lil drabble where you befriend ghost at the tf141 new year's party... what can possibly go wrong?

content: drunkness, socially anxious-ish reader, ghost being ghost, passing out and hickeys.

"will you be coming at the new year's party tonight?" price asked as he noticed you filling some paperwork in the common room.

"i dont think so" you sigh, "im not that much of a social person, and i still have a lot of paperwork to fill in,let alone medical files."

"are you sure?" price asked, worried you might overwork yourself, but then an idea suddenly came to his mind. "i heard the lieutenant will be there as well, rumors have it you have a crush on him, so it'd be a good opportunity to actually talk to him, instead of just- avoiding him like you do."

the thought of captain price having noticed you had a crush on ghost sent a bright blush to your cheeks, but you waved those thoughts away.

"even if he was here, that doesn't mean i stand a chance with him" you reply, losing focus on your paperwork, now that the lieutenant was mentioned. "we barely talk anyway, and he seems to hate me so..."

"he seems to hate everyone" price chuckled, "dont take it personally. did the fact that he will be there change your mind?"

"i dont know" you sigh, but your little smile was betraying you. "it will depend on whether i have finished filling those files. at what time will it start?"

"around 7!" price replied with a subtle smile, feeling like he convinced you to come. "oh,and, you can come in a casual outfit, no need to pull up the formal uniform", he winked and left.

the few hours that separated you from the awaited party came, and all of a sudden a sudden peak of anxiety invaded you.

what if everyone made fun of your awful social skills? what if you didnt dress well enough?

your overthinking stopped as you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket; surprisingly enough, it was a text from price.

are you coming? ghost is here 👀

you chuckled as you put on a comfy sweater, and headed to the common room.

"you came!!" price greeted you, smiling brightly at you. "make yourself at ease, go get yourself something to drink, and who knows? maybe alcohol can help you make a move on our lovely lieutenant" he chuckled, before handing you a cup of alcohol.

"do you... want to get me drunk so i could get rid of my social anxiety?" you asked price, raising an eyebrow.

"maybe" he chuckled, already sounding drunk, "is it working?"

"not reall- ouch"

you blushed brightly as you noticed ghost was the one who stumbled into you.

"oi," he said, sounding slightly drunk as well, "im sorry. must've lost my balance, probably drank too much already. you're y/n, right?"

"y-yes," you nod, still not over the interaction, praying he didn't notice the bright blush on your cheeks, "why?"

"because..." he tries to articulate, and nearly fell on the floor, "ive been meaning to tell you... you're doing a great ass good job... dont let my mean words convince you otherwise, k?"

"oh-" you said, taken aback by this sudden demonstration of kindness, your heart melting. "thank you lieutenant..?"

the evening went on, until the cheerful "happy new year!!!" resonated in the walls of the tf141's buildings, everyone happy to finally greet the new year.

the party then came to an end, and so you decided to stay a little longer to help clean the room. once you got done, and got ready to head back to your quarters, you noticed an odd figure.

was ghost... asleep? he sure seemed to. he probably passed out due to all the alcohol he had drank, and you couldn't blame him.

that's how he somehow ended in your quarters - and if you were to be honest, carrying a man as massive as him was NOT an easy thing, but you somehow managed to. you tried your best to put him in a comfortable position on your couch, but bringing him here was already kind enough, wasn't it? so you just left him laying down on the floor, covering his massive frame with a blanket, and put a pillow under his head.

"this sure was a strange new year's day" you thought out loud, "happy new year lieutenant"

just in case something happened to ghost, you decided pull an all nighter (?), and you were right to, well at least, soft of.

in the middle of the night, ghost woke up, seemingly not over his hangover.

"i'll tell you what, y/n, ive always been in love with you." he mumbled, barely able to stand.

your heart dropped at this confession, but you had to stay lucid: he couldn't possibly mean it, it had to be the alcohol, right? that would make no sense if he was in love with you.

but you couldn't help to secretely wish what he was saying was true, after all you know the saying: drunk words are sober thoughts, and now you really hoped the saying was true there.

"lieutenant,you're drunk, you should go back to sle-"

he interrupted you by kissing you, first on the lips, and then moved on to your neck, leaving a little trail of hickeys here and there.

you gave in the kiss, you knew it was wrong, but it felt so good, but quickly waved those thoughts off: it was wrong in any way. he was your superior, and drunk, you couldn't abuse his drunken state like that.

but the feel of his lips on yours sure felt like heaven...

as if nothing happened, he smirked softly as he pulled out of the kiss, and resumed his peaceful slumber on your floor.

however, the next morning was nothing like that.

"looks like someone had fun last night" ghost grumbled as he noticed your many hickeys. "what the fuck am i doing here? and where even is here, and did you poison me? why is my head pounding?" he asked, back to his usual stern self, and you would actually be surprised if he didnt.

"youre in my quarters" you reply as you handed him a cup of anti hangover tea. "i brought you here because we were the only two remaining at the party, and you passed out. and hum... about the hickeys, how much do you remember from last night?" you ask as you look away, embarassed at the thought of last night's passionate kiss.

"i dont remember shit, why?" he asked, sounding more annoyed than mean.

"okay i..." (you sigh) "promise not to get mad at me if i tell you?" (he shakes his head, annoyed) "okay, so... you confessed yesterday." you blurt out, "but that is not all." (you gulp.) "we also kissed and... you gave me those hickeys."

"oh." he said blankly, and you could feel the blush in his voice, despite his mask.

"yeah.." you chuckled awkwardly, not daring to look at him, "but i have one question though. were you honest when you said you... 'always have been in love with me?"

your heartbeat quickened as you waited for his answer, but you had to know.

"would it be weird if i said yes..?" he asked, unable to look at your eyes, and your heart nearly missed a beat. "i mean, youre always doing what youre told to despite the fact that i treat you like shit and... i don't know, i guess that made me develop a kind of soft spot for you... do you happen to feel the same way..?" he asked, and you could feel the vulnerability in his voice.

"i- i think i do..?" you replied, both confused and relieved. "i mean, i always thought you hated me but.. this feels a bit rushed. can we do it again?"

"okay" he nodded, "how does 'hello, my name is simon riley, known as ghost, lieutenant from the task force 141, and i am in love with the wonderful y/n' sounds?" ghost chuckled with a soft smile, loving at you with loving eyes.

"much better" you reply with a soft smile, butterflies fluttering in your stomach, way better.

later on that day, when you and ghost headed to the briefing room hand in hand, price couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

"see? seems like alcohol can do wonders" he whispered, and it made you let out a small chuckle as well.

twst apocalypse au

sorry gaymers i'm twstposting again

so i started a yokohama kaidashi kikou inspired (kinda) zombie apocalypse twst au. i'm currently writing it as a fanfic but i'll probs draw a bit for it too. i say its ykk inspired bc it's more "soft apocalypse" bc i love that kind of thing. (though there is some angst/intense shit for you pain lovers out there, mostly in the first chapter but it's also gonna be sprinkled throughout)

uhhh but yeah it's from epel's perspective but i kinda have everyone in it. each dorm has their own post-apocalyptic chill spot/hobby/business. i'm not gonna talk about them all here tho as i want it to be revealed in the fic. may talk abt it later tho.

i'm having trouble with deciding on ships to put in the background. the main focus is obviously their lives during the apocalypse but for some characters i think it can be used for development and for others i just think its fun.

prolly gonna have rooktrey. however, i need help deciding who i want riddle to be with. my multishipper ass is losing my mind over having to pick one. appletart (riddle/epel) would be neat but im kinda ehhhh for this one. then there's riddle/che'nya cuz he shows up later and theres a lot of intereting childhood friends -> lovers stuff there that i can play with + riddle finally being able to enjoy his company. and then maybe riddle/ruggie bc they make me happy and also i think ruggie would do a good job of pushing riddle out of his comfort zone a bit.

considering putting idia with someone cuz they're kinda learning to cope and live their life more in this but also i love the idea of them being able to be happy by themself. but also they'll have a neat dynamic with diasomnia in this so possibly malleus or silver but irdk.

ok so yeah these werewolves r more the ugh terrible curse that ruins ur life flavour, they cant transform at will, no benefits in human form like cool retractable claws or anything. they transform on the full moon & whenever they get extremely angry or scared, & its the gross horrifying painful kind like you get a new set of teeth every month kinda thing. they can avoid turning if they stay out of the moonlight BUT they feel extremely obligated to go look at it, and will get violent if kept from it, so its safer for the person to just turn than to throw themself at a basements brick wall relentlessly, all night- so you cant actually avoid it unless you wanna break all your arms every month, i mean the arms break either way but they heal when they turn back if theyre broken by turning. will eat anyone and anything except vegetables while a wolfh

weakness 2 silver in both forms, similar to a vampire. other injuries heal quickly but if u like killed it hard enough with a non silver weapon itd probably still die? it depends. like if u put a werewolf into a stainless steel blender, and the blender didnt break... itd probably stay dead, whereas if u put a vampire in a blender, i mean its hard to say, what counts as decapitation... if putting a vampire in a blender doesnt count as decapitation the vampire survives just fine. im trying to say werewolves are technically weaker than vampires, but theyre probably in a practical setting harder to kill, bc u cant just stake it and theyre huge. avery wouldnt know where to start with a werewolf.

depends on the vampire hunter! its not in the job description, but the kind of person who decides to become a vampire hunter is probably more likely to have a problem with werewolves. avery doesnt care about werewolves at all & wouldnt go out of her way to find and kill one, she's a little bit scared of them bc they spread their curse much easier than vampires (one bite is all it takes 2 pass it on) & she would find being a werewolf SO embarrassing.

(but she doesnt have to worry about that anymore bc i dont think vampires can become werewolves, i think werewolves can become vampires though. 4 a vampire the bite would heal immediately and i think vampires are a little bit too much of their own creature for werewolfness or whatever to recognise them as a suitable curse haver)

nobody except fish's family knows shes a werewolf!

Anyways I would say this would be when you’re laying in bed. You were both just relaxing when you start to get up and stretch. You shirt or sweater slips enough for him to glance at it

You catch his eye and pull the sleeve back immediately but he grabs your arm somewhat firmly but it’s mostly gentle and it’s from a place of concern and starts to pl the sleeve back to see how far the damage goes

You are bracing yourself for a lecture at this point but as he’s holding your arm in one hand he begins to run over the scarring with his thumb before bringing your wrist/arm up to his mouth and kissing it

You ask him if he’s mad but he shrugs and says that those are reminders of how strong you actually are and how far you’ve come

*cue tears* holds you tightly and kisses the top side of your temple. He won’t say anything else on it unless you are ready to talk about it

Cemetery Mary: Reginald's Route

now im in the final stretch!! its time to play Reginald's route!! this time i will not look at the ending guide like i did for my other playthroughs bc idrc abt which ending i get first (i'll use the guide for getting the other ending)

i'll just try to avoid accidentally getting the true ending which shouldnt be too hard

now its time to play!! (spoilers below)

why did Reginald go to the cemetery also how did he finish that book so quickly?? welp now its time to meet up w him there he'll probably tell Mary why he's there anyways

things i despise abt working as a hostess/cashier in a restaurant:

-people who order takeout and DONT tip while also being the most demanding (a guy yesterday didnt tip me and then asked me to give him three separate kinds of sauces that i had to run around trying to pour in different places and he STILL didnt tip me but glared at me instead for taking so long)

-customers who walk in and ignore my greeting and just hold up fingers to show me how many people are in their party. “HELLO! WELCOME!” i will say again until they acknowledge me like im a person and not a robot.

-people snapping at me from their tables (like “garcon!” vibes). makes me wanna spit in ur eye tbh

-people complaining abt their server (sometimes even my mom!!) when they come to the register to pay and seriously expecting sympathy from me (i will glare at u instead bc im servers > customers every time.... especially when its my mom)

-people saying “keep the change! thats ur tip :)” about cents (this happens to me every shift). if u feel compelled to do this, consider: i dont want ur change. im not THAT broke. jesus

-people trying to seat themselves or pointing out empty tables as if this isnt my ACtual job or as if i dont know what im doing. see also: people saying they dont mind table OR booth and then whining and bitching when i dont seat them in a booth. or “can i sit in that section?” “no, sorry, that section is closed” “but i see empty tables over there.” ok????? AND????

-people who say “table for 4!” and neglect to mention theres also three baby strollers theyre bringing to their table. SHOCKER! but babies also count as part of the party. idc if theyre not gonna eat. i need to seat u which means i need to know how much space u need. someone once said “it might be a party of 4, maybe of 8, depending.” BITCH THOSE ARE 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT NUMBERS and would get COMPLETELY DIFFERENT tables. get back to me when u make up ur mind (see also: “party of 3” “okay. any children?” “yeah, 4.” “oh. u mean party of 7 dont u.” “uhhhh party of 3 plus 4 kids.” INSANITY that this happens EVERYDAY)

-ppl ordering to-go and trying to talk abt modifications even tho im asking abt sides (and ignoring me when i stress to them that i have to put things in a specific order into the computer). basically: answer my questions. ive done this before. its my job. u can add modifications at the end. u know, when i ask. also pls have ur order ready when u call/come up to me. i have other things to do and when u have to go talk to someone else and ask abt smth that u shouldve figured out already it just shows that u dont respect my time. when i order takeout i always figure out exactly what i want ahead of time. write it down if u feel like it! thats actually better for me! DO NOT call me for take out and then say “well that was my order. BENNY HEY BENNY WHAT DO U WANT FOR DINNER?” i will skin u :)

-delivery ppl getting snappy with me abt “how long the food is taking” when they see that i am very obviously NOT in the kitchen cooking. like what do u want ME to do abt that???

-delivery ppl getting pissed when i dont offer them free beverages (if they have a kid i will offer the kid apple juice! but not u. ur not even a customer i dont care)

-ppl asking what the soup of the day is, disliking my answer, and then asking if theres some other soup, as if “soup of the day” isnt hint enough that THATS the soup for today and there is no alternative. “can u check?” why would i do that. where would this “alternate soup” even come from?? are u stupid

-doordash/ubereats/grubhub/etc orders. i get it.... but also.... understand me... i dont make money off of them and theyre sometimes way too demanding so i consider it a waste of time and they end up being my lowest priority when theres customers who are ACTUALLY tipping me. ill get it done, but Robert tipped me ten bucks so hes getting the works and all my attention. not u. ur driver got that tip, not me. maybe the driver should put in the work then! (but they dont! they never check anything and never ask follow up questions and never know ur order. they WILL miss the drinks if i dont remind them. i should get the tip instead)

-ppl asking me for salad dressing/maple syrup on the side. as if thats not default. why would i put dressing on ur salad. what restaurant does that?? WHY WOULD I PUT SYRUP ON UR PANCAKES IDK U

basically in summation: TIP THE CASHIER WHO MAKES UR TO GO ORDER. she is very cute but has a bad temper and will pour u very little salad and dressing if u dont tip her. if u DO, she will pack EXTRA dressing, extra vegetables, offer u a free drink, give u extra anything, bc she loves u and u showed appreciation for her efforts!

#im gonna be honest #even if u think ur super awesome as a customer. u have serious shortcomings #if u work in food service even for a few months u will all of a sudden Realize #and alwaYS remember: when in doubt TIP THE PERSON TAKING UR ORDER #if u cant afford to tip then u cant afford to eat out. and thats that #anyway this is a post where i complain for once #enough yelp!!! its time for restaurant workers to form a website that rates customers!!!#find out how many servers dread u being sat in their section!#red stuff #i might delete this but #i just wanted to vent some very minor inconveniences #every day that i work in a restaurant i am reminded that customers do not view me as a human being whose time is valuable.

YEAH young k is everywhere hahahaha it was so cute when he walked into bang chan's vlive (i dont follow skz but i love interaction between groups 🥺), and same day6 songs are all SO GOOD even the even of day ones, idk how they do it asahhdjf and OMG PLS DONT GET ME STARTED ON JAE'S VOICE!!!!!! (jae is my bias yes....) but HIS VOICE?? is the most BEAUTIFUL THING EVER i love his voice and when he sings.....i just die, it's like slightly raspy and emotional and sigh-y if that makes sense idk. and all 5 of them can sing too which is so incredible <3

OMG SIYUAN AHAHAHA OK SO U WANNA HEAR MORE ABOUT MARK/JAEMIN are you sure you do, are you ready??? ok i'll just gush about jaemin because he has taken over my mind anyway (sorry mark) and you brought up how if you had the imaginary chance to be with any idol it would absolutely be jaemin. WELL ME TOO. ME TOO. i lowkey squealed when you said that lmaoo omg but the way im....so excited....to talk about jaemin........okay deep breaths mel

so we're going to ignore how incredibly physically attractive jaemin is, because anyone with eyes can see that and there are many other reasons why i like him (i would insert pics here but i dont want to make this any longer than i already know it's gonna be) :D but while we're on physical elements, i love his deep voice....it's so sexy it hurts but his voice is also really soothing at the same time :( like this video my friend posted a while back ahhhhh <33333 and i love his lazy raps in his deep voice like in my youth (and also the part where he and renjun sang in octaves BLESSING OUR EARS). but other reasons: i also love how he's the "mom" friend who takes care of dreamies, but what i love most is how he doesnt complain and does what needs to be done?? like in 7llin, he cooked the meat and made sure dreamies ate first, and he also had to wash dishes and make breakfast a bunch of times bc he lost rock paper scissors lmao but he did it without complaint <3 and grocery store jaem is also just....so sexy again 😭 he inspires me to be as patient and kind as he is <3 mostly, i love how kind he is. he talks about his mom's influence a lot, and how he wants to cook her dishes for his future family (HOLD ME IM SOFT) and how he still volunteers/donates to charity bc his mom taught him that if he has things he should give to others <3 he is also so uncompetitive (if he doesnt want to win at least, bc when he does he goes hard) and he lets his members win because he knows theyre competitive af and it makes him happy just seeing them be happy 🥺 i suspect that he could win/knows answers to game questions and stuff but he doesnt say it so that his members can win instead. and i also just rly relate to introvert jaemin LOL he can be crazy with people he's close with (his unpredictableness and duality is part of his charm to me), but also he maybe doesnt rly know how to act with people hes not as close with, which i relate to as an introvert (like that xiaojun/nomin vlive HAHAHAH POOR XJ was sitting there like what do i do is this normal, while nomin were holding hands and staring into each others eyes) OK WELL clearly i am 1000% whipped for na jaemin, i shall stop now <3 thank you very very much for letting me gush <3

also your drawing journey is so interesting, i had a similar thing with music haha i did a lot of violin since i was young until college, and i did it on and off in college but now im out of college and dont rly do it anymore lol but i still love music! i drew a bit as a kid too but i stopped so im not very good but it's really therapeutic, i've been thinking of learning to draw again maybe <3 and i love your style but thats so funny that it developed bc you had no time to color your pieces LOL. glad you developed your style AND graduated at the same time though yess you go <3
