Then JK on the other hand- he doesn't say much, you don't see him consulting or trying to reason through decisions with Jimin- he's not asking Hey JM would like my jacket you seem cold, he's just commanding him to take it because he's cold. He's not asking, do you want help with that box it looks heavy, he's taking it from him whether Jimin likes it or not because he's a gentleman.

He isnt much of a negotiator like Jimin is. And that's what makes them unique from any other ship. This dynamic they have- and its unique to Jikook and Jikook alone. I don't see Jk like this with anybody else.

And I wouldn't say that makes JM better than him or vice versa because it boils down to differences in their personalities. they express themselves in different ways because they are different.

Also permit me to overstep, most times I find persons who are able to flirt shamelessly but act shy when they are being treated the same do so out of one or a combination of the following reasons: self projection. They project themselves on the other person and judge themselves from that perspective. So they might be thinking damn that's so cringey, do I look this cringy when I do it etc. They shy because they self criticizing.

Then there are those who don't project necesarily but still engage in critiques and judgements of the situation especially if they think they themselves are better at flirting than their partner, or if they think their partner is doing too much, going outside their personality, faking things, copying them, or just being cringe. The opposite of that is putting your partner on a pedestal and thinking damn they hot, or they good at this, almost idolizing them in a way that inspires you to be more like them because you find whatever it is attractive and want to attract them too. My question is this: do you know if anything special happened in 2017 that Namjoon gifted that fancy ring to Jimin. I wasn't part of the fandom back then, I know you weren't too, but you maybe seen some content that I haven't.

I don't think anything specifically big happened or was mentioned to/about Jimin in 2017. I just think Jimin and Joon are best fucking friends. Lol they connect so well and Joon leans on Jimin a lot at times, and vice versa. Jimin also got lots of fancy and expensive gifts in 2016 from various members too (the big ones mentioned specifically that year being YG and Tae!) I think that maybe Joon just thought it would be a really good gift for him. I don't want to get into it TOO much because it's all just.... speculation and rabbit hole spiraling.... lol but he either 1) saw it and thought Jimin would love it, 2) Jimin mentioned an express interest and wanting it and Joon said "fuck it, imma get it for him, he deserves it" or 3) my jikook heart is relating it to jikookery and Joon participating when the other 2 options are MUCH more likely. BUT Jimin was seen wearing a Cartier nail ring in 2016 at the airport! With all his other own personal clothing and style etc. So one can assume that it was HIS personal ring. It is rumored it was a gift given to him at a fan meeting. A ring that he wore in 2016 before Joon gifted him a similar one, but this time with his initials engraved in it. For example, If a run ep/any content showed a little bit more of vmin, it will somehow highlight jikook or taekook next. I think the first major thing we need to remember is that BH is a company, and a company’s main purpose, above all else, is to generate revenue. Which isn’t a bad thing in this case seeing as, depending on how much BH makes, so do the members since their contracts, compared to others in the same industry, have some great percentages in their favor.

With that in mind, the answer to your question is a very simple and straight forward yes. BH monitors and plans things accordingly to please (paying) costumers, in the context of this answer, shippers. Fan service and showing certain interactions in certain ways are a great marketing tool that every idol agency uses for decades now, it isn’t anything new or revolutionary in any shape or form, though it’s clear that the type of fan service the BTS members do nowadays has changed in comparison to earlier years, like Jimin being required to perform shirtless at an award show.

In the context of this answer when using “ship”, I simply mean two members interacting with each other and are liked together by a certain community of people, and not actual pairs that have (in my opinion) chances or signs of being real (in a romantic sense) at all, except for vmin and namjin, since those are the only two we see as fulfilling that criteria of romantic potential and are the only two we focus on on this account. But that at large is a post/discussion for another time.

When it comes to showing different interactions between ships, or even really any kind of duo or trio in the group, editing and what does and doesn’t get shown certainly plays a role and follows some kind of idea as well. A good example of that would be how following the release of Dynamite there was a bigger “focus” on J*k*ok, seeing as they had their own moment together in the choreography and we were shown more of their interactions/”moments” in content around that time. But, while that satisfied one major ship and its devotees, it didn’t satisfy another, so it needed to be balanced out. Which is exactly what BH did.

If you look at the Break the Silence: Persona movie commentary done by the members, the maknaes sit together in the middle of the sofa (and the screen) with JK between vmin, meaning that both major ships could pay attention to their two members and be “pleased” at the same time by any and all interactions or “moments”. A counter argument to moments involving all three of them working in a positive manner would be the Dynamite performance at Jimmy Fallon (x) that ended with the members skating around on roller-skates where at one point the maknaes were together, JK holding Tae’s wrist while Jimin had his hands on Tae’s hips (?). It was a cute and funny moment of them just helping Tae since he can’t skate, but it caused a plethora of negative/awful reactions among those who ship one and the other “main” maknae ship with, in both cases, either Jimin or Tae being on the receiving end of awful accusations, insults, and alike. Then again, to balance out J*k*ok Dynamite content, we can look at the BE-hind Story video where JK and Tae sat together and were seen interacting more, while Jimin interacted more with Yoongi, where Yo*nm*n is also a rather popular ship.

Perhaps it sounds mean or calculated or like I’m badmouthing other ships as just “tools”, but the thing we have to keep in mind is that every piece of content is planned in a certain manner (BTS are seven people after all so you can’t just tell them to do something and hope it’ll just magically work out somehow), is filmed by a giant crew of staff from stylists to PDs and lighting crews, and while there are certainly also genuine interactions between the members, simply because they enjoy spending together and interacting, being close and have no issue touching each other etc, many of these things are not really anything that would really count as “intimate” moments due to the nature of the content itself. But shippers oftentimes ignore that in favor of enjoying whatever content of their ship they are given, which makes sense, as vminnies and namjinists we do too, but we also know that BH certainly has a hand in what is and isn’t shown, and the way in which it is shown.

Look at the trailer for Memories of 2019 and the famous J*k*ok moment that was front and center. From a marketing standpoint it was a genius move since it made sure that shippers would go and buy the DVD regardless of its price. Look at what we’ve gotten for Winter Package 2021 so far, J*k*ok being playful in the trailer, T*ek*ok squished together in the picture on IG, and J*k*ok next to each other, along with Seokjin, in the preview pictures on Weverse. Of course, there was also a picture of Yoongi and Hoseok together (a popular ship) as well as Namjoon with Yoongi and Namjoon with Tae (far less popular), but those three aren’t really selling arguments the way the major maknae ships are. Even vmin isn’t, seeing as the vmin community is much, much smaller than the other two maknae ships, and also vmin moments are often times written off as ‘friends’ interacting anyway and thus not taken seriously (or being paid attention to), if you know what I mean.

(Admin 1: I, for one, would really love to own the 5th Muster DVD because I love the concert itself but also because the famous vmin dancing together to Spring Day sequence is immortalized in picture form in the photobook, so I’m not innocent or “different” in any way since I fall for this marketing stuff just as much as everyone else.)

But on the other hand, there’s also content that isn’t as controlled by BH as pre-recorded and edited videos or DVD’s, as in their vlives or live content, like the BE/LGO release day vlive in pajamas where, sure, the members were given a general plan of what they’ll be doing and a timeframe for it, but certain things seemed more spur-of-the-moment and unplanned, like the vmin lipstick moment (Tae putting on the lipstick was planned, but the final executions likely wasn’t) and the way the other members reacted to it. Or things they do at concerts, which some of it is surely also rehearsed and planned, we saw Hoseok ask JK if he’d do a heart with him at some point during one of the concerts, as example, or Tae and Seokjin planning their typical moment that happened at every concert, but other ones are more in the moment and not controlled.

When it comes to concert DVDs, that is again a different story seeing as a camera can only show as much at a time, so the editors are presented all the footage from the concert and then decide which to show and which not. So, if we see an interaction between JK and Hoseok, for example, at the same time somewhere else Namjoon might be dancing with Seokjin or vmin could be doing something, but we’d simply never know since they can’t show us everything.

That, in a way, is also the case with actual concerts where there’s a difference, somewhat, between concerts that get filmed for DVDs or streamed online, and those that are not. Something that comes to mind would be a vmin moment during Best of Me in Busan on the day that didn’t get filmed where they skipped the first half of the choreography and vmin stood together, half of that sequence being just visible in the background while JK is the primary focus of the cameras that are shown on the side screens, and this whole thing only happened this one time and never again. (x) That’s a moment that, in my opinion, isn’t planned, or other similar moments where vmin change the choreographies (even if just a little) to do something together, like during Spring Day during WINGS Tour Final where Jimin adjusted his solo moment so that he ended up in front of Tae. (x)

There’s also this whole mythos I’ve heard/read about a lot about how supposedly at some of the not filmed Japanese concerts (where I’m not sure if people mean LY:SY or just LY) had some crazy moments between the members (in the sense of “ship” moments and alike) BUT I couldn’t find any proof of that, so if someone perhaps knows anything about this, let me know.

Finally, there’s also things like Bon Voyage and In the SOOP which, you’d expect that they would be less edited and less controlled, but even here a selection takes place of which scenes are shown and which are not. Something I find interesting is how the first half of In the SOOP feels very different to how the second half does when they return to the house after being gone for a few days. In the first half vmin (as well as namjin) seemed to “satellite” around each other and interact much more, playing ping pong or doing things together in some shape or form, but in the second half that was (nearly) completely gone and neither interacted much with each other, if at all. We even had Jimin who outright refused to join Tae and Hoseok on their car adventure, or we saw Seokjin wake up Namjoon to go jogging yet never got to see said jogging happening (if it did happen, that is).

So, to sum all of this up: Yes, BH definitely monitors and guides the way certain things are and aren’t shown in order to achieve certain things or avoid certain reactions, though it’s a complex balancing act and doesn’t always work out. There are things that are unplanned and not controlled, of course, but there’s also a fair amount of marketing play involved. 

After all BTS aren’t rookies anymore, instead they are giant household names and their actions and words move people, move money, and on top of that they are still idols, and part of what it means to be an idol is differentiating between your idol appearance/persona (so what we see in screen) and your personal private life, which is usually kept as secret as only possible. How much they themselves choose to share of their real selves and real feelings toward each other is up to them (as well as up to BH and how much they “allow” them to/don’t edit out). But that, too, is a whole other discussion for another time.

Be on top of his games. Watch his shows. Check in, but only at the right times. Henry grinded his teeth. It was almost like he had a son again- dear god, this truly was hell, wasn’t it? For a moment he had thought the Helpy robot was joking as he elaborated on what the damn plastic piece of shit’s mechanic was- No. No cursing. He shook his head. That was being petty for no reason. He had a mechanic- and it was a stupid one- but that was better than nothing. It was better than being told “you will die” without being able to do anything about it. For a moment he frowned, a though manifesting itself in the back of his mind. … if he would know there was no way to escape the pain, he would grow numb to it. So whoever or whatever set this up seemed to have a keen interest in- The clock chimed, it was time to play. Instantly he pulled up the monitor. He had been gifted the leeway of being allowed to eradicate one of them- and dear god, he would not say no, not if it was the only chance to give a little bit of payback. He checked on Toy Freddy- a good contender to be murdered- and clicked the door of the- vacuum cleaner- dear god, this would make his brain rot- then he moved on to more sensible things, like checking on Foxy, who was thankfully out, then moving over to gathering coins. Laughter from the door. “Mister Miller… look at you. You seem stressed.” “Why yes, I am quite tense.” Without looking up he closed the doors, opening them up right away. “I have to admit to my distain of the character selection that currently is coming after me. They make no sense, you see?” Another, similarly as deep voice sounded, albeit with a brighter tint to it- “… oh, don’t be ashamed of that, Mr. Miller. They have more distain for you than you do for them.” Once more, doors closed, doors open. He didn’t even need to look. “I can assume that, yes, but that is hardly my issue, is it now? My issue is their reality bending and tedious habits.” For this round he would be stuck on the cameras, wouldn’t he? Once more he flipped over to Foxy, gathering coins and being quietly thankful for the fact that he and Bonnie had not switched places yet. He had to get this done in the first time-warped hour and if he didn’t- he wasn’t sure when exactly the clock would move over and he didn’t want to find out. The nightmare duo was chuckling, so he shortly put the monitor down to look inside of Nightmare Fredbear’s red eyes. “… what are you supposed to be?” “You have never truly understood your own creation, did you…? If it lives… it changes…” “The only nightmare I ever created were the suits and-“ He turned to the other side, spotting the more pinkish eyes shining from that frame. “… you. Are you not supposed to be me?” “I think you can answer that yourself.” Shaking his head, Henry dismissed both of them, closing the doors and opening the camera feed, checking once more on Foxy, helping out Toy Freddy and finally snatching up the last few coins he needed- instantly he moved over to the price corner, ordering one of the silver coins- His eyes darted to the clock- Oh god, only a few more moments before the timer skipped- The pink hellfox was peering out of its cove, grinning widely- a grin that instantly was replaced by an agonized and hateful scream as Henry used the coin, allowing himself for a moment to watch the machine literally being disintegrated into clear silver dust. From the side, Nightmare Fredbear chuckled. “… how cruel.” “This is a dog-eat-dog world. You should not try to inflict onto others what you are not willing to go through yourself.” “Oh? Are you ready for what is coming for you then?” Abruptly Henry started laughing, as he once more checked on Foxy, then moved to Toy Freddy. “What? What is coming for me? Being brought back to Fredbear’s, except this time I am immortal, have inhuman strength and can start honing my ability to move whatever I desire with my mind? What a terrible fate you are threatening me with, Nightmare! I am appalled! How dare you gift me with everything I have ever wanted!” One last time he switched back to Foxy, then deactivated the monitors, assuming it was best to be on Foxy’s camera right away, so when he pulled the camera back up- His eyes fell on the little figure of Bonnie that was now on the table. For the love of god, how could he have been that stupid!? Looking up at Nightmare Fredbear’s red eyes, he saw a bit of bemusement in it- that and a deep, underlaying level of pure disgust. “… will you ever learn, Mr. Miller? Will you ever realize that the resistance you have been met with was not from nowhere? Will you learn that you cursed them?” “NONSENSE.” Henry HISSED. “I considered you smart. I was wrong. The only reason the children were struggling against me because I could not yet accommodate them well enough- propaganda against me and my mission was spread. William seemed to have been just fine with his joke of a family that he had gotten himself in a flight of passing fancy. What made him different?!” There was only silence from the outside, as Henry glanced once more at the figure. Still Bonnie and it wouldn’t change. Muttering more so to himself than to the Fredbear, he stressed his point. “Nature has turned on me for taking what I desired, much like the ocean, the skies and the land has turned against humanity at every opportunity. Even in the different religious texts, humanity and to steal and take with violence what it needed to become what it was meant to be. One god banished the species in fear of them becoming immortal, much like the being itself- another wanted to deny us fire as petty retaliation, because fire brings creation- and it had to be taken back by theft.” Not quite, but close enough. He didn’t want to recount the stories. “… if you want to grow, you have to feed, and if you feed, you destroy. And so, destruction brings new creation. We feed off the old gods and create new rules. Nature does not like to be controlled and abused- all it wishes is to slowly burn itself out. Until nothing is left. But we humans preserve- we are a species who is so defenseless, yet have made it this far, by preserving knowledge, by learning early, early and as much as we can- eventually however it will come to a standstill. You can only learn so much with the time given. Until said time become infinite. Some ills of humanity can only be cured by allowing humans to permanently remain and learn. For that we need immortality.” There still was only silence and he sighed- He had wasted too much time. The Bonnie figure was still there, but he might as well get it over with, he wouldn’t get around him disabling the cameras. Quickly he closed the door to the left side where he knew Nightmare Fredbear was waiting, pulling up the cameras, to Bonnie’s aggressive scream- But before he could really boot the thing up, a giant black paw came from above grabbing the little tablet, cracking it. The Amalgamation was towering over him, black fur and metal broken up by the silver shine of its teeth. Baffled for a few seconds, Henry looked at him. “I… did not hear you.” “The others are not your problem anymore, are they now?” With its vile grin it picked Henry up by the head, an incredibly painful experience, playfully throwing him against the wall with full force- a crack was sounded and as Henry tried to stumble back on his feet, he quickly realized he couldn’t- something was damaged, so badly that the pain was too much- His head was still sharp though, the white pain barely being fended off by his mind trying to figure out how this creature could be HERE- It had been HIM, it was HIM, what would make him want to- Blood was dripping from out his mouth, tasting disgustingly mechanical- “… you… you are supposed to be ME-“ Smiling the monstrous bear-esque beast picked him up, causing another wave of incoherent, glowing pain to wash through Henry, his whole chest being just enough to fill the Amalgamation’s hand. “I was you. We have seen all your thoughts, all your ideas, we have shaped, and we have remembered. You are me. And we crave violence, Mister Miller. Your words were pretty to hear, but we do not believe them. We know what we are- a monster who thinks of itself too highly, an animal unable to resist the siren call of violence and blood. Our creation has not made us better than all the monsters we feared becoming. There is only one difference between us… … I am not ashamed of my needs anymore.” With that he started pulling on Henry’s arm, pulling as the delirious man convulsed under him- Ready to take a bite out of it. “But I do love creation too… and I cannot wait to see what we will turn you into. The brain is moldable, Henry. It does fantastical things under pain and pressure…” His other claw was digging into the human’s head. The other was pulling the now separated arm to his maw, biting down with a sickening, wet crunch. Happily he sighed. The few seconds of Henry’s awareness that were left only wondered quietly if his parts being consumed would mean he would never get them back- The Amalgamation seemed to hear the thought, grinning at him with its now stained teeth. “I will vomit you back… to relieve your horror…” … with that Henry faded.

I may be the only one who thought of that throughout this episode.

It appears that the Louds are constantly lying to each other on a daily basis, and child genius Lisa has taken notice of such actions. Between Lori not giving Lana a ride to the dump, Leni dying her hair orange (which honestly doesn't look bad), and even refusing Lynn Sr's cooking, this whole family just won't stop fibbing. Lisa isn't having any of it, so she constructs a pair of lie-detecting glasses so that the fam tell nothing but the truth (I guess secretly giving everyone a truth serum was far too cliché). However, that may be more trouble than it's worth.

Funny how Lisa, of all people, couldn't deal with fibs within the family, yet she's just as guilty as the rest of them (see "Lock and Loud" as an obvious example). Nevertheless, I can see that she has good intentions, but she seems to miss the mark as always. Being honest is hard as hell for anyone as it can change things here and there, and that proves true near the end of the episode. At least it gave me some chuckles, especially the truth-telling montage. Pretty solid episode, I may say.

Hmm.........I wonder how a Loud House/Ace Attorney crossover would look.......

Lincoln and Clyde in Smash confirmed!

Jk, jk, but could you imagine?

We join the duo as Clyde is playing games on the new Snap......something handheld. However, he and his dads are unplugging for the next day so he won't be playing it then. Lincoln (sporting his new voice from what it sounds like) then offers to borrow it for tomorrow, but Clyde seems rather hesitant about doing so (with how savage the Loud kids are, I don't blame him). He lets Lincoln borrow the Switch expy anyway. Unfortunately, after a looping nightmare of chaos, Clyde decides to go over to Casa Loud to keep watch over his device.

I can relate to this so well. Even I was reluctant in letting someone borrow anything gaming related because you never know if you'll get it back, so I can see where Clyde's coming from about it. With that massive family prone to fighting over "anything", that handheld could've been destroyed in a "snap". That alone makes it hard to trust something with your best bud for a day. I gotta say, the lengths he went through to keep it safe were a bit much, albeit a bit funny. Not a fantastic episode, but I'd say it's okay. Quite relatable, that's for sure.

Also, I didn't think I'd be interested in a Loud House/Ninja Turtles crossover idea, but Nick just made me want it. Maybe that could be a good superhero episode.

Time to see how Lynn can handle babysitting as "Sitting Bull" is next. I can't wait!

Tbh this memories jkk were nothing special. We got some moments here and there but actually speaking rest all members and pairs do have these moments. JK did carried jimin 3-4 times but he also carried Tae very easily. And did you saw how fast and easily he jumped on JK ? So it happened several times. JK just carries jimin more often coz he's lighter - paper doll in JK's words. Even you and other jkkers have the same opinion that there was nothing 'eyebrow raising' or 'couply' happening in this memories other than 2 close friends hanging out. So on what basis we still think jkk are a 'couple' because saying content of 9 years is waste because relationships does evolve and change. As of now, we are seeing just 2 friends..

I don't like comparing their relationships here. They are apples and oranges. They all go nicely together in a giant fruit basket but are so drastically different in such an easy to see way, why sit and compare them? It's adorable. It's cute. I should be able to leave it at that without people like you insisting on more. But sure, let's talk about it. Let's talk about how comfortable Jimin looks up there. How we didn't see how he got up there, just that he has been up there long enough for JK to be running around, spinning and giggling. The face grabbing and silliness is adorable. He's got a grip on Jimins legs that aren't going anywhere and Jimin has his feet tucked behind his back, like he knows how to sit up there comfortably without going anywhere. The trust is implicit as JK runs around the practice room. Like you said, it's clear this has been done several times (you just mistakenly said it about the wrong duo, or maybe you meant both. In which case, carry on.) Tae jumps up onto his shoulder by surprise. You see JKs hands fly up to catch him and their laughter about it afterwards. What I take from this.... oh sorry, I forgot you like the word we to make it sound like we are 🎶all in this together🎶What WE can take from this is that 1) Tae has got mad hops. Damn. 2) JK is strong AF man's barely budged. I'm impressed. 3) JKs surprise followed by amusement and happiness and Taes proud of himself smile are evident and clear to see. This to me does not speak of something that happens all the time, but something fun and silly that JUST happened and they are enjoying. Not to say it hasn't happened before, of course it has, but saying several times, or all the time is a stretch.

Just appreciate a moment without needing to compare it. It's possible. I promise. But trying to shove comparisons at ME is never going to work. Sorry. The taekook shoulder ride from memories gave me impulsive playful behavior (similar to jikook, but not the same) that took JK off guard and then they laughed and moved on. Tae didn't look like he was settling in up there for any period of time. JK made no move to get him off but nor did he make a move to keep him there other than holding on to catch him (duh). The comfort in their ending pose at the end of that jump was not the same. It gave the same impulsive silliness as the baepsae piggyback jump from them to me (also was Tae being silly during a dance practice). But let's not compare so we can just appreciate how cute taekook are together. Right?

I've been admiring Jikook's bond for quite some time now and at first i was quite sceptic about it being more cause I've never been the "ship" kinda person, but now I'm almost 98% there really is something special between them and while reading other people's opinions I've come to notice that almost everyone feels that vibe and specific tension between the two of them that we don't see in any other bts relationship.

Jungkook is waaay more... chilled when he interacts with Hobi and Jin, the two members he's more tactile with I'd say, but damn, whenever he's close to Jimin I can literally feel the tension through the screen. We know they're close, probably the closest, so why is it that with Hobi and Jin or even Tae there's no tension, but with Jimin there's always this specific vibe? It's just so obvious sometimes. And we get to see like 1/78 of their day, so imagine Jikook behind the scenes. And this is just one thing, let alone the way they speak to each other and the things they've said and done. Agh, they're literally so adorable, i love what they have and I'm so happy they have each other. I wish I could tell them how loved and supported they are.

And it shocks me how underrated and hell, hated they are. (I hope this is just an i-army thing and that k-army treats them better, but unfortunately i don't know much about how k-army perceives the two of them in general)

I honestly had more hope and trust in the new generations. I'm a 90s kid and my peers are finally making the difference when it comes to basic human rights like loving who you freaking wanna love. So why are the younger generations this homophic when it comes to Jikook? Is it really homophobia or do they feel like they're playing dolls when they "ship" band members? Is it just a preference thing as in "Tae and Jk are my faves so they have to be together"? Cause i honestly I'm at loss when i read the things i read online about Jikook.

Why is it specifically them? This will always haunt the freaking shit out of me. How can one not love and RESPECT every single relationship between the 7 members when one listens to BTS' music and what they stand for as a group?

As for what that tension is between Jikook that all the other duos are lacking whenever they get super touchy with each other? Lmao well... in my opinion anon, that would be the sexual tension.
