It feels weird to write this with a romantic relationship so Im going to make this plutonic.
Raph Leo Donnie and Mikey finding out there are the readers old pet.
🐢 Anime boy backstory 🐢
Before Draxum started the mutation process, before he got ahold of Splinter, he needed some actual test subjects. You where an average New Yorker, you went to school and had a part time job and even had some unique pets that you where very attached to.
A alligator snapping turtle, a softshell, a red eared slider and a little box turtle. Draxum took interest in you because of your pets. Huginn and Muninn where sent out to find the perfect animals to mutate, that's when you where targeted by him.
On your way home from a trip to the vet to check up on your little guys health you got jumped. There was no possible way to get out but you where not about to leave your pets. You tried to run but after being picked up by Draxum's vines you got thrown against a wall, passing out. When you woke up your beloved pets where gone.
Raphael
★ He was the one who tracked you down after Draxum told him he once was someone's pet. It was kinda awkward expanding everything to you but after introducing himself you immediately pulled him in for a hug.
★ He kinda gets protective of you. But not from other people! Just in general, you took care of him when he was small. It's only fair that he does the same for you.
★ You and Raph end up being the responsible ones in there little family. The difference between getting in trouble with You instead of Raph is that you always lecture them for at least an hour. Also you get to say stuff like "I raised you better than this."
★ You get invited to every family movie night and everyone fights over who gets to sit next to you because you always cuddle with the closest person. turtle?
Leonardo
★ The reaction he had was similar to the one in in the gif above ⬆️. Yes, he was a plane old turtle once but it took him by surprise when it came out that he was a pet.
★ He's a total lap dog towards you, and only you. There's no getting out of it. He'd walk up to you and plop himself down on your lap and look up. You always give in and give him shell stitches. It's not weird if it's from you, okay!
★ His brothers collectively agree that you are now basically his babysitter. He gets into a fair amount of trouble, imagen Raphael saying "if you don't stop I'm telling y/n!" Or being the one who now yells at him after making bad discussions instead of raph.
Donatello
★ Blank face before quietly saying "What?" He knew that he was just a regular softshell but surprisingly he never thought about where he came from before getting mutated.
★ He gives you random tests on your knowledge of softshell turtles. Like you could be folding laundry and he'd just say "what is the proper temperature for a softshell turtle enclosure?" He does this to try and figure out if you where a good pet owner. He's come to the conclusion that you where a pretty good pet owner.
★ He wonders about what could've happened if Draxum never stole him and his brothers from you. Things could've turned out way differently, the thought comes back to him every once I awhile.
★ You know things about him that nobody else knows, like where he likes to be pet on his shell. But he refused to believe you without any proof. He is only slightly embarrassed when you demonstrate for him.
Michelangelo
★ *New parent acquired* He got really excited and asked a ton of questions. Did you get him from a pet store? How much did he cost? Do you still have his old habit??? He needs to know theses things!
★ If you have any photos of him and is brothers as regular turtles he's going to ask for copy's. Don't tell anyone but he's working on a family album in his free time.
★ You are now his older sister figure, no you aren't getting out of it. He comes to you when he needs help or has a problem with something or someone. He says that he inherited your kindness even though it doesn't work that way.
★He lowkey love's it when you pamper him like he is still your pet turtle. Doesn't matter if he's a big guy now! He wants chin scratches and lap pillows. Also he makes Draxum apologize for what he did to you.

Leonardo X Fem! Reader who's short and busty
Note(s) : I sort of focused on the short and busty part, so if you want more general Headcanons I can do that.
Leonardo doesn't mind your height, he's a giant mutant turtle, he's never exactly been one to care for appearances. He knows what it's like to be judged and excluded, so even if he makes a small joke once or twice, it's never out of malice and always something you can laugh to.
Speaking of, his jokes are those sneaky ones, ones you maybe can't even tell are there until hours after the conversation. They're not so much jokes as they are funny jabs? It's strange.
Okay, so, he strikes me as the type of guy who wouldn't really look at all, he's respectful, looking away respectfully if you will, and doesn't mention your bust unless it's a conversation revolving around it.
The bare minimum, yet still, he exceeds most men.
At first when he realises you're in pain, he thinks that you must've injured yourself somehow. Maybe you lifted something too heavy, maybe you fell down the stairs.
He can't exactly figure out if you have back pain from your chest, not until you tell him directly, he's not an idiot by any means, he just doesn't really connect 'big boob = pain'
I can imagine he's one of those guys who just doesn't understand that boobs have weight to them, yes they exist I have met them, but it's less because he refused to learn and more so because... He's a mutant turtle with a mutant rat dad who's been forced to live in the sewers with three brothers, he isn't too knowledgeable on human female anatomy.
When you tell him, probably after he questions you because he's concerned. He offers a cuddle, maybe some soup and tea if April isn't busy and she can buy them for you, he doesn't know how else to help besides resting?
He probably tries to learn how to massage, which is difficult for him because, you know, only three fingers, and researches how to help back pain, both in general and in reference to a larger bust.
Leo probably wouldn't mind if you don't wear a bra around the sewer, they can get uncomfortable especially if they have wiring in them, and he thinks it's best to prioritise comfort for one's self than tip toe around what others could think.
His brothers, especially Mikey, joke all the time about the fact he managed to get you, not in a weird way, they're not jealous at all and view you as a friend, but they just find it funny because Leo is the last guy besides Donnie they expected to get a girlfriend, let alone one as nice as you.
Leo always forgets that you're together, because how could you choose him? Out of all of the guys you could fall in love with, it just so happened to be him, it confuses him, because you could've had someone normal.
Leonardo really wants to get Splinters approval, which isn't too hard because Splinter thinks you're a great girlfriend, you basically complete Leo and make it happy, it's hard to disagree against that.
You know how in schools or work places, the dress codes usually target female presenting people? Yeah, he's the boyfriend that lets you rant to him about how awful it is, and he's also the type of boyfriend to nod along and occasionally go 'That's horrible 😡'
If you ever get catcalled expect the rare moment of Leo using his mutant looks to scare people, he's basically scary boyfriend privileges, the second he steps out of the light people are screaming in fear.
He probably feels bad about it afterwards, not because he feels sympathy for the people he scared, but because he feels like a monster.

MY FIRST 2007 FIC LETS GO
LEO WITH A THERAPIST S/O
He finds your intelligance on physcology extremly facsinating,
You're able to learn so much from just examining someone's body language and expressions that it's honestly terrifying.
You won't tell him anything specific about any sessions, (Doctor paitent confidentiality and all that.), but you will ask him to hold you after work sometimes.
Being a therapist is not easy work, So sometimes you'll just need his comfort.
As a therapist, where your job is literally to listen to people, Leo will often go to you for advice or help with mental struggles or doubts he's having.
And you're always more than happy to give him your time.
If you guys are dating before he goes to Central America,
You'll be having alot of emotional talks before the trip.
He has to leave you for god knows how long after all,
And with no way to contact each other, you know it's going to be hard.
Honestly, he's kinda worried you'll find someone else while he's gone.
Just make sure you are constantly showing him the affection he deserves and validating him to make him a little less insecure,
And make sure he knows that he shouldn't feel guilty for such thoughts.
You know all to well how common intrusive or unwanted thoughts can be,
It's normal for people to have worries and doubts,
Just make sure he knows that.
The first few days after he leaves are definitly the hardest.
But when he comes back, it's hard for you to not start crying.
Leo chuckles a bit, and he'll playfully scold you for trying to push down your emotions,
You should know better considering your job Angel.
You just smacked him on the arm and whispered, "Shush you. Let me have this."
Mikey will tell Leo all about how you did your best to keep everyone happy and healthy in his absence,
Doing your job not only as a therapist, but also a member of their family.

Notes: Since my 1st random tmnt headcanons post did so well, I've decided to make another.
𖤐 Raph, Mikey and Leo would have definitely tried to flip somebody off before but because they only have 3 fingers people would just get confused on whether they're actually giving them the middle finger.
𖤐 Leo was 100% the type of kid to not/refuse to swear and say stuff like 'gosh dang it'and random crap like that. He encouraged the rest of his brothers to do so and the only one who sorta stuck to it was Mikey, whereas Raph and Donnie swear like absolute sailors (just like yours truly)
𖤐 I think Mikey and Leo are the early birds of the brothers and Donnie and Raph are the night owls.
𖤐 Leo and Donnie totally drool in their sleep.
𖤐 Leo loves to read comics, mangas, and novels. His favourite genres are fantasy and sci-fi (sometimes romance, it usually depends on his mood).
𖤐When Mikey disturbs Donnie in his lab and Donnie doesn’t want him to touch or do anything stupid in his lab, he’ll put a stupid video on one of his monitors to distract him….surprisingly it works.
𖤐 Donnie has an extremely dark sense of humour…whenever he tells a joke the room just goes silent and you can just feel the awkward tension - Mikey’s face is priceless though so it’s 100% worth it.
𖤐Mikey is a certified cat lover! He prefers them over dogs and every time when he’s out on patrol and he finds a cat, he must go up and stroke it (even if it’s hissing and has almost scratched his face of several times)…he’s just a massive softy.
𖤐 I think that Mikey is the toughest to crack in terms of emotions. Although his elder brothers are very stubborn when people try to get them to open up, Mikey always feels he has a duty to keep up his up-beat, care free persona. He knows how rough his brothers have it and he knows that he can be annoying and understands the emotional pain they’re going through so he just wants to stay happy for his brothers in order to not worry them more.
𖤐 When Donnie was learning how to drive, he was 1000% sure he ran somebody over

anytime y'all have dates, it's all carefully planned out including both of your routines so no one gets upset.
it's extremely hard for both of you to express how you feel but you both love each other extremely.
mikey 🎨:
both of you always have difficulty organizing anything-
sometimes when mikey tries to show you his new artwork, you'd always keep in it your room only for it to disappear and make you feel completely guilty for the rest of the day-
both of you have dates in a diner and anytime the music would cut out, it would be pure hell-
mikey teaching you how to draw only for you and it took about two days because you would mess up a certain shading technique.

So we all agree Leo is an insomniac because in "The Purple Jacket" he was up in the middle of the night drinking a hot beverage (coffee, tea, or cocoa) and he owns a sleep mask, right? 2012 Leo x Reader angst
★ 2012 Leo defenently has some issues talking about how he feels with anyone other than Splinter. He's convinced himself that nobody would want to listen to him. Have you met his brothers? None of them have heard the term “healthy communication”
★ I'm not saying he doesn't trust them! Because he does, more than anybody else. It's just that he doesn't trust his brothers to not make fun of him.
★ Most of the time he's too prideful to ask you for help. What if you make fun of him? Forget that. He'd rather suffer in silence than tell you what's going on.
★ It goes without saying that keeping everything in like that isn't healthy. This results in a lot of lost sleep due to overthinking. About his future, about the safety of his friends/family and ultimately about you.
★ There's definitely some self doubt in his mind that makes him think about his relationship with you. You're the most amazing human he's ever met. And Leo's just a mutant who got lucky. Why would you ever settle for him when there's so many people who can give you what he can't? You deserve a normal life...
★ Meditation is his favorite coping skill, whether he knows it of not. It helps him relax and focus his attention onto his body. Also, the quiet break from everyone is well-needed. The other, more unhealthy coping skill he has is training.
★ Not just regular training with splinter and the other turtles, but by himself. He could (and has) spent hours in the dojo practicing his form and technique. Not letting himself take a break until he's shure that if he doesn't stop he'll pass out. But usually splinter steps in before that happens.
