The Moon is now out of bounds until Jan 8th 2023 from 06°19 ♊ to 06°39' ♌

"Out of bounds" is a term coined by Kt Boehrer who studied these extreme and "beyond ordinary" celestial bodies for decades and pioneered this astrological study. Other than the Moon; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, and a few asteroids can and do go out of bounds. Of these, the most significant one to watch is the Moon.

Kt Boehrer found that the out of bounds Moon in the natal chart often correlates with an unusual, extreme, or extraordinary upbringing in some way. This early programing has a profound effect on the individual that tends to manifest as an exceptional drive for success and/or security. These people may hold themselves to unusually high standards, experience intense emotions, and/or find themselves in relation with extraordinary femmes/lunar-influenced people.

The Moon can be found out of bounds in: ♉♊♋♌♏♐♑♒, but will most often be found OOB in ♊♋♐♑ as these signs are closest to the solstice points which is where the Sun reaches its maximum declination of 23°26' (depending on the century).

It is important to remember that the out of bounds condition is related to OUR PERSPECTIVE ON EARTH - specifically Earth's obliquity (tilt on its axis). Like retrogrades, the Moon isn't doing wonky moves in its orbit just like Mercury isnt actually moving backwards in its orbit - its our unique perspective that gives us this condition to observe.

School is still in session on the 7th of July in England, the youngest in the year are usually people born in late August, so Nina/Joy are definitely among the youngest, because the cut off is the beginning of September. The UK is weird about people with bigger age gaps being in the same year, which is why people aren’t often held back as they are in the US. Oh! And also, what are your birthday/star sign head canons?

First of all, being in school during the month of July sounds like a cruel and unusual punishment and no one should be subjected to that. Second of all, listen, I'm just going off the information that was given to me. And clearly someone messed up because given what logically makes sense, if Nina and Joy should be the youngest, then Amber and Eddie should not have 1995 birthdays, and yet they do. So those fall birthdays should probably actually be 1994, however, they're not, so I'm gonna go with the unlikely-yet-plausible theory that somehow Nina and Joy got held back as like kindergartners and are actually the oldest. Yes, I know, doesn't make the most sense in the world but I'm working with the information I have. You may disagree, but I am holding firm because it's how my brain can make sense of the information I have been given.

And I have more detailed and fun headcanons about birthdays upcoming in a later post that I'll do in just a bit, but I will totally give a quick overview of my birthday/star sign headcanons for everyone. I've posted about the characters and what I think their astrology is before, but I will happily do it again. Along with star signs I've actually picked out specific birthdates for everyone, too, just for the fun of it because I wanted to.

Canon birthdays: there are 4 of them. I didn't choose these, they're canon, that's just what they are. Nina and Joy's birthday is obviously July 7, which makes them Cancers ♋. Amber's birthday is September 9, which makes her a Virgo ♍ (which btw is what I would've picked for her even if they didn't tell us her canon birthday). And Eddie's birthday is November 19, which makes him a Scorpio ♏

Patricia's birthday is either August 12 or December 8, which means she's either a Leo or a Sagittarius (both of which are fire signs, appropriately). As a Leo, I can tell you she is absolutely not a Leo, she is definitely a Sagittarius ♐ and her birthday is December 8th

Now we get into my headcanons. This is just what I personally believe all of them are, along with the birthdays I gave them just because. All based on ~vibes~. I'm gonna list these in age order. Also if any of you want specific reasons for why my choices are what they are, do feel free to ask, but I'm not gonna do it in this post

Mara is a Libra ♎. She definitely got fall vibes to me. Specifically October vibes, which is why I've made her birthday October 6th

Fabian is absolutely a Capricorn ♑ and everything about this boy just SCREAMS Capricorn. And he's totally one of those people that's born around Christmas and is really grumpy about it, so I've made his birthday December 23rd

KT is an Aquarius ♒ and her birthday is January 29th. She's definitely a January Aquarius and not a February Aquarius

Willow is 1000000000% a Pisces ♓ and for whatever reason she has winter birthday vibes to me so I've made her birthday February 24th

Mick is an Aries ♈ and he was giving me March vibes so his birthday is March 30th

Alfie is also an Aries ♈. And once I realized he was an Aries, I knew I absolutely had to make his birthday April Fool's Day (April 1st). I mean, it's fate

Jerome is definitely for sure a Gemini ♊ in my book, 100%. I gave him the birthday of June 11th, which funnily enough is also Eugene Simon's actual birthday, and I swear I didn't know this when I picked it, I swear, the cards just landed perfectly

Now, a confession...tbh one of the reasons I firmly believe the "Nina and Joy are the oldest" theory is because the idea of Jerome as the youngest is so incredibly fucking funny to me

eventually, we arrived at the venue.

i thanked robert once more, said bye to him and his partner, then off i went.

i strolled over to the snack bar and grabbed a soda from a bucket of ice.

i looked around, noticed familiar faces, but nothing too special.

it was crowded, that’s for sure

too many people, too much perfumes, it was just too much.

i decided to go outside.

it was nicer anyways.

you could still hear the beat of whatever song was playing.

i didn’t notice the pair of eyes watching me.

“you think so? i just...couldn’t get a dress on time. plus, it’s not prom or anything, it can’t hurt.”

you laughed.

a soft, gentle sound i didn’t think i’d hear for myself.

by the way it sounded, you didn’t mean any rude intention at all.

“at least someone agrees. spring dances or whatever aren’t too important at this point. don’t you think dresses are too outdone anyways?” you questioned me.

i nodded, “some are alright, i guess.”

you hummed in agreement.

yes, even though i did like you a lot, you were so easy to talk to. it was relaxing, something i didn’t think i’d acheive this night.

“i must say, you’re outfit is quite unique.” i told you, out of truthfulness.

“thank you... i got a mate that does this type of stuff. he knows about my liking for dragons.”

“right, you’re the one with that dragon telecaster, aren’t you?”

i knew the answer. didn’t hurt to ask again though.

“yep, that’s mine. designed it myself. pretty lil’ thing, isn’t it?”

i laughed at your wording, it was cute.

“you designed it? it really is stunning... i like it a lot.” i complemented you.

“thank you. so, you know about the band, i’m guessing?” you had asked.

“yeah, robert’s my friend. plus, i’ve seen you around school enough.” i laughed.

you laughed again too.

“never thought i’d get to talk to you, though.” i mentioned.

somehow, it didn’t feel awkward to tell you that. you didn’t feel judgemental.

“percy talks about you a lot, always tells me how we should talk. never really saw you around until he told me where he saw you run off to.”

“is that so?” i looked at you, giving you a questioning look.

you nodded, “yeah, i wanted to talk to you even before he mentioned you. we had classes together, you seemed interesting.”

this caused me to blush, “that’s funny. we both wanted to talk to each other, had classes each year, and are now just talking outside of school.”

“it is funny, i guess! to be fair, we aren’t outside of school though. if we leave, we can be.” you looked over at me again, as you indirectly asked me to leave with you.

“let’s leave then, shall we?” i said, to which you agreed.

we walked to your somewhat fancy car.

“wanna go to the diner?” you asked.

“please. that soda makes my throat dry.”

i stole so many glances at you, you did the same.

there was a tension in the air.

yet, this all felt so natural.

like we had known each other forever.

we had more small talk over our late snack at the diner.

we drank our milkshakes, shared some fries, the left.

it was fairly late, we didn’t know what to do.

but god, the tension was still floating in the air.

“it’s late... do you wanna go home or..?” you asked, sweetly.

i didn’t want this to end. not yet, at least.

“my parents would probably get mad if i bardge into my house this late. so uh, i really don’t know.” i trailed off.

“i know we literally just started talking, but you can stay at my house tonight. there’s an extra room if you want it, or you could stay wherever.”

our eyes met, and i simply nodded.

then, off to your house we went.

it had started raining.

the moon was still blue.

it shone so beautifully against your skin.

just like the sun did.

you took my hand and helped me out of the car.

suddenly, despite the rain, you pulled me into a hug. we started to sway slowly.

“don’t you feel like we’ve known each other much longer than we have...” you said so quietly, i barely heard.

i nodded against your chest, “yes, it does.”

you hummed in acknowledgment.

“i know it’s raining, but we didn’t dance at the school, so do you want to now?” you asked, kinda shyly.

“let’s dance.” i laughed slowly.

suddenly, you entangled your hand with mine and out your other arm around my waist.

we really just glided back and forth from your driveway, but it was such a sweet moment.

your soft humming, the feeling of your hand, it was so peaceful.

you had eventually laid your head on my head at some point.

even though the rain was so heavy, it was as if it wasn’t there.

the moment we were in was so surreal.

as if it was telepathic, we looked up at each other.

your eyes widened, i felt mine do the same.

you gave me a soft smile, it was such a nice sight.

slowly, in the midst of pouring rain, we both leaned it.

we both knew that this was right.

our lips collided. they moved perfectly against each other.

a perfect fit.

your hands had gone to the sides of my face.

my arms moved around your neck.

a dull taste of our strawberry milkshakes were still there.

slowly, we pulled away.

we needed air.

i blushed a deep red. hopefully you wouldn’t be able to see.

it smelt like jack daniels, which wasn’t surprising. it also smelt like cinnamon.

quietly, we walked up your stairs.

you unlocked your door, and i must say, your room fitted you.

the guitars, the posters from gigs, the polaroids...they were all there.

you had some books on your desk and a bunch of picks sprawled out.

you squeezed my hand.

“do you want to stay here or...” you asked tiredly.

i nodded, as you patted the spot next to you.

i laid down, you took ahold of my hand again.

you runned your thumb over my knuckles, such a sweet but simple thing.

i loved all of it.

you took your jacket off.

She likes dancing! She took ballet and tap lessons as a kid but quit before moving to Anubis. She thought she was past it, but after all the dance-related-mystery shenanigans she got back into it. She starts helping at kids ballet lessons and enjoys teaching the kids the correct positions. However, she soon realises the time she and Appie came to get toenail clippings has entered the ballet school's mythos.

She and Noa hang out a lot! They like to go clothes shopping together, or just sit together in the attic (both when Noa lives there and when Amber does) and chat about things. Amber isn't as into fashion as her HoA counterpart, but Noa is teaching her how to sew! She doesn't really have the patience for it, and decides to model Noa's work instead. (They end up creating a fashion segment in the flying scandal together).

She and Appie never actually get married, but they do get an apartment together. It's as chaotic as you think.

Amber Millington

She was a child who wanted to be absolutely everything when she grew up. As such she's picked up countless hobbies, including:

Gymnastics and cheerleading: she's fascinated by the sparkly leotards gymnasts wear, so her father signs her up for lessons. She loves it, and joins both the gymnastics and cheerleading teams when she starts at Anubis (she meets Mick on one of the open days because they were both admiring the sports hall and equipment). She's set to become leader of both teams, but steps down and quits cheerleading when Sibuna is formed because she doesn't have time for all three.

Jewellery-making: she picks this one up in the summer between s1 and s2, having been inspired by Nina’s locket. She buys hundreds of beads and metres of wire, which is fine until Alfie jumps on her bed one evening and scatters them absolutely everywhere. They spent the rest of the year finding beads in the strangest of places, and to this day Cassie and Erin still find them about.

She makes everyone in the house a personalised bracelet. Everyone loves them even if some of them act like they don't ("you don't have to take it if you don't want" "no im wearing it forever, back off"). Sibuna's all have a matching bead as a subtle way of showing their affiliation. KT and Willow both recieve parcels with theirs in shortly after the sinner business (Amber had just started making them when she'd had to leave)

Stargazing: She also wanted to be an astronaut when she grew up, and became interested in astrology, so she took to watching the night sky and picking out the patterns. She knows how much Fabian loves astronomy though, so she puts that hobby on the back-burner while at Anubis, though she studies the ancient Egyptian star charts when Fabian's not looking. She accidentally lets slip some information about the constellations at breakfast one day, which leads to her and Fabian having intense discussions about the stars.

Her favourite fashion designs are the ones where she connects the sequins with the tiniest strands of silver thread.
