baby guild :)
aka the timber scouts! they're basically just a bunch of kids in a sort of guild prep-course. so, not a real full official guild, but functions like one. all the kids have different woodland animal gimmicks to go with the scout vibe. They have a very loose shared uniform too, they're pretty much allowed to customize however they want as long as they keep the white button-up, brown outerwear, dark brown bottoms, and brown boots. also like a lot of kids in other guilds, their weapons are toys or otherwise "safter" items. But that's pretty much all! They aren't super deep characters, but more general info still under the cut :p

Not to admit defeat this late in the game but i don't think i can keep up with OcTober anymore cuz its 10PM and i don't have today's drawing even started, and I probably won't start on it tonight either.
I got more oc's than i expected, which is great! But i can't keep up with it all in the time that i have, i can't even keep up with the ones that were supposed to fit into the final days of October.
so yeah, drawings won't be daily, they'll get posted when they get posted ykno? i'll be messaging the folks who are waiting on oc's to let them know, this is more of a general statement for my followers and such

I think with my OCs I've talked about how the ones who were raised in the guild since very young ages (like, babies and toddlers) pretty much see each other as siblings, especially those who are close in age, since they were raised together. The strength of applying the "sibling" label varies, since the guild itself is family more in the communal sense rather than the literal "nuclear family roles" sense. At times labels like "granny" for Venus are moreso shorthand for that sort of dynamic. But that being said there are absolutely characters that do see each other as literal siblings, regardless of blood relation, and this isnt something I want overlooked- I feel like I have mostly talked about this in regards to Saiph Mira and Felis, but I wanna ramble about ALL of the characters in this specific group of Kids Raised In The Guild.... So if anyone cares I'm doing it now.
Felis is basically the oldest out of this "current" generation of guild kids at 24. Followed by Saiph (19), then Mira (18), then Shaula (15), Capella+Alcor (both 12), and Noctua at the youngest (6).
Since she's the oldest, Felis also basically sees herself as responsible for the others to some degree, especially since when she was younger she was like a little assistant to Vesta in the healing office/nursery.
Saiph and Mira are both very close in age, and were both brought in at the same time, so they just ended up being very close in general. Felis also ended up close with them but definitely still sees them as Babies (even now that they're all young adults). Saiph especially took to seeing Felis as a role model. But the issue is these three are all messed up in the head in very specific ways, that in the older two manifests as recklessness, while in Mira's case it's more suppression. I could get into the lore there, but I mostly wanna just give some context to talk about the Younger one's relations.
So, Shaula, who was too young to really get what was going on when they were dealing with that whole ordeal, didn't get the direct ramifications of their emotional dysfunctions. As the leader of her own little team, she actually sees her older siblings as being very cool and competent, and she tries to emulate them in missions. Unfortunately, like I said, the eldest two are incredibly reckless. In Shaula's case this manifests as less "borderline suicidality" and more "teenager who thinks they're the main character so nothing bad can ever happen to them" but it's still concerning among the others.
Capella and Alcor are even younger- they're STILL kids! They can't go on real missions or anything, so they see all the others as being both Very Cool but Frustrating for not bringing them along!!! They wanna be cool heroes too and don't like being left out. Even Shaula gives them speeches about back when she was a young child like them (3 years ago). Still, these two are definitely the trouble makers of the guild, but they're also definitely not as ready as they think. Capella is also a bit of a special case, since despite being raised by the guild, she's not an orphan! Her dad's in it too! This doesn't create a level of disconnect between her and the others though- if anything it just means her dad ended up playing a paternal role in a bunch of other kids lives too.
And the youngest is Noctua! He's reserved, and selectively mute, but that doesn't mean he doesn't also have a relationship with his siblings. Felis specifically has a bit in common with him- as a child she dealt with traumatic muteness so now as an adult she's the most capable of communicating with him. (Same goes for Ran, who doesn't have a mouth. But she isn't included in this bunch since she joined when she was 11 and mainly spends time with Vela at sea) The others know a bit too by extent, though Saiph describes it as being more able to understand it than actually do it yourself. In Noctua's case it helps him connect with the others in a way that isn't overstimulating (what with telepathy and such) and also just shows they care to connect with him too. Since he's the baby he's pretty pampered- it's the "he asked for no pickles" meme with all the others. Right now he's serving the role that Felis used to, as the healing room's little helper, mostly just because that's where he prefers to hang out. Please watch your step for any medical equipment he decided to line up on the floor.
