Huntlow situationship gives me such intense brain termites you don't get it

#no i dont think its because Hunter needs time to heal first #i think if it was up to Hunter they would plunge into a committed romantic relationship immediately after the events of the finale #he would propose to her in like. 3 months probably #i know that sounds intense but i think this is what ''i literally died and came back to life'' mania does to a guy #he is so carpe diem minded hes become a little insane. he wants everything #no more waiting around. no more hesitating. he cant afford to do that anymore #would it have been the wise decision to enter a romantic relationship immediately #who's to say. but Hunter would have done it without thinking about it #its Willow that makes the decision to slow down and wait a while before they make any committments theyre not ready for #i dont think she's entirely learned her lesson about letting herself be emotionally reliant every once in a while #shes made progress but the events of ftf were such heat of the moment responses #once things are semi-stable she still needs to adapt to acknowledging that her feelings for Hunter are like. serious. and scarily intense #so like. yea Willow is slamming her pedals on the breaks for both their sakes. shes thinking about how this would effect Hunter too #but also. she scawwed.#when Willow tells him she wants to talk and she's like ''i think we should just be friends'' oh the face he makes is DEVASTATED #he didnt expect it was going in this direction at all. but like. once Willow explains how this is the most reasonable decision for now #he DOES agree. he understands what shes saying and he agrees that it's the best decision to take a breather before they jump into a romance #anyway even when theyre not officially dating the flirting continues insistently. they are very obsessed with each other and cant stop #Willow keeps trying to insist to herself that its just messing around. nothing serious. they find each other hot. its fine to kiss a little #but Hunter makes it very hard when he looks at her with big brown labrador eyes. looks at her like shes the entire world #i think if it was up to Willow they would have been trapped in that uncertain limbo forever. shes too scared to take the plunge #even if she wants to. she badly wants to #but Hunter just wont let that happen. every so often he says ''im ready whenever you are''#he makes his intentions very known. he is not the shy boy from Camila's house anymore #Willow cant just playfully flirt with him without worrying that hes gonna reciprocate. he talks now. he expresses himself #shes a little afraid of that. but she adores it too. he makes her feel safe but also he wont let her stay in this comfort zone #hes giving her the push she needs to pursue this relationship. gives her to push to feel like she can go after what she wants #because god knows HE knows what he wants #they make me so insane

Don't Starve is the only game I know that somehow senses my HUBRIS.

I was 2 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE FINAL PORTAL IN THE FINAL LEVEL OF ADVENTURE MODE WITHOUT CHEATING OR ANYTHING. I had spent DAYS working to win the game, 2 MINUTES away from the end! I had Chester! I had a billion pierogies! I had two activated touchstones! I had it all, baby!!!!

I even bragged to my wife that the game was almost easy now!

Big mistake. The Hubris Sensing Technology (TM) of the World's Most Unforgiving Game sensed my complacency and the next thing I knew I was barraged by more Clockwork Bishops than I have ever seen in a single place in my hundreds and hundreds of hours playing this evil evil game!!!

I got through more killer bees than I'd ever seen, and a huge dense forest of 1,000 spiders! All that I could handle!!

But I have NO IDEA what I was supposed to do about a bottleneck that involved 60 ranged attacks hitting me within 5 seconds and stun-locking me to death. I have never been so Humbled by a game, and I've been playing this game for so long!

I have made this art piece to commemorate the occasion.

To make this, I cut out sprites from the game and from other official art by Klei Games, and then I added all the lighting effects and arranged it all together.

The only other thing I actually drew for this is Wigfrid's hand holding the torch.

Normally, I illustrate every element of a piece I do; but for this, I just wanted to quickly communicate the High-Pitched Silly Screaming Horror of running into this monstrosity in the "all-darkness" level of Adventure Mode!!

Wait I need to rant about this dream I had cause it was wild

I was basically going to the movies with my friends, but the movie was based on the daycare attendant? Like it was basically known this movie was based on the daycare attendant fandom and the character and some of their stories so I was of course stoked going in. It was live action and all the characters were human

But it ended up being such a sad film like— it was basically split into 2 parts

First half was the main lead falling in love with eclipse except it kinda had the vibes of like the new hunger games movie ballad of songbirds and snakes where like they were falling in love but eclipse was not a very good person and had goals outside of their relationship which was gonna tear them apart

Eventually eclipse ends up leaving the main character, leaving them heartbroken and betrayed

Somehow they also end up with eclipses kids, sun and moon, and the second half is the main character’s struggle to raise the two. moon is super sick, like really sick for an infant where throughout the movie you aren’t sure if he’s gonna make it or not. Like by the time they are toddlers Moon is so developmentally behind compared to sun that the main character is super concerned if he’s ever gonna catch up. Sun is able to grow up healthy, but the MC keeps having this complex where they see Sun as like taking away the health of his brother, and they keep thinking about how unfair it is that’s he’s able to grow up healthy and happy and his brother is not. MC is also lowkey projecting some of their betrayal and hatred of eclipse onto sun partially cause he looks like him and partially cause MC is projecting their own struggles onto moon.

I just remember this vivid scene where we hear MCs internal monologue about how unfair it is that sun is healthy and moon is not while they stare at toddler sun and it’s heavily implied they are contemplating strangling Sun, but then cute baby sun just looks up to their mother figure with just absolute innocent care and worry and is just like— “mom? Are you okay?”

And that of course snaps MC out of it

The rest of the film follows as they grow up with kinda the vibe of the second half of east of eden

But then it cuts to years later, where like a mission is being carried out by this mysterious figure which is then revealed to be Sun all grown up, and he calls out to someone to hurry up, but before it’s revealed who it is the movie cuts and it’s a whole cliff hanger

So you end the movie by not even knowing if moons okay or not

Anyway later when I went to check the rating on rotten tomatoes it was at a 10% 💀

I’m going to make this so much worse for all of us emotionally. I really think Matty would want to have a baby with reader because he wants to be able to care for her while she’s pregnant like he never got to with Annie’s mom ( in my brain she was no contact from when she told him she was pregnant to when she gave birth to Annie)

So that’s why he is sooooo caring to reader when she’s pregnant. It’s like he’s making up for what he wasn’t able to do for Annie’s mom. Taking care of her during morning sickness. Getting food in the middle of the night for her cravings. Even getting to hold her hand and be with her when the baby is born. Also he’s getting to do all the things he wanted to do that don’t have anything directly to do with taking care of reader, like getting to feel the baby kick… talking to the baby in readers belly like “woah that was a strong kick there fella, you going to be a football star? You better play for Newcastle.” And also just in general getting to kiss the readers stomach because he’s just so happy she’s pregnant with his baby and that Annie will have a little sibling.

I have been trying to think of a response to this all night but all I can say is;

WHY WOULD YOU SAY THIS THATS SO FUCKING SAD. BUT SO SWEET.

like all he wanted was to be there for the pregnancy but he didn't get a chance and didn't think he would again. but now you're pregnant and he finally can be the doting boyfriend who does everything. sobbing.

the Newcastle thing is actually evil but also so sweet. oh he just wants to be a dad PLEASE-

you wake up at 3 am to him whispering to your bump, maybe he even rubs it in his sleep subconsciously. just general sweetie pie simp behaviour!!!
