ㅤNo, nothing good starts in a getaway car.

ㅤDull beats of music bangs in your head, your heartbeat seems to copy the fast pace of the beat, breathing even faster. You didn’t expect to see him, Tsukishima Kei, in a random college house party your boyfriend had invited you to. Your boyfriend knew you weren’t too social, you didn’t have much friends, so he thought it would be a good idea to invite you, he was such a good man, he cared about you and he took care of you, he encouraged you to make more friends, he helped you with anything you asked. He was such a good man, a better man, than the one standing in front of you right now.

ㅤHis tall frame even taller, he’s still active in volleyball, after all. He looked so much more mature. And oh wow, he still smokes. “Can I help you?” he scoffed, somewhat annoyed. Oh, he doesn’t remember you? maybe it’s the alcohol, maybe he doesn’t remember you at all, or maybe it’s the wrong person. You’ll assume the latter, seems like the safest option. Acting drunk even though you’re stone cold sober. Going back to what you were here for, you didn’t want somebody to like you because of your actions while you were drunk, you wanted them to like you for you. And you’ve found a person that does love you for you, two, actually, hell, you’re dating one right now, but for some reason it doesn’t feel right.

ㅤ“Nothing. You just look familiar” you sigh, turning your head to the ground from the patio you are standing on. You leaned your body to the fence of that patio, letting your elbows support your weight. “Really? How so?” he copies your movements, leaning to the fence next to you, smoke exiting his lips just like how Tsukishima used to in the back of your high school, somewhere you can be together (and your other friends) and nobody else can see you.

ㅤ“Well, there was a guy I liked in high school. He was pretty mean, kind of a bully” you chuckle, recalling all the times you were with him clearly. “He never paid any attention to me, I thought he hated me, but one night, he kissed me. It was… wonderful… I still think about that kiss, I still think about him. I miss him. I have a boyfriend though, so I doubt I could ever be with him again” a wave of overwhelming sadness sucked you in. You miss him so much. You miss how he looked at you that night. How his lips tasted like strawberries and how his breath smelled like smoke and how loved every single second of it.

ㅤ“Are you drunk?” he chortles. His teasing goes unanswered. You are so into your thoughts about him and how you wished you could’ve said or done something sooner. Coughing to hide his embarrassment, he speaks up again, “Alright, when did you kiss him?” he rests his chin on his palm as he looks at you as if he knew something you don’t. “Night after graduation?” “Night after graduation” you both say in unison, his more of a question. You twist your head towards him. Your eyes widen in shock. Something pierced through your heart, you felt so happy and relieved. But you can’t do anything, now. You have somebody else that loves you, and you like enough to be with.

ㅤ“Kei…?” you whisper in disbelief. “What’s up?” he laughs. That handsome laugh you haven’t heard. Finally, after 3 years you hear it again, and his smile. Oh my god his smile. You need to kiss him again. “I miss you too, too bad I’m also dating somebody else” he inhales his cigarette bud, his smile wiped off.

ㅤ“Well, you don’t seem too happy with your guy” he blows the same smoke ring into the sky. It’s almost like that night again, but now its somewhat cloudy. It’ll probably rain soon, you don’t have much time with him before it’ll start to rain. Raining means your boyfriend will search for you to take you home and no words will be exchanged. Even if you talk, its always the same thing, he always gives out the same responses, “that’s great, honey” “isn’t that fun” “aww sorry for that” “mhm, oh wow” you felt like a child, you wanted to be treated to an equal, not like a toddler babbling about their newfound interest.

ㅤ“Yeah, go figure” you sigh, once again. “Wanna tell me about it?” he asks, lowering his face to get closer to yours. Everything lines up like that night again. “Would you listen?” you reciprocate softly. “I didn’t get to two years ago, so why not now?” he put out his cigar on an ashtray readily available next to him. “Three years ago, Kei” you slide down to the floor, crossing your legs. Tapping the floor next to you, looking up at him, inviting him to sit down next to you. “It’s been THAT long?” he plops down next to you. something in him wants to lay his head on your lap, but he knew he couldn’t do so.

ㅤHe's been waiting for you. All this time. He isn’t sure why he lied about having a partner too, perhaps to have some relatability, connect to you in some way, but it’s not important now, what is important is now you, and how you feel and how he’ll never treat you like however this scumbag you’re treats you, although he hasn’t even seen or heard about him yet, he already hates him, all for you.

ㅤYour boyfriend, God bless his soul, is a good man. He loves and cared deeply about you. But lately, you’ve been, just, bored. He’s so nice, too nice. He’s so loving, too loving. There is no conversation to build your relationship, you can’t see his point of view, you can’t understand his stance, because he never told you. He always avoids self-inspection; everytime you try to raise your concern about how he acts towards you, he didn’t listen, resorting to empty apologies, instead of making things better. He would never start speaking about what does and does not bother him, nor listening to you explain what does and does not bother you. He treats you like a child. He isn’t a bad person, perse, maybe he just, isn’t Tsukishima.

ㅤYou wanted to leave him. You needed a reason.

ㅤAnd you admit all this to him. He laughs and groans at your stories and how you really just can’t take him anymore. But y’know who you can take? Tsukishima Kei.

ㅤDense silence fills the air. How do you tell him you love him? You kind of did that night, but it never was said, word for word. Fuck it, you’ll say it now. “Hey, Kei” you turn towards him, his face is so alarmingly close to yours, you can just-

ㅤYou instinctively crash your lips against him, it’s your turn to make the move. He still tastes the same, just like when you were 17 again. Tangy smell of smoke mixed with soursweet taste of strawberries deliciously, bringing memories back to you. You missed him and you missed his taste. His fingers interwaves with yours. Not waiting anymore, he shoves his tongue into you. his muscle scanning all parts of your mouth. You whine in pleasure, wanting more.

ㅤ“[Y/N…? [Y/N]…!” your boyfriend calls out your name. You want to stop. No, you need to stop. But you just can’t. You can’t let go of him ever again. “[Y/N] are you fucking serious right now!? What the fuck are you doing?” you can hear your boyfriend screamed from a distance, his body squeezing and pushing against all other bodies on the dance floor. Tsukishima pulls away from you. “No, no, no. This… this is wrong, [Y/N]. I’m still immoral, or whatever the fuck I was when I was in high school, yeah maybe I’m still him, but I can’t.. no, I can’t. You’re with him, you can be happier with him, I just. I don’t deserve you” he stands up, towering over you.

ㅤYou jump up, grabbing and shaking some sense into him. “Yes we can! Please! Can we please just try it!? Please say you love me too, so at least I know that we could!” you yelled. Tsukishima has never seen you yell before, He can see the desperation in your eyes. He feels so bad. You want him, he wants you, but he knows you’ll regret it, and so do you, but you’re willing to risk everything to feel the thrill of it all again. He stares intently to your eyes, he can see clearly your brows furrowing and tears threatening to spill from your eyes, your whole body shaking. He can see it. He can feel it all. It hits him like a truck all at once. His head cannot keep up with his heartbeat. It is all too fast, he needs to sit down, but this is his only chance to be with you.

ㅤBut he knew, he would, and could never, be the right one for you. Don’t let his bigger, more built body deceive you, he hasn’t emotionally matured yet. Unlike your boyfriend, who at least is ready to take responsibility. He isn’t ready. He’ll hurt you.

ㅤIt’s no surprise he turned you in.

-Argyle really wanted a dog and Jonathan didn't, but he was worried he'd upset Argyle so they settled on a golden retriever and Jonathan loves him

i dont know how i hadnt read it yet but oh my god i literally hate you so much that was the best fic ive ever read?? it got so poetic by the end wtf

my personal favorite line was "It seemed as though you had shed your exoskeletons, leaving nothing but the reality that laid beneath layers of labels and assumptions, facades and fronts." LIKE HOLY SHIT BRO YOURE SUCH A GOOD WRITER WHAT

i just love the entire ray's sister concept, and i realy really really love how you didnt make her all naive and sheltered (esp during the smut) because i love the older brother's best friend au but people always make the reader so embarrassing HAHAHA so i really applaud how you made her confident and even snarky at times. no secondhand embarrassment in this fic!

also the reader's friendship with the other guys is YES 🙌

just total chef's kiss all around, love you cas!

OKAY SEVERAL THINGS BECAUSE I COULD WRITE AN ENTIRE RANT ON THE MAKING OF THIS FIC

1. i adore these long messages. i appreciate you sm <3

2. she’s a fucking masterpiece. i consider myself to be relatively humble but kiss and tell is my magnum opus. i will never beat her and i don’t think i want to.

3. i love writing poetic shit. i love metaphors and imagery. i think my favorite lines are either the entirety of the religious guilt passage (mainly “the taste of unholy desire graced gerard’s tongue, wicked truths and sugar-coated lies having him believe that sin would swallow him whole.” for some reason my best writing is done at ~5:30pm. i love that part. i think about it a lot, actually.) or the five senses passage! (i cant pick favorites here honestly. taste and smell absolutely fuck though, i love those lines. smoke and earth?? tongue and teeth and hands where they’re not supposed to be?? shakespeare could never!)

4. i actually wrote that part with a single stream of consciousness at roughly 1am in my notes app! i also do my best writing in my notes app, and i can’t figure out why.

side note: hearing about people’s favorite parts and when they tell me that they laughed at my jokes is the best feeling ever. i love your asks and comments so so much.

5. yeah, it was a really great request! i forgot to mention in the author’s note and stuff that i changed it to step to be more inclusive, but it’s only mentioned in the beginning. i have a couple half siblings and i’ve always considered them full, so i didn’t make it too obvious throughout the rest of the fic.

going along with being ray’s sister, i wanted to give her a sense of edginess that wasn’t overbearing. i feel like ray gets babied in a lot of fics, and i genuinely hate it. rather than making him all innocent, i gave him the overprotective brother role, and even then, i tried not to make it suffocating. he’s worried about her mixing in with the wrong crowds because he’s an outcast himself. he doesn’t baby her either, and they have a similar dynamic to the ways’, except ray’s a little more protective.

6. i didn’t want her to be naive either! the last thing i wanted was to give myself second-hand embarrassment, much less my readers. just because she’s younger doesn’t mean she hasn’t done the same shit. i don’t really picture her as a virgin with a perfect liver and lungs. fics that make the younger sister all innocent make me uncomfortable tbh; it feels like infantilization, which is frankly, really gross.

7. making the reader witty is my favorite thing to do. i don’t know why readers are never written as confident and sarcastic, and instead defaulted to boring and naive. live a little, make your reader less insufferable!

(now that i’m thinking about it, my favorite part might actually be the banter towards the end—“honey, your brother is gonna kick my ass if i sleep with you.” “baby, you’ve already got one foot in the grave for kissing me, and i’d hate for you to die a virgin.” where did that come from??)

8. i really wanted to highlight the fact that she’s friends with all of them! she’s not the annoying little sister; she’s actually pretty cool. i used the mikey way effect, if you will. frank and the reader have this goofy relationship, similar to their relationship with gerard but very platonic. they’re the kind of friends that would fake an engagement for free dessert.

mikey and the reader are the same age, and both pretty quiet compared to the rest of the group. i didn’t touch too heavily on it, but they’re definitely the kind of friends that can read each other with one look. they lay on his bedroom floor in comfortable silence and listen to music just to escape loneliness. all in all, they’ll do pretty much anything together because they simply love being around the other.

BakuSquad’s Boy Part 1

A/N: Based on a fic that doesn’t exist anymore :( I’ll be adding my own head canons from what i remember of the og fic. This whole thing is in a headcanon format :)))

Kirishima was sitting down when he noticed their new transfer student walking into the cafeteria looking lost. Without thinking twice he quickly caught the attention of the male and motioned him to come over.

“Is it okay if I join you?” you asked, recognizing the spiky haired student as your classmate.

“Of course, let me introduce you to everybody!”

The redhead introduced all the guys sitting at the table. The talkative blonde with the lightning bolt in his hair was Kaminari . The smiling black haired boy with oddly shaped elbows was Sero and the angry-faced pale blonde with red eyes was Bakugo. While the rest smiled at you he merely sneered and ignored you.

“Don’t let him bother you too much, he's a grouch!” Kirishima said smiling.

The entire lunch period was spent talking to the Bakusquad and explaining how you transferred from the hero school in your home country and enrolled at UA. Laughing with them and bonding over memes and hero training.

It didn’t take long for you to become part of the friend group.

Y’all are a chaotic group of motherfuckers

The group chat is mess; Bakugo is trying to help people w homework, Zero is constantly sharing tick tocks and at 2 am Denki will spam it with memes ( which pisses Bakugo off bc it wakes him up when he forgets to mute his notifications)

Y’all will study together, which surprisingly, can be super productive sometimes.

It honestly didn’t take very long for you guys to become inseparable. They have you back and you have theirs. Training and working out together is a plus because sometimes y’all are too busy to actually fully hangout.

Kirishima will compliment you in a “manly” way and will totally be your hype man. Will be ecstatic when you give back the same energy. One time Bakugo joined you guys for his morning workout and his jaw almost fell to the ground when he saw you take your shirt off. He couldn’t help but stare like holy shit you were ripped. Training with Kiri really did pay off. Bakugo smirked to himself when he noticed his red haired friend was also checking you out when you didn’t notice.

Going to the mall with Sero and Denki is a whole ass ride. Y’all will go to so many stores and either waste all your money or just fuck around. Hot Topic is definitely a favorite of theirs. They don’t care if it’s not your vibe because they will want to deck you out in the fitting rooms to see what you look like. Once they pushed the curtain before you were done changing your shirt and both pairs of eyes went straight to your body, making you blush.

After being friends for so long the Bakusquad could read each other's emotions and all recognized that they had crushes on you. They talked about it and concluded that this would by no means would get between their friendship but would amicably flirt with you.

They organized a sleepover not too long after. But it was basically them all fighting each other about who’s room they would be staying in. Ended up going to Bakugo’s room because it was the closest for most of them. When you got there you were so caught up with the movie that you didn't realize they were low-key fighting each other for a spot next to you/ touching you in general. It was when y’all were going to sleep when you realized you left your sheets and what not in your room. Bakugo without missing a beat said you could sleep with him which then prompted Denki to tell you that “Bakugo’s feet smell like shit you don't wanna sleep with him” for Kiri to go “ Hey that isn’t manly, you should sleep w me Y/N.”. While the three of them were battling it out you and Sero were just sitting crouched in the corner. “I mean Y/N I could always get sheets and stuff from my rooms ‘cause it's not that far from here.” only for Bakugo to throw a pillow straight in his face yelling “Shut it Soy-Sauce face!!” Yeah they felt really bad in the morning when you ended up sleeping on the floor with nothing covering you.

Sero will want to smoke with you. The first time he smoked with you, you ended up having a panic attack and he felt responsible for making you panic and so anxious. He tries to smoke by himself for the meanwhile until you convince him to let you try again. It goes much better this time. Y’all start vibing to his latin playlist and he tries to teach you but y’all just end up stumbling over each other and constantly laughing. When dancing becomes physically exhausted and watches tick tocks and videos on his phone. Which ends up with y’all crying over the video where the racoon tries to wash his cotton candy but it dissolves. At some point the tears become too much and you both reach for each other which ends up with y'all sobbing and cuddling each other. Y’all fell asleep like this :)

The whole squad smokes at one point or another. Kirishima does it whenever he’s just in the mood to hangout and he uber chills. Bakugo does it to relieve stress and just enjoy life a bit. Denki smokes the 2nd most in the group just whenever he needs to kill time or he wants to vibe.

There will be times when y'all will smoke together and just fuck shit up. Like, one night after exam y’all are smoking but shit starts getting wild. Like y'all are hopping off the walls and dancing around to random music. Denki will find a roach that's stuck on its back and trying to get back off its legs but y’all are dancing all around it thinking it's like break dancing. “ AYYYY FUCK IT UP” Bakugo would yell “GET INTO IT” Sero would then yell. One of y’all took a video and accidentally posted it on Snapchat so the next day Mina would ask like wth happened last night bc y’alls tik toks and snapchats were wack af. Sero would probably speak on behalf of the group and say “ We were just really hyper.

When they all become hyper aware of their feelings not only for you but like low-key for each other they all change a lil bit. Like:

Denki stops flirting with people outside of the Baku Squad. He’s more touchy with y’all. Holding onto arms, arms over shoulders, hands on waists, holding hands, sitting in y’alls laps (this is a big one)

Kirishima has more energy when he’s with you guys. Like he could be running lower on battery than normal but one of y'all just comes up to him and he lights up like a light bulb.

Bakugo stops ruining desks and promptly yelling at people. He’s toned down and becomes a bit more chilled out. Mostly when he's with you guys. He is still a grumpy gremlin when he is with people who aren’t the Baku Squad.

Sero actually hides it pretty well and no one notices and changes that are indicative of a crush. Probably a bit more confident in himself

Kirishima and Denki acting like they haven't seen each other in sages when it really has only been like five minutes.

“ OMG BRO IT'S BEEN FOREVER”

“OMG DENKI MY MAN I MISSED YOU SM!”

“ BRO C’MERE AND PLANT A PHAT ONE ON ME!”

“HELL YA MY DUDE, THIS IS GONNA BE MANLY.”

And then proceed to aggressively walk toward each other, slap each others asses and plant a kiss on each other's cheeks before erupting into a huge fit of laughter. While people around them are just like ‘wtf is going on’

Touching becomes a thing.

Y’all will actively find each other when y'all want a hug or cuddles or smth. Forehead and cheek kisses are a thing. Bakugo takes much longer to warm up to everyone starting really with you and Kirishima. most comfortable holding y’alls hands loosely and rubbing your knuckles. Denki probably does this the most. He lives for physical affection, just give this poor boy his much needed cuddles and kithes.

Despite y’all high-key crushing for each other you all still are absolutely focused on your career paths as heros. Bakugo helping teach english and you trying to help ( if you know english well enough to teach )

“Ok idiots for the last time what word do we use to describe Sarah?”

“I mean she took these poor dudes apples and all of these are positive adjectives...i think.”

“Yeah Sarah’s kind of a bitch.”
