What’s left of the War? What I’ve lost from the war. I lost my Rival. My best friend. My sworn brother. My precious Sensei lost the ability ever to walk again. I lost everything. I couldn’t protect Guy Sensei. I couldn’t unlock the eight gates. I’m useless. I thought that I did something good. I’ve graduated from the Ninja Academy without any Ninjutsu skills. Everything that I’ve done up until now.. what was it really all for? Everything I’ve ever done is proven to be useless. I’m not worthy. Why couldn’t it have been me, the one who deserved it? Why did he have to be Neji? “Lee..” Tenten waves her right hand in front of my face innocently. “Lee... Kakashi sensei- er... I mean Kakashi- San has a mission for our team.” She slips her arms inside her silk robe. I gaze at her expression, unbelievable. How could this perfect person possibly want to be in a relationship with someone unworthy like me? What is this team without Neji? A team without Neji is not a team at all. She fixes her scrolls into precision, and I slide my eyes away from her. “Lee… let’s go”

She grip a hold of my right wrist, and I bite my bottom lips trying to hold in my emotions. “It’s going to be great! We haven’t been put on a mission for nearly two months! Isn’t it exciting! Right? Lee!”

She smiles gently. I shifted my right cheek to hold back tears. “Being home all the time isn’t very Shinobi like right?” She giggles shutting her eyes tight. I nod my head, but I could not help but to remember the pain. The faded memory of Neji’s bleeding body inside of my arms. I couldn’t hold it in any more. Neji was heaven’s perfect plan. I wasn’t worthy enough to go alongside with him. Silent tears stream down my face unexpectedly. I just couldn’t keep them in.

“Lee, what’s wrong?” Tenten’s face expression alters. I shake my head no quick stopping her from coming too close to me. “L..Lee..” Tenten pauses to step a few steps away from me. I wipe my tears away quickly and smile throwing my thumb up giving her my nice guy pose to show her that I’m Okay. She gazes at me not questioning me or asking me what’s wrong because during the War when I almost lost her. I also didn’t know that she would be the woman that I was looking forward to seeing first thing each day I wake up in the morning. The two of us walk inside of the Hokage’s HQ, and Naruto-Kun was sitting on the desk with a smile on his face. “Naruto-Kun, are you filling in Neji’s spot?” I ask. Kakashi-San's eyes light up, and Naruto-Kun quickly jumps off from the table to stand next to me. “L..Lee..” Tenten narrows her eyelids sounding slightly disappointed. “I’m sorry, Tenten.” I say quickly. “Idiot, don’t apologize to me... Apologize to Naruto-Kun.. that was not very nice...Lee” She says softly nudging my left arm a little. I slide my attention to look at Naruto-Kun who was surprisingly very quiet. “Gesumayu.,” Naruto-Kun says softly keeping his eyes down low. “Ah, Are you going to check out the Land of Rice or not?” Kakashi San says overlooking at our sad expressions. “Of course! That’s why we’re here!” Tenten reacts. Naruto Kun and I both kept both of our heads down low to hear out the mission. “It seems Sasuke is in the land of Rice; Ee don’t know the real reason why. Report as soon as you gather news.” Kakashi San says. I slide my eyes over to gaze at Naruto Kun’s missing right arm. “But Kakashi San... Naruto Kun..” I tried to say. The door behind opens gently, and Shizune San gently strolls Guy sensei inside. “Lee” Guy-sensei smiles throwing his nice guy pose. I bite my lips shaking the thought of it. I couldn’t hold it in not like this. “Why…” Tears blurred up my eyes. “Why...Guy Sensei... Why..” I shook my head No and Naruto Kun reach over with his left hand to grip onto my shoulder. “Gesumayu..” He also couldn’t help -but to break into tears. “Naruto Kun..?” I questioned his tears. “I’m sorry... Gesumayu.. I couldn’t protect..Neji” His voice trembles but I couldn’t say anything to add to that. “It’s not your fault, Naruto-Kun” Tenten stands in between us and smiles gently to pat our back. “In the end, you both protected your friends right?” She smiles. “I saved one friend.. but I couldn’t protect one..”

Naruto Kun continues. Tenten felt the need to slap the back of his head. “Naruto Kun! Do you hear yourself!?” Tenten shouts. “Tenten.” I say silently. “You’ve sacrificed so much already! Right now, you don’t even have a right arm, but because the mission involves Sasuke’s location you volunteer to go? Naruto Kun, I can’t deny that you’re an amazing Shinobi, but like Lee, you’re an Idiot! You’re even more of an Idiot because you’re younger and Naive!” Tenten crosses both of her arms tight, and Shizune san strolls Guy sensei to sit next to Kakashi San. “I’m sorry, Guy-sensei... I..I..” “Lee...You’re strong.” He says keeping his smile radiant. “I don’t understand... how..how could you smile like that..? even through so much pain.. don’t smile like that in front of me Guy Sensei!”

I broke down. I lost it. Naruto Kun stares at me speechless. Tenten unfolds her arms and pulls my right arm to exit the room. “Kakashi San, I’m sorry about this idiot, we’re on our way out to complete the Mission.”

She turns her head to wink at Kakashi San. Naruto Kun follows quickly behind. “You’ve heard about Sakura chan’s disappearance?” Naruto Kun says while exiting the gates. Tenten kept silent, but I knew of the situation. “She just went missing, without even saying a word” Naruto Kun continues. Tenten bites down her bottom lips trying her best to remain silent. “I don’t even know if she’s alright..” Naruto Kun says downheartedly. I gaze at him, and I remembered the last person that Sakura-San made contact with was with Tenten. “She didn’t even say Good Bye..” Naruto Kun says sadly under his breath. Tenten chuckles and smiles gently towards Naruto Kun’s face direction. “Naruto Kun, you’re a good friend,”

She says. I smiled and thought this over. He really is a great friend. Our feet finally reached the borders of The Land of Rice. “This is it, Sasuke must be here!” Naruto Kun shouts. Tenten narrowed her eyelids, and we both watched as Naruto Kun blitz down before us. “Be Careful Naruto Kun! There are Paper Bombs below you!” Tenten shouts pulling out her scripts shouting “Tobigudo!” (*flying tool*) Her multiple kunais stopped to hit the paper bombs before Naruto Kun landed. “Ahhhhhh! Warn me next time Tenten San!!!!”

Naruto Kun shouts overreacting. A Kunai cuts through Naruto’s chest, and I jumped back. “Naruto Kun!” Tenten shouts pulling back another script. Naruto Kun Disappears in a poof. “A Shadow Clone..? But then how..?” I say silently confused because Naruto Kun only had one hand to form Ninja jutsus. “Lee! Behind you!” Tenten pulls out her scrolls to summon a protective wall to block the flying kunais. Naruto Kun jumps above us and forms jutsu’s with only using his pinky fingers and middle finger. “Kagebunshin no jutsu!” He shouted. The Bandits were attacking the three of us once. “W..Who are you guys!?” I shout. “We’re no one important, but hand us the scroll girl.” He breathes heavily under his gas mask. “What!?!” I turn back to look over behind my right shoulders. The sound ninja forms a seal around Tenten’s body. “Don’t touch her!!” I shout blitzing over towards the man with the purple gas mask. “TENTEN!!!” I shouted. “L..Lee..” She says softly closing her eyes. “Naruto Kun!!!!!! Don’t stop fighting them!! I’m going after the one who took Tenten!!” I scream over the remaining members. “Gesumayu! Gesumayu!! Hold on! Don’t act before you think!”

Naruto Kun Jumps in front of me to block me from attempting to go after them. “Naruto Kun, I’m sorry! I leave the mission with Sasuke Kun to you”

I push his right shoulders to blitz after the man who took Tenten. “Gesumayu!!!!!!” Naruto Kun reacts. His eyes turned color, and I knew that I must’ve upset him from doing so. “Stop running!!!!!!” Naruto Kun shouts out angrily. I pause to turn back to look at his struggle. How could I’ve been so selfish when I already knew how difficult it must’ve been for Naruto Kun to fight those nin Ninjas on his own. If he had both hands, He’d mop the floor with them already without blinking or losing an eyelash. At least my conscience is sane enough to turn back. Naruto Kun’s face expression shifted. I jumped back and stood again to back to back with Konoha’s future Hokage. “Naruto Kun, I’m sorry about that-” I say. The Wind blew in our faces and Naruto Kun Smiles.

“Gesumayu, At least you came back.”

He shuts his eyes and we both attacked. “Goken Fist!” I shouted punching the nin Ninja’s gas mask to fly off. “Gesumayu, how are you doing behind there!?” Naruto Kun asks to check. “Kage Buyo!” I shouted winking my eyes to Naruto Kun spinning down and when we landed, I shouted out;

“Konoha Daisenpu!” I release my arm bandages to wrap around the opponent, and Naruto raises his eyebrows to glance at me. I jumped back and touched Naruto Kun’s shoulders, and he breathes heavily. “Let’s split up,” I say attempting to leave Naruto Kun to the mission alone now that the numbers of enemies has shorten. "Gesumayu, Mission Abandoned” He says. I narrowed my eyebrows and leaned over to stare into his face. “This is an S- Rank Mission, Naruto Kun- you never turn down S- Rank Missions.” I reminded him. “Gesumayu, this mission involves Sasuke, Sasuke can take care of himself. I’m not sure where Sakura-Chan’s whereabouts are.. but what I do know is right now, what’s important is.. is getting Tenten San back... She’s my friend too...” Naruto Kun says. “Y..You mean..” I shattered my voice a little bit surprised. “Y..You would abandon an S-Rank Mission..to save... Tenten?” Tears blurred up my eyes and Naruto Kun slanted a crooked smile. “Co’mon, we already got done crying, let’s go.” He says reaching his left arms to wrap around my shoulders. “Plus, I already know what Sasuke’s probably up to- I think” He laughs. We quickly jump through the trees and bump into team 8. “N...Naruto-Kun..” Hinata’s face lights up, and Shino stood back to back with Kiba. “Reinforcements?” I questioned. “Nah, we were just around and overheard, but if you’re really looking for reinforcements.. then..” Kiba smirked a slanted smile. “Take a look around you” Shino finishes what Kiba was saying. Shikamaru stood still with Choji opening a bag of potato chips, a flavor I hadn’t seen before. “What’s this!?” Naruto Kun reacts, but his eyes lighten up. Sai’s beast fly over us and Ino waves her right hands up to shout,

“Hey, You guys!” “We got information from Kakashi that you guys probably needed back up, because these Nin Ninja’s aren’t actually human” Shikamaru explains. “W..Whaaaat!?!!! then what exactly are they!?!!” Naruto Kun reacts hiding behind me hugging me tightly. “S...Shikamaru..Shikamaru.. They...They’re not.. They’re not.. G..Ghost’s are they!?!!” Naruto Kun shuts his eyes tightly. Everyone mumbles but laughter surrounded the area. Shikamaru exhales and shook his head No. Naruto Kun let’s go of me, and I could finally breathe. “But they’re already dead- though” Shikamaru adds. “Whaaaaaatttt!?!!!!” Naruto Kun Reacts jumping up and down on the branch. “N...Naruto Kun..” Hinata said softly trying to reach out her right hand over to gently touch him.

She pulls her arm back and hides behind Kiba and Shino. “The location where they’ve taken Tenten is 31 miles away from this location” Shino says emotionlessly. “31 miles, got it” Ino shouts from above. “Sai!! What about me!”

Naruto Kun shouts lifting up his face to make eye contact with Sai. Sai smiles and pulls out his scroll to draw out something for Naruto Kun. Naruto Kun’s eyes light up and hop up and down excitedly waiting for the painting to come to life. “Naruto Kun, You get…”

Sai says as he releases his “Nippon..Kame no Jutsu.” Everyone laughs and I tried my best to hold in the laughter from Naruto Kun’s current reaction. “Sai!! What the heck is this!?!!!” Naruto Kun reacts stomping on the tree branch Sai smiles and pretends not to know. “It’s a Turtle, Naruto Kun”

I say. “ I know it's a TURTLE!! Gesumayu!! I’m saying why did Sai draw me a Turtle!! and not a BIRD BEAST!!” Naruto Kun shouts over his disappointment. Everyone shared soft laughter, and Kiba slides down to hop over towards us. “I kinda miss this feeling,” Kiba says nudging Naruto Kun a little. “Naruto, are you going to keep complaining about the turtle or are you going to save Tenten. I’m directed to split the group. Half of you will continue Kakashi’s Mission in locating where Sasuke’s current location is. Many of you will have to find out where Sakura also went. This is the conclusion of today’s reinforcements.” Shikamaru exhales. “It’s such a Draaag.. but Team 7 is always doing something like this..” Naruto Kun narrows his eyes and walks passed Shikamaru to brush his shoulders against Shikamaru’s. “You know.. About the turtle, I can forgive you. About saving Tenten, I will go along with Gesumayu.. but where you’re going with Sasuke and Sakura Chan’s absence... About Team 7... That.. I won’t let go easily.” Naruto Kun blitz passed everyone, and I quickly jump after him.

“Naruto Kun!”

I shouted looking behind me. Shikamaru rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “Shikamaru.,” Choji says softly.

Sai releases the Turtle and transforms it into a gigantic tiger to run after us. “Sai, I don’t need it no more” Naruto Kun comments. Ino raises her eyebrows and Sai follows behind us anyway. “Naruto Kun, The tiger fits you more even though I would draw you a fox but .. I don’t have enough chakra for that”

Says Sai.

“Naruto! Please! It was a joke! We’re really sorry! I was the one who told him to do it! Sai really cares about you!” Ino shouts over Sai’s shoulders. “Naruto Kun.” I said softly trying to get his attention but not to upset him more than he already is. “I’m on it” Naruto Kun hops on, and I jump of behind it. Shikamaru stretched out his shadow to stop Sai’s tiger from continuing.

“I didn’t say “Go,” Shikamaru says. Naruto Kun scoffs irritatedly breaking away from the shadow jutsu and running away. “Choji”

Shikamaru says. “I’m on it”

Choji says “Bubun Baika no Jutsu!”

His arms enlarge and grab hold of Naruto Kun from escaping. “C..Cho..Choji!!!”

Naruto Kun struggles to move around. Shikamaru exhales and shakes his head.

“Naruto, I didn’t see it before but... You’re easily offended. I’m sorry.”

Shikamaru says snapping his fingers.

“Hinata will join you, Sai, Lee, and Ino to search for Tenten, you’ll be needing her Byakugan”

He moves his left hand, and Hinata quickly catches up. Naruto Kun avoids what Shikamaru was saying but doesn’t complain about it.

“Everyone else, we’re continuing to the Land of Rice”

Shikamaru gives out the signal and releases his shadow jutsu. Naruto Kun stood in front of Hinata, and Sai releases his tiger into a gigantic heart-shaped 3D figure. Hinata’s eyes light up, and Naruto Kun turns around to notice the Tiger transformed into a heart. I couldn’t hold this one in. I had to laugh. Kiba, Shino, and Shikamaru turned back and shook their head No. Choji bites into his chips but commented. “How Romantic” He gives a thumbs up towards the situation. Kiba laughs and throws soft jokes, but he was too far that we couldn’t hear him. “Sai, you jerk!”

Naruto Kun blushes from the embarrassment.

“Uh... I..I didn’t mean..”

He continues. Hinata’s face lights up, and I realize how difficult the mission might've become. When I look at Hinata San... The face that I see is no other but Neji’s. My heart sink, and I couldn’t do anything to avoid that. “Lee-Kun?” Hinata taps the back of my back blade to point out that Naruto Kun had made the first start. Sai releases a painting.

“Nippon Okami no Jutsu” He says releasing the flow of his paintbrush. The beautiful creature lands before me, and I slide my eyes to lock eyes with him. “S...Sai Kun..” I felt sudden desolation. “L..Lee Kun..” Hinata trembles to say. “R..Right, You go on ahead to catch up with Naruto Kun, I’m fast either way so... I’ll catch up to him quick.” I shut my eyes and give her a thumbs up. “L..Lee Kun..I’m sorry..” Hinata San’s eyes stare down to her fingers.

I kept my eyes away from gazing at her. “L..Lee Kun... I’m sorry. About Neji Nii..” Tears slide down from her left eyes, and I felt my heart sink down. Did she see through me? How? I don’t blame her. Not at all, but my mouth could not alter a sound. I’m hurt as I am already. Naruto Kun quickly made it back. “Gesumayu! Hinata!!!!!” He shouts grabbing hold of Hinata’s left arms to pull her in front of him. “Gesumayu, if you’re going to hate anyone for Neji’s death, hate me instead. I was closest to Neji at the time. Hinata’s..not at fault.” Naruto Kun gently pushes her to hide behind him. I blink my eyes and softly chuckled. “Naruto Kun, I admire your effort to come back because of that.” I say softly jumping in front of them. “I can’t waste time here; I’m going ahead.” I say avoiding Sai’s wolf painting. The Wolf painting chases me regardless, and it wouldn’t stop. I look up to Sai and Ino shook her head. “The painting was assigned for you Lee-San, and only you”

Ino informs me. “Once Sai’s chosen the art to the person, the art will only abide to that person.” Ino shuts her eyes and gives me a thumbs up. Its unusual for a woman to throw the nice guy pose but that means that she trusts me. I blinked my eyes and slanted a crooked smile. “Thank You, Sai Kun... Ino San..”

I pause to hop on the wolf painting. “Hinata, Let’s go.” Naruto Kun lock fingers with her and Sai turn back to alter the shape of the flying heart. “Sai... I’ll get you for this” Naruto Kun says narrowing his eyelids. Sai Kun smiles but shrugs his shoulders to open both of his arms. Naruto Kun stood on the painting first, and then Hinata struggles to get on. Naruto Kun pulled her up with his left hand and stood in horse stance to hold his balance. Hinata sits on her knees, and I felt guilt sinking inside me. I’m awful. I could save Tenten alone, I’m sure. I thought of speeding up even faster to lose them, but if they were sent by Kakashi San then it would be the same as crossing the Hokage’s line. I exhale feeling slightly bothered by the whole grouping. “Lee San...” Ino says from above. Sai exchanges a soft smile. I slide my eyes over to gaze at her light blue eyes. “You love her, don’t you?” She grips her hold around Sai’s waist tighter. I smile back and look at her with intense vibration. “Of course” I say softly biting my bottom lips really meaning it. “Then, we won’t fail this mission.” Ino san says leaning her head against Sai’s back exchanging soft smiles. “I wonder how that feels, to love someone more than to love yourself”

Sai comments softly smiling. Ino San push back and release her arms from wrapping around him to pout. “Sai! So if I were to be kidnapped, you wouldn't save me!?” Ino grip onto his shoulders shaking him back and forth. “Why should I?” Sai comments gently with his usual soft smile. “Sai!! You JERK!!!!” Ino shouts. I shifted my right cheek but kept my emotions inside. “I mean.. you’re strong .. so why would I have to come and save you.. when you can save yourself..flower..” Sai says turning around to grip onto both of her wrists to tame her from continually hitting him. “Y..You’re still a JERK!” Ino San reacts angrily. I felt awful. I know precisely how Sai Kun feels. I thought the same towards Tenten. She’s strong; there’s no way that she would need my help. There’s something wrong with our thinking when we think or believe that women are strong. They’re still women, and we’re still men. I need to let Sai Kun know that before he loses his white flower. “Sai Kun..?” I say softly. I slide my eyes over my shoulders to notice his struggle holding onto Ino san’s grip. “She’s still a girl.” I say. Sai Kun slides his eyes to lock eyes with me. “Sai Kun... No matter how strong she is... She’s still a woman and Men are to protect Women... No matter how strong she is... She’s still a woman, and that won’t ever change.” I waved my right hand and tried to speed up towards the location. Sai Kun smiles and pulls Ino closer to his chest to hear his heart. “Do you hear that?” He kisses her forehead, and I avoided the feeling. “I don’t hear anything!” Ino San pretends. “This is my heartbeat” He leaned in closer to her. “Nope,” Ino san pushes back and crosses both of her arms. “Flower, my heart speaks, and it beats only for you.”

He says softly trying to calm her down. Ino san shakes her head No refusing to look at Sai Kun. “B...Because of you... I can feel comfort..” He turns around to continue to look out in front of him. I looked over my right shoulders and smiled softly. What was I thinking, I remember now... I remember what it’s like to have this much support. The people around me are not on this mission because they’re getting paid. They’re on this mission because.. They’re my friends. Naruto Kun and Hinata San made it to the hidden caves 31 miles in front of us. Sai lands and releases the Bird painting. He catches Ino inside his arms and softly chuckled. Ino San blinks her eyes, but the look on her face showed remaining disappointment in him. I shifted my right cheek and walked between Naruto Kun and Hinata San. “Be careful... L..Lee Kun..” Hinata pauses him from continuing. I paused, but my veins were speaking to me to enter without hesitation. “L..Lee Kun, there are 3 surrounding Tenten San, 2 Male and one Female.” She exhales, and I nod my head rushing inside. “ Hold on Lee Kun! there’s 5 Jounin blocking the exits!” Hinata San shouts.

“5,...I promise to bring Tenten back.” I recklessly enter, and Naruto Kun overreacts. “Gesumayu! I told you to use your head!” Naruto Kun shouts as he blitzes through with a similar act, and I laughed. “Use our Heads? Naruto Kun? Is that even illegal?” I joked. Naruto Kun’s eyes enlarge, and we both shared similar laughter. Hinata San, Ino, and Sai silently walks in. I stand back to back with Naruto Kun expecting the opponents to attack. “H..Hinata..” Naruto says softly sliding his eyes around the area. “Byakugan!”

She shouts observing the area. “Naruto Kun, Lee Kun... Tenten is 3 feet further than where we’re standing, Sai Kun, Ino San... We’ll attack the remaining men. G..Go on without us!” She struggles to scream. “Heh, Hinata..” Naruto Kun’s tone in speaking shifted. “I.. I just can’t leave you alone to fight these jerks alone, they’re capable of turning into Gas and disappearing the next second.” Naruto Kun informs her sounding sincerely. “I don’t think that even you could..” Naruto Kun pauses. “Naruto! Who do you think Hinata is!?!! She’s strong!” Ino San frets with steam beaming from her head.

I quickly grip onto Naruto Kun’s left arm and slanted a crooked smile. “Naruto Kun, Hinata’s strong because she’s been keeping an eye on a strong person for a very long time.” I say thinking about the short faded memories of when Neji used to tell me about Hinata’s emotions and how he supports her with her decisions. “Who’s that person? Neji?” Naruto Kun comments.

I break a sweat, and a thought slides down my spine. “Is he… for real?” We reached the heart of the cave, and the Nin Ninja’s surrounds Tenten’s body blocking us from entering. “Gotta San, how do you want us to handle these guys?”

A young Girl’s voice speaks from under the gas mask. “So you’re a Girl after all.” I say noticing the attire from before. She’s the one who took Tenten from before. “So what if I am? You - a gentleman?” She jumps out to stand before me. I slide my eyes over to look at Naruto Kun. “What of it? You can’t fight me because I’m a girl huh?” She continues to whine. I blinked my eyes and narrowed my eyebrows. I shook my head No. “I’ll take any opponent down as long as they’re strong enough, You’re not worth konohagakure whirlwind.” I smirk avoiding her directly hopping over her to save Tenten. The leader or Taichou pushes his hand before me and turns into Gas and wrapped Gas around binding my right leg. I jump back, and the little girl attacks me from the behind. I flip back, and she punches the wall leaving a crack. “Oou.. for a girl, you’re not a joke.” I acknowledge her strength. “I apologize for underestimating you, Girl- Chan,” I say stepping back to make room. She rushes towards me with her right hands disappearing and becoming Gas.

“Interesting, I’ve never seen a Jutsu like that before.” I commented jumping back quickly avoiding her gas punches. I cover my mouth because if this is their jutsu and they’re wearing Masks, then it must be poison of some sort. I have to be careful. I turn my eyes to notice Naruto Kun’s Opponent. An Opponent that we both had history with before. “Is that... Bone- Kun?” I say squinting my eyes to see him clearer. “Your Opponent is me!” She shouts charging at me transforming her right legs into gas constantly stomping on me. I dodged roll quickly to notice her kicks have ripped my jumpsuit and the gas made my skin turn purple. “I see, so your jutsu is dangerous” I commented. I watch her charge at me and this time with my hands I caught her left foot and released my bandages around her. “What are you doing! You pervert!!”

She frets. “This is the shadow of the dancing leaves, Girl- Chan” I say flipping her over keeping a strand of a bandage to bind my mouth from accidentally inhaling the toxicated gas from her right hands. “Y..You Jerk!!” She frets struggling to release herself from my binding. She transforms into Gas and disappears leaving me at a fatal fail. “I’ll get you for that!” She screams running towards me with her left hand balled up. Her Taichou grips a hold of her wrist and shook his head No.

“The Scroll girl is of no use.” His voice enters my eardrums and I felt heat rush through my veins. “The Scroll Girl..” That Voice... I remember. He’s the one that stayed back to fight Naruto Kun and me. He’s the one behind this. I narrowed my eyebrows and shouted. “What do you want from Tenten!!” I rush over and Bone- Kun dash to block me from attacking the Taichou. “So we meet again” He speaks. I stared into his lonely eyes and avoided his existence. “Move! That is not important!” I knife hand him from all over direction, and he blocked all of my hand motion. “Move!!" I shouted. This time tears fell from my left eye. I couldn't keep away from Tenten anymore. She’s right in front of me. If I lose her.. I would be nothing. I lost Neji. I can’t lose Tenten. “Take a look around you, none of whom came with you made it to this floor.” He says. I slide my eyes to observe behind me. “N...Naruto Kun..” I shook my head not believing what I’m seeing. “It’s futile, believe me. He’s too weak to take me on” He says pulling out a bone from his left shoulder. “Naruto Kun Weak..? Heh.. I never heard that one before.” I say stepping a few steps back. “Kimimaro Kun, enough.” The taichou says pausing him from continuing. “This Scroll girl is of no use” He says. “Kimimaro Kun Huh, Nice to acquaintance you again Bone- Kun.” I say rushing towards him to perform my Dynamic Entry. He caught my right ankle and I test my right hip to kick him with my left foot. He steps back and pulls out the second bone from his other shoulder. “Your fighting style, that’s right. You’re that taijutsu user. What was it again.. Green Beast of Konoha..Tch” He charges at me, and I cross block and continually look over my right shoulders to see if Naruto Kun would awake. I kick his left jaw, and his eyes showed no slight change. “Why!?!” I shouted from the frustration. “Why does it have to be Tenten!?” I continuously throw knife hand swings at him, and he rolled his green eyes over to observe Tenten. He blinked his eyes and narrowed them. “ I don’t know the reason. I’m just a tool.” He recites what he previously said when Gaara Kun and I both tried to defeat him. I gaze at him noticing the multiple pain that he must be enduring. “Why do you call yourself a tool?” I question constantly blocking his bone marrow swings. He shuts his eyes, and I step back to catch my breath. “Because I’m not important,” He says. I stare at him, and this time I refused to fight back. “You’re wrong.” I say gripping a hold of his bone marrow sword. He breaks it and pulls out another bone from his back spine. “I’ve only known to kill, and that’s what I live for. I’m a mere weapon. If I’m not a weapon, then I’m the same as nothing.” he says emotionless. “Shut Up” I turn over my right shoulder to look at Naruto Kun’s change in chakra cloak. “Shut Up about this I’m nothing talk and GET REAL!” Naruto Kun blitz over towards Kimimaro Kun and they clashed. I step back avoiding the two who were more compatible with fighting each other. I blitz over towards their taichou and he pushes me back from getting closer to Tenten. “ I don’t understand!” I shouted continually throwing swings at him. “ True, this scroll girl is of no use... but so are you and your friends.” I look over my shoulder to see Naruto Kun’s struggle to keep up because of only having one hand. “What’s with you! Old man!?!!” I shouted releasing the 5th gate without no control. His eyes enlarge, and he pulls off his gas mask to toss it aside. “What!!” I shouted “Has!” I twirled. “Tenten!” I shouted. “Done to You!!!” Steam came from my feet and I constantly hurricane leaf kick him. “What is wrong with you!?!” I shouted non stop. He spits out blood and then I heard the little girl scream. “Gotta San!! Gotta San!! Nooooo!!!” She shakes her head unable to see him in pain. “Please! Stop!!!!!!” She cries. She reveals her face, but I continuously kick him. She rushes towards me to wrap her fragile body around him. “Don’t Hurt him No more!!” She cries. I push her to the left side hard, and then I hear something from the background. “Lee... when you release the 5th gates.. remember that you still have a conscience.” Guy sensei’s words echoed in my head. I float into the darkness not knowing what I’m doing outside of this mind of mine. “Please STOP!!!!” She repeats. “Y..Yukimi.Chan..” His voice breaks and someone jumps on me to hug me from continuing. My skin returned to normal, and my eyes start to blur. Naruto Kun defeated Kimimaro Bone Kun with no slight injury, but he refuses to lose his left arm. Sai Kun gently places me on a bird, and Ino San heals the remaining injuries. Kimimaro Kun alters his lips with a similar name. “J..Jugo..” His eyes close, and Naruto Kun frets over this. “ I’m a murderer!! Ahhhhhh!! I didn’t mean it!! I’m sorry!!” Naruto Kun shouts. Hinata San smiled and observed the enemy with her Byakugan. “T...There’s no guilt in this fight... Naruto Kun.. Lee Kun... Everyone.. they’re already ..Dead..even from before..” She says biting her bottom lips. Naruto Kun enlarges his eyes and then stare at the little girl. “Ehhhhhh!?!! Then.. Ho..How… I mean Shikamaru told us that... But h..how!?!” Naruto Kun backs away from the little girl to hide behind Hinata San. “W..We’re just fragments of what used to be real..” Tears slide down from the little girl's' eyes. “We wanted to be real, and we wanted to be whole again.. knowing that the chances are not very... possible..” She trembled. Sai Kun and Ino San flew out away with me, but Naruto Kun and Hinata remain. “I.. I don’t understand?” Naruto Kun speaks. She cries, and her tears drip over her Taichou face. “Gotta San..” She shakes sitting herself crawled up folding her arms around her legs. “Gotta San... Wa..Wake Up.. you said that being alive again was possible!!!” Her face was covered in tears, and Hinata reverted her Byakugan to listen. “Huh?” Naruto Kun enlarges her eyes. “Y.You promised!!” She cries over and over again. The Taichou moves his fingers a little, and Naruto Kun walk over towards him. “Say, Old man..” Naruto Kun begins to speak. His eyes glide over to gaze at the crying little girl. “I don’t know what this little girl- chan is saying but.. here’s some ointment to heal your wounds.” Naruto Kun opens his right leg pocks to hand him the ointment. The little girl’s eyes light up, and Hinata San smiles before her. “Take it.” Hinata san says patting her head gently. “W..Why!?!! Why are you so nice to us!?!!” She shouts with remaining tears in her eyes. Naruto Kun slides his eyes to gaze at Kimimaro and then back at Getto. “Dead or not, you can still feel.. I guess... that’s what matters..” Naruto Kun says. “Naruto Kun... Let's Go!” Hinata says softly in the background. The little girl watches as Naruto Kun and Hinata wave goodbye. Kimimaro moves his right foot a little and slowly tried to stand himself up. “K..Kid.. Brat..” He begins to say trembling from losing too much blood. Naruto Kun slanted a crooked smile in relief. “I’m glad you’re alive.” Naruto Kun watches him stand up, and Hinata San smiles softly at this moment. “About..what you said before.. about being a tool.. me not being important... me being..nothing but a mere tool.. when you told me.. to shut up..I thought for one second that.. the dumb would speak.. but.. when I was fading into the darkness... I realized.. that you.. were the one.. along with... S..Sasuke kun.. was the one.. to truly..end..our Kaguya..clan.” He finishes, and a soft tear slides down from Naruto Kun’s left eye. “Y..You know.. If things weren’t this bad between us... we..we could have.. been friends..” Naruto Kun breaks into tears, and Hinata San hides her face from looking at him. “D...Don’t..G..Get S...Sensitive with me..you..brat..” He says breathing heavily. The Little girl rushes towards Naruto Kun and hugs his waist. “Y..You’re a lot taller but..I know now..without a doubt.. that my little brother Tenzo.. and you have a connection!” She smiles. Getto Taichou sat up slowly and coughed up the reasons behind why they kidnapped Tenten, to begin with. “the reason is because we thought that this scroll girl would have answers to where Tenzo is” He exhales. “Tenzo is Yukimi’s younger brother.. and he was.. one of our Iburi clan..” He continues. Naruto Kun and Hinata San listened but wave them their good byes. When I awake, I was inside Konoha’s Hospital, and I look around my surrounding. I’m here again. I thought. The person performing healing ninjutsu was surprisingly Sakura San. “S...Sakura-San..” I say feeling embarrassed that my green jumpsuit torn open revealing my body. “Welcome back, Lee San” She smiles. I look behind her and Sasuke Kun sit by the window slanting a soft smile. “T...Tenten..” I say softly biting my bottom lips. “D...Did..” Tears slide down from my left eye. “Tenten, you say?” Sakura San’s face lights up, and Sasuke Kun jumps from the window to pull the hospital curtain to tug on to Tenten’s sleeves to rail her closer. “You mean this thing?” Sasuke Kun comments with his usual emotionless tone in speaking. I enlarge my eyes and tears blurred my eyes. “Tenten!!” I shouted with happiness lifting the blankets off of me to attempt to run towards her. I fell back, and Sakura San shook her head No. Tenten worries but pushes Sasuke Kun back from tugging onto her sleeves. “Sasuke Kun, These are my new pair!” Tenten shouts softly elbowing him. Sasuke Kun exhales and pretends to pull out a book to read. “L..Lee..” Tenten says wrapping her right palms over my forehead to check my temperature. Sasuke Kun and Sakura San both step outside, and I notice soft chattering from outside. Tenten kisses my forehead and shook her head No. Everyone walk inside and Kiba crossed his arms standing back to back with Shino Kun. Shikamaru Kun and Choji Kun slowly walk inside. I bite my bottom lips, and Sai Kun and Ino San stood on a bird by the window to wave over. Naruto Kun and Hinata San struggles to climb up the Hospital WIndow. “Coming through the hard way? NARUTO??” Shikamaru scoffs and everyone chuckles. I laughed a little until Naruto Pulled Hinata from the window. “NARUTO!! Don’t GET HER TO DO Things You’ll do!!” Kiba reacts, and laughter grew louder in the room. For this moment I felt relieved. “Sasuke Kun and Sakura San are back in the village.. that must mean..” I begin to say “Mission accomplished” Shikamaru smirks. “Tenten’s back too; Love is an S-RANK Mission.” Kiba comments. Laughter surrounded the room again and for this moment. I wanted to pause this forever. Just a minute longer. Just a second longer. Just the thought of this much laughter. Shared inside the same room. Under the same ceiling. Going through similar pain. I just want to pause it and forget the play and forward button. I’d rewind this moment forever but not the pain of losing Tenten. That, I would never want to experience again. “When I was unconscious.. who stopped me?” I questioned. Tenten hit my head and lean in closer. “Who else but me?” She giggles. Everyone looks at each other and then Shino pause the moment to say. “Don’t look at me, I’m only interested in Female Insects” We Laughed together even longer and from this day on. I vow to get even stronger. That is my Ninja way.
