Me re-reading the AssClass chapter about codenames and the discourse of Korosensei about how the firstname doesn't define who you are, knowing damn well that I should feel concerned and touched but pretending that this isn't relatable at all

Could you please do Kimura and Hara for the recent ask game, please? They often get overlooked so having a bit of spotlight on them doesn't hurt.
Of course
for Kimura: pansexual and despite being cisgender he is one of the biggest trans supporters btw i have the hc he had a transfem friend when he was younger.
Hara: Lesbian and trans maybe? I like the idea of her and Yoshida being transgender friends. she would have identified in childhood and her parents were very supportive of that.

Since he doesn't get so much love in general, I do have a headcanon that Kimura is trans and uses she/he pronouns! 👀

My 5 Favorite Legal J-Dramas
I love them because they have perfect balance of seriousness and humour, not too dark and not too comedic. And the chemistry of the main leads are fun to watch with their constant bickering. 😂
1. Hero (2001)
Tumblr media
Kuryu (Kimura Takuya) is an unconventional prosecutor who has a habit of investigating the criminals himself before prosecuting, which agitates his paralegal, Amamiya (Matsu Takako) has it delays the process while more cases are piling up, and often conflicts with the police who thinks he does not trust their investigation skills.
The series is so good that it has a second season with a newcomer played by Keiko Kitagawa, a special episode with Haruka Ayase and a movie with both Keiko Kitagawa and Matsu Takako. I like their chemistry, not just between the main leads but the supporting characters as well that got pulled into Kimura Takuya's shenanigans.
2. Miss Justice (2018)
Tumblr media
A similar tale of a public prosecutor, Ririko (Yoshitaka Yuriko) whose strong sense of justice get in her daily work as she takes time to solve each cases diligently, playing the role of a "detective" to ascertain that the suspects are really guilty before she prosecutes them. However, it only delays her other cases which snowballs.
This agitates her older and experienced paralegal (Yasuda Ken) who is tasked to ensure she completes each task on time without delay. But over time, both him and the entire department who got pulled into her shenanigans finally understands her reasoning and begin to respect her as a fellow prosecutor and not as a newbie.
3. Police and Prosecutor (2023)
Tumblr media
Gota (Kiritani Kenta) and Minami (Higa Manami) are siblings who work as a law enforcer and a paralegal respectively. She works for an ambitious public prosecutor, Shuhei (Higashide Masahiro) whose values and principles are opposite of Gota, which often puts them at odds with one another when they work together on every case.
While Minami and Shuhei know the grey world in their line of work, Gota is a brash detective who only sees thing in black and white which often puts them at odds with one another. But their opposing personalities and styles of work eventually help to solve the cases in arresting and prosecuting the right criminal.
4. Ishiko and Haneo (2022)
Tumblr media
Ishiko (Kasumi Arimura) is an obstinate law graduate who aspired to be a lawyer but after failing the bar four times, she gives up her dreams and works as a paralegal at her father's private law firm where she met the prodigy Haneo (Nakamura Tomoya) who passed the bar on first attempt due to his photographic memory.
Ishiko is a bit insecure in having to work with a prodigy while Haneo is actually terrible at adapting that he often mask it with his "superior intellectual". Their different personalities and styles of working contradict each other as the two of them, with their own inferiority complexes, are thrown together to solve cases.
5. Binta : Love and Law (2022)
Tumblr media
Minowa (Matsumoto Toshio) is a former delinquent who doesn't have a regular job and never really thought seriously about life until he had to look after his young step-sister left behind by his late father. He lands a job as clerk, working for a strong headed lawyer, Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka) who is dumbfounded by his "stupidity".
But his strong sense of justice is a welcoming change that she needed having work in a corporate law firm surrounded by "vultures" that the two decided to start their own private firm to genuinely help people that really need help and not simply for the big money. But with each case, they realize things are not as simple as they think.

This is just a random thought that popped into my head but what would each of the E class students be allergic to? Like some form of allergy and how bad would it be? Sorry if that sounds weird lol.
I don’t know why but Mimura gives me the vibes that he’s allergic to like 474737 things. Like you ask him if he has any allergies, and he starts counting with fingers LMAO.
“Yeah, uh… almonds, sesame, cat fur, feathers, celery, mustard, red meat, dried mangoes-”
“How are you still alive...?”
Hazama has a peanut allergy, and it’s so cute because one of the other squad members always carries an epi-pen just in case she forgets hers.
Okano and Kimura are both lactose intolerant but literally could not care less. They’ll still drink chocolate milk, eat ice cream, etc. Jokes on them because then they pay the price in the bathroom.
Reaper 2.0 is very allergic to shellfish, so when he realizes he has to camp out in Japan for like a year to get his revenge, he’s so mad. Like that leaves him very few options for food lmao.
Chiba is super cautious with what shampoos and hair products he uses bc he’s had random allergic reactions before and it was HELL. So he doesn’t ever wanna relive that.
And I don’t know if this counts as an allergy per say, but I could see Muramatsu being sensitive to bug bites. Like his gets super big, red itchy reactions, and that’s partly why he HATES bugs. Esp if they’re in his kitchen bc that’s supposed to be his safe space 🥺
Karasuma is allergic to chocolate. No, he really doesn’t care since he’s not big on sweet stuff. But every time someone finds out, they have the most dramatic pitying reactions and it drives him crazy.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE ALLERGIC TO CHOCOLATE????? YOU’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED HAPPINESS HAVE YOU? IM SO SORRY FOR YOU BRO YOU ARE MISSING OUT!”
Irina does not find out about it until like a little while into their relationship. So one night she’s trying to be all sexy to surprise him after work, and she uses some melted chocolate….let’s just say it went horribly and they spent the night in the ER instead.

I've never thought about queer headcanons for the Assassination Classroom cast other than the teachers, just kinda went with whatever crossed my dash... Then I suddenly felt very opinionated on Pan/Ace Karma and Polycule Terasaka Gang so. Here's all my other thoughts I guess.

You've all changed so much
Everyone had changed so much. Junpei glanced at them as he shuffled his cards.
”Take one, but don’t show me”, he said and held the deck towards Takuya.
Everyone had changed, except him. Takuya took a card, looked at it and put it back into the deck. Junpei shuffled the deck again. He wished he had changed as well, but maybe it was better this way. Who would he be if he changed?
”Was it this card?” he asked and showed the top card of the deck.
”Not even close”, Takuya said with a grin.
Junpei’s shoulders fell. He was sure he had gotten the trick down. Kouji looked at the card and then whacked Takuya with a stick.
”That’s not funny. Tell him the truth.”
”Fine, fine. Sorry”, Takuya said and rubbed the back of his head. ”It’s the right card.”
”Why did you say it wasn’t?!”
”Thought it’d be funny.”
Takuya was still grinning and Junpei let out a sigh. He reshuffled the deck to try again. Their travels had changed the others so much, left him so far behind. But, he thought, some things never change.
----------
The digital world had forced everyone to change so quickly. Takuya looked at the group as Tomoki took a card from Junpei’s deck.
”If it’s a clover ten we know the whole deck is just one card”, Takuya said with a grin and Tomoki laughed.
”It’s not, it’s a heart two!”
”You’re not supposed to tell me”, Junpei whined. ”Now I have to start over.”
Takuya laughed and watched as Junpei shuffled the deck again. They were all holding on so hard to normalcy, acting like nothing was different. But everything was. Everything except him. He leaned back, looked at the clouds. Maybe it was fine that he hadn’t changed. Maybe he was perfect just the way he was.
------------
Why they were all still hanging out with him was a mystery. It had been a necessity in the digital world when they had fought for their lives, but back home? In the human world? Kouji didn’t fit. He saw Junpei drop the cards as Izumi was about to take one and got up to help him gather them again. Junpei smiled at him.
”Thank you! Sorry I butchered it again.”
”You were doing great”, Kouji said.
”I’m sorry I made you nervous, Junpei”, Izumi said. ”Let’s try again.”
Junpei shuffled the deck and Kouji saw the way Izumi and Junpei looked at each other. The others had grown so much from their adventure, but Kouji was still the same he had always been. Maybe he would always be, maybe he would never change, would always be the one left behind. He took a shaky breath and walked away.
-------------
Izumi smiled at Junpei as he offered her the deck again. He had changed so much during the time she had known him. They all had changed, had grown into better people. And yet she remained the same. She took a card, looked at it and put it back. Clover king. Junpei shuffled the deck and showed her the correct card.
”You’re so good at this, Junpei”, she said.
Junpei blushed and dropped the deck again. Izumi laughed and helped him gather it. She hadn’t changed, was still the same as before the digital world, but maybe she was fine like she was, maybe you don’t always have to change. After all, Junpei’s feelings towards her hadn’t.
------------
The digital world changed people, Kouichi thought as he grabbed the deck from Junpei.
”Let me try”, he said and Junpei laughed.
”Go ahead, prince of darkness”, Junpei said and bowed his head.
Kouichi laughed and shuffled the deck. He assumed it made sense that he hadn’t changed like the others. After all, he hadn’t really been there, had only been part of their journey for so long before his spirit joined his body in death. And yet, even he could tell how much the others had grown, just during the short while he travelled with them. Junpei took a card, looked at it and put it back. Kouichi shuffled the deck.
”Was it… this card?”
Kouichi showed a card and everyone laughed. The joker. Junpei shook his head with a smile and Kouichi gave him the deck again. Maybe he’d change in due time. Maybe it didn’t matter, because he had Kouji now and he was fine watching the others grow from the sideline.
------------
”You’ve all grown so much”, Tomoki said out loud as Kouji returned. Everyone stared at him.
”Not me though”, he continued and looked at his hands. ”I’m still just… me.”
Because he was. The only one the digital world hadn’t changed. He’d always be the same, cursed to always be weak.
”But you’ve changed”, Junpei said and Tomoki couldn’t believe him.
”Yeah”, Takuya agreed. ”You’re so much stronger now.”
”Tomoki is admirable”, Izumi said. ”You went from being dependant to being dependable. I wish I had changed like that.”
Tomoki blushed and Junpei turned towards Izumi.
”Izumi changed as well”, he said and Izumi looked at him in disbelief. ”You became more honest to yourself, less desperate to fit people in boxes. Me though? I’m still… me.”
Tomoki blinked and looked at Junpei and Izumi. He wasn’t the only one who felt left behind?”
”But Junpei changed too”, he said. ”You don’t make everything about you any longer, you listen and give advice and you’re so smart!”
”I’m still a clown”, Junpei said and pulled a long chain of handkerchiefs from his pocket.
”There’s nothing wrong with clowns”, Kouichi noted, ”as long as they know when laughter isn’t the best medicine. And you do.”
Kouji sat down next to Kouichi and gestured at Takuya.
”Even that idiot changed”, he said. ”The digital world made all of you better people.”
”I’m still way too brash”, Takuya said and hung his head.
”Sometimes yeah”, Kouji admitted. ”But now you know when to apologize for it.”
”Takuya is… softer”, Izumi said. ”I think he cared before as well, but he shows it now.”
”I wasn’t there through the first changes”, Kouichi said, ”but even after I joined I could see you all grow and I just didn’t. The downside to being dead, I guess.”
”I wish you’d stop talking about that so lightly”, Kouji said and looked away. ”But you changed too.”
The others nodded in agreement.
”We didn’t know you for long, but we still saw you open up and be less worried about speaking up for yourself”, Takuya said.
Kouichi looked at the ground and Tomoki laid down between his legs so he could catch Kouichi’s eyes.
”Kouichi-niisan did wonders for our group”, he said. ”We wouldn’t have gotten through it without you.”
”You already have two brothers”, Kouji said and threw a handfull of grass on Tomoki. ”Kouichi’s mine.”
Tomoki stuck his tongue out towards Kouji, but sat up again. Kouichi laughed and Izumi smiled at him.
”You’re happier as well. I didn’t know you before the adventure, but you definitely feel happier.”
Kouichi smiled, but it faded and he turned to Kouji.
”Wait, what did you mean with ’all of you’? You also changed!”
Kouji put his hands in his pockets and didn’t answer. Tomoki nodded.
”Kouji changed the most”, he agreed. ”He’s like a different person now.”
”I’m… really not”, Kouji said and didn’t look at anyone. ”I still don’t want people touching me, and I still prefer to be alone and I still don’t know how to make friends.”
”But… you have us”, Takuya said and Kouji stared at him.
Tomoki laughed and leaned back. They were all blind to their own changes and maybe that’s just how humans worked. They changed, they had all changed and grown, all become better, stronger and happier people. And despite that they were also still the same as before.
And maybe that was fine.

Day 8 of Maehara Shenanigans: Kimura
Tumblr media
Second group 1 member we got!
I always loved the idea of Kimura being this unintentional ladies man. Like he isn’t doing anything but ladies just like to hang off him for some reason. It’s probably because he has such a round and adorable face.
Anyways, I think Maehara would find this lowkey impressive and think Kimura is secretly like this cool dude. When actually he’s just some guy in and out.
I imagine, despite girls finding him cute, he sucks at talking to them. He’ll get a crush on a girl one day (Could be Kurahashi or just a random girl) and Maehara can tell so he decides to help him out a bit.
We can have one of those montages where we see Maehara training Kimura to be an actual ladies man. He even gives him tips about fashion (Lord Kimura needs it). Although he still stammers a bit, Kimura’s become pretty decent at talking girls. But it’ll probably take him a long while before he can actually confessed to one. No worries Maehara’s still there to help!
“No need to worry, Kimura, with my help you’ll be able to pick up chicks in no time! Who knows, maybe you’ll even be able to surpass me!”
