so i think that iwaizumi cares WAY too much about the world cup and oikawa does not care in the LEAST.

still, though, he watches every game with iwaizumi because he loves how excited iwaizumi gets about it all. he makes up opinions on the games just to get iwaizumi fired up ("it was offsides, that was a bullshit goal" "you don't even know what that means" "it was! i saw it!" "it was NOT!! that was a GOAL! international sports tournaments are some of the few things that can really get iwaizumi truly hyped up like this, and oikawa loves to watch it happen. so he'll stay up late or wake up early to cuddle with iwaizumi while they watch, until iwaizumi inevitably gets too passionate and has to stand up and pace and wave his arms around ("it is five am iwa. calm down." Tried My Hand at Iwaoi Fanart

Going pretty good I'd say, I was scared Iwaizumi would turn out wonky but he actually looks pretty good!

on the other hand Oikawa's face actually turned out wonky so yeah I have to fix that 😭 But I got the hair down!! PS this is for a post canon au I'm planning where Oikawa and Iwaizumi end up losing contact somewhere through college, and then years later Oikawa is forced to come back to Japan (from Argentina) to recover from an injury. Its not totally canon compliant in that, while iwaizumi does go to America, he doesn't become a physical trainer, still working on his job lol.

everyone involved in the monster match event has at least a tiny little crush on iwaizumi.

because, let’s be honest, how could anyone not? he’s competent at his job, caring of his friends and the athletes, has his own brand of sense of humor. oh, and he’s hot as fuck. try not stuttering and blushing when he’s using those strong hands to help you stretch. it’s impossible.

iwaizumi doesn’t know. he’s always been sort of dense in this aspect, doesn’t realize when people have a crush on him or that he’s perceived as hot at all.
