Batilde Cassandusk is a half vampire half boogeymonster, born in 1636 in Italy and then grew up in the monster world, she's a young adult but still looking like a teen.

Her father was the italian boogeyman and her mother is the vampire protagonist of the gothic novella by Sheridan Le Faun, and she often fights with Dracula for the title of PFFT cause "her novel is 25 years older".

Batilde is a demisexual genderfluid lesbian and goes by she/they pronouns. She's autistic and struggles with depression and social anxiety. Her pet is a norwegian tricolor cat named Elin.

As a half boogeymonster Batilde can appear as an animal in the dream world, specifically a raccoon. This also affects her vampiric bat transformation, causing her to have a raccoon tail and face even when in bat form.

She's fond of magic, which monster's society dislike, and is secretly studying it with Draculaura, her witchcraft buddy despite their parents' animosity towards each other.

Her BFFs are Elissabat, Ghoulia Yelps and Deuce Gorgon, Twyla Boogeyman is her little cousin, she has a crush on Venus McFlytrap and is a big fan of Operetta, Ghoulilah Bon and Taygore Swift.

Au where Steve was always able to talk to ghosts. He talks to his grandparents regularly, his granny thought him italian when he was little (I do love a italo-american Steve), and how to cook something easy when his parents started to go on longer work trips when he was thirteen. He watched old movies he found in the basement, and soon found out they were his grandpa's. After that, whole afternoons spent watching old westerns on the tv with Otis.

Steve being able to talk to Barb, telling her stories of what's happening, buying the books she wanted to buy but hadn't had the time to, reading them with her, let her cry and scream at the unfairness that was her death- she just wanted to have fun, to be seen and be with Nancy and-. He always cried with her, but rarely said anything. She needed someone to listen to her.

Steve screaming at the others that Eddie wasn't dead, he couldn't be, because he tried to contact him, and he couldn't and that has got to mean something . He would know, he would know, he would know, why don't they trust him?!

Steve deciding to go back to the Upside Down, and not finding Eddie's body. He knew it. But the smugness ended quickly, because if Eddie wasn't there, then where the fuck was he? What had happened?

He soon finds out when a creature with leathery wings and sharp teeths breaths down on the back of his neck, startling him from his panicked thoughts. "Stevie..."

I think so much about like, what Marius saw in Daniel's blood when they'd drink from each other, and what he saw of Armand, and how it changed his idea of who Armand was, to be able to see him as a dominant, as a monster, as someone powerful and frightening. And it makes me wonder about like, how much of the sex stuff did he see, and what did he think of it, did he feel he played a part in it, of making Armand this way?

And I wonder, thinking about Armand as the dominant, did Marius already know that potential was in him? Not just being a vampire and being the immortal half of the couple, but thinking back to the question of who is the other's slave, and who is really charge, who holds real power when you're so obsessed with somebody, and when you respect their fragility; in both cases, the immortal caved at the idea of losing their weak little human.

There's so many ways that Marius never saw Armand as a complete person (he even admits this in TVA, that line about not loving Armand as respectfully as Armand loved B+S) and I think so often about how much context Daniel would've provided.

It works both ways, too, like Daniel seeing Marius's memories of Armand and seeing him as a messy human. It's just so powerful to me to ask how their memories and respective relationships with Armand puzzle together!!!!!!!!!
