he needed to tell her...what? that she was lovely and brave and better than anything he deserved. that he was twisted, crooked, wrong, but not so broken that he couldn't pull himself into some semblance of a man for her. that without meaning to, he'd begun to lean on her, to look for her, to need her near. he needed to thank her for his new hat

I am a firm believer that while Inej is away at sea, she sends Kaz weekly letters about her endeavors. sometimes she attaches a package, often including a new hat for him, but no matter what, he always keeps every single one. it doesn't matter if she wrote 15 pages or 1 paragraph. they all go in a box he keeps in his room, and he reads them over and over when he's missing her too much. just to see her handwriting again

it would be so interesting to explore how the wilmon dynamic/relationship would be different if they hadn't become friends and kissed prior to erik's death. if it's only after the funeral that they grow close. if wille felt so alone in his grief and drifted towards the other loner at hillerska, found himself opening up to simon of all people. maybe instead of partying with the society he would go for dinner at the erikssons' house and later when they were sitting on the floor in simon's bedroom, playing video games, simon would feel wille's shoulder shaking and look over to see him crying. simon would take care of wille, wouldn't be able to help it, would fall for him, would worry about acting on his feelings when wille is wracked with grief. what different walls would wille have up to try to deny his feelings for simon, if he were already in the role of crown prince?

*clears throat* in the first episode of Under the Skin, Du Cheng is shown zipped up in a suitcase, submerged underwater in his bathtub, which he did to himself and by himself in order to prove a point about a case. Later, Shen Yi, after almost drowning and being rescued by Du Cheng, submerges himself in his own bathtub in order to try and recreate the memory of The Woman from his past, a memory he has lost due to almost being drowned seven years ago. When that fails, he brings Du Cheng to the pool, where he plans to stay under water as long as possible until he can see the face again. Du Cheng is clearly uncomfortable with this, gets worried, and dives in after him. They struggle under the water; Shen Yi wants to stay down there until he passes out, Du Cheng is Not Having It. When they are finally both out of the water again, Du Cheng basically tells Shen Yi that he can let go of his guilt; it's clear he doesn't want Shen Yi putting himself in harm's way again and again for the sake of that case, Shen Yi's life has become more important to him than solving it. It is only after this that Shen Yi is able to recreate the face from his memory. Remember, though, that Du Cheng was, in his own way, drowning at the beginning of the show. After the scene at the pool, they are both able to come out of the water together. They are both able to start breathing again.

thinking about. how merlin brings out the best in arthur and on the other hand arthur brings out the darkest parts of merlin. how arthur always tries to be better and do the right thing because merlin believes in him and he wouldn't want to disappoint him. because he believes merlin is good and he wants to be good for him. how merlin always ends up making the worst decision in his desire to protect arthur, doing things he never thought he'd do. how from saving arthur's life because that's a right thing to do, he goes to putting his life above any of his own morals.

I like to think Marcille is extremely in love w Falin but pre-death she’s like “Hahaha yep me and Falin, best friends, oh my fucking god she’s never gonna reciprocate my feelings” and cries herself to sleep
Like she’s THAT kind of pathetic gay meanwhile Falin is like “man kinda weird we don’t kiss considering she’s my gf but that’s okay”
