I am so emotional about this!!!

Eclipse genuinely cares for Earth, no matter, how much he's denying it!

I…I do not have words!

His self-loathing…he sees himself as a monster, for everything he did, sees himself as irredeemable, unworthy of forgiveness… He knows, he's been a terrible person, and thinks, he's beyond saving! From the way he spoke, he seemed to ask Earth, indirectly, if she would sacrifice him to get Solar back.

And yet, Earth is still holding on, acknowledging his hurt and showing sympathy and care!

I adored Earth's wonder of morality! Eclipse has done terrible things to her family, to everyone, except for her!

She should hate him. He has caused hurt to her family. He was the catalyst.

And yet…being left untouched by the pain he caused, she can't help but notice his pain. She understands why he acts like this, she understands, that he has been wronged and hurt, and can't help but reach out!

It's such a moral dilemma, and I really hope, they get more into detail with it, because it's really interesting!!

Earth has such a kind heart, and even Eclipse has been touched by it! He seemed about to cry, when he left! Someone sees him, and knows, there are reasons behind his actions! It doesn't make them dissappear, or justify them. But he isn't just a monster, he's a person too! Having someone tell him that, being told, that he can still be better…it would've broken me too!

The one thing I want to point out to it…he's planning to leave to a different dimension?? I don't think, it's by choice, he did mention an agreement, if I remember correctly! Was it with dark Sun?? And why would he want him to leave??? 🤔

I can't even begin to express all the feelings I felt when watching that video its just so GOOD. BUT I played a little more of TotK and, yeah, I'm actually pretty baffled people are impressed by this story and considering it a step above BotW, when to me we are clearly below in almost every single way. Again: the game is super fun and I love the little touches and everything, but beyond The Issues there's a lot that's just... incompetent at a very basic level honestly, and I find little excuse for the amount of slack in the way informations are conveyed and, just, how nonsensical and disjointed I find the plot and the world to be overall

(I have a Post in my heart about how I think a single* fix would have done so much good to the story and actually led to a theme and to stakes and tension and characters arcs and everything this game is cruelly lacking in the narrative department)

so what i was thinking of was that before the season even starts, hollywood thinks he's gotten over the whole qb-wr-breakup thing quite well. it's been more than a year since he got traded, he got a whole season down with his new team, so he thinks it's all gucci leading up to opening week.

this confidence comes crashing down on him though when the season actually starts, and he sees lamar & obj chopping it up better than they ever did (this is just a bold prediction laced w a lil hope from me but don't mind it). it doesn't help that lamar has really good chemistry with the rest of his brand new receiver core as well, with rashod and especially that rookie zay flowers (who's already been called a "better hollywood" before). it nags at hollywood's pride to see his ex (lmao) thrive without even thinking of him, to the point where he rants to kyler whenever the ravens do something (aka hating because they're good). he tries to keep his feelings at bay until week 8, but inevitably fails once the game rolls around and lamar has that same great chemistry with his receivers (especially obj, but he's like The Notorious B.O.T.T.O.M. so it doesn't matter)

the game goes how the game goes, but after the fact, they do the ole shake hands pat on the helmet thing and hollywood is zoned out most of the time. when he gets to lamar, he tries desperately to avoid eye contact, avoid seeing the shimmering lights of victory (another bold prediction but shhhh) in lamar's eyes. lamar doesn't carry that air of somberness and melancholy that he did during the preseason game last year, he looks like he's moved on from the trade for real and something about it bothers hollywood. basically, the roles are flipped from last time and hollywood hates it lmao

this is mostly from holly's perspective but if you want i could expand a lil more on lamar's side of things (i do think this all messed holly up more than it did lamar but maybe that's my bias as a ravens fan lol)
