a/n ! - i have a whole list of songs for fics that im gonna use so lots of the fics are going to be based off those, also i think i'm going to start writing for zach turner (retribution)

you were one of the 5 who had survived barely from the attacks in woodsboro and were now sharing an apartment with mindy

you had been betrayed by your girlfriend, amber freeman, when she quite literally had stabbed you in the back during act 3

you had tons of scars but you had come to terms with them after half a year

now your life was good again…kinda

you were happy at least, hanging out with the core 4 and your new friends anika and ethan

out of everyone, ethan was your favorite and you might've been possibly crushing on him

what you didn't know is that ethan was also quite in love with you

he never told anyone, afraid his father would move you to the top of the kill list if he found out you were "distracting" him

you really wanted to date ethan, but you weren't sure how to feel about dating after the whole thing with amber

and ethan knew about this, he heard the whole thing from you during the days were you guys would just lie down on the grass, watching the stars

if you hold me without hurting me, you'll be the first who ever did

so you did what you felt like your heart wanted and shortly started dating ethan after

ethan did everything he could to treat you with the kindness and love that amber couldn't

but that meant your name slowly creeped up bailey's kill list

and ethan tried to push your name down, but knew that in the end he would have to kill you

you guys dated for a while and as much as ethan loved you, his father kept pushing these ideas that were incredibly inaccurate about you into his mind

soon ethan grew more and more bitter towards you and you felt more distant from him than ever

there's things i wanna talk about, but better not to give

you wanted to desperately talk to him about what was happening, but you remember how that ended with amber

a bruised cheek.

so you didn't do anything, you stayed with him until he really got so bad that you couldn't even sleep peacefully anymore

so you had to break up with him and all of your friends knew it

the only problem was quinn was among those friends and she was going to snitch to her little brother about your plans

and boy he was going to be livid

so like i kinda wanna know how sukuna would feel like, not necessarily acknowleding (im sure hes aware) but more or so just overall how he feels with the fact that he will outlive reader by a WHILE..

sukuna would definitely act like he doesn’t care about the fact that he’ll outlive the reader. and at first, he actually doesn’t — but then he tolerates you more ‘n more and gets used to your ‘annoying’ presence in his life, to the point that he’d feel an indescribable emptiness if you weren’t around 🙂‍↕️

and i feel like after that, sukuna would be a bit more in denial, like ‘naw nothing will happen to her bcs i won’t let it be’ or just ‘she isn’t going to die. not on my watch’ type of thoughtssssss

part 1. favorite work(s) i've written (aka @/writingmochi staple and a must-read for people who finds my blog for the first time [welcome, new followers! hope you enjoy them!]):

crossroads, a enhypen jay one-shot

still is the proudest fic i've ever written. very studio ghibli (according to @/jeongwins) and also very movie-like. @/orochxi melodramas got me in the feels to write this but this is more wholesome that viv's memento mori-coded fics lmao... fun fact: this is almost a nct chenle fic inspired by parasite (2019) hence the fish-out-of-water scenario

troubled pixies, a txt taehyun one-shot two-shot

definitely my favorite character-building-wise. the fact that i have to figure out not only mc + taehyun but also the sisters, their partners, and the sisters' parents' characteristics here is so complicated yet fun, especially how intricate it is. also currently my longest one-shot i've written (52k) that tumblr hates it so much, it has to be divided into two :") (also, this is one of @/boba-beom's fav fics. i've successfully infected her with 80s/90s songs hehehe) + istg mc here is a definite lux lisbon if she live in 90s instead of the 70s, complete with the chainsmoking and her taste in 90s alt songs

time wave, a txt yeonjun series

now, this is my favorite world-building-wise. i made haeyang this intricate place and setting with its supernatural aspect only some people get (you will know when you read). before writing this, i know i had to make a life is strange (2013) inspired au because it is one of my favorite story-based games of all time. and i’m proud that it kinda becomes its own self especially with my own twists on it. hope you are ready because the [redacted] spin-off will be posted around october! fun fact: this was supposed to be written for stray kids han

part 2. least favorite work i've written:

a story of two broken hearts, a enhypen jake series

i am still proud of this even though it is my least favorite!!!! why, you ask? because this is the first building block of my blog as a whole which is then continue with time wave's chapters as i honed my writing skill. it is the shortest one-shot currently (at 9k though which is still considered long-fic) but you could definitely sense my style even with that. and i don't wanna change it any other way... :]

the more time this fic is available on my blog, i have accumulated a few thoughts: (1) enhablr peeps are horny and like smut more than any other creative writing genre; (2) enhablr peeps don't read sunoo fics like they read heeseung/sunghoon/jungwon/niki's; and (3) enhablr peeps don't like anything except for romance. and that is sad to me because there are so many writers who write any topic other than romance or smut that is as great. so, if you want something different or if you like horror, do consider reading this one :D

✨What's a fic you've posted you wish you could breathe life into again and have people talking about it? (or simply a fic you wish got more credit)

one day i’ll forget about it

one of my favorite fics i’ve written has always been this song one shot, idk why i just loved it so much? maybe bc i love the song so much (literally my #1 song last year on apple music AND spotify) and i really just love the way i wrote it and felt kind of proud for the metaphors in it (had to put my bio degree to use lol). but i just sometimes go back and read it and i love it so much, so i guess i would say i wish it got more credit? but i still love it regardless!!!

i also kind of love how even though it’s so short i was able to capture so much emotion and depict the heartbreak and pain of a breakup? also too when one of my moots read they told me that it made them so sad LOL and they didn’t think they could even listen to the song bc of it!! idk i love angst and i think as much as i love romcoms and cheesy stuff i love writing sad shit too lol

BUT i do wanna write a second part to it bc of a friend who really loved it as a gift to her, and that one will be eren’s pov! and it’ll be based off not strong enough by boygenius!!

i’m putting these two in one bc i think i’d have to say both apply to my most recent cabin fic!!

honestly i was so proud of this fic bc i normally stray away from canonverse bc i feel like im not the most well versed with canon material since i got into aot wayyyy later than most people! but i really love my eren depiction a lot idk i love eren so so so much he’s one of my favorite characters so i love eren introspection i could write about him all the time! i wanna do a character study on him one day but anyways!! i think my prose and writing was just rlly nice and also it was my first time writing present tense!!! so i was kinda proud LOL

and i think people definitely did catch on to the theme of the seasons but i could literally go on a whole tangent on the symbolism within the fic and why i wrote it the way i did, just bc there was truly a lot more to it!! like there was symbolism within each section and why i wrote each scene in each “season” and kind of why i separated it into seasons! i love seasonal symbolism and i really enjoy domesticity too so i wanted to hone in on that with that fic, and i think i did a pretty good job! and with mikasa’s pov ive been writing i think im doing a good job! (although it was a little hard to continue the same theme and still make it unique to her but also relevant haha)

//I just wanted to say, back in my Black Butler days (Which was WAY back like 2009-2019) I used to be a HUGE fan of Ash/Angela in particular, they were my first muse and for that, they still hold an EXTREMELY special place in my heart and sometimes I honestly kinda wanna go back to writing them lol //They were my favourite chracter, and Alois is/was a close second, I wrote cringey fanfic, had based and created a whole OC off a kinda "Combination" of them who I still use today, and also RPed him for a time back on a few ancient forums and Google+ when that was a thing still (I'm ancient lmao) //but overall the former ESPECIALLY barely had ever gotten any content - especially good, genuine content made from love rather than half spite "Look at this asshole" - and putting aside my surprise that the Black Butler fandom is still alive and kicking, i just stumbled across your blog and while I'm not sure entirely what Christlois is about (Please do feel free to give an explanation!) I just wanna say, a combination of my favourite things from my Black Butler days: Being Ash/Angela, Alois, THAT SEASON ONE AND TWO GET SOME ATTENTION, SERIOUSLY THEYRE STILL SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! ill be honest the direction it took with season three onwards kinda was a part of why i fell out of love with the series and just the existence of catholicism/priest aesthetics as a whole lmao) //For the longest time the memory of the Black Butler fandom had left a VERY bitter taste in my mouth since being around in it's heyday as an Ash/Angela RPer was certainly an experience lol, but just looking through your blog, though I don't exactly know what it's about, is such a sweet taste of nostalgia that while I don't exactly find myself missing the community, I miss the characters and story established by the first two seasons greatly. :,) It's kinda odd to say but I was almost certain that Ash/Angela would just fade into obscurity with offhand mentions at best, no one to love and care for them, and so glad to see that someone is caring for them where I couldn't anymore! //While I still find myself coming back to the priestisms (Leonard's 1.3 verse.... *Cough*) after all these years, it's honestly been a nice reminder on just how much these Ash/Angela and Alois have impacted my writing, both in muse writing and creative! Either way, thank you so much for your care put into this and please pardon the long message sfkdhbfkhkdfh

HI HELLO THIS IS SO SWEET OH MY GOD!!!

Where do I even begin? First of all THANK YOU!! I love these angels so bad, and YOU understand. They're a fascinating evil and a very interesting character concept. It's really cool that you roleplayed with them and I bet you had a ton of interesting headcanons and developments, more so than we got from the show! Because the thing is there is not a character as neglected by the fandom and the media as Ash and Angela. For their presence in Season 1, they are never talked about...

And that's not fair! They're so fascinating!! And thank you so much for the ask, genuinely, lenght doesn't bother me at all, and it's nice my mildly sacreligious blog brought some feeling of nostalgia.

So Christlois is basically the universe of one specific fic, that being this one , written by me and co-written by @eemoo1o . It's basically a story about Alois turning his back on Claude and instead being swayed to Ash's side, becoming Ash's little puppet as opposed to Queen Victoria. It's mythological, theological, philosophical, and also really really disturbing JFJKSDF there's sebaclaude, sebastian being ciel's weird dad, alois being in-characteredly toyed with (poor boy), and ashgela being a total bastard.

New Year’s Day

Summary: Spencer is cleaning bottles on new year’s day with his lover.

it’s been months since i’ve published a fic and there are so many reasons on why that has happened. but i just needed to write and share this with you. i think this song it’s absolutely beautiful and i just had this thought and had to share it. i hope you like it!! it’s based on New Year’s day by Taylor Swift <3

There is glitter on the floor and Spencer looks at his friends with a smile while most of them, - to not say all of them-, are drunk, some are chill drunks, and some of them just sit there and stare at the void, like Luke Alvez who has been staring at his own shoes for the last twenty minutes, and some others are crazy drunk, like Morgan who is trying to strip and dance to Savannah while their child is running off with the other kids.

Spencer seems content with himself, he never knew a new year's day would be full of fun. He recalled the last few days, where he and his wife had been cooking the meal the team devoured in half an hour. They hosted the party at their house this time, and Spencer was looking forward to the next time. It was the first time he hosted a party, and the first time he had someone whom he so lovingly called his wife there to help him.

He looks around the room. His family, complete and whole, is there. Of course, there are some faces he missed, such as Gideon and Elle. He went and visited his mum a few days earlier, he went with his wife and he was happy to see how well they got along. His mom was talking about some stories she unknowingly already told Y/n yet she still had that surprised and excited face to hear it all over again. That's one of the things he loved about her most.

His cheeks still blushed when his mom told the embarrassing stories about his childhood, and Y/n still laughed at him while her nose slightly scrunched from laughing. He loved that little nose scrunch. He really loved all of her.

Then, they went grocery shopping for things they were gonna need for dinner, the dinner they were gonna serve to a room full of FBI agents. He didn't think he'd be as domestic as he is now. He laughed at her when she was buying snacks for them.

One day before new years day, they found themselves in the kitchen, cooking with soft music in the background while he followed her rules. Bring this, bring that, mix this, put this. He kinda liked how bossy his wife got when it came to cooking. He just bit his lip, nodded, and followed her around like a lost puppy.

“So I mix it like that?” he asked. He knew he was doing it wrong, but he just wanted her to correct him.

She sighed and chuckled a little, “No, love. You have to do it a little bit faster. Come here, I'll show you,” she said, making a motion with her hands.

She didn't know what he was doing, and Spencer just couldn't stop smiling while she explained and moved his hands around to show him, “Oh okay, I think I got it,” he lied. She nodded and watched him. This time, he did it correctly. And while he was mixing, she was watching. She took the time to appreciate how his beautiful curls went in front of his face, his little blushed cheeks from all the movement he was doing, and his sleeves on his arms. He looked hot.

She also watched the little spark his ring made when it made contact with the light. She couldn't believe he got to marry that beautiful man beside her.

He noticed her staring, and he smiled softly at her. The warmth on her face rose up, feeling hot suddenly. She was caught by her husband, and she felt like a schoolgirl again.

On New Year’s Night, they put some decorations around the house, some glittery ones that they would regret later because it will be difficult to remove from the floor. They received their friends with welcoming hugs into their household, and they looked around and sat. He helped her to get some drinks for them, he in fact told her to sit down, he didn't want her moving around too much but she was stubborn and he liked it.

“No more drinks for Derek,” she said strolling inside the kitchen. He chuckled lightly while he took the glasses out of her hands.

“How are you feeling?” he checked on her.

“Good, these heels are killing me though,” she looked down at her, a movement Spencer also followed. He chuckled again.

“You should take them off then, angel,” he said. Even though he knew she wasn't gonna do it.

“Nah it's fine I just-” she tried to explain, but a loud noise coming from the living room made them turn around.

“Sorry!” Derek said in the background. She shook her head while Spencer smiled and rubbed her back.

“I'll clean it up,” he whispered, kissing her head and rubbing her back lightly to then walk to where the mess was. Just some glass on the floor.

“Sorry man I just… they didn't let me walk past,” he drunkenly explained.

Spencer shook his head, “Oh, I'm sure they did,” he smiled, “No more drinks for you however.”

“No man that's not fair. It was their fault, not me!” He tried to explain.

“No more drinks,” Spencer repeated.

Sadly there were more drinks for Morgan that night.

The girls carried their shoes as they couldn't bear to wear them anymore. Y/n was there with them, the only one with her shoes still on her feet. She listened to how they were telling her how beautiful she looked. Y/n just shook her head and chuckled, then scanned with her eyes looking for husband. It was almost midnight and she was expecting to be there with him.

“Oh, Y/n I think you and Spencer should have baby geniuses already,” drunk Emily said. She shook her head and chuckled.

“You, my friend, are very drunk.”

“Yes I know! But that doesnt mean I don't know what I'm talking about,” she explained. All the other girls nodded.

“Okay, when Spencer and I have babies, you'll be the first one to know,” she joked.

“As it should be,” Penelope said.

Savannah and Y/n shared a look and laughed lightly, them two being the only ones not drunk.

Spencer came behind his wife, she, just feeling his scent looked back at him, she smiled, “Almost midnight,” he smiled. She nodded and grabbed his hand, she said goodbye to the girls and they stared at both of them.

“Damn, they look good together,” Pen mentioned. All of them agreed.

They knew Spencer wasn't gonna end up alone as he so well thought, but they never knew he would find his missing puzzle piece, until they met her. He fits with her perfectly and he has never been happier.

Spencer and Y/n walked to the little balcony they had, she trembled a little as she was sleeveless in the cold. Spencer pushed her closer to him, opening his cardigan and making her wrap her arms around him, covering her up with his cardigan. She chuckled a little.

They were waiting patiently for the countdown and fireworks to start. Truth to be told, neither of them liked fireworks. Spencer was annoyed at the noise they made and her as well, but she knew that animals and people were gonna get scared at the loud sound they made, yet, she wanted a kiss like in the movies, and so did he. They wanted to kiss at midnight with the fireworks, it was one of the things they both saw in romantic comedies and wanted to try.

He rubbed her back feeling her anxious heart beating, “It's okay love. We don't have to do it if you don't want to,” he whispered, kissing her head.

“No, I want to,” she said, “It's just that to think-” she shook her head.

“I know. It's gonna be okay,” he promised.

She nodded because she believed him. She always did.

Spencer continued to rub her back and kiss her head softly and sweetly whispering encouragement.

Y/n wrapped her arms around him tightly.

Spencer looked down at the love of his life feeling grateful to have her in his arms.

They think of all those people who couldn't be there with them for one reason or another.

They thanked the universe for being together that year.

They asked for more years to be together.

They wished well for all the other people in the world.

She looked up at Spencer with a smile. Feeling complete to have him there. To have them there.

She opened her mouth to speak.

“I'm pregnant,” she said with a smile.

The fireworks started, alluding to how Spencer felt inside. She said it, didn't she? He heard correctly?

He couldn't even hear the fireworks, he could see the lights in the sky. They didn't even kiss, they didn't kiss at the countdown. Spencer leaned his head down then, cupping her face and kissing her with all the love he had in his heart. He didn't care about the fireworks, or the strong sound or their friends inside hugging each other. He was complete in her arms right there, right then.

“Did I hear correctly? Is it true?” he spoke. She nodded, and Spencer felt like crying.

Some tears, came down his eyes. He was… He… He didn't have words.

She hugged him as he buried his face in her neck and cried, they both cried.

He felt complete, she felt complete. They were complete.

Their little moment was interrupted by their friends opening the balcony door and going to hug their friends, laughing and saying stuff neither of them understood.

Spencer pulled away, he didn't want to share the news yet. He wanted it to be all to themselves for a little moment. So they made an agreement with their eyes, and went and hugged their friends.

A few hours later, they were hugging their friends again but saying their goodbyes. Closing the door as Morgan didn't want to leave, Spencer turned around and dropped to his knees.

“What are you doing?” She chuckled a little, running her hands through his hair.

“I… I want to talk to them, can i?” he asked, She nodded and he pulled her closer by her waist. He started softly kissing her belly, and she was playing with his hair, “Hello… hello there baby. It's your daddy,” Spencer said with a huge smile and a few tears, “That was your family, I really want you to meet them soon. I bet they will love you as much as we do,” he said looking up. He stands up and cups her face once more, kissing her, kissing her with all the love he felt, “Thank you for giving me a family. There is no better way to start this new year than with this,” he said, caressing her belly.

“Thank you for sharing it with me,” she said and looked around their house, “We have to clean up this mess though,” she chuckled.

Spencer looked around, glitter on the floor after the party, bottles to clean up, and mess to pick up, he shook his head, “I'll do it, you need to rest,” he said.

She shook her head, there it was. her stubbornness again, “No, I wanna help.”

He nodded knowing there was no way he would win that fight. They cleaned up, Y/n picking up the trash and the bottles and putting them in the kitchen, while Spencer moved the furniture around to clean up the glitter.

After that, they both moved to the kitchen, washing dishes and cleaning up bottles. There was a soft piano song in the background, as they were listening to soft music before the team left. Spencer hummed softly as he moved around. He looked at her, she was humming along.

“Would you like to dance with me?” he asked, stretching his hand for hers. She put the cloth on the counter and took his hand. He made her spin, and she laughed. He smiled, he liked that sound.

He pulled her closer by the waist and hugged her, burying his face in her neck. He couldn't believe he was dancing at midnight on new years day with his wife, who was pregnant. It felt like a dream and he feared he might just wake.

He hugged her tighter, burying his face deeper and deeper. She rubbed his back, and felt a few warm tears on her shoulder followed by fainted sobs. She frowned and tried to pull away to see him, to see what was wrong but Spencer only held her tighter, “Please don't ever become a stranger whose laugh I could recognize anywhere,” he whispered. His voice breaks and sobs out.

She felt her heart squeeze, “What's wrong?” she whispered, concerned.

“I just…,” he sighed, “ This is too good to be true. I'm too happy, I feel complete and I don't want it to end. I don't want it to become just a memory. in a world where becoming a super hero is just as likely a career path as a doctor, scar is the newest hero to join an elite legion of heroes protecting yet another major metropolis.

his spot was secured on the team as part of a campaign deal with the newest mayor (jellie, who's a human in this 100% because i thought it would be funny). scar saved a lot of people in exchange for his open support of her election. Mumbo (Cyborg Human) Weapon/Power: kept various gadgets and tools on hand, has some built into his body (like his shield) Notes: he's taken a step back from the front line in favor of working on the team's tech and a "slightly" unethical experiment he's been struggling with. Impulse (Human) Weapon/Power: electric magnetic gauntlets, the tank of the group Notes: advocates for more transparency in regards to their work to the general public, dislikes the secrecy of it all. Pearl (Alien) Weapon/Power: shadow hopping + star reading Notes: crash landing from a planet light years away, pearl considers the team to be her new family that she would defend at all costs. Grian (Human, Clone) Weapon/Power: avian body, later dream hopping and illusion powers Notes: originally known as poultry man, his first body was killed but preserved. various clones of himself have been made, though none as fully evolved as this version. has a different alias now. Scar (Vex Hybrid) Weapon/Power: archery + body phasing (can pass through walls) Notes: keeps his vex half a secret due to public distrust in the species, also uses re-chargable leg braces to walk the one shot would follow the plot of grian regarding scar with suspicion when he joins the team, and the rest of the team trying to figure out who keeps sending drones after them.

drones that suspiciously, scar has been the only one to figure out how to destroy; a specific electric frequency that can be fired from custom arrows his brother (cub) made him. scar has various trick arrows, the very first one he showed off being a smoke bomb one.

nepotism is strong with him ok

it culminates with pearl having a vision of a person who "emits blindness" with a strange symbol over their head. later, the team are led to a trapped fake enemy base that's riddled with wild vex that try to kill them; grian has to rush in to save scar when the power line on his leg braces are strangely cut, when scar finally confesses to being a hybrid by talking the wild vex down from murder.

grian eventually chooses to face down scar alone, with pearl waiting in the wings as back up. the confrontation ends with grian flung from a 7 ft story building, dead, and a horror-struck scar looming over him.

but something doesn't feel right about that death, right? something seems... off. :)

i think for people it’s easy to demascluinize jimin simply because he’s come to terms with himself and has been open that yeah, he isn’t what you’d call a “classic male” or doesn’t present as a “typical man” but i think that some people can’t comprehend that just because someone shows more feminine traits or qualities, or has been open about not forcing a stupid, outdated agenda onto himself. doesn’t mean he’s any less of a man 🧍‍♀️

1) Describe one creative WIP project you’re planning to work on over the summer.

I hope I'll finally finish ACoS: Foe so I can move on to the letter G (ACoS is based on a series of letter prompts). I also want to continue with my original writing project.

2) Rec a book!

I rarely get around to reading for myself rather than uni (two foreign languages = two literary canons, yay), so I'm going with an author I admire greatly.

I recommend "The House* of Ulloa" (Los pazos* de Ulloa) by Emilia Pardo Bazán.

The story is set in 19th century Galicia and follows the young priest Julian Alvarez, who becomes chaplain for the marquis of Ulloa. Upon his arrival at the run-down estate, he gets drawn into the intrigues between the marquis, Pedro Moscoso; his majordomo, a suspicious, brutish man named Primitivo; and Primitivo's daughter Sabel, who is the mother of Perucho, Pedro's illegitimate son.

The House of Ulloa is an example of the Spanish naturalist movement, so if you're a fan of minimalist style, this book probably isn't for you.

*House doesn't exactly equal pazo. A pazo is a manor house in the countryside which often looks a bit like a small castle.

(Pazo de Meiras, where EPB used to live. Sadly, it later became the summer home of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco...)

I love Lyrian and her relationship with Calio, I love the additions to Tyranny's worldbuilding, I love the way everyone is characterised—it's just a great fic for a great, underrated game.

4) Rec music!

I've been thinking long and hard about which Trve Kvlt metal band I'd talk about just to show off my ~~eclectic taste~~ but fuck, I wanna gush about Angelo Branduardi.

I love Angelo Branduardi.

He's a renown Italian folk/traditional/pop musician, author, film soundtrack composer, (small-time) actor and, relatively recently, voice actor for a point & click adventure game.

His music spans an incredible range of genres, lyrics & time periods ranging from songs of medieval origin to quiet folk to singer/songwriter to pop. He's released 28 studio albums and 50 albums in total. My favourites are the "Futuro Antico'' albums which contain adaptations of traditional songs from different areas and time periods as well as languages.

For example, the other day I listened to "Loibere Risen" from the first Futuro Antico album and thought to myself "Wait a minute, that's not exactly German… but it sounds so German I can kinda understand it." It's a song from the 13th century sung in Middle High German… Other obscure languages and dialects, such as Occitan, also find their way onto those albums.

Many publications call Branduardi a "modern day bard" and I think that's an apt description so if you're in any way inclined towards folk and "Bard-ish" music (or are learning Italian and looking for an easy to understand singer), I recommend you check him out.

Oh, and Angelo Branduardi is also the voiceclaim for Chief Justiciar Valcarion, one of my ESO OCs.

5) Share one piece of advice!

When it comes to creative activities, rules are there to be broken.

For any creative expression there are so many guides out there telling you to do this and that and while you should understand why those rules exist, don't let them limit you. Write that experimental 500k word novel from the perspective of a goose, wear that weird outfit you find cool even if they tell you those colours don't go together or it's out of fashion, draw that proportion-defying figure even if people tell you that's not how it works.

It's all about expression and it's all good as long as those deviations from the norm are your intent (rather than, say, trying to draw a proportional human being but failing and hiding behind style).

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Any scene with shinobu in my Gamer Giyu fic "The Perfect Date". I tried to make her as funny as possible in that one, and believe me, there were plenty more funny moments of her in my draft for that fic that I ended up having to cut out bcuz I felt it drew away from the plot too much. Oh how I wish to make a fic just for her lol

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I like to make the love interests assholes sometimes, just to piss you guys off hehe, everytime they do something shitty that makes you hella sad, just know that it was me 😈

✍ Do you have a beta reader?

I don't unfortunately, I kinda just go read over it myself a couple times to check for mistakes but thats pretty much it. Ngl lie though, I am kinda interested in having someone else proofread for spelling mistakes and plot holes, any takers 👀 preferrably someone who's talented with that sort of thing haha

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

I always enjoy a good simile and metaphor here and there, not really sure about themes... love at first sight maybe? enemies to lovers? tsundere? I like sad fics as well that have happy endings, I will never, ever do a completely sad ending, i just don't like them and they leave a bad taste in my mouth

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

Dog, I dont even knooooooooooow, i think all of my fics are pretty straight forward and tame. Maybe Regrettable? All of my super crazy fics are still in production so we'll just wait and see, but for drafts rn, my "No Escape" (Sanemi x Reader) series is gonna be hella crazy, so just you wait

Yup, for those who remember, I was working on a fic called Night and Day about Kyo x stepsister reader who was living with him. Originally I had him as a yandere, obsessive person with reader being uninterested in him and the fic being non-con, but I ended up scrapping the whole thing and changing it to be a fluff fic with reader living with kyo, reader having a crush on him, and slowly the two grow closer, with tons and tons of angst and sadness. The original outline for the non-con fic is on my patreon if anyone would like to see the poor thing, it had 8 chapters outlined too haha. what a waste.

Also dont be afraid to take breaks! burning urself out will lead to depression babes

Fic WIPs I want to post in 2024

I wanna hold myself accountable more than anything so here's some fics/concepts I want to write in 2024. I don't know if any of them will get done we'll have to see.

1. Like Real People Do

This is kind of a cheat since I already started it, but I really want to finish this fic in 2024. It has been in progress since last September. I love it it is my child however it is time for this guy to get off of my wiplist. It's already 35 k, and we're still six (+?) chapters away from the end. If any of my wips are getting finished this one is a priority.

2. Biting the Hand That Feeds

This fic I just started last? month? something like that, but where its shorter and I like the concept there is a high chance that I will finish it. It's a Milo/Sweetheart 1920's AU that Dizz introduced me too that I am putting my own spin on. I am actually in love with the concept and I wanna see if I can get that whole "can't be together but like fuck do I care" vibe down since this is the first time that I'm properly writing it ^^

3. Milo/Sweetheart Mafia AU

This one is another one that is probably (hopefully) going to be done sooner rather than later. Veau actually handed me this concept attached to Copacabana (at Copa) by Barry Manilow and I am so excited to play with it. The song in general fascinates me, I liked it before now but I listened again a few nights ago while we were talking about it and really listened to the lyrics and it has such a fascinating story it tells. I haven't picked out the themes I would be writing JUST yet (I just started developing it on the 24th) but there's probably gonna be something there.

4. My Tank fic that is based on songs from Stick Seasons (We'll All Be Here Forever) by Noah Kahn

This one is pretty self-explanatory, but the concept fascinates me. Ever since that album came out I have never been able to detach it from Tank no matter how hard I try. So, the natural response is to write a fic until I hate myself (/lh/j). It would revolve around the relationship that Tank & Milo/Sweetheart would have before, during, and after Quinncident/Darlin moving away. This one has themes of different connections on person can have, and how those connections can age as someone grows up and changes, and what its like to navigate someone returning after so long and changing so much.

5. My SpiderSneaks AU

this is just me indulging in my other hyper-fixations. In this fic, I'd be taking the plot of The Amazing Spider-Man and twisting it to fit into Milo/Sweetheart. I forget what other details I have, but it's a concept I've been sitting on for a while. I'm just obsessed with spiderman guys that's really the only reason this exists. However I would love to write out themes of the struggle between purpose and love/happiness. I feel like that's a fitting thing to imbed into a spiderman au that doubles as a milo/sweetheart fic. The two of them are easily put into that "must do good" role, and their relationship seems to balance that out a little bit, but I kinda want to play with it in regards to Sweetheart.

6. The Milo/Sweetheart intimacy fic. (the one talked about in this post. )

This kinda ties into me pushing my aspec!Sweetheart agenda, but the idea of writing a fic that shows the intimacy and love these two share without defaulting to a sexual encounter is so fascinating to me. I would put SO MUCH into that fic guys you don't understand. I need it. It's not even "oh this would be cool to write" its "I NEED to write this to satiate my soul."

I do have other wips I want to work on but they're smaller and will probably act as buffers between the bigger ones. I hope I can get most of them done, especially the unfinished fics because I hate having unfinished projects. However there are themes I would love to explore in the not started ones that might convince me to start writing it ^^

Prompt #2, Pitch Perfect RarePair Week

*drags myself in out of sheer force of will, collapsing immediately on the floor, holding this post aloft like a hard-won trophy* I did it. I got the drawing for today's prompt done. Here you go.

So, backstory: this is technically related to what will now be three posts later this week (because there's supposed to be a second part of this drawing based on Prompt #7, "I can't say it so I'll sing it", that will now be posted along with my original unrelated idea for #7 on Sunday), all of which are based on a fanfic I've been writing for a couple months now. Said fic (and two of the three posts) is Jeca-centered, but it's based in a little pocket verse that has a LOT more going on in it than just their whole... Thing, and that includes other RarePairs hanging out and generally being adorable in the background. (This includes all of the rarepairs I'm featuring this week, btw.)

Enter Chaubrey, who have their own side story going on that includes at least one gay panic (Aubrey), years of pining (Chloe, literally from their freshman year at Barden onwards), a mutual realization of "holy shit there might be something here, actually!" (Seen above, more on that below), a few months of hesitant flirting and maybe-sorta-kinda dates, and, finally, a reveal of feelings through meaningful glances during a duet featuring the rest of the Bellas (and a subsequent mutual decision to sneak off and talk things through after... Which may or may not lead to smooching in a broom closet somewhere. Maybe. Yes, Fat Amy finds them, and, no, she never lets them hear the end of it, even at their wedding a year later). It's a lot, is what I'm getting at here, that unfortunately goes mostly unsaid in-story due to the POV(s) I'm writing in, but I felt it was important that y'all know about it anyways because they live in my head rent free. Constantly. So.

Now, as for this scene specifically: set roughly 1 and a half years after PP3, Aubrey and Chloe are helping Beca pick out a wedding outfit as the Chief Bridesmaid and Maid of Honor, respectively (a position that Chloe threatened to fight Fat Amy for until Beca, in fear of "the Kraken has been unleashed!", declared that Chloe was Maid of Honor and Fat Amy would officiate, end of story), a month or two after Beca announced her engagement via a group zoom call (and Chloe's excited reaction subsequently provoked a Gay Panic™ in Aubrey as she suddenly had the realization that "I want to see her smile like that for the rest of my life", a Totally Normal and Measured Reaction to have for your best friend of course). Stacie would help but she's trying to wrangle a flower girl dress for little Bella across the country in New York, and Emily is splitting her time between song writing and helping with other logistics ("I've been researching venues, did you know there's actually an old movie theatre here in LA that can be rented out for weddings?" "rEALLY?!?! 😍" "NO." "Come oooonnnn, Becs, you gotta admit that's cool!" "Not. Happening."), So it's down to Chloe and Aubrey to help find the perfect wedding gown suit for Beca, because, and I quote, "Just because I agreed to a wedding does NOT mean I'm gonna be like every other bride on Say Yes to the Dress or whatever, if we're doing this we're doing it my way, and I'm not wearing a poofy overpriced dress that I can only use once, got it?" ("But, Beca, don't you wanna, I dunno, dress up for your husband-to-be? Go the whole nine yards?" "Are you kidding?! Jesse offered to just go up to the courthouse and be done with it, he's still amazed I said yes in the first place. It was only after I reminded him that you pitches would hunt us down and murder us if we got married without you that he agreed to do an actual wedding." "...Damn. You two really are made for each other huh." "You're also correct, there would be nowhere on this planet you could hide from our wrath if you'd eloped. Fat Amy has connections.")

Anyways.

In the midst of the chaos of trying on outfits and assuring the sales associate at each shop (because there are multiple shops visited, by the way) that, yes, she really does want a suit instead of a dress, and no, she won't be persuaded otherwise, and in trying to find matching bridesmaid outfits for the rest of the girls, Chloe and Aubrey find some moments to just... Talk. They haven't been able to talk much since the tour, at least in person, and they've missed that. They've missed each other. (Hence, the prompt!) Herein comes the realization that they're both single (rip Chicago you'll debatably be missed), and the mutual blushes and unusually shy glances start clueing them each in that, huh. It's almost like... She might... Reciprocate??? My feelings??? But they don't quite get to unpack that because there's still suit shopping to do!

But they'll get there, don't worry! We'll get the resolution to this little storyline on Sunday, because what better way to finally confess your feelings than with the same mashup that first truly brought you and your friends together! 😎

4. What detail in AWTEW are you really proud of?

god, i'm so proud of that fic that it's so difficult to choose just one detail! i'd say something i'm really really proud of is *possible spoilers* the way i described the nature surrounding the studio in france. i wanted to do justice to the whole 'summer in the french countryside' aesthetic by mixing descriptions of the setting with memories of their time there, while also linking that to the present and them basically reliving the million tiny moments that led to them falling in love. it's up to my readers to decide if i managed to do it right, but personally whenever i reread that fic i get filled with so much joy and that's enough for me to be extremely proud of it 💗

6. What’s one fact about the universe of AWTEW that you didn’t get a chance to mention in the fic itself?

not really a fact tied to the 'satin and lace' universe itself, but rather a very specific fun fact about something that inspired a certain scene in the venice fic: the first part of their wedding night was inspired by 'chateau lobby #4 (in c for two virgins)' by father john misty ;)

the aviation + eycte + miracle aligner trilogy - i'm surprised no one has written a comprehensive fic to the mvs to this day and i'd love to write or read a multi-chaptered fic based on the most popular theories!

26. Would you rather write a fic that had no dialogue or one that was only dialogue?

i find dialogue more difficult to write than descriptions - but that's just because you always have to find the right ratio between the two. still, very often my fic ideas are just fragments of conversations between characters, and if i need to write them down to remember them i can easily work on that and expand those dialogues. i actually wrote some sort of 'dialogue-only' (almost felt like a play) fic as a writing exercise a few years ago, and it was really fun just writing dialogue and letting it flow freely without having to worry about mixing it with descriptions.
