Have you seen any official confirmation that the CGI MOTU show on Netflix is cancelled? If so, do you think it has anything to do with Kevin Conroy passing away?

So, the rumors that the show is officially canceled came from a tweet by one of the writers.

That tweet was then used as the main source in an article by ForEternia.Com that said the show was cancelled.

But that is a large jump from "not renewed" to "cancelled" and the same writer had to come back to Twitter to clarify her earlier tweet because For Eternia misrepresented what she said.

To clarify:

Netflix has not renewed the series beyond the original 26 episodes.

Mattel still retains control of the series and can take it to another company to partner with to create future season of the same series.

The fact that it was not renewed by Netflix does not mean the project was canceled by Mattel.

I call them the "Ram Fam". ^^

The main goal for Ram Ma'am was coming up with a design that leaned more towards a classic Eternia style, while also keeping her wild tomboy kind of thing (and of course, helmet). And, well, with the setting of the AU more akin to classic Eternia, and having Ram Man as a father, her storyline would be pretty different.

I do have the idea that during a misadventure where she ends up in Zalesia, she finds and nabs the Ram Stone, using it as a powerup so she can fight with the Heroic Warriors. However, the Faceless One was trying to warn her against taking it, because having it on her person long term sort of has consequences...

And here's an interpretation of Rampage!

I know it's magenta (or orchid? I dunno) rather than green, but I got this thing in my head about branches of Havoc, with the Eternian branch being this color, the Horde being red, and the Snake Men being lime green. There are exceptions (Scare Glow comes to mind), but that's the gist of it.

I'm also leaning into this half-Rock Person theory here, because I think it'd be a fun thing to explore... if I ever write this AU beyond that Orko comic.

That's a lot of chaotic energy in one room. A lot of reluctant partnerships between rivals after some needless fighting. Villians get petty, heroes get sassy, and a whole lot of bickering. Frosta has just clung onto Adam like Toph with Zuko in Avatar, she likes being heard by someone who talks and treats her in a non condescending way and Adam doesn't mind. Orko snaps and is cussing people out (who, I don't know, I just think my boy deserves to) Catra isn't happy and she is going to make it everyone's problem. Teela is trying to handle the situation accordingly, but to her frustration, she is stuck with Perfuma and Entrapta and Mermista, goes about as well as it did with Adora. Speaking of Adora, she meets Stratos and Ram Man/Ma'am (I think either would have an interesting interaction) and learn to get along quickly, both having competitive and stubborn personalities and it's starting to annoy Stratos. Duncan and Scorpia actually are faring the best together, the two have hearts as strong as their might. Skeletor has deemed Netossa to be a threat and Spinerella to be the cinnamon role (hint, he's got that backwards) Glimmer and Evil-Lyn torment each other in their own ways but are a force to be reckoned when working together. Bow, Sea Hawk, Swiftwind, and Man-E-Faces have unfortunately formed a quartet.

There's probably characters I've missed and I've worked off versions of these characters that I think work best together (He-Man 200x, She-Ra 2018, He-Man CGI currently in my brain)

You know about your 2018 She Ra meeting the 1985 one, I can imagine the MOTU Netflix having a crossover that centers on Horde Prime of the 85 show messing with the multiverse and it brings in 2018 Catra, 2018 Angella, 2021 Duncan/Man-At-Arms and 2021 Ram Ma’me/Krass as 85 Adam works with them to bring all three home. Also 2018 Catra being taken the moment she was in Horde Prime’s ship and said crossover expands on her redemption.

This sounds like such a funny set up! Anyone from the newer shows in the 80/85 show is always hilarious.

Angella would bond with Randor and Marlena but have a few words for the Sorceress. She’d also probably want to know more about Eternia because it’s Adora’s home world.

2021 Duncan would have a giant shock (and so would Krass but for different reasons). In this universe, he’s an adult, Teela is his daughter and he’s a mentor to Adam. Also not everyone uses the power of Grayskull which confuses him.

Krass is both shocked at how different the universes are but also because of Adam. He’s so different in the 80s world but somehow similar. She’d also be shocked to know that that worlds version of her is a guy.

Krass: I sound like a guy. A really buff guy.

Catra, especially pre redemption Catra, is beyond confused. On the one hand, she’s glad to be off Prime’s ship and free from him. On the other, she needs to get back for Adora. When she talks to Adam about Adora, he says that he can take her to her. Catra is reluctant because she isn’t sure how any universe’s Adora would feel about her but she goes to meet 1985!Adora.

It’s an experience.

Catra now has a lot to talk about with those in the 2018 universe.
