twinganes thought of the day :
i like the headcanon of shiro’s face scar resulting from an injury and actually having daily impacts, and not just being a visual trait without grouding in the reality/physicality of the story. Making him snore when he didn’t before, difficulty breathing through the nose, habits changed so that breathing through his mouth is now the defaut, and how he feels when he can’t.
and now thinking of ryou and how his body is a copy of shiro’s, but not necessarily on all the details (ex : general hc that he doesn’t have the body scars shiro has, since we saw him wearing short-sleeved shirt), and that he could have the face scar but no anatomy modification because no actual injury.
does his implanted memories take the wheel and he follows shiro’s habits, does he explore his body once he knows he is ryou and is settled enough to take this time, does he want to do the discovery ? does he realizes here and there while living around shiro and being confronted to how the differences impacts him. Is he glad, in some ways, to have other ways to be not-shiro ?
most important, does he meme “i’m built different”

Early visual development for Wish (2023) by Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay and Brittney Lee.
An earlier version of the film saw Star take on a human form as a magical, glowing character inspired by Peter Pan. Ultimately, the creative team reconceptualized Star as an ethereal, playful entity resembling Mickey Mouse. "Now Star and Asha have an emotional journey. They are soulmates." -Allison Moore.

Whats the name of a pair of character which viciously hate each other and have so many layers to their relationship based soley on that hate. Not in an enemies to lovers kind of way (the romance would make it less interesting) nor in a simple rivals way (the hatred they have for each other is too profound) but a secret third thing. What is the secret third thing called and why am I obsessed with it

oh boy, I had considered playing AA5 but given your reactions I'm not sure I want to anymore....
I even know the 'twist' but still, your reaction make me feel like I would hate it anyway
like obviously the . terrible completely unforeshadowed last minute heel-face twist that is frankly an embarrassment for a series whos entire shtick is "murder mystery" . sucks. like truly this is terrible beyond words. nonetheless i do still feel like its worth playing because even if the execution of some of the ideas are subpar/actively bad, the cast is really strong and a number of the concepts are really fun. ill get into my opinions on this game more later but honestly even with all the bs theyve pulled i feel like overall i feel like i had a better time with this game than aa4

I forgot to make a post about it til now, but in Onestar's Confession, Tallstar going to the Moonstone to confirm Crowpaw's story and being told by StarClan "yeah he's right, you'll never get your home back so you need to leave" makes me even more exasperated at the plot of Midnight. Already that book baffles me in hindsight because I misremembered it for years — I believed that the journey to Midnight was to not only strengthen bonds between cats of each Clan to help everyone work together, but also to point them in the right direction of a new home because the lake was so far outside StarClan's sight that the Clans needed an outside source of information.
Turns out I was wrong. The whole journey was just so Midnight could tell them to leave their home, and they had to figure out where to go entirely on their own. (Sure they had a shooting star help them out but it's not like StarClan couldn't have predicted that too.) But if we have confirmation by this point (also confirmed in Shadowstar's Life) that StarClan already knew they had to leave, then what was the point of all that??? All they really accomplished was stalling the great journey for multiple books and letting a bunch of cats suffer and die needlessly. I don't agree with the idea a lot of people have that StarClan and all these characters should simply (and uncharacteristically) work together and flawlessly avoid conflict, I like conflict, but I want a reason for it. The case of Midnight is just so unfortunate. It's such a mess that could have so easily been streamlined into something that makes more sense, but it just... wasn't.
