with ren and akechi being rivals, it was no surprise that the two of you were both trying to win your heart! the actual surprise was that not only did you end up dating both of them, but ryuji was part of the relationship as well!

ren and akechi aren't too different from each other, while ryuji and ren have a similar taste, even when it comes to the people they date!

but akechi and ryuji are the ones that seemingly have nothing in common except dating you and getting along with ren!

the two of them often butt heads, not capable to get along with each other!

despite trying to get along for your sake, ryuji often gets irritated by the things akechi says and they start bickering!

ren and you always have to mediate and separate them! sometimes, you go help ryuji calm down and ren scolds akechi, while other times you're the one with akechi, while ryuji gets a scolding from ren

ren never starts a fight with any of the two, even if akechi likes to provoke him! though ren is much too level headed to fall for that!

on the other hand, ren and ryuji get along great and always hype each other up when it comes to you! ryuji doesn't mind sharing you with ren at all, even encouraging you to get some alone time with ren!

ryuji and ren are both very affectionate and clingy, while akechi is more reserved, but touch starved. you always have to make the first move with him, while ren and ryuji never even give you the chance to make the first move, given how they shower you with affection

when it comes to dates, akechi always takes you out for dinner in a fancy restaurant! he likes to spoil you and insists on letting him treat you to things!

ryuji on the other hand orders pizza and plays videogames with you! oftentimes, ren joins the two of you for that as well!

but when it comes to dates with ren, you never quite know what to expect! he's the type to take you to places in tokyo you haven't been to before and offer you an entirely new experience on every date!

Akiren, Ryuji, Yusuke, Goro with S/O who wants a kiss

Note: This was mainly done out of boredom and need for fluff Ahwwksos I did this in my phone so if it looks weird, I apologize! I will fix it once I get to my computer.

Akiren

"I want a kiss."

The both of you were hanging out at Leblanc. Well, more like you. He was busy washing the dishes while watching over the store. Although, at the moment it was empty, save for the two of you.

When he heard your request, he smiles. He proceeds to dry his hands, and go to your side of the counter.

"Where, treasure?"

You thought of it for a moment, and pointed at your lips, "Here?"

He smiles even wider this time. He closes his eyes and gave you a quick peck. Before he could pull away, you wrap your arms around his neck in an attempt to ask for more, but the sound of the door opening made you retrieve your hands. He cleared his throat, "Welcome!"

Maybe when he wasn't so busy, you could continue...

He looks at you apologetically and mouths, "Later."

Ryuji

"I want a kiss."

The sound of the various videogame sound effects, children cheering and laughing, and the grunts of your boyfriend on this certain fighting game he has been playing for almost thirty minutes fills your senses. You love watching him play, but man do you also want some affection.

"Wait a minute babe."

You pout, though he cannot see it. The match ended after almost a minute though, and then he quickly turned to you.

"What did'cha want, babe?"

"Kiss please."

"Oh!" And for a second he felt sheepish, but seeing that you were in a slightly secluded part of the arcade, he decided to be a little more bold. He gave you a quick kiss on your cheek, and pulled you closer to him to give another kiss on your forehead.

"Do you want to get something to eat?"

Yusuke

"I want a kiss."

The both of you were at Inokashira Park, as Yusuke wanted to find inspiration for his next artwork. It was a nice slightly cloudy day, so it wasn't too hot out. Having an impromptu picnic with your boyfriend outside was definitely a good change of pace.

He has just started cleaning up his landscape sketches, but looked up upon hearing your request.

"Certainly, my darling."

He places his sketchpad beside him, and reached out to give you a quick kiss on your lips. He reached out for your hand and placed a kiss on your knuckles. You smiled at his actions, and then suddenly he stops for a brief second.

"Yusuke, are you o-"

"Hold that pose!"

Goro

"I want a kiss."

The both of you were at his apartment. He was catching up with the Featherman episodes he missed because of work, and you were doing homework. Upon hearing your request, Goro smirked.

"Why?"

Your eyebrows furrowed, "What do you mean 'why'? What if I'm just craving attention from my boyfriend?"

"Hmm..." Goro put his hand under his chin, as if he is considering your very serious request.

You rolled your eyes at his antics. You scooted over to his side until there was no more space between the two of you, "Kiss please!"

He complied and gave you a quick kiss on your nose. You smiled and was about to back away when he held on to your arm.

"What about me? Where's my kiss?"

Akira was always particular to kiss. He kissed like he tried to always match your rhythm. While appreciated at times, you couldn't help but be a tad disappointed at his lack of initiation. Still he managed to be pleasant to kiss. His lips were always warm and never chapped. He had a surprising fondness for a vanilla latte chapstick he got at the import store. But for as much as he tried to match you, follow what you enjoyed most about kissing. His lips always curled into a smile after a few seconds too many. He couldn't help it! Something about kissing you always made him smile.

Tae never had any issues leading. She was always forward. Once she'd opened up to you, she admitted it was because she was afraid to not take the chance. You were something she didn't want to let escape due to her inaction. It was sweet in a way. While she wasn't big on PDA, Tae rarely hesitated to give you a kiss before you left her office or before she left your place. Those ones were quicker typically, almost shy in a way. Her usual ones however, those were your favourite. They were always longer lasting, emphasized by her hands on your hips, fingertips gently pressing into your skin.

Sometimes kissing Goro was like playing an ongoing chess game. You could never really predict his next move. Sometimes it was gentle and soft, a hand on your lower back, the other by his side. The utmost respectful of men. Other times though, there was a tad more.. Passion. In his actions. Gloved fingers tugging you closer, lips moving hastily against yours. He certainly was something when he pulled back, eyes wide and cheeks flushed red. As if he couldn't believe his own actions. He always apologized when he got that like, but his flustered expression was always something to look forward to. Especially when you followed up with another kiss and the prince detective became horrendously flustered by it.

Makoto was always respectful when she kissed you. Her arms around your neck, standing a respectful distance away from you. It was endearing really, she was very cute. Though her chaste and respectful kisses nearly never lasted. She'd get ten or fifteen seconds in before she pulled you in closer to her. Her eyebrows furrowed with determination, a rebellious spirit burned in her touch, in her kiss, her actions. Makoto was so used to being a certain way, acting a certain way. With you, that all seemed to melt away. With you she found her walls crumbling, and her kisses conveyed she wouldn't want it any other way.

What... are you doing to him?

Akechi sits there, utterly confused at your actions and affection. Staring into space as you lean on his bed, peppering kisses all over his face. Your lips are soft on his nose and it's strange. Your hands are gentle with his cheeks and it's odd.

His face scrunches and his mouth perks out in confusion- but you just take the chance to give him a smooch on his lips too.

Why are you doing this to him?

His mouth sputters at the sudden contact, mumbles of bewilderment and wonder leave his lips. You go back to kissing his face, whispering your own words in reply.

You're so beautiful. It makes me so happy to be called yours. You're one of the best things to enter my life. I love you, Goro.

Your words leave him all the more flustered. "Hey- hey- wait-" hands weakly grab at your wrists at an attempt to get you to stop your motions.

Who is he to deserve such sweet, sweet actions?

Your hands are so nice and your words are so lovely. They make him feel funny inside and he doesn't know how to express it because he never does. You've done this for what feels like hundreds of times in the past and yet his surprise always makes it feel like its the first.

The feeling you bring out inside him is incredible, he thinks. A spark of warmth and overwhelming care for another- a light of love and safety deep in his core. Your hands, your warmth, the wonderful whispers of affirmations, and the absolute joy he feels when he's around you.

Moments like these- he hopes he never gets used to it. Akechi wants to feel the spark, the light, the surprise, and the love again and again with the same intensity like it's the first time all over.

A/N: thank you so much for the request, and sorry i got to it so late! i hope you enjoy it!

Warnings: mentions of third semester in Akechi's, other than that, nothing!

Akira Kurusu~

he's trying his very best to stay calm.

He can see that your uncomfortable so he tries to get to you as fast as possible

Honestly his reaction depends on his mood

if he's in a bad mood, or is maybe a little less confident with himself, he is quick to take his place beside you, his arm wrapping around your waist.

he chats with you, completely ignoring the person who was trying to flirt with you

if the person finds the courage to speak up, he sends them a death glare. seriously, if looks could kill this person would be 6 feet under

showers you in affection afterwards, and pouts if you don't return his affection :(

if he's in a good mood, and confident (most of the time), then he strides over to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek before politely telling the person bothering you that the two of you are together and you are NOT looking for a partner

kind of a gentlemen about it ngl

Even with that silver mask adoring your face, Akira could still tell that it was you. You stood out to him, even in a room full of masked faces.

The two of you had been invited to a masquerade ball, and you were both incredibly excited to go, to the point that the two of you decided to match outfits.

you looked so gorgeous, that even the person beside you seemed in awe.

the person beside you....

at first, he continues on with what he was doing, gathering drinks for the two of you. He trusts you...its not like you would prefer this girl over him, right?

the slight moment of hesitance has him glancing back over to you, only to see your awkward smile, and the women pressed up against you, with her arms wrapped around your arm.

that's all it takes for Akira swiftly walk over to your side, eyeing the girl who was chatting up a storm with you, before gently yanking the arms of the women off you. he turns to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek. You giggle, pressing one to his cheek in return.

the women beside you cleared her throat, obviously embarrassed. Akira raised an eyebrow, daring them to say anything. The women gulped, before turning away, face burning.

Akira turned back to you, flashing you his charming smile and enjoying your attention that was now only on him.

Goro Akechi~

his response also depends on his mood, and also which version of him your dealing with (before or after 3rd semester)

if your with Akechi before 3rd Semester, then he puts up his princely facade and deals with it in a responsible manner, cheerfully letting the person know that you have a partner.

appears seemingly out of no where

his charming smile puts them at ease

does tell them off in a condescending way about touching things that don't belong to them

not a big fan of PDA, but he will rest one of his hands on your lower back, and occasionally he will lean down to press a kiss to your cheek or whisper something in your ear

3rd semester Akechi is a whole other deal

even more condescending and patronizing

he makes them feel TERRIBLE, and then smiles about it

acts the same way PDA wise, but allows a smirk to rest on his face, and is kind of a tease, whispering about how adorable you are

either way, he stops this person before they can get close enough to touch you

Akechi finally had a break from work.

it had been weeks since the two of you were able to truly spend time together, so he figured a date between the two of you would be perfect. he let you choose.

thats how the two of you ended up at an outdoor ice rink, his brown jacket wrapped tightly around him as the cold nipped at him.

His scarf was wrapped around your neck, and he couldn't help but think how cute you looked, the scarf nestled up against your soft pink cheeks.

he looked away for a second, going over to put on his own skates, before standing back up and searching around to find you. it didn't take long.

You were skating slowly beside another girl, and Akechi tried to think nothing of it, until he saw a flirty smirk cross the girls face, and saw them slowly moving closer to you.

he got over as fast as he could without looking weird, coming up between you and the other girl just before she could come to close to you. he turned to the girl, asking if the two of you new each other. when you said no, he introduced himself, stating quite clearly that the two of you were together. she got the hint, and made up a quick excuse before leaving the two of you alone.

he reached for your hand, and the smiled. Finally the two of you could have some alone time.

Akechi

He's tried watching you animate before and he had to walk away after he watched you draw the same shape for what felt like a hundred times. He knows animation takes a lot of time and patience but he doesn't have either of those to watch.

Akechi will pull you away from the TV or whatever you're doing with your animation to spend time with him. And to make sure you've eaten or taken care of yourself. He's definitely a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to that.

Doesn't really watch cartoons with you, but he does listen as you talk about some specific effect or frame of animation. Akechi doesn't completely understand what you're talking about but you look happy so it's good enough for him.

Futaba

Oh she thinks it's really cool that you do animation. Might ask if you could show her a bit of the software you use. She's not artistic, but she loves technology and learning new things that you can do with it.

She's more than happy to watch whatever anime or cartoon with you. Probably asks you a bunch of questions about the animation too. She knows you pause and rewind quite a bit to watch the details of something multiple times so she tries her best to see whatever you saw.

Futaba would jokingly suggest doing stop motion animation with Phantom Thief dolls or something. If you decide to go with it then she'll gladly come up with a script and get to work while you get your own stuff set up.

Joker

There's many times when he'll go to spend time with you only for you to be involved in your animation. He doesn't mind it since you've visited him when he was making lockpicks or tending to Le Blanc. He doesn't know everything about animation, but he enjoys listening to you talk about it.

He likes whenever you go on tangents or talk to him a mile a minute about some new technique you learned or some new feature you figured out to help you animate more smoothly.

He is always happy to sit with you and watch some anime or something and see how you react to the animation in it. He doesn't quite know why he feels more kind after watching Studio Ghibli with you, but he's not going to object with how you seem to be very enraptured with the animation.

Yusuke

The idea of making a picture or image move is fascinating to him. He's a fan of most art mediums so if you'd like to practice animation by having him sketch a couple things out then he'd be glad too.

Yusuke is the most fascinated with 3D animation. Watching you rotating the character or object and changing details is something he enjoys doing. Although he does throw in his own input of what needs more shadows or changing the texture of something.

He'd try his hand at traditional animation if you explain it to him. Yes, it's very time consuming, but it's a new art medium and he is determined to make an attempt. The issue is he's a perfectionist so you probably won't speak to him for a few weeks while he's working on this. At least he's supportive of your career?

◟a/n◝ ok woah sorry this got so like angsty... I just kept yapping about everything but the lovers part 😞😞 sorry my brain will never write akechi happy

• you two originally met when his mother was alive, your parents were friends with her so you two naturally drifted towards eachother whenever the adults would hang out.

• you both got close over the years until his mother killed herself then you two got split apart. you both were so young and didn't fully understand the impact of everything, just that you went to her funeral with your parents and saw your dear friend akechi talking with some people in suits.

• you only saw him twice after that day. once was when he was walking with some adult on the street when you both were older. you wanted to rush over to him but your mind kept running, what if he forgot about you? or what if you'd remind him of the times were he had a mom? before you knew it he melted into the crowd of thousands. the second time was when you saw him on TV. by now you were a teenager and close to graduating and almost completely forgotten about him besides a few photos in a long forgotten about childhood photos book until you decided to eat your meal while watching TV that day.

• you nearly choked when his name appeared in a headline at the bottom of the TV screen, "young prince detective gives us a live interview here at...". you couldn't believe it. of course you knew that he grew up like you did but in your mind he was just a frozen picture of him as a child. as you fully abandon your food in favor of watching the TV you hope that fate will reunite you two again.

• and fate heard your call. about a week later when school was once again starting up you lazily zombie-walked to the train station. you stood by the platform in your unbuttoned shirt and undid tie when a stranger stood next to you. you glanced over at him when you two made eye contact. if you weren't awake by know then you surely were awake now because the stranger who stood next to you in this early morning was your old childhood best friend who was seemly frozen in your mind.

• you two politely smiled at eachother, both of your minds going into overdrive seemingly trying to process something that only really you understands. it's quiet for a few seconds before akechi tilts his head a bit before saying your name with a uncertain tone. you break out into a grin and come back to life with a gentle reply of his name.

• after that encounter in the train station and a seemingly long chat until the train came you two exchanged phone numbers to catch up. almost every night he wasn't busy you'd hang out with him and talk about everything that happened with you. he'd just smile and nod along to whatever you said. the only things he'd really tell you are stories about his job and how he came to be. you'd always notice a small glit in his eye when he talked about himself, almost like he wanted to say so much more.

• and there was so much more he wanted to spill. ever since he saw you at the train station he's been overjoyed. he'd never admit this thousands of decades but he's been thinking about you since forever. he could have easily tracked you down and reached out but the part of him that says he doesn't need human relationships kept him far away from you. now that your near him again he wants to tell you every feeling he's felt since you both got split apart.

• but he's the lovely young prince detective so he must stay composed in the presence of others, so he copies your energy towards him. if you continue to be ecstatic to see him again even though you both talked yesterday then he will match that energy. if you get more and more busy with other friends and can't hang out as much then suddenly he has more work that needs to be done. he will play any role as long as someone so dear to him doesn't leave.

• why does he do this for someone that half of his heart deems unless and unnecessary? it's because he loves you. it took him quite awhile to realize this and even longer to realize that it wasn't just a strong friendship but romantic love. and what makes it stronger is that you are his family, or the closest he has to it. you've see his dear mom and knew him before he locked all his past away and that's what makes him fall for you.

• whether you love him back or stay his closest friend is all up to you. akechi is a smart man so he has backup plans for everything. if your heart loves him back then he will do the best he can to keep you away from the phantom thieves and his schemes and show you only his good side, not letting any part slip. if you two just stay friends then he has no choice but to push you away slowly. it shatters his heart but he has duties that needs to be done and he can't keep letting his past haunt him.

P5!MC

♡ This guy is literally a 'fuck you' to every man who's grossed out by their own partner being on their period.

♡ He simply, does not care. Sitting by the edge of your bed, his hand was intertwined with yours. You were dizzy, somewhat nauseous, and had world-rattling period pains just as a cute little extra. You'd complain and he'd laugh softly, giving you his extensive and genuine condolences.

♡ He'd probably try to distract you. He'd tell you about the craziest customer he had come in, or how he caught Morgana playing with one of the cat toys Sojiro had unsuspectingly bought for him.

♡ I think he'd also try to fix it through childish placebo. "If close your eyes and swallow your breath twice it'll go away." You giggle at the mere prospect. "What are you on about??" He'd laugh back, and then sigh in mock weariness. "It's like you don't want it to work."

♡ You probably won't even realise how quickly time is progressing. He is so ready to lie in your bed the entire day, you have no idea. If you have to endure it, then surely he can soften it by passing you tissues and making you laugh.

♡ He could quickly go to Le Blanc to get you something to eat or drink if you really wanted to. He'd bring back what you asked for and then some, though.

♡ He'd brush your hair, watch movies with you, read books while you took a much needed nap, and in the later hours as the sky was fully dark, he'd stay the night with you very snugly wrapped in his arms.

Goro Akechi

♡ Akechi is really, really protective of you. If not quite gentlemanly.

♡ Those he's loved have always passed him by- he's not about to let that happen with you. So expect him to be more.... gentle than usual.

♡ He'd ask you to lie down and not over exert yourself. With a gracious smile, he'd say: "We can't have you nearly passing out, can we?" Holding one of your hands and slipping his other arm around your waist, he'd help you home and to your bed.

♡ When you tell him your pain derives from a mixture of illness and period pain, he just nods. Of course, that makes a lot of sense. He shows a great amount of sympathy for your dilemma.

♡ As much sympathy as he has, he's never been in a situation quite like this. He's not sure if he should leave and give you space, or stay and keep you company.

♡ Only when he sheepishly asked and you fervently begged him to stay did he sigh softly in relief, smiling as he sat down on the edge of your bed. His fingertips brushed softly at wisps of your hair.

♡ "Please rest. I... want to see you well."

♡ He ended up falling asleep briefly after you did- head next to yours as you curled up together.

Akira Kurusu:

*Akira always enjoys hearing you sing and seeing you perform on stage!

*whenever he can, he will be there to see you perform, as he supports you no matter what! Whenever you see him in the crowd, it just makes you smile and so happy to see your boyfriend supporting you

*However, this time was a little different. You had another singer performing with you, which he wasn’t expecting since you don’t perform with others often, but he’s curious to see how it goes

*When the two of you performed, he noticed you two had great chemistry, and it made him feel a little uneasy.

*Normally, Akira doesn’t get jealous or anything like that, but seeing you two perform together just did not sit right with him, but he didn’t want to leave and make you feel bad, so he stayed until the end

*After the show was over, you had met up with him, happy to see that he was there for your performance. Akira immediately pulled you into a hug, holding you close to him. It took you a moment to realize what was going on, before you laughed a bit in response, hugging him back

*”Akira… I’m not going to leave you for them.” You have to reassure him, which doesn’t take much, but he just wants to be sure, so don’t expect him to let you go for a while.

Goro Akechi:

*Akechi does like hearing you sing and seeing you perform, even if he won’t admit this out loud

*unfortunately, he doesn’t always get to see you perform on stage, but you both know how busy he can get, so you don’t let it bother you

*However, when he is able to watch you perform, you can somehow manage to spot him in the crowd or someplace you know he would be, and it just gives you an energy boost!

*However, this time was different. You had another singer performing with you, which wasn’t very often you did.

*Akechi watched you two perform, and you two had such chemistry together, which made him quite jealous, not realizing he had balled his hands up into fists.

*You had noticed him in the crowd and his expression. Uh oh. You would make it up to him after the show, for sure.

pairing: goro akechi x gn!reader

summary: you're out on a date with your boyfriend, when you suddenly start to feel dizzy...

akechi and you had planned to go grab some ice cream today, since it was so unbearably hot outside and you needed to cool off somehow

one moment, everything seemed to be alright, as you walked next to your boyfriend and held his hand

only for you to stop a moment later and let go of his hand, causing akechi to stop as well and turn around

"are you alright…?" akechi looked at you a little confused, waiting for you to tell him what was wrong

but instead, you just slowly brought a hand to your forehead, as your legs started to tremble

you opened your lips, but no words came out of your mouth

akechi took a step closer, only for your legs to give in in that very moment

he tried to catch you before you fell, only managing to grab you by the shoulders and stopping you from falling onto the pavement, before quickly shifting his hands and placing them on your waist

"hmm…?" you mumbled, still a bit dizzy as your eyes remained closed

bypassers were starting to stare already, causing akechi to pull you closer to him and shield you from their prying gazes

"you almost passed out, my love…" akechi mumbled, not wanting anyone else to hear him

in an instance, he stepped in front of you and heaved you onto his back, before turning around and slowly walking back to your apartment

"i'll bring you home… you'll drink and eat a bit there and then you'll be better in no time!"

Akira Kurusu

the poor boy is lowkey heart broken, because you had to go through that, but he is also more determined than ever before to give you a change of heart

if this takes place before Futaba's palace, is a little confused because he previously thought only evil people have palaces. he won't judge you for having a palace and he keeps you company while also hurrying to scout out your palace to give you that well deserved change of heart

When he finds out the reason you have a palace in the first place he is incredibly upset, he would try to find (if the reason of your trauma is another person) the agressor in mementos and give them a change of heart

Once the Phantomthieves take your treasure, without much of a problem because your heart may have recognized Akira, he would spend the duration of your recovery with you

If you didn't know the Phantomthieves before, he would introduce you to them, very carefully to not freak you out to much, and you would become an honoray member (your job is to cuddle morgana)

Ann Takamaki

Ann in very understanding, if it wasn't for Akira and Ryuji she herself would probably have developed a palace, so she is determined to help you

She would spend a lot of time with you to make sure you are alrightand to keep you from isolating yourself, making her job of changing your heart a little easier for her

She is M A D when she finds out the reason you developed a palace, while she wants to cause a mental shutdown to the people responsible, she stays true to the views of the phantomthieves and just scares them a little (a lot)

after the phantomthieves take your treasure she makes sure you are alright, she visits you everyday and makes sure you can keep up with school work as well as you health

she introduces you to Morgana, as a normal cat, and she lets you cuddle with him

Goro Akechi

He is the one actually causing a mental shutdown, not giving you a mental shut down but the people responsible for your trauma, you are the only one who ever cared for him so he can't forgive those people who hurt you like that

Now he doesn't know how to proceed with the palace like the phantomthievs, he only knows how to cause a mental shutdown, as much as he hates it he annonymously posts a request to the phansite in hopes that the phantomthieves take care of his 'problem'

meanwhile he isolates himself a little from you, he is upset with mostly himself that he can't help you, he throwfs himself in his work occasionally checking if your palace is still there in hopes of it being gone

once he learns your palace is gone, he makes sure you are recovering alright, he appologizes for being distant and makes up for lost time, he also hopes that Shido doesn't become aware of your existance...but due to you having a palace he has his doubts because all the other palaces also had a connection to Shido

Akechi does his best to protect you from any harm that from now on is coming your way

Note: I love this ask because I am short af and only up to Ren and Goro's shoulders (in terms of official heights). I might've went crazy since this is something I can relate to, oops?

Akiren

Ren deeply cares for his friends and teammates alike. And that includes you, ESPECIALLY you. He finds you very adorable, and is protective of you. But he respects your space and trusts your judgment. He is the kind of boyfriend to observe you and your body language first should you encounter a shady person while he is talking to someone. If he sees you getting uncomfortable, he will intervene.

His protectiveness is amplified when you are more than a few inches smaller than him. He does not think you are fragile or anything though! Just think of it like cuteness aggression, except instead of aggression he is filled with immense feelings of overprotectiveness. He sometimes cannot resist pinching your cheeks, or patting your head. (If you let him!)

If you like wearing your boyfriend's clothes, and Ren sees you wearing one, ha! He feels like he can die happy at the sight. It makes him so happy that if this was the last thing he sees he would not regret it. (He actually said that to you).

He also does this thing where he sits with his legs far apart so he is taking most of the space. When you ask him where you will sit, he pats the space between his legs and smirks. If you do comply, he will wrap his arms around you and place his head on your shoulder. He also gives you neck kisses like this, and if you are ticklish... Good luck!

He likes helping you with whatever you need that otherwise you may have a hard time doing on your own. Like since he has longer legs, he tends to walk faster. He will try to match your pace, or hold your hand so you do not get lost. He would love to give you a piggyback ride, and when you cuddle he loves cradling you. When you ask for a kiss, he would happily bend down. He loves doing certain tasks for you, like reaching the top shelves, or seeing over a barricade. Though he may tease you about it, and fish for compliments while he is at it.

"I cannot reach the coffee beans..."

"If only you have a strong, and tall boyfriend to help you," he says with a pout and slowly bending so you are face-to-face. A silent request for a kiss.

Goro

Goro is very closed off. He usually wears a mask and puts up many walls. The only rare few that gets close to him is his rival (and arguably his best friend), and you. So naturally he fusses about you a lot. And when you are smaller than him? Oho, he is even more annoying. Like he feels like it's his responsibility to protect you because of your small stature. He kind of feels like a white knight on a cavalry horse. He likes to be the one leading in the relationship, and it feels like it with the height difference.

Other than that, he adores you a lot. Practically heart-eyes whenever he looks at you, and sometimes he has a hard time of masking it. Like he puts a hand on your shoulder, and ends up mindlessly playing with your hair. Or you loop your arm around his and intertwine your fingers, he might unconsciously rub your hand with his thumb.

If you like wearing your boyfriend's clothes, and Goro sees you wearing his clothes... He is SO proud. He will smirk at you and tease you, asking you if you missed him that much. He also adores how big it looks on you. But after the first time, he will leave some of his clothes at your place. An invite to keep wearing his clothes, and will spray some of his cologne in it.

You are both are rarely seen together in public, for obvious reasons. But away from the limelight, he is very playful. The type to play with you, like he will be asking you to get him a drink that is out of your reach ON PURPOSE (He put it there). And he finds it amusing to see you struggling. He will help you after a while and give you a kiss to make up for it. However, if other people did this to you... Well. They better ask for forgiveness. Otherwise he would not be so kind.

He really loves it when you ask for a kiss, and try to get on your toes to reach him. He will eventually give it, but he finds it really adorable and entertaining to see you trying. He likes hugging you where one hand is on your back, and the other is behind your head. It makes you feel safe, and it makes him feel grounded. That you are really here, with him. He likes spooning you in bed and burying his head at the back of your neck. He will trail kisses from your neck, down your back. He also likes when any part of you is on top of him, like maybe your hand on his thigh or your head on his shoulder.

"I feel cold."

Goro looks over, and places an arm around your shoulder while pulling you towards him. "My poor [Y/N]," he coos while lifting your legs to place on top of his and putting a blanket over the both of you.

Goro never really got the opportunity to make real friends. The people who he surrounded himself with were mostly people who just wanted to get the chance to meet the famous Detective Prince. With you, it was different. You never ask anything from him only for him to be himself.

In honesty, Goro doesn't know who "himself" really is without you. Whenever he's not around you he feels like he's an actor on one elaborate stage, all eyes on him waiting for him to fail. You instead, are like a pleasant ray on light shining down on him, allowing him to be freed from the metaphorical performance that is his life.

Goro is a totally different person around you. Even you are able to notice how scripted his life and actions seem. You can tell from a mile away how the fake smile that constantly adorns his face hurts or how badly he wants to punch the idiot talking to him by the tight fist he's balling up to his side. In turn, you allow him a much-needed reprieve from all the stress and pretending. With you, he rants about how terrible work was or how tired he is with school. With you, he gets to be his authentic self.

Goro's main way of showing affection is with gifts. Goro makes a good amount of money, and so he offers to take you shopping under the guise of just hanging out. He'll buy the first thing you look at, ignoring your protests. Goro was never taught how to show someone you care, so he gets offended when you don't except his gifts, thinking it's a fault on his part.

Manipulation is Goro's middle name. You're the first person he actually cares about to also care about him, he's not going to let that be taken from him. If push comes to shove, he's not afraid to use his trauma against you mentioning his mother's death, his father's abuse, and how without you, there would be no reason to keep going. If that didn't work, then he's willing to use the metaverse. Eliminating the shadows of people who take up too much of your time is a regular day for him. When you eventually become sad that all your friends and acquaintances go missing, he'll be there to comfort you like the great friend he is.

When the Phantom Thieves start to become an issue, he tries to keep you keep you away from it all. He doesn't want you to potentially realize their connection. When it finally becomes too much to handle, he asks for your opinion on them, and regardless of your answer, it further drives his motivation to eliminate them. If you reveal you're a fan, then he'll try and get you to realize how corrupt they are. If you reveal that you don't agree with their ideals, he's proud while mentioning vaguely that they won't be around for long.

Goro tries to keep you out of his personal life, only using his family situation as a way of keeping you with him. Goro doesn't want you to really know about how terrible his father is, afraid you'll hate him and leave. He wants so badly to have a normal life, it's not uncommon for him to stay with you and your family on weekends when he doesn't have anything to do. Instead of pretending to be some brilliant detective or the dutiful son, he gets to pretend that he's just some random kid, with a boring life, no unfathomable expectations or duties. He gets to enjoy the simple things like eating cereal in his pajamas while watching cartoons or playing video games together. He gets to be a teenager when he's with you, and he detests whenever he has to go home and face reality.

I like to believe Goro's motives eventually change. Instead of trying to please his father and do whatever he wants, he instead tries sculpting the perfect life with you. He no longer cares about his father and his ideals; he wants to run away with you and live a simple life. Regardless of if you're relationship with him is platonic or romantic, he can't see a life without you. He needs you like he needs are to breath. In a way, he's just repeating the same cycle with of toxicity he had with his father.

Goro is stubborn and he's not going to let anyone get in the way of his happy ending. Not the Phantom Thieves, not his father, not even you. You'll eventually realize how great everything will be with just you and him. While he doesn't want it to come to kidnapping, he won't hesitate to do so if you don't comply. He has everything ready; you'll eventually learn to rely on him. When it's just you and him, he'll finally be able to stop pretending.

Something about you had captivated him from the first meeting.

A stranger who sat next to him on the train when there were tens of open seats. Who looked at him with eyes that begged for help from a creep following you around. Who whispered a promise of a warm meal once the whole debacle concluded. Who he willingly went into the streets of Shibuya with, against all his mind and stomach's better judgement.

"Thank you," you said to him with the most sincerity he's ever heard from a person. "I couldn't make it up to you enough. Where do you want to go? I’ll pay for everything.”

Sincerity... that's what it was.

You were so open and true to yourself it was almost frustrating. He chalked up your kindness at your first meeting as a one off instance brought about by unsavory circumstance. But even after, at your unexpected dinner for two- you were just so, so honest.

Honest in the way you expressed the troubles in your family life. The difficulty handling the troubles in your school. The troubles of romance you've found yourself in. You were charming. Funny. Interesting.

Which is why he didn’t mind exchanging phone numbers. It’s why he didn’t mind more dinners and more train rides. It’s why he didn’t push away the kindness you’d show him and the gifts you’d give him. It’s why he started reciprocating the acts.

And it’s why a funny feeling started to grow in the hole in his chest- fighting against the urge to put all of his attention into his mission. Interest- is what he called it.

Love, is what it really was.

When you mentioned a boyfriend he was disappointed. He of course saw it coming, after you’ve spent nights complaining over growing feelings and him giving you advice in turn. But Akechi was fine with the disappointment, and he was fine admiring you from nowhere closer than across a table. Akechi would be fine just admiring from a distance.

Coming soon, he’d complete his mission and he would never see you again. Akechi chooses to ignore the bitterness that comes along with that last idea.

The more the dinners and gifts and kindness occurred, the harder his fall was to ignore. His gifts started to get more and more romantic when viewed from a certain lens, his stares started to get more and more longing. But as noticeable as it was, Akechi couldn’t help himself. You, in all of your kindness, funniness, and all of your interest, were a brevity of light in his hell of a life.

One night, you show up to dinner and say you’ve got a surprise for him.

“Oh? What’s the occasion?” A butterfly flies around in his chest and he can’t help himself but smile. Sincerely, he smiles.

“I wanted to thank you, for all the advice and help you’ve given me these past few months,” you look into his eyes and it makes his heart flutter. “Let me go get him really quick.” You stand up so quickly and he doesn’t have any time to register what you just said. Akechi sighs as he watches you leave the restaurant.

You come back and Akechi has to physically hold himself back from lunging at Ren.

Ren, who you hold hands with. Ren, who’s smiling after you. Ren, who looks at him with surprise. Ren, you boyfriend.

“Akechi?” He says, eyes widening.

“Ren.” He replies, gripping the table underneath him.

Of course.

Of course

Of fucking course.

“Oh! I didn’t know you guys knew each other,” you clap your hands with a smile, seemingly not noticing the glares emanating from Akechi.

Ren’s arm finds itself on your waist and Akechi wants to scream. “Yeah, we’re friends,” Ren’s tone is casual as he smiles at you.

“Mmhm, you could say that,” Akechi forces out a smile so insincere you can’t help but question it.

“I didn’t know Akechi was the one buying you all those gifts, treasure,” Ren says.

“And I didn’t know Ren was this boyfriend of yours, y/n,” Akechi sneers.

“Ah, sorry I never mentioned names to you guys,” you chuckle, honest to a fault. Unaware of the smugness growing within your partner. Unaware of the heartbreak that falls upon your friend.

Ren goes onto explain that you wanted to introduce your ‘two favorite boys’ to each other after months of talking about one to the other. That this dinner, which was supposed to just be you and Akechi, was going to be intruded on by Ren. He says it all with a smile that makes Akechi want to throttle him.

What a lovely surprise, Akechi thinks.

He tries to keep his cool despite the anger clawing at his chest. Betrayal from you for not telling him that this piece of garbage was your boyfriend. Envy towards Ren for having yet another thing Akechi longed to have.

Dinner concludes quicker than you pictured as Ren has a curfew to abide by. He leaves the restaurant to wait outside, you wanting to talk to your friend.

“You seemed uncomfortable with tonight, I’m sorry if I pushed this on you Akechi…” one glance at you shows all the truth in your statement and Akechi hates it.

He hates that he’s let himself trust in your honesty, in your gifts, in your dinners, in your kindness- he hates your truth and he hates this clawing in his chest.

But what kind of friend would he be if he left you feeling so guilty? After all, you’d just run into his arms afterwards.

“I was just surprised, is all. I’m sorry that I made you upset,” Akechi smiles, insincere once again.

“Are you sure?” You look at him with the most curious eyes, “I’m sorry if I made things weird by introducing him, really.”

“Please, don’t worry about it,” Akechi attempts to console you by putting a hand on your shoulder. “I’m just happy you’re happy. After all this time of complaining, haha.”

Your hand meets his and squeezes it slightly. “Thanks Akechi, it really means a lot.”

He takes one more look at you, holding his hand and smiling so, so genuinely at him.

“Anytime, y/n,” He says.

You leave the restaurant with Ren and he sees him pull you tight as you walk away. He sees the way you stare at him, lovingly, in a way that you’ve never looked at him. He sees you go to intertwine your hands. He sees Ren hold your chin and bring your face closer. Akechi looks away.

Admiring a distance is bullshit if he’s just watching you be stolen away by him. Admiring from a distance would be fine if it was anyone other than him.

It’s just gonna be one more reason as to why he needs to plant a bullet in your boyfriend’s skull.

Goro Akechi

❛ is that my shirt? ❜

Akechi freezes at the sound of your voice. “No,” he says stiffly, dropping the shirt he had been hugging onto the floor. “What are you doing here?”

You shrug. “Club got out early, so I thought I would stop by.” You walk into his room, and Akechi can’t meet your eyes.

“You should have given me notice. It’s quite rude to barge in, unannounced.”

The incriminating fabric is still pooled on the floor, but you plop down on the bed next to him without giving it a second glance. “I’ll remember next time. But you know, Goro, if you get lonely...” You pull him into a hug before he can react, and he instinctively leans into your warmth. “You can just call me.”

He holds you tightly without a word, burying his flushed face into your shoulder. Damn it. He should have never given you a spare key to his apartment... but it’s hard to regret it when you’re here with him.

Haru Okumura

The crowd swells around you, and her voice gets lost in the noise. The afternoon rush at the train station was always crowded with students and employees making their way home, rendering any conversation fruitless.

“What?” you say.

“I said--” But she’s cut off again as a man shoulders his way past the two of you without an apology.

“I’m so sorry,” you yell. “Maybe we should move somewhere else.”

Haru looks down, and you try to shove your way closer to her. Someone curses at you, but you ignore them as you lean towards Haru-- and then she slips her hand into yours, fingers lacing together as she tugs you closer.

“We should hold hands for now. It’s too crowded,” she says, giving you a brilliant smile. All you can do is nod in response, face warm, as she leads you through the crowds.

Rise Kujikawa

❛ i was worried something happened to you. ❜

Rise flings her arms around you, ignoring Teddy’s and Yosuke’s protests as she barrels past them. You’ve just finished a particularly dangerous dungeon, and the scrapes and bruises littering your body seems to have incensed Rise’s sudden outburst.

“I’m okay, Rise,” you reassure her. It’s hard to return her hug when she has a death grip on your torso, but you manage to maneuver your arms around her.

“You! And Chie! and Yosuke! You’re way too reckless! Next time, you have to be more careful. Promise?”

“I promise,” you say. “I’ll always make it back to you, okay? No matter what.”

For a little while, it’s just the two of you, lost in your own little world... if you can just ignore Chie yelling at Yosuke and Teddy for making gagging noises at you and Rise.

Akihiko Sanada

❛ i’m here for you. don’t forget that. ❜

Akihiko clears his throat, the sound echoing in the empty classroom. He had offered to wait until your clubs were done so the two of you could walk home together, and now, he sits perched on the edge of a desk as you pack up.

“What brought this on?” you tease him, sliding your notebooks into your bag. “Did something happen while I was gone?”

“No, it’s just... You’ve been working really hard lately, and... it’s a lot, right? The Tartarus expeditions on top of work, and clubs, and school.”

“I’m okay! You and Mitsuru work twice as hard as I do, anyways. I can handle this much.”

Your words haven’t convinced Akihiko, who watches you with frustration. Before you can react, he leans in and kisses you. Your pencil case falls to the floor with a thump, but neither of you pays it any mind as he pulls back, resting his forehead against yours.

“I mean it,” he murmurs. “If you need anything at all, you have to tell me. Your burdens are my burdens. Don’t forget that.”

His eyes are clear as you breathe a soft “okay” against his lips, and you lean in to kiss him again.
