We LOVE the Highschool Musical movies ❤️

Do I even have to say more than that? Troy Bolton is the quintessential teen crush of our lives and Zac Efron is potentially the love of my life is he would just magically notice me

Lol okay seriously though HSM was everything! I've also become part of the adult gang that realised (years later) that Sharpay wasn't as big of a villain as they made her to be, and Gabriella was pretty much weenie 😂😂

Taylor deserved so much more but I can choose to believe that she's living the best life ever as the first female president of the United States (I know she's not 35 yet but idc IDC). Chad was hot AF and I hope he's being the most supportive First Gentleman ever as he teaches kids how to play basketball in his free time.

Sharpay is crushing it as a the superstar she was always meant to be and Ryan is loving his best life as an out and proud gay man because obviously

The point is, we LOVED the Highschool Musical movies and I will always sing & dance along to "We're All in This Together" if it comes on because it's a bop!

— when the karasuno volleyball team is required by the vice principle to join another extra curricular, the boys decide to audition for the school musical. what could possibly go wrong?

callbacks

What is a callback? What is a tenor? What is a monologue?

Suga’ s Google search history looked like a chapter straight out of Musicals for Dummies. In preparation for callbacks, he figured he could actually try and understand what he was getting himself into.

Callbacks came and Suga felt like a bull in a china shop, one wrong move and he would destroy the entire show and the roles weren’t even announced. That was until the following Wednesday.

A small crowd, mostly the Karasuno volleyball team, gathered around the bulletin board, murmuring as they read the cast list in unison.

Suga’s eyes widened in shock. He managed to get the lead.

“How-”

“DO YOU SEE THAT? DO YOU SEE THAT GUYS?! I GOT THE ROLE OF SKATER #1 AKA THE BEST SKATER!” Hinata cheered while leaping up and down.

“What kind of name is Martha Cox,” grumbled Kageyama, causing Yamaguchi and Tsuki to snicker.

“Ugh move! God you guys are hogging the entire hallway!”

Suga blinked, turning to see Y/N pushing throw the crowd, TJ behind her. He moved and let her pass, watching as her eyes darted across the list. He smiled softly, watching as hers broke into a wide smile.

“I did it I got the lead! And TJ! You got Taylor!” The girls squealed and hugged each other tightly.

Y/N turned back to the cast list and frowned. She swiftly turned around and glared at the clumped-up group of volleyball boys.

“If any of you dare to make a mockery of this show, I will have no shame in making the rest of your time at Karasuno miserable. Got it?”

She smiled at the now gawking boys and turned to Suga. “Here’s my number. We’ll need to practice lines and dance numbers together.” She scribbled her number on a page of her assignment notebook, tore it out and handed it to him. “I’ll see you at rehearsal.”

“U-uh yeah,” Suga stuttered, blinking as she pushed back out of the crowd and down the hallway, TJ following while laughing.

“You’re going to scare them off you know,” Taylor laughed, looping her arm over Y/N’s shoulder.

“I know,” Y/N smirked.
