Separate Identity

After falling into a vat of chemicals while being chased by the Batman, a man finds himself at the desk of a waiting room. He looks around in confusion. The receptionist(?) behind the desk hands him a piece of paper.

Name____________

Death: Chemicals leading to Identity Death New Position: To be decided upon review Waiting Time: Unknown

He looks at the receptionist.

"Why is my name not on there? You have other information about me already."

"It's an old procedure. Just write your name to have the identification be validated." The receptionist responds with a dull tone.

He looks at it. He thinks.

"I don't remember."

Danny hums to himself as a man walks into the throne room. He explains that he can't remember his old identity, and that he would be eternally grateful if Danny would be able to help. Danny's not omniscient, so he doesn't know either.

His clothes aren't very indicative, nor his features. His memories lack history of his life, but he does remember how to do certain things. The most unique thing he remembered was a man in a bat costume and the vat.

At that point, it would be easier go to where he died and follow a trail. Somebody in the royal family would need to be with him to ensure nothing goes wrong.

Danny's way too busy with work, Dan is trying to learn how to cook with Realms ingredients, and Fright Knight is just overkill.

Ellie, of course, has already rushed in and taken the opportunity to go somewhere. It wouldn't be too hard, would it?

So I'm ready to give my interpretation/prediction of the new songs:

Both Käärijä and JO songs are about pressure put on you by the public/media/fans, they expect you to be perfect all the time, everybody's waiting for you to take a misstep and fail so they can crucify you.

How they both respond to it is very on brand though:

Bojan: oh no, I'm put on a pedestal and soon I'll fall, angsty angst and deep thoughts about anxiety and fame and being an artist

Käärijä: no matter what I do I'll get punished for it and get whipped, but joke's on you, the pain only turns me on so bring it on motherfuckers

Akira was always particular to kiss. He kissed like he tried to always match your rhythm. While appreciated at times, you couldn't help but be a tad disappointed at his lack of initiation. Still he managed to be pleasant to kiss. His lips were always warm and never chapped. He had a surprising fondness for a vanilla latte chapstick he got at the import store. But for as much as he tried to match you, follow what you enjoyed most about kissing. His lips always curled into a smile after a few seconds too many. He couldn't help it! Something about kissing you always made him smile.

Tae never had any issues leading. She was always forward. Once she'd opened up to you, she admitted it was because she was afraid to not take the chance. You were something she didn't want to let escape due to her inaction. It was sweet in a way. While she wasn't big on PDA, Tae rarely hesitated to give you a kiss before you left her office or before she left your place. Those ones were quicker typically, almost shy in a way. Her usual ones however, those were your favourite. They were always longer lasting, emphasized by her hands on your hips, fingertips gently pressing into your skin.

Sometimes kissing Goro was like playing an ongoing chess game. You could never really predict his next move. Sometimes it was gentle and soft, a hand on your lower back, the other by his side. The utmost respectful of men. Other times though, there was a tad more.. Passion. In his actions. Gloved fingers tugging you closer, lips moving hastily against yours. He certainly was something when he pulled back, eyes wide and cheeks flushed red. As if he couldn't believe his own actions. He always apologized when he got that like, but his flustered expression was always something to look forward to. Especially when you followed up with another kiss and the prince detective became horrendously flustered by it.

Makoto was always respectful when she kissed you. Her arms around your neck, standing a respectful distance away from you. It was endearing really, she was very cute. Though her chaste and respectful kisses nearly never lasted. She'd get ten or fifteen seconds in before she pulled you in closer to her. Her eyebrows furrowed with determination, a rebellious spirit burned in her touch, in her kiss, her actions. Makoto was so used to being a certain way, acting a certain way. With you, that all seemed to melt away. With you she found her walls crumbling, and her kisses conveyed she wouldn't want it any other way.

SWAP HATTER + JOKER 👍 this one is kind of difficult to explain because both the hatter and the joker are otherworldly beings that are not permanently tied to the physical bodies that they inhabit, so in the swap-universe the entity that is the hatter is using jay doe as a vessel (who is the joker’s “body” in the main canon). just like normal hatter, in the swap the joker is inhabiting a body made of inanimate materials like sticks and plastic. unlike hatter, swap joker is well aware that it is not a human being and is at relative piece with this. also bonus calendar queen and batman expressions!
