Things between himself and Sharpay had been a bit tense over the past year since Gabriella had returned to the island. Or at least, in his head they have been. She was still one of his closest friends, that hadn’t changed and he hoped never would, but everything else just seemed far more complicated than they had before his ex came back into his life. It had only been about a month before Gabriella’s return that Troy had finally admitted to himself that something was building between himself and the blonde, something that he had been finally open to potentially exploring. But now he couldn’t in good faith do anything about it. The feelings for Sharpay were still there and going strong… But so were the ones for Gabriella. And it wouldn’t be right or fair for either of them if he acted on either set of emotions. Not until he figured out exactly what it was he wanted. Which was far easier said than done, especially since he continuously and purposefully pushed away and avoided any talk or thoughts regarding his current love triangle.

But right now, with the bit of alcohol he’s already consumed going strong in his system, Troy couldn’t stop himself from approaching the blonde and wrapping an arm around her waist before leaning in against her side with a dopey grin. “Hello there, beautiful,” he greets, pulling back just enough to give himself enough space to place a quick kiss upon her cheek. “Have you had any drinks yet? There’s like, a whole bar here. With a bartender and everything. Northwest didn’t hold back.”

Adding Sharpay on as an additional date to the ball had been a no-brainer as far as she was concerned. No way was she about to let the other blonde go to an event like this without a date, or even worse with her brother as her date. No, that was not happening - not on Tink’s watch. And Callan had been more than accepting of the idea of having two dates tonight, just like she had figured he probably would. As he walks off to go get the two girls a drink, Tink takes his spot beside the other girl and interlocks their arms as they move to go find a table for the three of them. “So, tell me. I just need to know. Is your boy here with someone else? Because we could totally ruin her night if you want to. Callan’s really great at pulling off the best of pranks and she’d have no clue it was even us,” she offers, smirking lightly at the thought of what the three of them could do to get back at Sharpay’s version of Wendy.
