There is a episode of justice league ultimate where Batman Wonder Woman and Green Lantern go 50 years into the future because a guy made a time traveling belt in his garage and tried to take something from the watchtower for his “collection”
Anyway I was just thinking about this episode in particular and how a time traveling villain vs Danny Fenton (because of course this is a dcxdp idea) where the villain keeps stopping and starting time and it doesn’t effect Danny at all and in frustration the villain asks “why isn’t this working on you!?”
And Danny, ever the harbinger of chaos shrugs and says, “nepotism, maybe?” And punches the guy in the jaw.

i noticed a lot of people's first experience with dc comics characters was a cartoon / animated series, so i wanted to know:
reblog if you answer, please! also, feel free to leave in the comments / tags whether your first watch was while it was airing, during reruns, from dvd, or from streaming. mine was the batman (2004) sometime in the early years of netflix.

There are only so many fanfics that use the entirety of DC as cardboard cutouts to prop up bat family characters that I can read before I go berserk.
I swear to god. Every character that has ever been shipped with a bat or coexists on the same team as a bat is owed an apology.
How many Young Justice fanfics that solely revolve around Tim must exist? How many Titans fanfics centered only on Dick? Why is it a herculean task to find a Justice League fanfic without Bruce as the main character?
And then even when you do find a fic that seems like it's balanced, everything still revolves around the bat. Like Kon, Cassie and Bart have nothing else going on in their lives except Tim and Tim's issues or thinking about Tim. Like Donna and Wally and Roy just cannot function if they aren't spending every waking moment thinking about Dick.
I'm... Guys. I'm at my limit. I swear to god. We need to make a Batman tag and surgically remove all these fics and quarantine them there. We'll keep the actual DC fics and they can do whatever the fuck they want in their own tag. It's getting ridiculous how hard it is to find fanfic that's actually DC related and isn't just 'The BatFam Show'.

As a child, I found refuge and strength in this show, it had so much influence on me, and he was the main voice of it.
Thank you Mr.Conroy, you will always be the best Batman and hold a very special place in my heart.

American actor Kevin Conroy has passed away on November 10, 2022 at age 66 after a short battle with cancer. He’s best known as the voice of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series as well as other TV series and feature films in the DC Animated Universe. He would later voice the character for multiple films under the DC Universe Animated Original Movies banner and video games such as Batman: Arkham and Injustice series.
