound off, and the difference is insane. Jon looks at Sansa's lips. There's a moment's pause that's full of tension, and then his face shuts in a way, but it's a bit confused, a bit thoughtful.
Jon does not look at Dany's lips. He does not look confused, or thoughtful. This is not a romance.
Side observation- speaking of showing and telling, it's funny how we're shown Jon looking at Sansa's wolf bits, and told that Jon looks at Dany's good heart. Yes I'm talking about boobs but wolf bits and good heart is funnier. We literally see Jon look at the wolf bits twice, talk about it himself, in a completely unnecessary conversation...as opposed to being entirely dismissive of the good heart, even when someone else brings it up.
Back to the main point, one last thing I'd like to talk about is the scene where Jon actually bends the knee (not really). First, there are still no heart-eyes. Definitely not from Jon. Second, it's funny how Jon uses the exact hand-grabbing move that Sansa used on him last season, when she was trying to convince him to do something he didn't particularly wanna do (like he's now trying to do with Dany). This means that
1) he learnt that move from Sansa. He knows how effective it is XD
2) if the Jonerys hand-grab is romance, it stands to reason that the Jonsa hand-grab is romance too. I mean both the grabs are suspiciously similar.
Then, even after Dany "promises" that she'll help the North fight the WW, Jon still bends the knee. I felt both an odd sense of urgency coming from him, and an understandable hesitation. Or maybe that's just me.
Now suddenly, he becomes complimentary of her. But there's something weird about his compliments. They are completely generic. "They'll see you for what you are" and in the later episode, "you're not like the others". Wtf does that MEAN ??
Here's the thing...Jon could have paid Dany a way more specific, genuine sounding compliment after bending the knee (complete with heart eyes). I mean she did just fly over the Wall to rescue him and his men. He could have said more, something meaningful, but he didn't. He bent the knee like a house on fire (that doesn't make sense but you get what I mean I hope) and paid generic compliments. Then he pretended to sleep until she left and then sighed very loudly.
??? Romance??? WHERE????
Then the dragon pit. Heart-eyes still missing.
Then the sex scene. What do I say? Lol.
No really. There are no heart eyes even during the sex scene. Honestly, idk what that face was. Not in love for sure.
Another side note- Arya and Sansa have talks while standing in the same place where the forehead kiss scene happened (wtf do you call that place again, the bridge.??) But no heart eyes. No lingering looks. There is no incestuous gay love between them, I can say for sure. All it does is prop up the odd incestuous vibes of the Jon Sansa scene in that same place.
ANOTHER side note- goddamn but does Sansa talk about Jon a lot.
Edit: I'm sure most of this stuff has already been discussed in other metas. My purpose here is only to put down my first thoughts after watching the season.

S7 spike/spuffy complainer anon back: 100% AGREE with everything you said! Also did not notice how strange it was that buffy killed angel in s2 but spike isn’t dust in s7….writers, wtf guys. Him with Robin Wood too had me baffled when I first saw the ep! I couldn’t believe he said “ur mom clearly didn’t love u enough to stop being a slayer” MY DUDE….U OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT’S NOT HOW IT WORKS. So irritating. And seeing people say “bUffy diD loVe sPikE” just stop. It’s embarrassing, WHY would they have him refute it after she says she loves him if she supposedly did. What point other than “no you don’t but thanks for saying it” exists?! Spuffy’s s7 arc really doomed the season
Honestly I would’ve preferred to see AtS have sprusilla back for a season. It surprised me when I first watched btvs, how much I liked sprusilla, they’re so underrated. Sometimes just let the bad guys stay bad
Honestly, Buffy lets Spike go a thousand times over the seasons and it makes no sense whatsoever, and it makes less and less sense the longer the seasons go on. Like...he made a buffy-bot, stood outside her house, lured her into a false stake-out just to expose Riley. Like...and the behaviour doesn't get better. Why WOULD she love him? Every time Spike and buffy are close, it's literally because Buffy is completely isolated and alienated from the people she cares about. That isn't love. At best, Buffy is resigned to Spike being there. All season Buffy's been getting her ass kicked, and struggling to keep everyone alive. And Angel shows up...and she lights the fuck up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then this is her, reassuring a fuck ass weak, fragile baby spike after:
Tumblr media
At BEST, that's pity. Love where? And I agree, when Drusilla comes back to Spike in s5, it's great. I HATE that they made it about Spike's obsession with Buffy that he confuses with love, but he has them all tied up. Like...?
And I agree. Spike was at his best when he was the snarky, violent asshole in twisted love with an insane vampire. That was fun, funny and interesting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And they KNEW it, which is why Spike starts to go back to that snarky attitude into s7, which is just...this is why I say the soul isn't the important factor. Angel works for redemption, Spike is just given it.
Like you said, let the bad guys just be bad. Spike could've just been a recurring character, like in season 3.

Pilot Special, Garmadon: Why does he think that having four arms is an unbeatable advantage?
S1, Garmadon, Pythor, Great Devourer: Why does Garmadon still think that having four arms is an unbeatable advantage? Also, Pythor is a wimp hiding behind his stronger allies. The giant snake is a problem though, until Lore looks at it and says, "Isn't that just a really oversized Moldorm?"
S2, Garmadon: Why does he still think that having four arms is an unbeatable advantage? At least the so-called 'ultimate weapon' was kind of a challenge. The Master Sword is better.
S3, Overlord: Is... is he meant to be affecting something? What's 'technology' and why is he so obsessed with it? Can't be that good if it can still be stabbed with a sword.
S4, Chen: Why did he think snakes were the solution? It's not like Pythor was ever a threat, the odds of Chen being worse are pretty slim.
S5, Morro, Preeminent: Probably would have been more of a threat if Steam didn't hardcore shut down everything Morro tried. The Preeminent would have been tricky... if Water Rods weren't a thing.
S6, Nadakhan: This guy wants to have a words-and-wits battle with Lore, Vio, and Mask? Yeah, that'll end well for him.
S7, Krux and Acronix: They're messing with the time stream continuum. Mask and Ocarina are going to wreck their entire lives.
S8, Harumi: She had them fooled in the beginning, not gonna lie. Unfortunately for her, they've dealt with more manipulative people.
S9, Iron Baron, Garmadon: Why, uh... why exactly does this dude think he's hot stuff, exactly? Meanwhile, Garmadon finally gave himself an evilness upgrade. Why didn't he go for this rather than the four arms?
S10, the Oni: First of all, Oni takes offense with this. Second of all, they're ripping off Shadow's everything, and Shadow also takes offense with this. May they rest in pieces.
(And as that's as far as I've watched, I'm gonna bow out for the remaining seasons. I don't think I can comment on those without actual knowledge!)
Tumblr media
Well the specific phrasing was, “Lloyd is the one literally descended from the god… and it’s a running joke that he’s always the one getting kidnapped.”
Zelda is descended/reincarnated from Hylia, a god. And frequently in the games, she's the one getting kidnapped. With those two parallels, it seemed to me that the asker was saying that Lloyd is Zelda, and therefore my immediate thought was, 'well who's his Link?'
Sorry if that was confusing, my brain goes in interesting directions sometimes.
Tumblr media
I've not, but now I'm apprehensive. What did they do?
This concerns me
